Chapters Pain was the first thing that I felt after being blasted by that too colorful rainbow. I opened my eyes and saw a strange creature looking at me with a scared expression. I said, “Where am I?”
The creature didn’t answer. Instead, it looked surprised. It said, “Y-you can talk?”
I asked, “What’s so surprising about that?”
It replied, “I’ve never seen a talking pony with a horn, and glowing eyes.”
I said, “I can talk. I asked you a question slave. Where in Tartarus am I?”
It answered, “In England.”
I asked, “What is England?”
It said, “A country in earth.”
I asked, “What is ‘Earth’?”
“The planet we’re on now.”
“Who are you?”
“Esmeralda.”
“How many others of your kind are there?”
“Lots.”
“Good. Now I can kill you without endangering the Esmeralda population.”
“Esmeralda is my name.”
“Then what creature are you?”
“A human girl.”
“Fine then, ‘human Esmeralda’, I will kill you.”
“Why are you going to kill me?”
“You ask too many questions.”
“But I don’t want to die.”
“You have no choice.”
“I’ll give you pizza.”
I asked, “What is ‘pizza’?”
The creature looked shocked, “You mean you never heard of it before?”
“Equestria never had such a thing.”
It asked, “What is Equestria?”
“The place where I came from. It’s full of talking ponies.”
“Are there unicorns there?”
“Lots.”
It’s eyes became as big as a ball, “Can they do magic?”
“Yes. When will you get this ‘pizza’?”
“I’ll get it now.”
The Esmeralda walked into another room and came back with a flat square box. She opened the box and showed me the circle inside. Then, she cut it and gave me a piece of the circle. I took it and looked at the strange thing on my hoof.
She said, “Eat it.”
“But it looks strange.”
“Take a bite. I’m sure you’ll love it.”
“But…”
“Trust me.”
“After you take a bite.”
“Ok.”
I watched the Esmeralda start eating the ‘pizza’. After seeing that nothing happened to her, I started eating. The triangle tasted good, and it had some stretchy stuff on it. A few seconds later, the rest of the circle was in my stomach.
The Esmeralda looked at me. I asked, “Why are you staring at me like that?”
“You ate the whole pizza.”
“It’s not my fault that the circle with stretchy stuff tasted good.”
“It’s called pizza, and the stretchy stuff is cheese.”
“I want more.”
“But I don’t have anymore.”
“Then get more.”
“But the pizza shop is shut now.”
“Then open it.”
“But it’s not my shop.”
“But I want more.”
She said, “I already told you. I don’t have any more pizza, and the pizza shop is shut.”
“I don’t care if it’s shut. I want more.”
“I DON’T have any more pizza.”
I ordered her, “I am your king, and I am ordering you to get more pizza. If you don’t, then I will find a different slave and kill you.”
“I am NOT your slave, and you are NOT my king.”
I said, “You are my slave and I am your king.”
She asked, “Why do you think that?”
I told her, “Because it’s true.”
“I’ll only get more pizza if you promise not to kill me.”
“Fine.”
“And promise not to break that promise.”
“Fine. Now get some more of those circles with stretchy stuff.”
The Esmeralda got a rectangle out of her pocket and pushed a button.
I asked her, “What is that?”
“My phone.”
I watched the Esmeralda click on the bright picture, and tap a few things. Then she put the rectangle near her ear and started talking.
“Hi. I wanted to know if your shop is still open.”
“You mean it’s not open?”
“But…”
“Fine.”
Then, she put the rectangle down and said, “The pizza shop is shut.”
“But I want more of those warm circles.”
“There might be some pizza left in the fridge, but if you want it, you have to answer all my questions, and let me feel you.”
“Anything for warm circles.”
“Here’s my first question. What is your name?”
“King Sombra.”
“If you are a king, what did you use to rule?”
“The Crystal Empire.”
“What is the Crystal Empire?”
“A city in Equestria made out of crystals.”
“What is in the Crystal Empire?”
“Crystal ponies, crystal hearts, lots of crystals, snow, ice, and love.”
“Did the ponies there like you?”
“They hated me.”
“Why?”
“I forced them to be my slaves, and I killed them if they didn’t do what I said. For fun, I tortured and killed them.”
“Why did you do that?”
“For revenge.”
“Oh. If you rule the ‘Crystal Empire’, then why are you here?”
“I got sent here by a rainbow.”
The Esmeralda went to another room, and I followed her. She opened a metal box that had cold air inside and moved a few things. Then, she got two flat square boxes and put the other things back.
She shut the cold box and we went back to the other room. She put the boxes on the table, and opened them. Then, she gave me a piece of the circle.
I ate it, and it was cold. “Why isn’t this circle warm?”
“Because I got it out of the fridge.”
“That cold box?”
“It’s called a fridge.”
“I want warm circles, not cold ones.”
“Can’t you make it warm with your magic?”
“I’ll try.”
My horn glowed with magic and the circles were on fire. I quickly turned them into ice, so that they wouldn’t get burnt.
The Esmeralda looked at the frozen circles, and then at me. I asked, “What?”
She pointed at the frozen circles and said, “That, is even worse than what we started with. We could eat cold pizza, but we can’t eat ice pizza.”
“Then unfreeze it.”
“You did the spell. So, you have to undo it.”
“The circles wouldn’t be frozen if you just went and made them hot.”
“I guess that is true.”
“Now go and warm them.”
The Esmeralda took the circles to the room that the cold box was in and then put them in a rectangle metal box. The box had some buttons.
The Esmeralda pressed some buttons, and then put the circles in there. I watched as the ice melted, and the circles became warm.
After ten long minutes, the Esmeralda pushed some buttons and then took the circles out.
She went to the room that we were in before, and I followed her. Then she put the circles on the table and cut them into pieces.
She gave me a plate and put the piece on it.
She said, "Be careful. It's very hot."
I ignored her and put the piece on my hoof, ready to eat it.
But as soon as I touched it, I dropped it back onto the plate.
I blew on my hoof and said, "I wanted warm circles, not burning hot ones."
She just said, "That's why I told you to be careful."
"Make my circles not so hot."
"Use your magic."
"You saw what happened the last time that I used magic on these circles."
"I did."
"Then why won't you make them a bit cooler?"
"You didn't ask nicely."
"Then how about this? I, King Sombra order you to make these circles colder."
"You are NOT a king."
"If you do what I told you, then when I become the king of earth, I will make you be my favourite slave. And I won't punish you that much."
"That wasn't asking nicely."
"If that wasn't asking nicely, then I don't know what asking nicely is."
"Say please."
"No way!"
"You've been talking so much, I bet your 'circles' have cooled down by now."
I touched one circle and it wasn't that hot. Then, I stuffed it in my mouth and ate it.
The next thing I did was, jump onto the table and eat the big circle that was in the box.
By the time I finished, my muzzle was covered in red stuff and bits of pizza.
The Esmeralda finished eating her parts of the circle and said, "You need a wash."
Then, she picked me off the table and took me to a room that had a big rectangle in it.
She turned the tap on and put a plug in the bath.

