CH.1: Out Of Their World, to Another?!
It began in China, Qingqing City. News spread when a first born child in a hospital was given powers no one even thought it was possible. Later on eye-witness confirm that other people throughout the world started to also gain powers, and still have no answers as to where they’re coming from. Each individual had different types of abilities. Ice, fire, super strength, super speed, bending metal, growing to the size of a Titan, gravity, and much more. These born miracles were given an official name by the scientist who studied them: Quirks. Because of these quirks they gave birth to something where citizens of society could be safe and looked up to as idols, it was one that all kids would only find in a comic book but never have imagined to become a reality.
Heroes!
Defenders of japan and hosu city. Protectors of the innocent and the light that brings hope to all hearts of man, women, and children. They were so great and extraordinary people were inspired by them and were encouraged to become a hero themselves. However, there was one Hero that everyone looked up to the most, he was one that brought smiles to all souls that tremble in fear from villains, he was the pillar, the symbol of peace, and his name was All Might. In the eyes of evil he was unbeatable: his walls were so high there was almost no end to it. His strength and speed were overwhelming, never could they be matched with any hero nor villain; though society and the Internet still wondered what kind of quirk he had, the answer still remained unknown.
That is, until the number one hero All might, met a fifteen year old fanboy then shared with him the secret of his power: This young man had been quirkles since the age of six, he was someone that looked up to his number one hero as an idol and dreamed of becoming just like him, he studied all the heroes from A-to-B including their powers, he was very inspiring to his classmates and his name was Izuku Midoriya.
After the incident with the slime-monster and witnessing the boy’s brave stunt he knew then and there that he had found a successor with great potential. He offered the young man to inherit the power he willed witch was known as:
One for all.
Like carrying a sacred torch and then passing it down to another, and then another, as it’s passed down to a new user it grows stronger and the walls stretch higher then any tower in the world. Filled by determination he spent ten months of hell building his body up in order to inherit the power; as the final day arrived he completed his training and claimed his reward—by eating a curved yellow hair line. Disgusting indeed but besides that he inherited the power.
Many events had taken place since his first day at U.A. He met new friends with incredible quirks, they experienced their first encounter with the villains and fought them to the end. He lost his first tournament but learned a few lessons from it and his mentor.
He found ways of controlling One for all by using five percent as his limit; and in each of his battles the power within him slowly grew stronger but by what cause? Broken bones and permanent scars. Leading up to today he’s still striving on becoming a hero and beating any obstacles in any way he can, however, our young hero and his two friends have another adventure awaiting them. One that they’ll remember for a life-time.

Northeast China - Daxing'anling Larch
8:30PM
Katsuki Bakugou stared at the horizon with an expression of profound boredom on his face. He tried not to let it get to him, but sometimes waiting for a villain to show up felt like the most mind numbing job as a hero. Earlier today he and his two friends signed up for a mission to hunt down an unknown villain, he heard many rumors that this villain they’re looking for is dangerous and shouldn’t be underestimated. But after all his hardcore training he’s now prepared for anything that’ll be thrown at him.
“Ugh, this is boring. We’ve been sitting on our asses for almost two hours now and yet not one damn villain has showed up!” Bakugou complained, laying his back on a rock with his hands behind his head.
“We can’t lose our focus though Bakugou,” Todoroki said repositioning himself cross legged on a tree branch looking down at him, “Endeavor told us that if we drop even the slightest of our guard down we’ll lose him.”
“Shut up Icy-hot I know that!” Bakugou shouted up at him. Ignoring his responsive insult Todoroki turns his head to his other friend who stood behind Bakugou’s rock. With a book in hand, Midoriya was writing down what he learned through training.
“Let’s see if I go up like this it’ll probably do the trick,” he muttered under his breath, “But if I go too fast I might lose balance and miss my target; once we finish our mission I’ll have to continue practicing it in order to master it to its full potential, but I also have to make sure I don’t use my arms too much, I can’t risk breaking them then I already have. I don’t want to worry my Mom or All Might, I don’t think—”
“Midoriya?” Todoroki called, pulling his friend out from his deep mind of thoughts and back to reality.
