Two young fillies have been adopted by a friendly family of Earth Ponies just outside of the small town of Ponyville. The family appears to own the local apple orchard: Sweet Apple Acres.

Alongside their head mistress, the two fillies aboard the Friendship Express and hope that this family is not like the other families that have tried to adopted them before.