The Esmeralda left the room to get a few things. The water in the bath was hot , and my fur was covered with bubbles. I didn’t like that, so I tried to get out.
I was nearly out of the bath when my hoof slipped, and I fell back in the bath. I tried again, but the same thing happened. I would never give up trying, so I tried again. This time, I was nearly out when the Esmeralda came and said, “Sombra? Why are you getting out of the bath? It’s only been five minutes.”
I screamed and fell back in. I glared at her. This time I was nearly out, and all because of her I fell in.
I told her, “I don’t like the bath. It’s too hot, and it has too many bubbles. Take me out!”
All she said was, “Stay in there for longer, and you’ll love it.”
“Are you refusing an order from the King?”
"I said this a thousand times, and I'll say it again. You are NOT a king."
"I am the king of Shadows."
"Fine then, Mr. King Of Shadows, I will NOT take you out of the bath."
"You will."
"Will not."
"I'll show you. When I find a way back to Equestria, I will take you there and show you that I am a King."
"Well, I'll just wait for that day."
"And you will regret that you didn't listen to me."
She said, "Hmm..." and then got a bottle. She opened it, and put some gel-like stuff on my fur.
I asked her, "What is that?"
She replied, "It's some shampoo."
"What does this 'shampoo' do?"
She said, "It'll make you smell nice."
The Esmeralda got more of the stuff and covered my mane in it. I said, "Stop doing that stuff."
"I won't stop. You need to smell nice."
"If I don't want to smell nice?"
The Esmeralda said, "Then I'll take you to the vet."
I asked, "What is a 'vet'?"
She replied, "A vet is a person who makes talking ponies be quiet. And after making them quiet, she takes the pony's magic away."
"If you take me to a vet, I'll... I'll..."
"You'll do what?"
"I'll... I'll lock you in a dungeon."
"If you keep talking so much, I'll drown you."
"You wouldn't dare."
"I would."
"Then I'll freeze the water."
"And you'll be stuck in ice."
"You won't be able to drown me then."
"And you won't be able to eat any 'warm circles.'"
I opened my mouth to say something, but then I shut it after realizing that she was right.
Half an hour later, the Esmeralda pulled something out of the bath, and all the water went down the drain.
I said, "Why are you ending my bath?"
She replied, "You've been in there for an hour."
I screamed, "Nopony dares end the King's bath."
"You are not a king. Understand?"
"I am a KING."
"You should be lucky that I didn't call a zoo to take you as soon as I saw you. They'd love to have a talking pony who thinks that he is a king. Instead of taking you there, I kept you and let you eat all of my pizza."
“If I come out of the bath, then you have to give me warm circles.”
“If you come out, then I will.”
“Ok.”
The Esmeralda washed my fur and mane, and then she took me out of the bath. She left and came back with a strange thing in her hands. I asked, “What is that thing?”
“It’s a hair dryer.”
“And what does a ‘hair dryer’ do?”
“It blows warm air out.”
“Won’t it burn my fur?”
“I said warm air, not burning hot air.”
Not wasting another second, the Esmeralda turned the ‘hair dryer’ on and warm air came out. She dried me, and then turned it off. Then, she took me out of the bathroom and into the same room that we were in before.
Esmeralda’s P.O.V:
After I finished drying Sombra, I took him to my living-room and put him down on the sofa. Then, I put my school bag on the table and took my English book out so that I could revise for my test.
I opened my book and then I started revising. I only read one line when Sombra came and said, “What are you doing?”
I told him, “I’m revising for my test.”
He asked, “What type of test?”
“An English test, at school.”
“Oh.”
I said, “I’d like it if you would sit on the sofa, and not move.”
“Ok.”
Sombra went and sat on the sofa, and I continued revising. A few seconds later, Sombra came and tapped me.
I asked, “What do you want, Sombra?”
“You will call me King Sombra.”
“Fine then, King Sombra. What do you want?”
He said, “I’m cold.”
“And what should I do about that?”
“Give me a blanket.”
“Use your magic to get it.”
He asked, “And where is it?”
I told him, “In my bedroom.”
“And how would I know where that is?”
I gave him directions. “Go to the second floor, and you’ll see a room that says ‘Esmeralda’s room’ in gold letters. Open the door, go inside and you’ll see a blue blanket on my bed. Take it.”
He said, “Ok.”, and then he started walking up the stairs. He came back a few seconds later, and ten asked me, “Where’s my armor and cape? And my crown?”
I told him, “They’re on the sofa, if you can’t see.”
I heard him walk to the sofa and put his things on. I was about to turn the page when I heard, “Esmeralda? Could you help put my things on?”
I asked, “Can’t you do it yourself?”
“I can’t.”
“Then how did you put it on before?”
He answered. “You think that I actually put my own clothes on? I never did. I had thousands of slaves to do it for me. So help me now.”
I sighed and shut my book. Then, i walked to Sombra and put his things on him. Then, I sat on my chair and re-opened my book and started reading.
This time I got to read twenty pages when Sombra broke my concentration. Again. He said, “Take my clothes off.”
I asked, “Why?”
He said, “I’m going to sleep.”
I took his things off and then went back to my revising. Sombra said, “Wrap me in my blanket.”
“Do it yourself.”
“But I don’t want to.”
“You know what, Sombra? You are the laziest pony ever.”
All he said was, “I know.”
I got off my chair and wrapped Sombra in MY blanket.
I asked Sombra, "If you're so LAZY, how did you ever manage to ENSLAVE a whole city?"
Sombra replied, "By putting FEAR into their hearts. Now let me sleep."
I went back to revising.
I started reading, and I heard Sombra snoring. I decided to ignore his snores and kept reading.
Half an hour later I couldn't bear to listen to Sombra's loud snores, and woke him up.
He asked, "Why did you wake me up?"
"You snore too LOUD. I need to REVISE. I have a TEST tomorrow."
"I don't snore. Kings NEVER snore."
"Trust me. You snore louder than my brother, and he snores very LOUD ."
"Then how come I can't hear him snoring?"
I told Sombra, "Because I told him to get his own house."
"How do you know that you didn't hear his snores?"
"Because he lives in America with his wife."
"Oh. I do NOT snore."
"If you DON'T snore, then be quiet in your sleep."
"Fine."
Sombra covered his face with MY blanket and then I stayed next to him for a few minutes to make sure that he wouldn't start snoring again. After that, I went back to my chair and started revising.
I was in the middle of reading when I heard Sombra say, "You're NO match for me. I will finally RULE the Crystal Empire."
I turned around and saw that he was still wrapped in the blanket. So now I have a snoring, sleep talking, former tyrant king pony, living with me.
Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, I forgot to be lazy.
He kept talking, "Wait, with you out of the way, I will rule ALL of Equestria."
"Oh yes, and I think I know exactly where I'll start. Your sweet little home town."
"Or what? Without your elements, it'll be so easy to control you. But there's no point. My conquering Ponyville is already your greatest fear."
And then he laughed.
I decided to get my headphones and listen to some music to block out Sombra's voice. But his laughing was louder.