“Yeah Todoroki?” Midoriya returned, glancing up at him.
“See anything from the field?” Todoroki asked.
“No not yet but I’ll let you know when I—” Izuku was about to finish until he felt small vibrations coming from his lower thigh. He tilts his head downward finding the source from within his right pocket, then reaches down and pulls out his phone. Facing the screen before him the phone comes to life revealing an image of the whole mapping area with three green dots in a triangular formation indicating him, and his friends as the green dots on the map.
But that wasn’t what got Izuku alarmed. His phone registered a heat bloom about a few yards from their current location. The red dot was moving fast passing through the trees as it pinged every second on the radar. There was no doubt who it was that’s running...
“Guys the villain’s here. Through the woods and he’s getting away!” Izuku shouted, pointing at the trees, “Let’s go!”
Immediately One for All erupted in a burst of emerald lightning around his entire body and Izuku’s eyes narrowed. The villain was on the move again and this time they’re right on his tail without him even realizing it. Bursting with speed, Izuku starts running straight towards the direction their target was going, with Bakugou and Todoroki following from behind. Many animals from all around were startled by the speed and blur of green bolts of lightning passing through the trees. On the right Bakugou was hopping from tree to tree blasting a few explosives from his palms. He let out a huff hating the thought to be left in second place, small twinkling sparks grew as the palm of his hands began lightening up before creating a boost sending him flying ten feet in the air and going as fast as the speed of light, the wind filled his ears and a smile formed around the corners of his lips as he did so.
Long tower size trees were bent over creating an opening for a large triangular block of ice to rise from the ground. Down on one knee on the tip was Todoroki driving it as a transporter to catch up with his friends. When the two rookies caught up with their leader Todoroki called from above. “Midoriya! Any ideas on how we should take him down?”
“Not yet,” Deku replied. “I haven’t studied how powerful his quirk is, so watch out for any tricks he might throw at us!”
Katsuki clicked his tongue before telling them clearly. “That bastard’s mine you hear me?! Once we catch up to him I’ll be the one who’ll take him down.”
“Kachan..” Said Midoriya turning to his right, his eyes meeting his profile, “It’s too risky to take him out on your own; we don’t know how powerful his quirk is, so we mustn’t underestimate him and be cautious. We need to think of a plan.”
“I know!” He shouted.
As the three pushed on their chase the black hooded target up ahead was darting his grey eyes from left and right his mind scrambling for ways of how to get away from those pesky heroes; and he’ll have to think of one quick for he can hear them drawing closer every minute—seconds even! Maybe he could kill them? No, bad idea there’s three of them and he’s only one; sure his quirk is strong but up against three opponents would drain his energy and will become reachable enough to be taken out so facing them head on is out of the question. Maybe he could blind them with another one of his tricks? No! That one won’t do either; they'll still find him either way and he has already used that trick twice so what makes him think they’ll fall for that again? Wait..? There is that. Yes, it’ll work, it’ll definitely work. A small smirk formed on the villain’s lips once he had made his decision. He began to slow down trying to act as realistically exhausted as possible.
Bakugou’s sharp eye noticed this as he and his team were beginning to reach him. ‘The bastard must be tired, huh?’ He thought to himself However he felt in his gut that something was wrong and before he could mention it to them he heard.
“Look! He’s slowing down. This is our chance!” Izuku’s excitement kicked in, then without thinking or hesitating his power boosted and he launched towards him.
“Midoriya wait!” Shouted Todoroki.
“You dumb-ass!” Shouted Bakugou.
When the villain heard this a smile rose from his lips. ‘What a fool...’ he thought to himself. Time seemed to slow down as his thumb slid down to the tips of his finger; and with one quick motion he snapped them and went blind from a light that radiated crazily from his fingers. It lasted for a good two minutes before it cleared out. He cautiously opened his eyes slowly, giving them time to adjust, then turned his body around to see if his plan was successful; and when he saw the sight before him he got his answer. Once before him the spot those three kids were standing was now replaced with a small bowl shaped quarter.
Just like that: they were gone. Although he couldn't help himself but asked exactly where he sent them?
