Equestria, Crystal Express

The Crystal Express sped along the tracks towards its destination, its sides being accompany by a crystal red scaled wyvern and crystal yellow scaled dragon. Over time, the ice and snow of the frozen north would give way to the lush green grass of Equestria. Giant mountains could be seen in the distance, reaching high into the sky as if to touch Celestiaโ€™s sun itself.

Inside the train's first class car, multiple figures were either seated or standing, engaged in various conversations.

The first was Princess Twilight Sparkle, who sat comfortable in her seat as she watched Spike sleeping peacefully next to her while stroking his spine, with Lieutenant Flash Sentry sitting opposite side.

Starlight Glimmer and Fluttershy were chatting with and asking questions to Queen Seraphine to get to know more about the changeling queen. King Crestwing was telling everything he knows about the Storm King, his lieutenant Tempest Shadow and their army when they invaded Mount Aris to Princess Celestia. Princess Luna and Au Hasard were sitting together while catching up with each other, sharing the events that transpired during a thousand and five years. Pinkie Pie and Thunderhoof were chatting with Dew Nourish and Commander Hurricane. Rainbow Dash was busy asking questions to Nimbus Dash and Grimhoof about the Cloudsdale Royal Legion and their adventures. Rarity was complimenting about King Fire Blaze's and Clover the Clever's appearance to them. Applejack and Stormfeather were talking to each other to get to know more about each other. Across from the Princess of Friendship sat Amore talking to her family, Princess Cadance and her son-in-law, Shining Armor. The guards from each leaders were chatting with each other.

Twilight smiled at the family sitting across from her as she watched them talking while giggling with each other.

"Princess Twilight Sparkle?" A voice called out to her, prompting the princess to turn her attention to Flash. "Can I confess something to you?" The lieutenant asked while twitching his wings.

"Sure, what is it? And please, just call me Twilight." Twilight smiled.

The lieutenant's cheeks began to flush pink as he looked at her. "Twilight..." He began. "I... I like you."

The Princess of Friendship's eyes widened in shock, a blush appearing on her face while the others stopped conversing and looked at them in surprised, even the dragon woke up and stared at the two.

Flash took a deep breath before continuing, his eyes never leaving Twilight's. "From the moment we first bumped into each other at the first princess summit a few years ago back at the Crystal Empire, I couldn't stop thinking about you. I like your intelligence, your kindness and your beautiful lavender coat. Every time we met, my feelings grew stronger, but I never had the courage to tell you. You're really cool, and you don't let your status as Princess go to your head. You're really approachable, and you're smart, and Seeing you everyday, now I realized I just... really like you..."

The train car fell silent, and everyone awaited the Princess of Friendship's response. She took a moment to gather her thoughts, her mind racing with emotions and memories. She recalled their first meeting, and the subtle moments that had passed between them during her visits to the Crystal Empire. Finally, she took a deep breath and met the lieutenant's gaze.

"Flash," Twilight began, her voice being soft as her face blushed even more. "I have something to confess to you too. I like you too." Flash's eyes widened at the confession. "Your support and friendship have meant a lot to me. You've always been there, offering a helping hoof or a comforting word when I needed it. Your sincerity and courage are qualities I deeply respect, and they made me realize how much I appreciate having you in my life."

The Princess of Friendship's blush deepened as she continued, her voice still soft. "I like you for who you are, Flash. You're really sweet, you're protective, not to mention you're really nice, too. I didn't realize how much I cared about you until recently, but now I understand. I like you too, more than just a friend."

The lieutenant smiled and moved in to nuzzle Twilight. "I really like you." He half-whispered.

The Princess of Friendship smiled serenely, and nuzzled him back. โ€œI really like you too.โ€ She replied.