I woke up and saw that it was 08:45 AM. I was going to be late for school.
I jumped off my chair and... Wait, chair? That meant I fell asleep while I was revising and never finished.
What would I do in the test?
Maybe I would be able to get a few minutes to revise before class.
Now, I have to get ready.
After putting my uniform on, and doing morning things, I was about to run outside when I realized that I forgot my bag.
I ran back inside to get it and saw Sombra sitting there, with my headphones, and my book.
"What are you doing, Sombra?"
"I'm revising for your test. They should really make these words bigger."
"Why are YOU revising for MY test?"
"Last night while I was sleeping, you made it sound important, so I decided to revise for you. By the way, this stuff I'm listening to is really good. What's it called?"
"It's called music, Sombra, and thanks for trying to revise for me, but that won't help."
"Why won't it?"
"Because I'm going to write the answers and you can't come to my school. Pets are NOT allowed. Talking ponies aren't allowed either."
I saw the smile on his face fall.
"Oh."
"I really need to get going now, so I'll see you later. Bye."
I took my bag and ran to school.
~Chapter-03: MY SENSITIVE EARS!!!!!~
Sombra's P.O.V:
After Esmeralda ran out with her bag, I continued dancing to the music.
When the next song started, it was too loud for my sensitive ears.
I took the thing off my head and tried to make it quieter, but the music got louder.
I could now hear it without putting the thing on my head. I covered my ears in an attempt to block out the music, but it didn't work.
I ran up the stairs and came back with a few pillows. I put my head under them so that my sensitive ears wouldn't bust.
I wished that Esmeralda was here so that she could save my ears.

