Anon a Mystery: After the meeting
We find Sunset shimmer, her boyfriend Flash Sentry, and the CMC making their way towards Canterlot mall. With the large building just a few feet away our fire headed girl started to recollect the meeting that had transpired an hour ago, Anon a Miss has caused a big rift between her and her friends/sisters but in a way it also strengthened their friendship to a whole new level. Now the five members of the Rainbooms no better than to jump to conclusions again and their sisters have learned to talk about your problems instead of scheming or manipulating your loved ones with lies. Finally reaching their destination we find the five members of the Rainbooms along with human Twilight waiting at the entrance for Sunset and to their surprise found not only her but their sister's and Flash Sentry by her side.
"Hey Sunset!!!!!!!!!" Pinkie waved and shouted in her usual happy tone.
"Right on time darling" Rarity greeted.
"Great to see you" Fluttershy replied.
"It's about time ya made it" Dash joked. " We were just about to start without ya hehe"
"I take it the meeting with our sisters and Flash went along well? Especially since you invited them along?" Applejack asked.
"Yup I'm happy to say me, your sisters, and my boyfriend are all good" Sunset replied as she put her arms around the CMC and Flash in a reassuring fashion.
"Well I'm happy things are all good with you four" Applejack said with a wink.
"Same here, I'm happy for you Sweetie Belle" Rarity said to her sister.
"Me too, I'm proud of ya Scoot's" Dash said proudly. " See I told ya it would work out in the end"
"Thanks sis" The CMC said in unison.
"Thanks guy's " Flash replied.
"So shall we get this day at the mall started darlings?" Rarity asked.
"Yeah we got an hour before the movie starts and I wanna get those fortnite plushies for the cake twins before they're sold out" Pinkie said.
"And I wanna see if that dress I saw last month is in stock" Rarity jumped in.
"Ditto, I had my ps5 on layaway since last month and I wanna get to it before someone lies and pretends to be me just to steal it" Dash replied slightly worried.
"Hehe patience Dash, no one's gonna steal your Ps5" Fluttershy reassured. " Remember that Micro chip work's at Gamestop? He'll make sure it's safe and sound, after all technology and gaming is his specialty"
"Yeah I guess your right" Dash said. " I still owe him one when he saved that last copy of Kingdom hearts 3 for me"
"Well what are we waiting for let's go go go!!!!!!!!!!!" Pinkie said excitedly earning a chorus of agreement's from the other's. However Sunset had other plans for a certain farmgirl.
"Actually" She began. " AJ can I talk to you about something real quick before we go in?" Applejack then raised an eyebrow wondering what her friend wanted to talk to her about.
"Uh sure Sunset" She answered.
"Thanks, you guy's go inside this wont take long" Sunset said to the other's.
"Okie dokie " Pinkie replied. " But don't take too long or we'll have to start shopping without you" and with that she and the others made their way inside leaving the two friends by themselves. The two stared in silence for a few moment's as the cold winter air flew into their faces as Applejack remained uncertain as to what her friend/sister wanted to talk to her about, after a few second's Applejack finally broke the ice.
" Sooooooooooooooo" She began. " What did ya wanna talk about sugarcube?" After asking her question Sunset hesitated at first but finally took a deep breath and not wasting any time finally spoke.
"Why would you say something so cruel to your little sister AJ?" Sunset said slightly stern earning a confused look from the farm girl, whom was quick to fully realize what Sunset was talking about and soon a guilty expression formed on her face as the memory of that dreaded last conversation she had with Bloom before she was shipped to Texas soon played in her head.
"Ma and Pa having you was the worst decision of their lives" After another moment's hesitation Applejack spoke again.
"I take it Bloom told ya the whole story?" She asked.
"Oooooooohhhhhhhh yes she did partner" Sunset said in a bit of a strict sarcastic tone." How could you say something so heartless AJ?"
"I was mad sugarcube, I couldn't control my words" Applejack answered.
"That's no excuse" Sunset replied trying not to yell and accidentally cause a scene especially with the passers by making their way inside the large building. " You don't ever and I mean EVER say something like that to your lil sister, the old me wouldn't even say something so heartless. You are so damn lucky your parent's aren't alive cause if they were right here and they found out what you've said they'd be so disappointed in you AJ"
After Sunset finished her short lecture AJ looked down on the ground in shame. She knew Sunset was right, her word's were heartless and cold, she began to internally berate herself for even saying those words to her little sister. No matter how much she messed up last year with the Anon a Miss incident those words were uncalled for, and she , Sunset, and ever her Ma and Pa would have known it as well.