The group watched the scene with various degrees of happiness and adoration. Fluttershy looked ready to faint, but from happiness and cuteness overload instead of fear. Pinkie looked ready to throw a million parties a day to celebrate this wonderful occasion. Rarity clapped her hooves together in delight while squealing, and Applejack tipped her hat with a proud grin. Rainbow Dash nudged Nimbus with a wink while Grimhoof and Stormfeather let out an appreciative whistle. King Crestwing, King Fire Blaze and Queen Seraphine smiled. Clover and Hurricane exchanged knowing smiles. Both Starlight and Dew's eyes sparkled while beaming. Amore smiled. Cadance was trying and failing not to squeal while Shining was smiled with amusement. The guards cheered and clapped at Flash.

Spike, fully awake now, grinned at Twilight. "About time," He said teasingly, earning a chuckle from the Prince.

The dragon's remark got both the Princess of Friendship and the lieutenant exchanged confused looks. Shining walked toward them, smirking, while the Princess of Love giggled.

"What do you mean 'about time', Spike?" Twilight asked, confusion evident in her face.

"Twily, do you remember back in Canterlot when I asked you if it's not just because of your previous interactions with him when you suggested Flash to come with us and you said no?" The Prince asked.

"And you never thought why didn't Shiny stopped you?" Spike added with a mischievous grin.

It took a minute or two for everything in the Princess of Friendship's mind to click. Once they did, her face went red and she exclaimed, "Sh-shining! Spike!"

The train car erupted into laughter, the joyful sound echoing off the walls as the train continued to speed towards its destination while Amore watched the scene and smiled.

Badlands Hive

It's been a year after the former Queen Chrysalis had been permanently disposed and drained to death. The once dark, foreboding, and jagged hive structures have transformed into more colorful, organic, and harmonious shapes with lowers, vines, and other greenery.

Within the hive, Pharynx strolled through the hive's hallway, nodding in greeting to the changelings he passed. He had been informed by one of the guards that his brother, Thorax, had some important news to share. It had been decided that his brother would be the new leader of the changeling hive.

As he made his way to the throne room, the purple changeling couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilty. He remembered how his brother forgave him even though how badly he had treated his brother during Chrysalis's reign and how he constantly kept telling his brother that taking love from others was the only way for the hive to survive.

Pharynx shook off the guilt as he reached the throne room and found Thorax, who looked up from his seat with a warm smile while holding a letter in his magic, and Ocellus standing with her friendship reports held in her magic.

Thorax now has green with brilliant gamboge chest exoskeleton, dark azure with moderate emerald green underside carapace, two light brilliant orange horns and moderate rose eyes. The young changeling has pale, light grayish artic blue exoskeleton and carapace, moderate cyan eyes and light amaranth neck fin mane.

"Pharynx, I'm glad you're here," The green changeling said, his voice gentle. "I have some news that I think you'll find interesting."

"What is it, Thorax?" The purple changeling asked, his curiosity piqued.

Thorax gestured for his brother to come closer. "We've received words from Princess Twilight Sparkle. She's invited us to her Friendship Festival in Canterlot."

Pharynx raised an eyebrow. "The Friendship Festival? What's the occasion."

"It's a celebration of unity and friendship. Princess Twilight thought it would be a great opportunity for all of us to come together and strengthen our bonds." The young changeling answered with excitement.

The purple changeling nodded his head in agreement. "Sounds like a good idea. When do we leave?"

"The festival's in a few days, we should start preparing immediately." The green changeling replied.

The young changeling beamed while bouncing. "I'm excited for the Friendship Festival!"

Pharynx couldn't help but smile at Ocellus's enthusiasm. "Alright, I will get some of our guards ready. It'll be very interesting."

Griffonstone

The once-mighty city of Griffonstone had seen better days, but there were signs of hope and renewal everywhere. The griffons, inspired by the efforts of Gilda, Gabby and Gallus, were slowly rebuilding their society. Homes were being repaired, businesses were opening, and a sense of community was starting to return.

In the heart of the city, Grampa stood atop a newly rebuilt structure, his eyes scanning the horizon. He could see several griffons working together, something that had been a rare sight for many years. He felt a sense of pride and responsibility, knowing that the future of Griffonstone depended on the continued efforts of its inhabitants.

As he stood there, a messenger griffon approached, carrying a letter in his talons. "Grampa Gruff! Message for you!" He called out, landing gracefully beside her.