“Auntie, what’s a Hero?” A young filly stared curiously at a book that she had borrowed from a friend of hers. "I’ll be your Hero!" Called by the title. The image of the book revealed a young stallion. Besides his head wearing full metal armor defending the princess who stares in worry for the boy while her protector stares back at his foe. A giant blue dragon. After studying this she turned to face the older mare, awaiting for an answer.
“Hmm let’s see...,” she tapped her hoof to her chin, “A Hero is someone who’s willing to risk everything to save a life; and they do it out of a pure heart too, not for money or fame. They just simply want to help and that’s what makes them true heroes in my book.” The older mare looked down at her scarf and stroked her hoof on it. “In-fact, I was once saved by one. Do you know who that is?”
The young filly shook her head. “No?”
“Your great grand-father.” She told the young filly.
The filly tilted her head. “He was your Hero?”
The older mare nodded. “Yes, He was everyone’s Hero. Which is why I want to tell you what my mother told me when I was your age,” The mare wrapped her hoof around the child’s back pulling her close to her. The filly leaned her head against the warmth of her body, resting against it. “You see child, every true Hero whether real or in stories carries a light, a light that brings hope, safety to all creatures and one that smashes the darkness that harms it. This light is passed down to generation—to generation; each wielding it for the sake of saving and protecting the lives of innocents.”
The little filly smiled happily, closing her eyes as she listened, the soft words of the older mare flowing through her ears. She couldn’t help but create an image in the back of her little mind of a silhouette of a pony with light shining bright around them. She wondered if she’ll ever have her own hero.
“So please remember this. One day when you feel like all hope is lost and you see darkness closing in from all corners. You will be saved—whether a pony, a griffin, a minotaur, that someone will be...”
Diamond tiara stared at the book in her hoof with an expression of profound disappointment on her face. She has never told anyone this but she has a grudge against tales of heroes Including those who she were told are "True Heroes," if that were true then why have they come not?
"Because they’re not real. They’re just myths to make all ponies and filly’s believe they are.." She thought harshly to herself while gently placing the book on the top shelf before rolling her body around and exited the library. While leaving she thought of what plans she should make for ponyville’s summer-art festival who’ll be hosted by the four princesses: The Princess of the sun, the princess of the moon, and the princess of friendship. Just the thought of them being there excites her something Tiara wouldn’t admit to any pony—especially those three trios.
“Tiara, there you are!” The Young mare’s ears perked up at the call of their voice. It didn’t take her a second to recognize who that belonged to, as she heard the sounds of hooves galloping from behind and when it grew closer it slowed down to her pace as there were now three filly’s walking beside her. The one on the left was a young yellow earth pony with a red mane and tail with a large pink bow over her head. Her cutie mark was shaped like a heraldic shield, the central image being an apple superimposed with a heart.
The other at the end was a white unicorn, from mane to tail they were streaks of pink and lavender. Her cutie mark was the same as the other with a different image, hers was a five pointed star with a musical note in it.
Finally the third, she had a short dark purple mane and tail that contrasted quite right with her orange coat. Like the other two she had the same shield shaped cutie mark, with a wing superimposed with a bolt of lightning, all done in three colors. Red, lavender, and purple. These three trios are perfect as a team when they’re together, and their names were Applebloom, Sweetiebelle, and Scootaloo: the cutie mark crusaders.
Tiara turned to Applebloom while making it clear to her and the other two. “Whatever it is you wanna tell me, make it quick. I’m a little busy.”
“Tiara we was wonderin’ if y'all could help us with our project for the summer art festival?” Asked Applebloom.
“Yeah we plan to make it our best one yet,” said Scootaloo, “and one that’ll shock even the princess!”
“So what do you say?” Sweetiebelle asked, looking at her with hopeful eyes.
Tiara raised a brow. “What exactly is it that you girls are making?”
“Well ah’m glad y'all ask. Me and the girls have been crafting a big statue of starswirl the bearded made out of diamond; we’ve got done with the legs, hooves and body but not the head so we thought we could use a helpin' hoof.” Applebloom explained as all four fillies moved to the side allowing a carriage to pass by them.