I heard somepony coming and turned around, ready to destroy them. I relaxed, seeing that it was only Esmeralda.
I ordered her, "Slave, make the music quieter."
But she did nothing. I ordered her again, louder this time, "Slave, make the music quieter."
I shouted, "SLAVE! MAKE THE MUSIC QUIETER!"
But she did nothing. I screamed, "WHY ARE YOU NOT DOING ANYTHING?"
She replied, "Because I'm NOT your slave."
"You are, and you will always be."
"Never."
I said, "Sorry for this, slave."
And then I used the mind-control spell on her. But it didn't work?
That was impossible; my spells always worked. I tried again, but nothing happened.
I screamed, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?"
She said, "You didn't ask nicely."
In anger, I stomped over to the strange thing that was still playing music, and I bucked it hard.
It hit the wall and fell on the floor with a crash. Finally, the music had stopped playing.
On the other hand, Esmeralda gasped and asked, "Why did you do THAT?"
I told her, "You weren't listening to me or turning the music off."
"But now it's broken."
"I don't care. Now my ears won't hurt."
"I'll show you not to break my things you..."
Esmeralda went up the stairs, and I heard a door closing. My stomach made a noise, and I decided it was time to eat something.
I walked into the room that had the cold box in it. I opened it and looked for something to eat.
I found a small box with the word chocolate on it. I was curious to know what it was, so I took the box and went into another room.
I started eating it after I took it out of its box, and it tasted good.
I ate the whole bar and went back for more. I came back with twenty boxes levitated by my magic and sat down.
Then, I began my chocolate-eating. When I finished, not only was my muzzle covered in chocolate but my whole body as well.
I decided that I needed a wash and looked for Esmeralda. I walked up the stairs, leaving chocolate hoofprints everywhere I walked.
I went into every room and left a mess in each. I reached the bathroom. I opened the door and saw Esmeralda in the bath.
She screamed and shut something. I said, "I need a bath."
She screamed, "Shut the door!"
So I stepped inside and shut the door waiting for her to take me to the bath.
But she never did. I was getting impatient. It felt like an hour since I came in, and my fur started feeling sticky.
I saw some small black things climbing onto me, and I screamed.
I did the only thing anypony else would've done. I jumped into Esmeralda's bath.
She scremaed, "Sombraaa! Get of me."
I moved a bit and let her have some space. She glared at me and then wrapped a towel around herself.
I asked her, "How are we going to get dry if you wet the only towel?"
She glared and said, "The last thing I care about now is getting dry! You ruined MY baht. You put CHOCOLATE in it. The chocolate from your fur. NO ONE CAN JUMP INTO SOMEONE ELSE'S BATH LIKE THAT!"
She kept flicking my ears. I moved her hand and said, "You're hurting my ears."
She said, "I DON'T care."
She flicked my ears harder and harder.
I asked her, "What's so wrong with having a bath with somepony else? When I ruled the Crystal Empire, I used to have baths with mares. Sometimes, if they were good, I let them sleep with me."
"That is terrible."
"Is not. It was fun."
"I am NOT one of your mares."
"I could make you one."
"Get OUT of MY bath right NOW, Sombra."
"I like it."
"Get OUT!"
"Will NOT."
"You WILL!"
"Will NOT!"

