When Rarity receives a letter from a old flame, she has mixed emotions. The mysterious Upstage, had left her and Ponyville behind and entered the theater business. But when a string of incidents lay the production in shambles and he asks for help, the Mane six go to Canterlot to help. They meet Upstage, but who's that with him? Comedy, tragedy, and adventure ensue as the Mane six try to solve the mysteries of the theater before its final curtain call.
