//-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival of Sisters -by HeartfireFirebrand 2- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Incident //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Incident (Mary POV) I waiting for my sister. It was awfully cold today so I was was wearing my favourite dark grey jacket, a white t-shirt underneath and dark blue jeans.I smiled “Hey sis, how was work?” My sister Evalyn was wearing a dark blue summer style dress, she was also wearing sandals instead of boots. She limped over to me as she groaned “Terrible, everyone kept making stupid demands of me.” I nudged her “Well it’s over for the day, let’s go and get lunch.” I helped her along our usual route, it was down aside streets that didn’t have anyone walking around and cars rarely came down this way. It was odd we saw a strange walking down the road coming closer, I ignored them. Maybe they lived around here. How wrong I was, as we got close he pulled out a knife. Before I could react he swung at me, I gripped my throat as I felt my blood trickling down my neck. I collapsed to the ground my vision started to blur as everything went dark. I groaned as I regained consciousness, I saw bunch of strange cat sized equines looking at me in a mix of fear and awe, my sister would not like this. I stood up only to see a huge purple bear flying over my head, it looked like it had stars inside it. Evalyn ran over to me but now the entire surface of her left eye was red and the right was blue, her head warping between several unnatural directions. Her clothes were white and she had a red gash across her chest. I grabbed her “EVALYN, IT’S ME MARY!” Evalyn turned to me, her eyes returned to normal. Her red and blue irises staring at me. She wrapped me in a massive hug, I frowned “Before we do anything, we need to deal with the bear.” Evalyn nodded, she smirked as she summoned two goat skulls. One had had a red left eye and green right eye while the other had a blue right eye and a green left eye. Both blasted the huge bear, turning it to ash. Evalyn turned to me with a smile “Now that’s dealt with…” Her eyes widened as she saw the small equines. She darted behind me “Those horses are going to get me.” I groaned “Relax, they are not going to hurt you. They have homes and buildings, they are clearly intelligent.” I turned to a cat sized purple pony with a tricoloured mane “My name is Mary, what’s yours?” The mare eyed me cautiously “I’m Twilight Sparkle, this is Ponyville. Could you tell me how you got here?” I frowned “We were attacked by someone and ended up here. We are not sure why.” I placed my hand behind her neck, giving her neck rubs. She relaxed, laying down her belly. I smiled, they were just like cats. I turned to Evalyn “They won’t hurt you, look.” Evalyn poked her head from behind me, a shy looking yellow winged pony with a pink mane slowly approached her. Evalyn hesitantly held out her hand, the pony slowly sat on her lap “My name is Fluttershy.” Evalyn slowly rubbed her hand against the mare’s back, calming down in the presence of Fluttershy. Fluttershy smiled “We aren’t your enemies, I promise.” Fluttershy curled up like a cat in my sister’s lap. I turned to Twilight removing my hand “I am hoping we could build a house nearby, one that would suit our size. I am aware that it won’t be an easy task but I would rather not sleep on the dirt for the foreseeable future.” Twilight recovered, blushing slightly. She shook her head before smiling “I’ll see what I can do but I need to send a letter to the Princesses first.” I nodded turning to my sister who was still patting Fluttershy. I frowned as one of the flying ponies approached. Her mane was a rainbow of colours and her coat was a light blue. She was glaring into my eyes “Why should we have trust you anyway? You just turned up out of nowhere, what if you are spies for invaders!” An orange pony with a yellow mane wearing a stetson glared at light blue pony in front of me “Rainbow, stop accusing everypony you see of being spies just because they are different or know something. Ah’m pretty sure sending a giant to spy on someone is a stupid idea, they were found immediately.” Rainbow landed next to the pony “Applejack, don’t you find their story even slightest bit suspicious. They just told us some vague line about being attacked and ending up here for some strange reason.” Applejack looked at Rainbow “Ah would have thought the same but having been witness to a one thousand year old legend come to life before mah eyes, Ah have learned that the impossible can happen. We have both witnessed it, stranger things have happened then two giants appearing out of nowhere.” I turned away from them as a small flash of golden light revealed a pristine white pony with a horn and wings. She was about as large as a big house cat, larger than the other ponies around me.I bowed my head “You must be the Princess, it’s pleasure to meet you.” The Princess nodded with a smile “I am Princess Celestia, my sister Princess Luna is taking care of the court while I am here. She has only returned recently and has one thousand years of catching up to do on how leading our nation has changed.” This Princess Luna likely was this Nightmare Moon, likely jealous of the Princess of the Sun. It would fit with the naming and the most logical outcome. I frowned “My sister and I need help in constructing a place to stay. I understand that will be a difficult task but I would rather not sleep in the cold for the indefinite future.” Celestia smiled “Well I’ll see what I can do in Canterlot but that will take some time.” I nodded “Just don’t approach my sister too suddenly, when she was a little girl she had an accident with an equine from our world. She has been scared of all equines ever since, the only reason why she is calm right now is because of Fluttershy.” Celestia turned to Fluttershy “Her kindness is something very rare, although she is usually quite timid.” I frowned “You know her better than I.” Before she could respond a letter popped up in front out of green flame, Celestia read it in front of me. Celestia sighed “This is Twilight's letter telling me about you. I was already aware of your arrival, I picked up the dimensional disturbance.” She then looked at Evalyn’s huge gash “Is she alright?” I nodded “Yes, she will be fine. I don’t think she has noticed the scar.” With that Celestia teleported away. I wondered how our new home would look. Author's Note I hope you enjoy this initial chapter. