Twilight is reading a book on the floor in her library. Y/N opens the door and runs to Twilight. Y/N is a 8 year old Earth-pony and also Twilight's adopted son.

Y/N is infront of Twilight, she looks at him. "Can you take me to Didney Worl?" Y/N asked. Y/N was very bored being in the castle all the time.

"Didney Worl? But that's all the way in Las Pegasus, Y/N."

"Yeah, so can you take me?" Y/N asked again.

Twilight wanted to finish reading her book and she also had to deal with her other work too. "Sorry Y/N but I can't."

"WHY?!" Y/N shouted. He wanted a good reason.

"I'm busy right now sweetie. Why don't you play with Starlight?"

"NO! She doesn't even want to play with me." Y/N lied. He had been playing with Starlight all the time since Spike was in Canterlot helping Princess Celestia.

Starlight is walking in the hallway calling for Y/N. "Y/N! Where are you?! Y/N?!" Starlight kept searching.

Starlight sees the library door open, she goes into the library and finds Y/N with Twilight. Both of them look at Starlight.

"Oh there you are Y/N! Come on let's play. We'll go fly a kite together." Starlight said.

Twilight looks back at Y/N. "Doesn't want to play with you huh."

"She doesn't..." Y/N responded.

"Oh Y/N you're being silly again. Let's go." Starlight takes Y/N's hoof.

"But I want to go to Didney Worl today!" Y/N shouts.

"How about we go next time?" Starlight said.

Y/N pulls his hoof away from Starlight. "No! I wanna go right now!" Y/N was getting upset.

"Oh boy..." Twilight knows how Y/N is feeling right now.

Starlight explains to Y/N. "It's too far away kiddo. We can go on your birthday."

"But it's going to take forever until it's my birthday." Y/N did not want to wait.

"Y/N your birthday is next month." Twilight responded.

"SEE! That's too long to wait. I wanna go now!" Y/N is angry.

Twilight gets an idea. "Hey Y/N I have something that's better than Didney Worl."

Y/N was confused. "What could be better than Didney World? It's Didney Worl."

"Why don't you go on a little quest? If you complete it you'll get a prize."

Y/N starts getting happy. "Is it Didney Worl?!"

"...I don't know. Maybe?" Twilight didn't want to spoil the surprise. "Look just wait here and I'll get that quest ready for you ok."

Y/N agreed. "Okay fine! I better get Didney Worl when I'm done."

*1 hour later*

Twilight brings a piece of paper. "Ok Y/N I have your quest ready!"

Y/N had been playing chess with Starlight while Twilight was making the quest.

Y/N drops a chess piece. "Finally! I hate playing chess!"

Starlight wins the chess game. "And checkmate. I won again, wanna do another round Y/N?"

Y/N flips the board. "NO! I hate you!"

"I love you too Y/N." Starlight responds.

"Y/N please be nice!" Twilight said.

Y/N didn't care. "I missed the part where that's my problem."

Twilight sighs and reveals the paper. "Let me show what you have to do."

Twilight shows Y/N a bunch of drawings of items. "First, you need to get a cupcake at Sugarcube Corner, it can be any cupcake. Next, you need a blanket at the Carousel Boutique, again it can be any blanket. And finally, you need a apple from Sweet Apple Acres. You need to get all 3 items before you return. If you bring all 3 of them to me then you'll get your prize."

"That's it? This is gonna be so easy!" Y/N is very confident.

"But before you go take this." Twilight gives Y/N a bag of bits.

"Why do I need this?" Y/N questioned.

"This will allow you to get each of the items." Twilight said.

"Ok then. Gotta go fast! Didney Worl here I come!" Y/N runs out of the library.

"Have fun sweetie!" Twilight shouts.

Y/N quickly leaves the castle and heads straight towards Sugarcube Corner.

"That should keep him busy for a while." Twilight opens her book.

"Hey Twilight can we talk for a sec?" Starlight said.

Twilight looks at Starlight. "Sure Starlight, what is it?"

"Am I a good aunt to him? I try my best to make sure he's loved and cared for."

"Of course you are Starlight. That's why Y/N loves you."

"Really? When he says he hates me I don't know if he really does."

"Oh he's just being silly as always. Y/N truly loves you Starlight. Sometimes he just doesn't know how to tell the truth you know."

"But I've never heard him say that he loves me."

"He will one day."

Y/N is running fast. He runs straight into Sugarcube Corner bumping into the counter.

"Ouch!" Y/N rubs his head. "I made it!"

Pinkie Pie comes to the counter and sees Y/N. "Hi Y/N! What can I get for youuu today?" Pinkie likes having Y/N around.

"Auntie Pinkie Pie quick! I need a cupcake!" Y/N said super fast.

"Okie dokie! What flavor do you want?"

"I don't know?" Y/N sees one he likes "Oh wait I want a chocolate one!" He points at the chocolate cupcake.

Pinkie Pie gets the chocolate cupcake. "That will be 2 bits please!"

" Two?" Y/N opens the bag of bits and starts counting. "One...two..."

Pinkie Pie enjoys watching Y/N count. "Aww Y/N you're so CUTE!"

Y/N gives the two bits to Pinkie Pie and she gives him the chocolate cupcake.

"Thanks, gotta go now!" Y/N runs to the door.

"Y/N wait!" Y/N stops and looks at Pinkie Pie. "Why are you in a rush? Did you eat all the candy in the pantry again? Pinkie Pie questions.

"Not today, but I'm doing a quest and if I get all the items I need and bring it back to Mom I get to go to Didney Worl!"

"Disney Worl!" Pinkie Pie jumps. "Can I go?!"

"Sure!"

Pinkie Pie grabs Y/N and puts him on her back. "Then let's go!"