After I finished my bath with Esmeralda, she ignored me. I kept tapping her and asking her for pizza, but she ignored me.
I was getting annoyed. I was hungry, and I remembered my fangs. I got an idea.
I sat on the table next to Esmeralda and bit her hard on her ear.
She screamed, "Sombra! Why are you biting my ear? Stop!"
But I didn't stop. I started drinking Esmeralda's blood, and it tasted so good. Much better than pony blood.
I finished drinking and moved my fangs away from her ear.
I laughed, "You never knew that I was a vampire, did you?"
Her ear was still bleeding, and she went to stop it. When she came back, she pushed me off the table, and I fell on the floor.
I got back on, but she kept pushing me off. I got annoyed and bit her other ear. She screamed and tried to stop me, but she couldn't.
I was so busy keeping my fangs on her ear, I didn't notice how close I got.
She bit my ear hard enough to make me scream and stop biting her.
Luckily, my ear wasn't bleeding. But it hurt. A lot.
I moved away from her and teleported to her room. I slept in her bed.

Esmeralda's P.O.V:
After Sombra disappeared, I went to the sink and spat the fur out of my mouth.
I wondered where Sombra was now, but I didn't care where he was. As long as he was away from me, I was completely fine.
The only reason why I didn't try to get rid of him was that I thought I was imagining him.
I liked reading and writing stories and imagined a lot. Some nights, I dreamed about characters from my stories.
And if I didn't update them, then I thought about that.
I hoped one day Sombra would just disappear, and my pizza would be safe.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone snoring. When I located the source, I changed my sentence to somepony snoring.
It was Sombra. On MY bed. In MY room. Using MY blanket. And MY pillow.
I took my blanket off him and tried to pull him off my bed. But he was too heavy.
Probably from pizza and chocolate. I tried pushing him but nothing happened.
Then he woke up and said, "Stop annoying me."
I screamed, "Get out of MY bed!"
He said, "No! Now either be quiet or go away."
"I will NOT go away. This is MY room, and YOU should GO away."
"I will NOT go away either. I rule over you, and soon I shall rule this planet!"
"You rule nothing."
"I do. I rule you."
"And how is that?"
"I'll show you."
Sombra's horn glowed, and I shut my eyes. When I opened them again, everything seemed smaller.
I asked Sombra, "What have YOU done?"
He said, "I've turned you into a filly. With chains."
I looked at myself in the mirror and saw that Sombra wasn't lying.
I was a pony. Covered in chains.
I tried getting the chains off, but it was for nothing.
Sombra happily said, "You look exactly like one of my slaves from a thousand years ago. Don't try to take the chains off; only I can."
I hissed, "Turn me back. Now."
Sombra said, "No."
"But I can't go anywhere like this!"
"Do I look like I care? You're the one who asked me to show you how I rule you."
"I take my words back."
"You can't."
"Will you ever turn me back? I want to be a human."
"In a month."
"I don't want fur. I don't want to be a pony."
"You'll get used to being a pony."
I sighed as it seemed like Sombra wasn't going to change his mind anytime soon.
It was going to be a long night.
I decided to sleep and that I'll wake up and find myself as a human. I tried opening the door to go to my bathroom, but it was hard with hooves.
I asked Sombra, "How can you open this door with hooves?"
He answered, "Use your magic."
Then he looked at me and said, "Oh, I forgot, I didn't give you any magic."
He opened the door and pushed me into the bathroom with magic. I turned the lights on and then tried to brush my teeth.
But it was hard. I couldn't even squeeze toothpaste onto my brush. I got angry and jumped on the tube, and toothpaste shot out, covering me and my brush.
Great. Just great. Now I had to have a shower. I brushed my teeth and tried turning the tap on. I nearly broke it.

After I kicked the door open, I went into my room and tried to dry my fur. But I couldn't reach the towel rack. I tried jumping.
But that never worked. Sombra threw a towel on me and laughed.
I asked him, "What's so funny?"
He laughed, "You're a pegasus, silly. That means you could've flown."
"And whose fault is that?"
"Be happy that I didn't make you an earth pony. That would've been boring."
I threw the towel off and tried drying myself. But I couldn't.
So that night, I had to sleep with wet fur.