Gruff took the letter and unrolled it, his eyes slowly widening as he read. "A Friendship Festival in Canterlot? Huh, this could be interesting." He muttered to himself.

He looked around at the bustling city, contemplating the invitation. "You!" He turned and called to the messenger, who stiffened. "Bring Gilda, Gabby, Gallus, and some of our guards. Tell them there's a festival in Canterlot, and they'll be attending by themselves."

The messenger quickly saluted before leaving to gather the necessary griffons.

Peaks of Peril

The Peaks of Peril, home to the kirins, were nestled in a lush, mountainous region. The kirin village had flourished under the guidance of their leader, Rain Shine. The once reclusive and silent kirins had embraced a new era of communication and harmony, thanks to Applejack and Fluttershy's intervention.

The Queen of the kirins stood at the edge of the village, looking out over the serene landscape. The tranquility of the Peaks of Peril was something she cherished deeply. As she pondered the beauty around her, a messenger kirin approached, carrying a scroll in her magic.

"Queen Rain Shine, a message from Princess Twilight Sparkle." the kirin said, presenting the scroll.

The queen took the letter, her curiosity piqued. As she read the message, her eyes widened slightly. "A Friendship Festival in Canterlot? This could be a wonderful opportunity for us."

She put the letter down and looked around at the messenger. "Gather our leaders and some of the guards. We need to discuss this invitation."

The messenger bowed down before leaving to perform her task.

Soon, a group of kirins and guards had assembled, including Autumn Blaze, who was known for making new friends, chatting, singing, and playing practical jokes.

Rain Shine addressed them with a calm but excited demeanor. "We have been invited to a Friendship Festival in Canterlot by Princess Twilight Sparkle. It's a celebration of unity and friendship. I believe it would be beneficial for us to attend, to make new friends with the other creatures of Equestria."

Autumn's eyes lit up with excitement. "A festival? That sounds amazing! We should definitely go and share our stories and songs."

The other kirins nodded in agreement, their expressions reflecting a mix of curiosity and eagerness.

"Very well," The queen said with a serene smile. "We will prepare for the journey. This is an opportunity to show the world who we are and to learn from others."

Seaquestria

Within Seaquestria's throne room, Queen Novo sat in her throne chair deep in her thoughts.

Her thoughts went back to a few days ago where she refused to give the the five ponies, two princesses and the dragon the Pearl of Transformation when the Storm King invaded Canterlot and where the Princess of Love had suddenly bleeding from her nose and swam up the beach to cough out more blood before collapsing on the beach.

Lost in her thoughts, the queen of the hippogriffs didnโ€™t notice the messenger hippogriff approaching. "Queen Novo, a message for you," He announced, bowing respectfully.

Startled, Novo looked up and took the letter. As she read, her eyes softened. "A Friendship Festival in Canterlot?" She mused aloud. "Perhaps this is a chance to make amends and strengthen our bonds."

She turned to the messenger. "Summon my daughter and some of our guards. I want to have a word with them."

The messenger bowed and left to carry out his orders.

Soon, Princess Skystar, Silverstream, Sky Beak and some of the guards arrived. The queen addressed them with a mixture of solemnity and hope.

"We've been invited to a Friendship Festival in Canterlot by Princess Twilight Sparkle. It's a chance for us to strengthen our bonds and perhaps make amends for past mistakes," Novo explained. "We should attend this 'Friendship Festival'."

Skystar's eyes sparkled with excitement. "A festival in Canterlot? This sounds amazing! We'll make new friends and show them what Seaquestria is all about!"

Silverstream nodded eagerly, and Sky Beak smiled proudly at his daughter's enthusiasm. The guards stood ready, prepared for the journey ahead.

Novo nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Very well. Let's prepare for the journey."

Yakyakistan

Yakyakistan, the land of the yaks, lay nestled in the snowy mountains, cold air being thick with the scent of pine and the distant sound of icy winds brushing against the mountains. Inside the grand throne room, Prince Rutherford was deep in conversation with an advisor yak.