"What about your job?"

"Don't worry about it! I need a vacation anyways! Where to next Y/N?"

"We need to go to auntie Rarity's house."

Pinkie Pie takes Y/N to the Carousel Boutique. "We're here!"

"Can you hold my cupcake for me auntie Pinkie Pie?"

"Sure. Anything for you~!"

Y/N gives Pinkie Pie the cupcake. Y/N goes up to the Boutique and knocks on the door very fast. "FBI OPEN UP!!!"

Rarity opens the door. "Y/N darling I knew I heard your voice, what brings you here?"

"Actually I brought him here!" Pinkie Pie says.

"Oh that makes sense."

"I need a blanket auntie!" Y/N says quickly.

"It's an emergency!" Pinkie Pie adds.

"Alright" Rarity brings out a bunch of blankets with her magic. "What color do you want darling?"

"Just give me that purple one!" Y/N points at the blanket.

Rarity uses her magic and puts the purple blanket over Y/N. "That will be four bits darling."

"That's a big number..." Y/N didn't want to count to the number four but he did it anyways. Y/N takes out the bag of bits and starts counting. "One...two...three...four..."

Rarity likes Y/N counting. "Adorable."

"Right!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Ok Here!" Y/N gives the four bits to Rarity.

"Thank you Darling."

"Time to go now auntie Pinkie Pie!"

"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie Pie puts Y/N on her back. Y/N holds his cupcake again.

"Wait! Why are you two in such a hurry?" Rarity questions.

Y/N explains to Rarity. "Mom gave me a quest to do and if I finish it I get to go to Didney Worl!"

"Didney Worl! Why that's wonderful dear. Can I come along?"

"Sure why not, auntie Pinkie Pie is coming!"

Y/N, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity head to Sweet Apple Acres.

"Here we are, Sweet Apple Acres!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Where's auntie Applejack?" Y/N questions.

Rarity sees AppleJack. "Oh there she is!" Points at AppleJack.

The three of them walk to AppleJack's stand. Applejack is selling apples. "Howdy everypony. What are y'all doin' here?"

"Quick auntie Applejack give me an apple!" Y/N demanded.

"Alrighty then. That'll be 2 bits sugarcube." AppleJack grabs a apple.

Y/N is frustrated. "This is the last time I'm counting!" He takes out the bag of bits one last time and starts counting. "One...two..."

"Y/N sure is cute when he's countin'" AppleJack said.

"That's what we said!" Pinkie Pie tells her.

"Here!" Y/N gets the apple and Applejack gets the bits. Y/N has all the items he needs. "Now I gotta get these three items to Mom fast!"

"Woah slow down sugarcube. What does Twilight want with those three items? AppleJack questions.

Y/N quickly explains to AppleJack. "Mom is gonna take me to Didney Worl when I give all three of these to her!"

"Didney Worl? Can I tag along?" AppleJack wonders.

"Sure let's just hurry!" Y/N and the others go to Twilight's castle.

Twilight yawns. "And done...thats enough reading for today."

Starlight walks to Twilight. "Hey Twilight when is Y/N going to get back? I'm starting to get worried about him."

"Don't worry he should be--"

Y/N slams the door open. "Didney Worl!!!" Y/N shouts.

Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Applejack shout at the same time. "Didney Worl!!!"

"Hey hey! What's going on?!" Twilight questions.

"I got all the items like you said Mom, so now we get to go to Didney Worl!" Y/N said.

"Whoo hoo! Didney Worl!" Pinkie Pie said.

"I didn't say you were going to get Didney Worl. I said you were going to get a prize." Twilight reminds Y/N.

"And it's Didney Worl!"

"No it's...this." Twilight gives Y/N a box of crayons. "Oooh see isn't this great!"

"...Where's Didney Worl?" Y/N says in a low tone.

"Yeah, Didney Worl?" AppleJack said.

"There is no Didney Worl." Twilight tells them.

Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Applejack leave the castle slowly.

Y/N makes a angry face. "So your telling me...I did all of this...for crayons?..."

"Uh yeah." Twilight said.

Y/N doesn't say anything.

"Y/N?"

Y/N doesn't say anything for a few seconds and then he gets really mad. "WHAT THE--"

It's night time now and Y/N is laying in his bed wearing the purple blanket he got today. Twilight goes next to his bed.

"Y/N, sweetie I couldn't take you to Didney Worl today." Twilight tells him.

Y/N doesn't say anything and stays quiet.

"Look I love you ok. Me and Starlight both love you. But we couldn't go to Didney Worl today. I'm too busy with work and everything."

Y/N finally says something. "I hate you..."

"Y/N...I promise to take you on your birthday ok."

Y/N doesn't say anything again.

Twilight sighs. "Goodnight Y/N." She kisses Y/N's forehead. "Sweet dreams."

Y/N turns away from Twilight.

Twilight leaves the room and closes the door. "I wish I could do more for him. If I wasn't a princess I'd definitely be more of a good mother."

Starlight is holding a book and walks to Twilight in front of Y/N's bedroom door.

"Oh is he already asleep?" Starlight wonders.

"Uh...yeah, he is." Twilight said.

"Aww I guess I'll read him a bedtime story tomorrow night then." Starlight begins walking away.

"Hey Starlight."

Starlight turns around to face Twilight. "What is it Twilight?"

"Am I a good Mom to him?"

"Of course you are Twilight, he loves you. Even though he couldn't go to Didney Worl today, at least you made that quest for him to do."

"I should've spent time with him on that quest instead of reading a book."

"Yeah, but hey don't worry on his birthday we can actually take him to Didney Worl."

"I guess so. Goodnight Starlight, I'll head to bed early tonight."

"Goodnight then Twilight."