"Your right Sunset, my word's were uncalled for" She began. " I should have handled that situation much more differently but instead I let my emotions get the better of me. I was just so furious at Apple bloom for breaking that sacred trust in our sisterly bond. After Ma and Pa gave me the nickname piggly wiggly whenever I played around with the pigs at the farm, I wanted to keep it to myself and my family only. Hell I didn't even want my friends to know about it cause my reputation would have been in jeopardy plus I would have been made fun of throughout grade school and high school if anyone ever knew my deepest and embarrassing secret I kept when I was three years old. When I told Apple bloom about it when she turned eleven she vowed to me that she'll keep this secret to her grave and not tell a soul to anyone especially her friends, but in the end she broke that promise all because she was jealous of me not giving her much attention during the holiday season. And worst of all she even betrayed Big mac by posting his dark and rather "Cough" suggestive secret. While me and Granny Smith were disgusted at my brother for having such lewd thoughts about one of our teachers especially since he had or HAD a girlfriend already, but what disgusted me the most was the fact that Bloom filmed the whole thing and saw her brothers "cough" lower regions and even posted it on the world wide web for everyone to see and it can never go away regardless if you deleted the video. The fact that she posted such a lewd video about a family member and even posted the whole session on mystable outright sickened me, she was so lucky she didn't get arrested and charged with posting and filming sexual conduct on a minor. But honestly I should have just scolded her instead of wishing that she wasn't born, cause if Big mac said that to me I would have been saddened and depressed as well. It's bad enough that Bloom was abused by my uncle but the fact that she attempted suicide broke my heart especially since it was my words that drove her over the edge. Hell If Bloom actually died back in Texas I would never EVER forgive myself"
AJ said no more and silently weeped as her tears poured down landing on the snow and pavement not caring if the passersby saw her. Sunset surveyed her friends broken form, while she was still disappointed at her harsh treatment toward her younger sister she also knew that Applejack regretted ever saying something so harsh to her younger sibling and wished so badly that she could take it all back, after what felt like an eternity of staring at her sobbing friend Sunset placed her hand on the weeping farmgirls shoulder causing her to stop crying immediately in shock and slight confusion.
"Sunset?" She sniffed.
"AJ Listen to me" Sunset began. " Your right, what Bloom did to you and Big Mac was absolutely disgraceful and outright disgusting. Honestly when she told me about it during our meeting I was just as disappointed and disgusted as you and honestly I probably would have reacted the same way if it was me. Cause honestly filming someone masturbating or performing a sexual act without them knowing is outright illegal and an invasion of privacy, but listen no matter how mad someone makes ya you don't EVER say something that cruel to them. I get that she went way too far with Big Mac's secret but she's still your little sister and saying something like that'll scar someone for life and make them think that they don't deserve to exist in this world and that's what she did. Now your word's weren't the real reason she tried to kill herself but they sure as hell fueled her into insanity and sadness. But..........................You did apologize to her so I can't be too mad at you, but I want you to promise me. The next time Bloom makes you angry or does something to upset you to watch your word's, otherwise you might lose her GOT IT?"
After hearing her friend's lecture AJ knew she was right. She should have just told Apple bloom how disappointed she was at her instead of outright saying those hurtful words to her cause god knows what else she would have done to herself due to her word's cause she already tried to kill herself what was stopping her from doing something else like either runaway from home or even put herself up for adoption. After a brief moment the farm girl let out a long sigh and spoke to her friend.
"Your right sugarcube and thank you" Applejack said with a smile while wiping away her tear's. " I'll watch what I say from now on when I'm angry cause if I ever lost Apple bloom or even Big Mac I would be devastated beyond belief, I'll do my best to be a better sister from now on I promise"
" I know you will AJ" Sunset said proudly and with a smile, she then collected her friend/sister into a warm embrace which she quickly returned trying her hardest not to cry again. after a few minutes the two friends ended the hug and stared at the entrance of the mall.
" Now that that's taken care of let's get this day at the mall started, dont wanna keep the others waiting" Sunset said.
" True dat, I'm right behind you sugarcube" AJ replied and the two friends then proceeded into the large building to have a fun day out with their friends and family.
