Eons have long since passed since the age of man and science. Now I wait in the middle of the distortion world, I waiting for the day I could escape. and reality would be very different for me as I venture into the unknown Looking for a place in the world, and maybe find love one day. it had been a few years since twilight came to ponyville and her many adventures with her friends. now a new threat arises from the shadows some new and some old. but could they handle the darkness that follows me with everystep i take ? my future uncertain and my path covered in shadows

From the void I came

Chapter 1: the arrival(edited)

I bet most of us would wish for a better world and life. But unfortunately for me, I made that wish that ended up coming true. I now floated in the middle of nowhere, others may call it the void. A stark white place that seems endless, in which it was pretty easy to lose track of time.

I didn't remember exactly when I met Garitina in the middle of nowhere. He told me this white void was called or rift. The and he spoke of his human world, which was filled with Pokémon and humans . He even taught me some shadow magic over the years, but again no time passed here. Many centuries could have gone by and I wouldn't have noticed.

But, the worst part wasn't being stuck here, it was being stuck here alone with my emotional baggage for hours on end. With no distractions, such as video games or the internet, for that matter, there was nothing but total nothingness. One day, or whatever time it was outside this void, a mirror portal opened up in this empty place. What I saw was the most beautiful creature with four hooves. Her coat was white as snow, and her mane was pink along with her tail. What caught me off guard was the fact that she had a white horn on her head. It spiraled towards the sky. She also had feathered "wings," which I dare to say looked like those of an angel. On her flank was the image of a yellow sun.

I watched as she walked with her advisors, talking about what I assumed were matters of state. But when I looked behind her, and spotted her younger sister that looked lonely, vastly different in color scheme and body type, which reminded me of the night. Then the image blurred for a moment as I saw them approaching me.

(Outside the mirror)

Celestia was first to approach the mirror artifact that was delivered just a day prior, with its origins unknown for the time being. She scanned it with a simple spell that allowed her to test.

" It would seem this artifact is ancient.......But we can't be sure of its origin," Celestia said as Luna came closer to get a better look.

As Luna approached, a hand print showed up on the mirror. And then a knock came surprising them both as writing began to appear like when a window fogs up during cold weather.

"Let me out, please." Luna read out loud as she reached her sister's side. They both looked at each other before she came towards the magic mirror that seemed to be the only way out.

"I would advise against that, your highness. We don't know what we are dealing with. For all we know, whoever or whatever this is could be dangerous. " The royal advisor said, stepping In front of Luna just as more writing appeared.

“Do you have any idea how long I’ve been stuck in here ….” I was growing frustrated with these ponies. I was desperate for freedom. Desperate to feel the sun on my skin again, and Experience life once more. But it seemed one of them was unwilling to give me that chance. I watched as the elder sister walked towards the mirror, stopping mere inches from me.

“Do you intend harm upon our subjects?” Princess Celestia asked with a serious tone and expression.

“No, I don't. I just want to live out in the world again. I want to live,” I wrote in hopes she would listen. I watched as her horn ignited with magic the color of the sun. She touched her horn to the mirror’s surface and the portal was open. As I began stepping through it and felt the soft red carpet beneath my feet one after another I stepped out of my prison.

My skin felt tingly as I felt the magic of the portal fading away. I let out shallow breaths as I opened my eyes and looked around this stone gothic castle. I looked at the arched ways and windows and my eyes soon landed on the princesses and the younger sister seemed to be blushing.

I Looked down and saw that I was no longer wearing any clothes. I groaned in annoyance as I summoned my magic to create black robes over my body. I looked back at them and apologized for the in convenience.

“That aside, what do you intend to do now?” Princess Celestia asked debating on whether or not to let me leave or send me back through the mirror.

“See how much has changed since I’ve been gone, maybe hone my magic. Why do you ask?” I asked noticing the magic on her horn growing brighter by the second. I stepped away from the mirror, not wanting to be sent back there to that endless white space.

“The fact that you just used dark magic makes me think otherwise. I can't risk you becoming a threat. Not after the empire just disappeared,“ Celestia said, walking towards me with a threating glare to burn me where I stood.

“Please……I don’t want to go back there!!!” I pleaded as I looked at the mirror rift vanished just as I got blasted into the wall behind the thrones and The star shaped gem fell out of causing me to turn to stone.

Luna gasped in horror at the damage and burns to my body before I turned to stone. Then she turned to her sister once I was out of sight, she ran over to her sister’s side, hoping to calm her down long enough to get some answers.
“Sister……..” Luna said with worry and fear of what Celestia’s actions could implicate for the future.

“I couldn’t risk her turning on us Luna” Celestia panted.

Elsewhere :

It was cold and dark, but wherever I was. It was not safe for I sensed darkness. I could barely move, and to top it all off, I had no idea where I was now. I only knew my future was now uncertain and filled with danger.