“We got permission from Princess Cadance to borrow one of her few diamond shards and she allowed us to take the biggest one; Incase you’re asking.” Scootaloo added.
Tiara decided to question them further. “And how long will it take to finish it?”
“It’ll be done right before the festival begins.” Sweetiebelle replied, throwing a hoof in the air with joy.
Before Diamond Tiara could even say “Well, I’m not sure...” her words were cut-instant when she saw that all three of the fillies were looking at her. Their lips quivered, and their eyes were close to a puppies eyes. Tiara has seen those once from Sweetiebelle but all together is really doing a number on her.
“Okay, okay! I’ll help if you promise not to make those stupid puppy-dog eyes anymore!” When she said this all the fillies cheered. It was settled and so she followed them towards the tree house. She let out a small sigh thinking in the back of her mind. “Friends... what can you do?”
The Everfree-Forest
Deep in the dank and eerie wilderness of the forest there were two young colt earth-ponies. Both of them were twins with the same black-grayish coat and long stylish light-brown mane and tail; the differences between the two they both share the same eye color from their parents, the brother to the right had blue eyes taking after his father, and the brother to the left his were light yellow he took that after his mother. Their names were Big-Ty & Cotton-bean. The twins were on their way to the exit while having a bit of an argument with each-other; a few hours ago the older brother had heard rumors of a treasure-chest buried somewhere in the everfree forest, within it has so much gold that it could make any mare or stallion rich.
When he heard this he wanted to invite his brother along to search for it, however his brother thought it was nonsense and that it was not worth his time to search for something that was too good to be true. Still Big-Ty persisted and after a minute of convincing him to tag-along he agreed; it didn’t take them long for them to reach for the entrance—once they made their way in they began their search for the hidden treasure, Big-Ty had many ideas on what he would do if they both found it, his mind filled with so many possibilities. After an hour of searching and digging through hole after holes, they found something. And when they did both twins were left speechless as what they'd found was not a treasure-chest—nor was it a pot of gold. All that was there was an old dusty shoe box.
This saddened Big-ty while his brother on the other hand was not quite happy at what he was seeing. Witch brings them to where they are now; with their continuous argument as they head through a single file towards the exit.
“Stupid rumors, I knew I should’ve stayed home...” Said Cotton under his breath.
Big-ty sighed. “Come on Cotton. How many times do I have to say it? I’m sorry..”
“If I hadn’t listened to you my time would’ve never been wasted! I was supposed to be finishing my new sculpture of Princess Luna, which took me two months to make and is close to finishing and would’ve been finished an hour ago now, would it? No—instead I had to come out here with you wandering around in the middle of the woods searching for some dumb chest all because of some stupid rumor!”
The young colt’s ears lowered behind his head before turning away from his brother. “I know...” Said Big-ty. When the young colt was about to change the subject, his ears perked up when he heard a soft sound of humming—while at the same time halting in his tracks. Left and right ty turned from each direction looking for the source, listening closely to life around the forest.
Cotton also stopped after noticing his twin wasn’t beside him. He turned to his shoulder, finding him moving his head from side to side. “Seriously, what’re you doing now?” Cotton asked under his breath rolling his body to approach him, “The summer art festival is about to begin and I don’t wanna be—”
Cotton was about to finish his sentence only for Ty to shove a hoof over his mouth giving a quiet. “Shh... listen.”
Not knowing what his brother was so on about he did as he was told and silenced himself.
‘Listen to what? I don’t hear anything..’ He thought to himself while scanning their surroundings. Suddenly Cotton heard the sound of humming coming from his right. At the same time they both turned to the source of that sound until it vanished instantly.
“Do you hear that?” Big-ty asked not to take his eyes off from the direction of the noise from earlier.
“Yeah, I hear it.” Cotton replied, nodding his head slowly.
Then before the two colts could say anything, another humming was heard. Every second it got louder & louder; the surrounding area they were in became engulfed in a bright white light. The twins looked up as that was where the humming was coming from and spotted a white ball-shaped portal right above the two, several meters above them. The white portal wasn't very big but the increasing brightness of its light was enough to worry them. So much so that they began to back themselves away from it.