King Sombra's P.O.V:
I woke up and threw the blankets off myself. I couldn't sleep anymore. I was too hungry.
I slapped filly-Esmeralda, and she woke up. She asked me, "What?"
I told her, "I'm hungry."
"And what can I do about that?"
"Get me some food, of course."
"I won't be able to do anything while I'm a pony."
"I don't care. You WILL do SOMETHING, or I will...uh...I will...Do something to you!"
"I'm tired."
"I DON'T care if YOU'RE tired. I only care about myself."
"Why don't YOU go and make some food for yourself?"
"I'm a King. Kings never make their food."
"I'm tired of hearing this every day."
"Fine then. If you won't make my food now, then I'll force you to make some."
"Just try."
My horn glowed, and Esmeralda got out of bed, under the mind=control.
A few minutes and she came with some food. It was chocolate.
I liked it, so I took all the chocolate off the plate and filled my mouth with it.
Filly-Esme stood there, watching as her bed got covered with chocolate and their wrappers.
I ordered her, "Clean up."
While she cleaned, I found that rectangle thing of hers. Next to it was a book.
Written on the page was the pizza delivery phone number.
Pizza would be good, I thought and decided to get some. I tried turning it on like I saw Esmeralda do, but the button was too small.
I poked it with my horn, and the thing turned on. Then I swiped the screen and pressed something that had a picture of a phone on it.
I tapped that and pressed the name 'Pizza Delivery'. It started ringing and afe=ter a few minutes I heard somepony talking. They said, "Hello, how can I help you today?"
I ordered, "I need 200 boxes of pizza. Extra cheese."
They asked, "Name?"
I deicded to use Esmeralda's name. I said, "Esmeralda."
"Esmeralda? We'll deliver your pizza within the next half-hour."
I pressed the red picture, and the call ended. My voice didn't sound anything like Esmeralda's, so that meant that the Pizza Delivery had a hearing problem.

The doorbell rang, and I sent Esmeralda to answer it. She came back with 200 boxes of pizza with her.
I told her to shut the door. She did that, and somepony knocked.
It was the Pizza Delivery. I asked, "What do you want?"
He was surprised to see me but said, "You have to pay."
"How much?"
"£1000000."
"That's too much."
"Sorry, but it's the price."
I turned and asked Esmeralda, "Do you have £1000000?"
She said, "No."
I turned back to the man and said, "I don't have £1000000."
"Then return the pizza."
I didn't want to return the pizza, so I erased his memory and teleported him where he belonged.
Then I shut the door and ate the pizza. I gave Esmeralda 100 boxes and took my 100 boxes to the room that I always ate pizza in.

I was becoming tired, so I stopped controlling the human turned filly.
She looked confused for a second and then screamed, "TURN ME BACK!"
I sighed and put a no talking spell on her.

Esmeralda's P.O.V:
I tried not to look in the mirror because I didn't want to see myself as a pony. I wanted to see myself as a human. The human that I was, and should be.
I liked how I looked as a pony, but I didn't want to be one now. I might like being a pony in the future for a few minutes, but right now I wanted to be myself.
The no-talking spell had worn off in the night. I decided to try flying to my room.
I flew in and saw Sombra still sleeping. The way he was sleeping gave me an idea, and I got some ropes.
Then, I tied his hooves to the four corners of the bed and I waited for him to wake up.

Once Sombra woke up, he tried moving. But he couldn't because he was tied to the bed. He said in a tired voice, "Esmeralda, untie me."
I did nothing. He looked at me and said in a louder voice, "Esmeralda untie these ropes."
Sombra asked, "Esmeralda, why are you just sitting there? Come untie me."
I stood with a knife in my hand and asked, "Or what?"
I walked to him and asked, "You'll kill me?" I put the knife on his chest. "King Sombra. It's been enough. You just came out of nowhere and into my house a few days ago. You've been eating all my food, using all my stuff, and using me."
"Esmeralda, I'm ordering you to untie me right now.", he ordered.
"Try using your magic.", I tell him.
He did that, but his magic didn't work on the ropes. He said, "What! My magic!"
I laughed, "Yes, Sombra Former Ruler Of The Crystal Empire. Your magic won't work on these ropes."
"But why?", he asks.
I say, "Because, these are a special type of ropes. No magic can work on them."
"UNTIE ME RIGHT NOW!", he shouts.
I say, "No, I will not."
"I'M TELLING YOU TO UNTIE ME, SO YOU WILL!"
"No, Sombra. Not until you turn me back into a human."
"Listen, Esmeralda.", he tries talking nicely. "Untie me and then I will turn you back into a human."
I know that trick all too well. I tell him, "I'm not falling for your trick, Sombra."
"Sunbutt curse you! I swear, even Sunbutt is better than you. YOU WILL UNTIE ME THIS INSTANT, ESMERALDA!", he shouts.
"No!"
"YES, YOU WILL!"
"No."
"UNTIE ME!"
"No."
"YOU'LL REGRET IT!"
"I might."
"UNTIE ME ESMERALDA! RIGHT NOW!"
I get tired of Sombra's shouting and when he opens his mouth to shout more, I find a scarf and tie it around his mouth, muffling his voice.
I say, "Either you turn me back into a human, and I'll untie you, or you won't turn me back, and you'll be tied forever."
Sombra shouts something that sounds like, "Never!"
I say, "Oh well. I gave you a choice. See you later, Sombra."
I walk out of the room, leaving an angry Sombra behind.

