For a while, she lived an average life... until Daring returned from an aventure in possession of a legendary artifact that was rumored to have the power to bring ultimate peace upon the entire world. However, the adventure mare had been unable to discover any significant abilities the artifact was said to contain... Worse yet, a mysterious cult that claims to be in favor of world peace demanded that she hand it over at the cost of her life if she did not comply.

One fateful day, Rainbow Dash returned from school to find her foster mother murdered, and is framed for the death.