“She got out a lot earlier then I had planned……..but I can work with this,” Dracula said smirking.

darkest before the dawn

Dark is the night before dawn, so much had changed since I made that wish over so many centuries ago. And a thousand years later frozen in time as a stone statue waiting for the day or night, I would be free. Only in a time of turmoil was I released by a band of rebels, months after the newest princess was crowned. But they got more then they barraged for.
Across equestria a roar of the deepest despair was heard with in the dream scape, as if a lost soul was morning the loss of what was. It woke all who heard it were stirred from their slumber in a cold sweat, even princess Celestia felt a terrible darkness spreading over the world.
The world laid in ruins; chaos ruled over the land months after Equesatria’s happiest day. I now walked the land in search of the very creature that set me on this dark path. But as to where he was at this given moment remained unknown.

Location: ever free forest

So many years wasted and now here I was traveling through a dark and twisted forest, I swore a cockatrice a few trees back. But luckily it did not see so I was safe from being turned to stone. I couldn’t help but wonder with onset of oncoming dread that something with in this forest knew I was here yet nothing happened. As I made my way through the dark forest I came upon the ruins of an old castle, memories of being with Dracula flooded my mind as I made way over to the rope bridge. I remembered How we had met; it was at a convention in Transylvania but that was so very long ago. I barely remembered much from back then aside from I had family but for the most part my memories were a blur.
I could worry about him later granted I didn’t run into him again. And there it was just as I remembered it from all those years ago in a different time. Though it was worse for wear after a thousand years, I made my way to the bridge. I began to reflect as I started across the bridge, the choices I made stepping into the world of darkness and magic. His world one where the sun light can’t ever hope to reach it, yet I find myself wondering why was I drawn to him a creature of the night. Perhaps I just felt out of place among my kind, and wanted something more then what the human world had to offer.

I let out a sigh as I began to walk across, what amazed me was how well I had adapted to walking on four hooves. The wooden planks creaked underneath my hooves; I began to wonder just what I was meant to do now. My entire world had been shattered along with my perception of reality during my stay in the distortion world made sure of that. It took me awhile to adjust. But with the arrival of Garitina or rather when he found me everything changed. I finally had someone to talk to and share tales of my life, such as my regrets and desires.

I made it across and looked up at the old castle before I went inside , in hopes I would be safe for the night . I walked towards the throne room, where I saw their thrones still standing but worn down by time. I looked over at Celestia's throne …………searing anger rose with in me. I started walking towards her throne. Dark magic came to life on my horn as I obliterated Celestia's old throne out of spite and anger. I had failed to notice I wasn’t alone, but that didn’t last long as I sensed someone else with dark magic standing behind me.
I turned around to see a pale unicorn in a opera mask, the way he was dressed in dark clothing cascaded over His form made him seem like a ghost or rather a phantom. As if he was not truly there, yet there he stood towering over me merely watching me from behind that mask. It felt like there was dead silence with in this dark throne room as we both remain unmoving as the world around us stood still. I flinch as he took a step towards me. I wanted to run but yet I was unable to or for the matter of fact look away from him. It was like he had me in a trance, as he stopped right in front of me.
He made me look into his eyes which seemed to be the same color as my eyes , blue but his was more pale adding to his ghostly presence. But as I looked deeper into his eyes I saw darkness and loneliness, but most of all it felt like he was trapped in his own hell with out a heart to feel joy. The longer I looked it made my heart break seeing someone else just as lonely as I was. he then spoke breaking the silence between us.

“ mademoiselle “ Phantom asked looking back into my eyes as I looked into his.

“Yes?” I respond quickly.

“Why are you here? “He asked in a tone that felt dark and empty as his heart.

I took a deep breath as the weight on my lungs felt heavy with fear and Anticipation of what he might say or do next.

“Shelter for the night” I said in a soft tone before I silently gulped.

“No doubt to hide from the predators, be as that may my dear. You have stepped into my domain there for I can not allow you to leave” his tone became harsh and cold as if he was trying to intimidate me into submission. But what I did next, he did not expect me to be brave as I took a step towards him in defiance.

“Careful whom you threaten, I have been alive for far too long to allow you or anyone for that matter to stand In my way. And I would rather not have to spill blood upon my escape from my stone prison for over a thousand years. “I said in a brave tone. But I was met with cruel laughter as he Knocked me off my hooves with a single magic blast square in the chest sending me into Luna’s old throne It crumbled under the force of the blast plus me.

“Hmhmhmhm, some pony thinks highly of their skills” I heard as I picked my self-groaning in pain from the fall and being hit by magic.

When I looked back to where he thought he would still be, he was gone. I rolled onto my belly and got up feeling very sore. I could still sense him with in the throne room, was he waiting for me to make a move. I walked down the steps from the thrones I walked towards the castle doors and so far he had not reappeared. I would have to come back a different time to really explore this place.