It has been five hours, and Sombra is still tied. I have never felt so much peace in my life.
I decided to check on him. When I enter my room, I see Sombra pulling at the ropes tying him. I sit on my bed and say, "You'll never untie yourself, ever."
It had barely been a minute since I had said that, and Sombra pulled harder.
The corners to which he was tied broke off the bed and he took them off his hooves.
I was shocked. How could he have broken my bed? I didn't know he was that strong.
Sombra moved the scarf blocking his mouth and smirked. "You're going to pay for this, Esmeralda. I'll make you pay."
I was too shocked to move. Sombra lifted me with his magic and chained me to the wall.
Now I was the one chained.
Sombra's P.O.V:
The Annoying Esmeralda came into the room and sat on the bed. Then she said, "You'll never untie yourself, ever."
I was determined to prove her wrong. One hard pull and the corners of the bed ripped off.
I untied them from my hooves, moved the thing that had been stopping me from talking and said, "You're going to pay for this, Esmeralda. You're going to pay."
The filly was too shocked to move, and taking advantage of that, I lifted her with my magic and chained her to the wall.
I licked my lips and said, "Now I'll get my revenge."
I went to the bathroom and washed my face. Then, I went back to the bedroom.
I stood in front of filly-Esmeralda and smirked. "Let's see what your greatest fears are, shall we?"
I laughed and then used a spell to enter her mind. She was scared of...I left her mind and laughed.
Then I said, "So, Esmeralda. You're scared of spiders and insects on you."
I used a spell to get every insect and spider in Esmeralda's house and put them near her.
She started struggling to get free. I told her, "I do remember telling you earlier that you'd regret this."
She screamed, "LET ME GO!"
I replied, "No!"
She screamed louder as the insects got closer to her. I used a spell to protect my highly sensitive ears.
Then, she screamed more as the insects started climbing up her. I then stopped them and put them back in their places. I said, "That was a lesson for you. I won't unchain you now, but after a week."
Esmeralda was too shaken to answer.