They wanted to run away without looking back. While on the other half were too curious seeing how the sound emitting light was right above them and how long it was going to float there. As soon as they were going to hot-tail and run, within an instant the portable exploded. Big-ty and Cotton sealed their eyes shut by the blinding radiating light that passes through the ever-forest. It lasted for a good ten seconds until it faded leaving behind smoke in the whole area.
Cotton ventured to take a peek to see if it was safe then looked just in time to see his brother still by his side. But that wasn’t what increased his worries as he looked into his brother's eyes, as he saw a bit of fear in them. Cotton was about to ask until a small groan turned his attention to the sight where the light was last seen. It was hard for him to make up what he was seeing but behind the smoke were silhouettes of three unidentified creatures. Each side, one was laying on their backs; the other on their bellies, the third... was moving.
The twins watched as the creature groaned again, it tried to crack open its big round green eyes to see where it was. Doing so, it was greeted with the blind sight of smoke then it turned its head and their eyes met the twins. Not taking much more of this then they already have the twins turned and galloped out of there not daring to look if the creature was following them.
Izuku awoke with a groan. His head aching, throbbing mercilessly. His ears rang with a perpetual, pitched sound that was so high his hands grasped his head shaking slowly to ease the pain. He plants his forehead on the earth’s floor while continuing to shake the pain away. Luckily the throbbing began to fade-away along with the ringing in his ears. He sighed in relief that the awful storm of pain from his head had subsided. When he cracked his eyes open to try and see if he and his friends were still where they stood he was met with a wall of smoke that surrounded him from all sides. Wait, smoke? There wasn’t any smoke when he was still conscious; and not only that but where did the villain go? He took a turn to his right hoping to find a clearing but his eyes halted when they saw something beyond the fog.
They looked to be silhouettes of not one—but two small heads with big round eyes staring back at his. Realizing they’ve been spotted they vanish instantly before he could even say anything. “What was that?” Asked Izuku under his breath. Then Izuku flinched—it struck him like a bell being pulled back and forth when memories of the recent event started coming back together.
Their mission . . . the forest . . . and the villain.
Bakugou. . . Todoroki!
Filled with worry and piqued with concern he jolted fully awake quickly getting to his feet. He rolled his body from behind to where he last heard their shouts. Doing so, his heart calmed down then let out a relieved sigh at the sight before him. Young Bakugou and Todoroki were in good condition, no sign of injuries or bruises. Reassured that they’re alright he first walked towards his childhood friend who’s face and belly were on the ground.
He goes down on one knee, stretches his arm to reach for his shoulder then nudges it gently. “Kacchan? Kacchan, please wake up.” When Bakugou didn’t respond, he repeated himself a bit louder. This worked as he heard a muffled groan while also slapping Izuku’s hand off of him. He left him alone and headed over to Todoroki repeating the same process he did with Bakugou. This took time as the same merciless-pain that had come over to Izuku was now on them; and so he waited for it to ware off on them.
When it did they picked themselves up from the ground—still holding their heads. Todoroki was the first to ask. “Midoriya... are you alright?”
Izuku nodded. “Yeah. What about you, how’re you feeling?
“Felt worse but I’ll be okay.”
“Damn it!” Bakugou cursed, stomping his foot on the ground out of anger. “We almost had him, he was right there in our grasp. Did we not tell you to wait, damn Deku?!”
“Not sure about him..” Todoroki added.
Izuku backed up smiling nervously while rubbing his hand on the back of his nape. “Heh heh, I’m sorry,” he said, “I saw the opportunity right in-front of me and I thought I could grab him at arm's reach—”
“He was leading you to a trap and you fell for it. If you had listened, icy-hot over here could’ve just flanked him and frozen him from the spot; then I would’ve taken the turn to finish him off. But now he’s gone!”
While the hot-air head continued to shout at him Todoroki couldn’t help but notice something odd in the corner of his eye. The trees . . . did they always have scary faces in them? And the area they’re in doesn’t look familiar to him. ‘Something’s not right here..’ he thought to himself while scanning the whole area. ‘Did we go into a new path, or am I just dreaming..?’