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: New Home //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: New Home (Evalyn POV) It was a couple of weeks since we arrived in this world, a world full of little tiny ponies. I was shivering as I watched them leave the premise of our new house. Mary meanwhile was interacting with the pony she told me was Applejack. Our house was built near the outskirts of town, I hoped that would keep the ponies away from our home. Mary walked over to me “Do you want to look around our new home.” I grumbled “Not really. I just want to go back to our home.” Mary facepalmed “You were miserable there too, you came home after work and slumped down on your bed. I didn’t even see you until dinner, you just laid on your bed and sobbed all day. You need to find happiness somewhere.” I growled “Life is not meant to be happy, it’s meant to be real. Life will always beat you down, that’s just how it works.” Mary sighed “Just have a look.” We entered the house, it was a quaint place. A small wooden dining table and two chairs were on either side. I walked through the plain wooden halls, Mary meanwhile was inspecting the rest of the house. There were two doors next to each other at the back, I opened one to see an empty room with a single bed. I laid down on it and closed my eyes. I wanted this to be a bad dream. Maybe if I was lucky, I would wake up somewhere else. I closed my eyes, drifting into slumber. I woke in a pitch black space a skeletal figure stood over me, he was wearing a long white cloak as well as black shirt with blue v-like shape at the bottom. He was also wearing black pants and white socks. He held out his hand, I took it hesitantly as he helped me to my feet. He nodded at me “My name is Error 404, I would meet in person but you are on the outskirts of my influence. I can only come here in your dreams due to the distance between our physical locations.” He then turned to a dark miasma bumping up against the barrier around us “She can’t see us or hear us, she is good at what she does but no amount of skill could over come the difference between our powers.” I frowned “Why are you here?” Error 404 gave a subtle smirk “I wish to teach you something and maybe you will be able to help me in the future. You have natural abilities are something that could aid me in my cause. I can help explain those abilities and how they work.” I frowned as he placed what appeared to be a rock on the ground, he raised his hand “I wish for you to copy this rock, focus on the rock. Take in every detail and create another.” I focused upon the rock, I could see it fade into code. It was almost too easy. With a wave of my hand another rock appeared, completely identical to the first. He nodded “Impressive, when you awaken you should practice more. After all I think someone wants your attention.” The area started to glow white, I jolted out of my bed. Mary was standing over me “You can’t just sleep, it’s a beautiful day outside.” I frowned, that was too strange to be fake. Mary smiled “Come on, I’m making breakfast.” I followed her out of the room, we soon arrived at our dining table. I saw a small yellow flower outside the window, I focused on it and a flower was in my hand but it was blue instead of yellow. I placed it down, creating more flowers. After ten minutes, I had fifty blue flowers on the table. Mary turned to me and blinked “Where did those flowers come from?” I turned to her, a plate of eggs on toast on a plate “Somebody turned up in my dreams, a skeleton. He told me I could copy things and make more of them, I’m not perfect at it yet. They should be yellow.” Mary frowned “I don’t like this but if it makes you happy I won’t complain. It gives something to do other than mope.” She put a plate down next to the pile of flowers. She smiled “Eat up, if you are going to keep practising that you will need to eat.” I grumbled as I levitated the flowers and tossed them outside. I moved the plate to in front of me, I glared at the flower outside. I turned away as I saw few of the tiny ponies walk by. I grimaced, focusing on my meal. (Mary POV) After our meal was done, I left Evalyn making more flowers. I was more interested in exploring the town, I had to watch wear I walked as I was far larger than the ponies. Still most of them were unfazed by my presence. I was a little perturbed by the very light aquamarine mare, her wild smile as she shouted “Human, tell me your secrets!” I pulled her off and placed her on the ground “I have no secrets, also don’t pester my sister. I would rather not have her laying in a panicked ball for the next day or so.” A cream coloured earth pony mare pulled her back “My name is Sweetie Drops or Bon Bon to my friends, forgive Lyra. She is a bit crazy about humans and sometimes forgets boundaries.” I smiled “It’s alright, she can’t really do anything. I am far too large for her to move.” I walked away, the town was fairly quiet. Ponies were milling about their business, I could see ponies buying from the stalls in the market. Others were entering Sugarcube Corner, I sat down near the forest. For some reason our fridge was always magically stocked with food, even the ponies couldn’t explain it. Maybe whoever brought us here is sustaining us, hard to tell. My thoughts were interrupted by a pink cloud bumping into my face. That was strange. I new something was up, weird weather didn’t happen here. Author's Note I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
