Freedom #4

Metal Wing P.O.V.

Golden Sky was looking at Lucky star and asked. "So he left us again!?" Lucky star just nodded, " He is such a fool! Does he not think we can protect ourselves!?" Then Zextra speaks up, "Maybe it isn't he doesn't think we can maybe it's just he wants to ensure our safety." Golden sky snorts, "HE SHOULDNT LEAVE WITHOUT SAYING SOMETHING!!" I just looked at all three of them and face hooved, why does Golden Sky act like he never does this?! She does it almost all the time, but I guess that's what we like about her. She keeps us all in check.

"So should go after him?" Lucky Star just shrugged, "Fine I'll go You girls just try to fix this mess. " She opened her chitin wings and flew off in the direction of Midnight Sky.

Zextra just sighed, "Look we have a job to do he did say ensure the safety of the ponies in the town." Golden and I just sighed, she was right and they knew it.

"Well I suppose you are right Zextra, that was his exact words. So let's go, and stay focused" I nearly shouted, She didn't want either of them to die.

I pointed Midnight's pistol at the horizon and flew above. While Zextra used his Revolver Justice that Lucky levitated to herein her mouth, and Golden Sky levitated the AR120 to any building that might have Sniper's inside of. Then they heard a door open to expose a scared Moonlight and a filly.

"Hey look he wasn't lying? I suppose there are ponies in this town just got to ensure we keep them safe now and heal their-" That's when I noticed the bruises, cuts, and semen from each of their backsides and wanted to kill some ponies. " Who did this to you two!" The young mare and filly shrank back from my angered expression, they knew I was angry from what happened to them but my expression was one of murder.

Moonlight pointed inside the house, and I rushed inside smelling blood, and the thing I saw confirmed it. Midnight was here I know his handy work anywhere, he likes to make his targets suffer to an extreme level. He is a sadist when someone hurts those he sees he needs to protect. "Where did he go kids?" The answered surprised me because the filly answered me.

"He went to the Raider base miss, it has around 10 ponies in that base he won't survive." Did I try hard not to laugh 10? "Just 10?" The filly nodded, "He will be fine then" The two ponies look at me in surprise, 'What do you expect him to be weak? he's just different. He can destroy most ponies when he wants to, he just likes to make ponies suffer" The two Ponies flinched, So they saw it and still trust him. Odd ones these are, whatever. "Anyway, so what are we going to do about the big issue of an empty town?" Golden smiles and waves her hooves in the air, I sighed "Yes Golden?"

"I wanna Adopt these fillies!!" We all stare at her with shock.

"First off they have to have parents because you know Midnight left them. So they have to have parents he wouldn't leave innocent ponies. Also, they have to be okay with it" I sighed, "They are cute though." They blushed slightly.

"Anyway, Where were we?" Then I face-hooved, "Right, we need to find any more ponies-" Then I was cut off by a cough and we all spun around and looked at the bleeding stallion on the ground, "nvm found one." I get down and pour a healing potion down his throat.

"So what is your name mister?" The stallion just growls out.

"My name is Somber Shadow, it matched my personality!" we just stare at him and I answer, "Of course! i knew that " I roll my eyes. "So what the bloody hell happened to you" He grumbled, "Some stupid raiders. Is what happened!" The ponies just shrugged.

Midnight Sky P.O.V.

Meanwhile, in the Raider base, I was staring at the poor mare he killed, Reasberry, "WHY AM I SUCH AN IDIOT!" My outburst shocked the ponies, "WHY DO I TRY HARD TO FIX THINGS AN ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE GRAH! IT"S LIKE SOME DEMON IS MAKING MY LIFE HELL."

I take a deep breath, "I'm sorry I wonder if I could revive a pony after a repeated experience of dark magic." Then he remembers a single line, the road to Tartus is paved with good intentions. He decided to fuck it. "I'll Revive you Reasberry it won't be soon but it will happen that I can promise."

Reasberry just stared at him, He just spits out blood. Injuries suck ass, "Uh anyway these are or were my friends... Somber Night husband to that abusive asshole in the town," She pointed to number one "and this is Quick Draw, she was the sheriff until she found out she was pregnant. She tried hard to fight back, but after they threatened to rip her womb out she stopped.

"So simple question for you three where are all the stallions?" That question darkened their features, "Oh no...please no"

"Most males either joined them after they threatened to execute their families or are currently rotting on poles." Midnight's heart fell, those poor poor fillies. Then the righteous flames of Venegence flared up inside him, his magic exploded from his body engulfing him. The Swirling red flames cause the already dim lights of the Raider base to get blocked out. He was pissed, and everyone from a mile away could feel the extreme magical pressure. It was like getting hit by a truck, everyone who felt that knew someone very powerful was pissed.

He quickly got his demon under control, "Let's get you three out of here" The mares just nod and follow Midnight. when he gets to the pins rips the metal door off the hinges surprising every pony in the cage, His blazing red eyes showed his rage.

"Get home now Each of you mares at going to follow me to a save location." he slowly left and walked to the mare he left tied up and sliced her down with his Sky God sword. "Get to the other group." She ran as quickly as possible.

Then he heard a pop of magic, "Hello Lucky star, knew you would be the one to follow me." And she Slapped him.

"YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD US!!" He snorted, "Could've but didn't " Again slap, "WE NEED YOU DUMBASS!!"

He sighed, "Sorry I got lost in my rage again just like old times huh?" She just stared at him and gawked, and spoke softly.

"I though I was doing a good job at hiding it" Midnight just smirked and looked away, "You still have that scar on your carapace, Kinda a dead giveaway."

"Asshole!" She starts to beat his check half-heartedly. He just chuckles, "When I saw your carapace I knew it was you just didn't wanna say anything."

"Observant asshole!"

" I am both things aren't I" he looked at the ponies grabbing random things. " I wish I was better, faster, and stronger. Then others wouldn't have to suffer. "
