A Newcomer

I was by the fireplace all by myself. Lyra has left for a few errands which im fine with. I thought more about Lime. My curiosity drove me crazy.

Then I heard a knock on the door. It was odd since we dont get many visitors at this type of time. I awnsered the door,a Cyan Colt with a Green mane greeted me. I sprang up is suprise that the new pony was there. I invited him in and he told me that he was really tired after the very long walk and he asked me if he could stay for the night. I was ok with this since the house had a few extra rooms that we barely use with a beds.I treated them more like guest rooms than extra space.

I agreed with him and told him that we had a few extra rooms that he could stay in. He seemed very happy even though he was exhausted. We have gotten to know each other very well. I also told him that I had a roommate named Lyra. And told him that she is pretty nice compared to the other ponies that she met.

After 2 hours I seemed tired and told him that I wanted to go to bed and that he can ask me if anything is wrong.Then headed upstairs into my room and then plopped down on my bed drifting to sleep. The next morning I woke up and greeted Lime as he was still getting used to his surroundings. I passed Lyra`s room as I headed downstairs. "Did you meet our new guest" I asked. "yes,I only noticed him since you guys where sleeping like foals! "Lyra exclaimed. "what is the book about" I asked. "Its called "Mystery Among The Streets Of Canterlot" . "Lyra informed.me. I left her with her book and headed downstairs.