The heavy wooden doors creaked open, and a yak messenger, panting slightly from the climb, stepped forward, a scroll held carefully in his mouth. "Prince Rutherford! Message from Princess Twilight Sparkle!" He announced.

Rutherford took the letter, his eyes scanned the letter in concentration. After a moment, he set it down with a decisive nod.. "Friendship Festival in Canterlot? Yaks will attend!" He turned to the messenger. "You yak will go to Yona and some guards. Tell them that they will be attending the festival on my behalf as I won't be able to attend."

The messenger saluted enthusiastically before rushing out of the throne room to carry out Rutherford's orders.

Dragon Lands

The volcanic landscape of the Dragon Lands was rugged and fierce, much like its inhabitants. Dragon Lord Ember stood near the edge of the cliff, looking out the volcanic terrain as the lava bubbled and steamed below.

As she surveyed her domain, a dragon messenger flew in, landing gracefully beside her and bowing slightly. "Dragon Lord Ember, a message from Princess Twilight Sparkle," He announced, holding out a letter.

She took the letter and read it carefully. "A Friendship Festival in Canterlot?" She mused aloud. "This could be an excellent opportunity for us."

Ember put the letter down and turned to the messenger. "Gather Smolder and some of our best warriors. Tell them we have an important event to attend in Equestria."

The messenger nodded and flew off to carry out her orders.

She looked out over the Dragon Lands once more for a while before turning and heading back towards her throne to make preparations for the journey.

Everything was well in the city of Canterlot. Everything was well in the city of Canterlot as individuals of various races of ponies walked the streets while patrols of the Royal Guards continued their duty. All was normal in the city, and amongst the families inhabiting it.

Both Crimson Chaser and Night Shadow overlooked it all from one of the throne room's windows, sense of worriedness filled within them.

"Captains?" A voice called from behind. Both the captains looked behind them to see Mallow Sear, Furx, Yeth, Midnight Blossom, Ironclaw and Sunwing approaching them, along with Starswirl the Bearded, Mistmane, Rockhoof, Flash Magnus, Somnambula and Meadowbrook who have received the letter from Twilight to attend the Friendship Festival.

"Are you two alright? You looked worried." Furx asked.

The solar guard captain smiled. "Yeah, we're alright. Just a bit worried."

"You two need to relax. Both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are just seeing Princess Amore at the Crystal Empire. It won't take long before they come back." Midnight reassured Crimson.

"I know that. But the Storm King and his army are still out there, and the recon teams still haven't have the stronghold yet." The lunar guard captain countered.

Starswirl stepped forward, his wise eyes meeting those of the captains. "Your concerns are valid, but we must not let fear dictate our actions."

Mistmane nodded in agreement. "And remember, we have many capable allies now."

Crimson Chaser sighed, his tension easing slightly. "I know, but it's just hard to shake off the feeling that something might go wrong."

Rockhoof walked forward. "Aye, we've overcome foes that seemed unbeatable. This Storm King is just another challenge to be met with."

Flash Magnus added. "And if the Storm King does show up, we'll be ready to give him a fight he'll never forget."

Both Somnambula and Meadowbrook nodded their head in agreement.

From their vantage point, had the group been paying attention they might have just spotted the crystal train heading straight towards the Canterlot train station.

< < < < < < < < < ๐Ÿ’™ > > > > > > > > >

The crystalline designed train sped towards the station, the trainโ€™s whistle screeching again to signal its arrival which caught the attention of the workers, other ponies and some of the Royal Guards at the station.

The crystal train slowly came to a halt, the guards from each leaders quickly departing and getting on with their jobs while the two large dragons landed on the station's roof. The rest of groups slowly walked out the vehicle.

A royal guard slowly approached the group, bowing down before raising up. "Your highnesses, you have arrived. I have been ordered by Captain Crimson Chaser to escort you and your visitors to the throne room."

"Very well, Lieutenant Cobalt Onyx. Take us there." Princess Celestia said and the lieutenant saluted at her before gesturing them to follow him.