Esmeralda's P.O.V:
It's been a week. Sombra unchained me only after I promised that I would keep buying him pizza for a month. And I couldn't have any.
For one whole freaking month! I regret making that promise now. Every single coin I have is gone, spent on pizza that I can't have any of.
Every single coin! I so wish that I could call the police to arrest Sombra. But it's not like they would believe me. If someone called me and said, 'Hi. I've got a talking unicorn in my house and he keeps calling himself a king. And he thinks that I'm his slave. And he keeps forcing me to buy pizza.'
I wouldn't believe them, and I'd think they were crazy. So, no one would believe me.
I needed a plan. And fast.
After buying Sombra some pizza and eating breakfast, I came up with a plan. This was it:
Call Helen and ask her to come over.
Tell her that Sombra is my pet cat, and I thought dressing him up as a unicorn would be funny.
Eventually, Sombra would talk, and I would be recording.
Show it to the police and get rid of Sombra for good.
It was the best plan ever!
And not long after, Helen came. I let her in and we hugged each other. And then, I asked her, "How was your morning?"
"Perfect.", she replied. "What about yours?"
I told her, "It wasn't bad." Then Sombra decided to show up. I said, "This is my pet cat, Fluffy. I thought that dressing him up as a unicorn king would be funny."
Helen laughed and said, "It sure is funny! And he's sooo cute!"
She then petted him.
Sombra's P.O.V:
I finished my pizza and heard a knock at the door. Esmeralda went to open it, and another, um whatsitcalled? Um...human! Yeah, another human came in.
They hugged each other, talked, and then when I was about to tell Esmeralda to get this human out of my house, Esmeralda did the worst thing ever.
She said, "This is my pet cat, Fluffy. I thought that dressing him up as a unicorn king would be funny."
I was so gonna make her regret this.
The other human laughed and said, "It sure is funny! And he's sooo cute!"
Did she call me cute?! How dare she! And then, I felt somepony touching my mane. It was that human.
I saw Esmeralda giving me a look that said, 'I'm gonna win, ponyboy.'
Then I knew what she was going to do. She wanted to make me talk in front of this human, so that she could get me sent to Tartaurs!
No way! Not going to happen. I resisted the urge to throw the human's hand off my head. And I acted like a cat.
I decided that I would spend five hours washing myself after this.
Esmeralda's P.O.V:
Three hours had passed, and Sombra did nothing apart from act like a cat.
Three hours, and I was running out of ideas on how to make Sombra say a word.
He stared at me, and I could tell that this was not going to end well. For me.
Eventually he looked away.
Helen had gone home, saying that she would come again. And as soon as she left, as soon as I shut the door behind her, Sombra's horn started glowing.
And the recorder that I had hidden, was destroyed. He then got up and walked to me. He hissed, "I'm going to make you pay for this. And you'll regret what you did."
Then he went upstairs, and I heard the bathroom door close. Five hours later, Sombra came back and said, "Good. You haven't moved since I left. Now, that's a bad thing to do, isn't it, Esmeralda? Planning against your King isn't what a good slave would do. And do you know what happens when slaves be bad? They get punished."
I was still frozen, hoping that Sombra wouldn't blast me into pieces. He continued, "And your punishment is..." I waited, hoping it wouldn't be anything too bad. "...that you can't eat anything apart from bread. And you can only drink water. No sweets for you. No tea. No coffee. No cheese."
That was the worst thing ever! Well at least it was only that, an annoying part of my brain reminded me. I sighed.
"And if you ever try anything like that again, Esmeralda, I'll give you a punishment so bad that you'd wish that you were in Tartarus."
I decided it would be a good idea to stay on Sombra's good side.
Sombra's P.O.V:
"And if you ever try anything like that again, Esmeralda, I'll give you a punishment so bad that you'd wish that you were in Tartarus.", I hissed.
I watched as she nodded, petrified. "Good.", I said. "And remember, I'll be watching you."

Esmeralda's P.O.V:
A few months have passed since Sombra's warning. I didn't invite anyone over, or pretend that he was a cat.
Now he's eating all of my pizza for no good reason at all. I hope that I can find a way to send him back to where ever he came from.
He's a threat to my food storage. While he's eating my pizza, I'm doing my school work and trying to not eat it.
I'm that hungry. Sombra, for some reason isn't letting me go in the kitchen. Which means that I can't go to the fridge. Which means that I can't get pizza for myself.
I wonder why he's doing that. It might have something to do with his plan.
Yeah. He told me that if he can't make me accept him as my ruler by breaking things, then he'll stop me from doing things.
Why does he have to be so...like how he is?
I would've snatched his pizza off him, but he used a kind of magic shield to stop me.
Just curse his magic. I decided that if he wouldn't let me have any pizza in the house, then I'll go outside and eat it. So I told him, "I'm going out. Don't break anything."
He replied, "Whatever. You didn't need to tell me that."
And then he returned to his pizza. I rolled my eyes. He was obsessed with pizza.
I bet that if he had a talent, it would be eating pizza.
I quickly left.
King Sombra's P.O.V:
I ate my pizza while watching some movies. Esmeralda interrupted me to tell me that she was going somewhere.
I told her that I didn't care where she went. Not exactly that, but you know...
I don't think that I want to go back to Equestria. It hasn't got any pizza, or humans.
I found humans interesting. They were so foolish.
For the last few months, Esmeralda's been good.
Not as good as one of my crystal slaves would've been, but at least she didn't pretend that I was her cat.
I have nothing left in Equestria. Hope isn't there, and the crystal empire is impossible for me to get.
What's the point in trying to get something that I know I'll never have when I could rule these humans?
Or maybe pizza?
The door opening and closing signalled Esmeralda's return. As soon as she came, I started, "Esmeralda. I've got something to tell you."
She looked at me. "What is it?", she asked.
"I don't want to go back to Equestria. I don't want to rule the crystal empire anymore.", I told her.
"Why not?", she asked.
"Because there's no point. I can rule over humans instead."
She gave me a look that said, are you serious?
I got an idea. "I've got a better idea! I could rule pizza!", I exclaimed. "From today, I am the king of pizza!"
She fainted.

Here's the end of this story. I know it took me a long time to update. I nearly forgot about it. There's going to be a sequel, so keep your eyes out for it. I haven't decided what to name it yet. Vote/like and comment!
