Pinkie’s words echoed slightly in the room. The club had just opened and there weren’t many guests there, yet. The whole room, everything, was blue. Navy seats. Royal carpet. Cyan geometric patterns on Brewers walls. The stage, itself, was pure cerulean. A fitting color, given it’s tear drop shape as it jutted out from the back wall and into the center of the floor. Marble had to agree with her sister, it was very serene. She was glad she had agreed to come.
They found a table and called the waitress over. She walked over with some menus and passed them out. She was clearly not happy to be there. Marble felt bad for making her work. Pinkie, of course, was trying to make jokes and get the waitress to laugh. As the waitress started walking away with their drink orders, Marble noticed the waitresses skirt. It was really short. Marble could see the bottoms of her cheeks. She felt her face begin to warm up.
Hopefully her father didn’t see. He was very strict when it came to clothes. He would periodically go through their dressers and throw out anything that he thought was too revealing. The club was beginning to fill up as the waitress came back with their drinks. With a look of utter defeat, she walked away with the cupcake. Marble looked down to her drink. It was just plain soda water with…rocks? She picked up her glass and examined it. They were three perfect cubes of granite. Whisky stones. She had never seen them in person before. This must be a really fancy club.
The rest of the table had the same drink, except for Pinkie. She was sitting on the opposite side of the table with her huge Pinkie grin. Marble didn’t know if it was because the color of her drink matched her hair, or if she was just in a state of pure bliss from the name alone: Frozen Pink Panties. Either way, she was having a good time, and that always made Marble happy, but uncomfortable.
The lights dimmed, while some ethereal organ music began to play. Light began to twinkle across the edges of the stage. And then a voice came out of nowhere and made Marble jump, just the tiniest bit.
“Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Azurelia. The show is about to begin.”

As the chords for the verse hit, The spotlight lit up revealing…Maud? Maud was…dancing? And she was good. Her feet didn’t miss a single beat. Her hands moved and twisted her body in moves that Marble had never seen anyone do before. Maud was way more flexible than Marble even knew. And she looked really good in her new outfit. Her blue sequined gown matched her eyeshadow and dark denim nicely. She grabbed the pole on stage and lifted herself high off the ground into an acrobatic spin.
When did the pole get there? Maud landed in a squat looking over her shoulder directly at Marble. She felt her breath catch in her throat for the briefest of moments. Then Maud stood and, in one fluid motion, spun around and ripped her shirt clean off of her torso. Marble recognized the distinct sound of silk in the rip. Wait. Maud was topless. On a stage. Marble glanced over to her father. He was probably the most angry she had ever seen. It probably accounted for the fact that he hadn’t started yelling yet. Back on stage, Maud continued. She dropped her shirt off the side onto someone else’s table and began a sensual sway that Marble couldn’t stop watching. As the end of the second verse came, Maud stood once more facing their table. Marble could swear she was making eye contact with their father.

He huffed and stormed to the exit. Her mother quickly followed behind him, looking like she was going to help him calm down.

Pinkie’s sudden loud cheer scared the piss out of Marble. It was just a little bit, but still, it was enough that making it home was going to be miserable. Once in the restroom, Marble found a stall and finished her business. If she had done this before the show, she probably would’ve had dry underwear still. “I, um, had an accident. I dried them, though, so I’m okay now.” She gave her sister a small smile.

Now wash your hands and get out there with Pinkie. I think she might try jumping on the stage herself, if we’re not out there to stop her. I gotta pee.”
Limestone pushed by Marble to the stall. As instructed, Marble washed her hands, and went back out to the table where Pinkie was standing on her chair being obnoxiously loud and cheering for everyone on stage. You know, normal Pinkie. She flagged down the waitress and ordered the drink that her sister was drinking. She didn’t know why she did. She guessed it was because Limestone had really been proud of her. And it made her feel good.
It came quicker than she was expecting. She gave it a sniff. It was fruity with just a hint of bitterness. She took a sip and let the flavours play across her tongue. It was sweet and creamy and delicious. She relaxed back into her chair cradling her drink with both hands. Her eyes wandered back up to the stage in time to catch Maud walking back out. She was wearing….feathers? It really looked like she was just covered in feathers.
A fan began blowing across the stage. Maud began her dance, deliberate in its attempt to titillate. Marble didn’t even hear the music. Maud made her way back to the stage and finished her song. She bowed and left the stage. Marble was very confused. She liked it. She really liked what Maud had done. She reached into her shirt, pulled out the feather, and stared at it. She sipped her drink and turned the feather in her hands. And then, all the lights turned on.
“We hope you enjoyed our show tonight. Please don’t forget to pay your tabs and tip your waitresses on the way out.”
Marble looked around, very confused. It was over already? She shrugged and tucked the feather away in her pocket. As she stood up, she started to notice the table getting close to her head. She put out a hand to catch herself.
She heard Pinkie from across the table “Whoe there, Marble. That’s the most I’ve ever seen you drink. Maybe I should’ve stopped you. Parties aren’t fun if you have too much fun. You know?”
Marble nodded. She steadied her legs as best she could and took her hand off the table. It would’ve been nice to be a quadruped at the moment. She glanced up to the empty stage; Maud using her massive strength to rip off her pants flashed across her vision. She felt weird.
“Oh come on. You only had three drinks, Marble. You shouldn’t be this out of it.” Limestone’s gruff voice snapped her back to the present. Before she could reply, she felt her sisters pick her up. Limestone hooked her arms under her armpits and Pinkie grabbed her legs. Once outside, the cool night air brought some mental clarity to Marble’s mind. Her sisters set her down and started chatting.
“Did you see Maud?!”
“We were all there, Pinkie.”

“Geez Pinkie. Now we have to walk home!”
“I know! I just wanted us to have a fun family time watching Maud dance, and I knew dad wouldn’t even let us come if he knew what Maud was gonna be doing.”
“UGH! Come on.”
Limestone started stomping away with Pinkie following close behind, trying various things to cheer her eldest sister up. Marble glanced back over to Maud and gave her a smile.
“I really liked your show, Maud.”
Maud wrapped her arm around Marble, sending a tingle down her spine. They walked together like that, trailing behind their other two sisters. Marble enjoyed the walk. Watching her sister ahead of her bantering back and forth. Maud’s strong arm holding her close. She could feel Maud’s muscles contracting and relaxing as they walked. She wrapped her own arms around Maud’s waist as they walked. This put her head right above Maud’s heart. She could hear it pumping. She could hear Maud’s steady breathing. Her half lidded eyes were the most intense that Marble had ever seen. She leaned in and touched her lips to Maud’s. She didn’t know why, and almost immediately she was in sheer terror at what she had done. She pulled away and tried to jump out of the bed, but Maud held her firm. Her arms wrapped around Marble’s midsection like and iron vise. Marble looked into Maud’s eyes once more.
“Are you sure, Marble?”
Shivering, all Marble could do was nod. That was all it took. Maud placed her hand behind Marble’s head and pulled her in for another kiss. Deeper. Harder. Marble felt her sister’s passions being unleashed, giving her the courage to do the same. She wrapped her arms around Maud’s neck and threw her leg over Maud’s hip, using her appendages to pull Maud in even closer. Maud smelled of fresh shampoo and triscuits. Maud used the opportunity to roll Marble onto her back. Marble had no chance of resisting those strong arms.
