When a mysterious peddler gifts Spike with a collection of frightening films, all he can think about is how fun it'll be to get into the Nightmare Night spirit with Twilight and their friends. And, who knows, if Rarity gets scared perhaps he'll get the chance to offer her a shoulder to hide behind.

But when ponies start disappearing in the dead of night, and whispers of strange creatures in the woods and strange lights in the sky begin echoing through Ponyville, Spike suspects the frights enjoyed by him and his friends may be to blame.

The Golden Oak Midnight Viewings Club have let something wicked out from behind the silver screen just in time for Nightmare Night, and only they can put it back.
