Shining ArmourView OnlineSacrificesShining Armour“Brother!” Screamed Twilight when she saw her brother lying on the floor under a cave wall. “Shining!” Shouted Cadance. Both alicorn’s ran over to the dying stallion with tears in their eyes, the rest of the ponies followed sadly. Twilight tried to pull him up but it was no use, Cadance sadly touched him, some of her own tears fell onto him. “Shining” She sobbed. Shining Armour slowly opened his eyes, “T-Twily... Cade...”. He slowly reached out his hoof and Twilight gently touched it, some of her tears fell onto his hoof as she cried. Cadance couldn’t speak, she didn’t know what to say. “Why?” Sobbed Twilight, “You were my Big Brother Best Friend Forever!”. Twilight was in denial, she ignored the wound on his side and continued to sob, she looked at Celestia. “There has to be a cure! There as to be a way to save you!”. “Twi-“ Shining coughed, “It’s too late to save me...”. Twilight started to shake as tears poured from her eyes, “No... no!”. “I’m just happy to see my sister, wife and everpony is safe... now... wipe those tears and enjoy the future for me...” He put on a smile. Twilight’s expression did not change, her heart was broken into a million of pieces. She looked at her brother and sobbed harder than she ever did, she wasn’t expecting to lose him like this. Her heart started to ache as she watched her dying brother. Cadance’s muzzle was soaked with tears, she couldn’t bear it, she wished there was a way to save him but there wasn’t. “S-shining” She managed to sobbed, “I love you... I’ll always love you” She choked on her own tears. “Love the future for me... I-I’ll always be with you... you may not know I’m there but I’ll always watch over you, sis”. Shining Armour coughed up a bit of blood, Luna and Celestia watched with tears in their eyes, the Main Six was always sobbing, Fluttershy couldn’t even look at them. Shining armour closed his eyes, “Tell Flurry... I love her... I love you all” He said before taking his final breath. “Twilight!” Called Starlight as she entered the cavern with Spike on her back. “Oh!” She gasped as she walked over, she started to cry. Spike put his claw on Twilight and wiped some of his tears with his other, Twilight sobbed into her wing, her brother was gone. Celestia hugged Cadance who sobbed into her chest, some of her own tears fell into her mane. Luna sat there speechless, on of her sister’s wing cuddled her in. The Main Six hugged each other and Starlight, they all cried hard as they remembered Shining Armour. Pinkie’s mane was fully drooped and Rarity’s mascara was all down her face. A day had past since Shining Armour’s sacrifice. His funeral was going to be held in the Crystal Empire, many ponies and creatures from in and out of the Crystal Empire were going to attend. Rarity made black funeral dresses and hats, she wasn’t in the mood in make them stylish, just plain black and white dresses with a black hat that had a black flower and a veil on it. Creatures far and wide gathered to mourn the loss of the prince of the Crystal Empire, Shining Armour. Everyone was gathered around a casket, Cadance stood next to the casket ready to make a speech, Flurry Heart was on her back, both of their manes were messy and it was clear they hadn’t slept. “Today we mourn the loss of Prince Shining Armour, he was brave and caring” Cadance managed to say before breaking out into sobs. Ponies lined up to pay their respects with words, flowers or both before the casket was lowered into the ground. Twilight wished he was still here but inside she knew that he was still with her in a way, not physically. Poor Flurry Heart didn’t seem to know what happened to her dadda, she only knew he was gone and never was going to return. That foal was going to grow up without a dad, she properly would not remember him very well when she gets older. Twilight broke into sobs when she heard the filly looked around and call for him only for Cadance to hush her. “He’s... somewhere else now She cried, “He won’t come back”. It was a sad and slow day, hardly anyone in the Crystal Empire smiled that day, Cadance didn’t smile for at least a week after the sacrifice.
StarlightView OnlineSacrificesStarlightThe world seemed to stop when Twilight spotted a familiar purple unicorn laying down lifeless near the wall of the cave. Tears poured from her eyes and she screamed her name out loud. “Starlight!” She screamed as she ran to the body with tears in her life. “No, no,no,no!” Twilight shouted in disbelief as she scanned Starlight’s body with her eyes. The Main Six and the Princesses walked over with tears in their eyes, Pinkie’s mane was drooped, mascara ran down Rarity’s face, Applejack took her hat off and put it to her chest in respect, Rainbow tried to hide her tears by looking the other way. “No...” Twilight sobbed she she sat there and picked Starlight up in her hooves, “Starlight!”. Everypony watched as Twilight hopelessly tried to wake Starlight up, they didn’t know what to do or say. Twilight lightly shook her friend to get her to wake up. “Come on, Starlight! Say something, anything!” Twilight sobbed, “Please!”. Some of her tears fell onto Starlight’s chest. “She’s gone” Luna sobbed. Spike rushed in with tears in his eyes expecting Twilight to be dead, Trixie and Sunburst galloped after him. His face lit up when he saw Twilight but it fell immediently when he noticed Starlight’s lifeless body in her hooves, chest wet from her tears. Trixie froze in shock, Sunburst put a hoof to his mouth. Spike walked up and gently touched Starlight, where the blast hit was stained in her own blood so her touched her hoof instead. “Starlight...” Spike softly sobbed. “Starlight!” Both Trixie and Sunburst shouted as they ran over to Twilight. Twilight laid the corpse of the floor, more of her tears fell on the floor and Starlight’s hooves. She watched as her heart ached, Sunburst and Trixie also had tears in her eyes. “What do you do!?” Trixie asked angrily. “Trixie” Sobbed Sunburst, “Do you really-“. “Why would you take my friend away from me!” Trixie shrieked. Twilight didn’t say a word, she knew that Trixie was going through the stages of grief, she didn’t blame her for yelling at her, she wished she could have done something. Tears poured from Trixie’s eyes as Sumburst held her back from attacking Twilight. “Starlight!” She shrieked as she wiggled from his grip. Sunburst wiped his tears as Trixie hugged Starlight close, not caring about the blood getting onto her. Her tears fell onto her friend. “Starlight...” She cried, she looked at Twilight angrily. “I’m sorry Trixie... she-she jumped in front of us to take the blast... I wish I could have done something” Twilight sobbed. Trixie put Starlight down and cried into her hat, Sunburst gave her a hug, she hugged him back and cried heavily. Twilight sat there sadly, Celestia gave her a hug with her wings and hooves, tears came from her eyes too. “I’m sorry...” Celestia cried trying to confront her former student. A day had past and all of Starlight’s friends, including everyone from her old town and the Princesses attended Starlight’s funeral. Everypony wore black and white, not even Rarity was wearing something all fashionable and fancy. Tears were shed by everyone, Trixie and Twilight were hit the hardest, they cried for days after the death of Starlight Glimmer.
TrixieView OnlineSacrificesTrixieTwilight looked around wondering who sacrificed themselves, it took her a while to see a familiar lifeless body near the cave wall. “Trixie!?” Twilight asked, confused. The Main Six watched Twilight walk over slowly, Flutterhy was crying while Applejack confronted her. “Did she just?” Twilight said quietly as she approached her. Trixie’s hat laid on the ground near where she ended up, her cape had a stain from her blood along with being slightly tattered from the blasting beam. The cave was silent until Spike, Starlight and Sunburst arrived, Starlight looked around before noticing her friend. “It’s over? Is everpony- Trixie!” Starlight shrieked as she saw her friend lifeless on the cold ground. Starlight ran over to her, she sat down and stared in disbelief. Luna noticed a tear roll down her sister’s cheek and Twilight look at Starlight regretfully. Pinkie’s mane went all flat when she saw Starlight’s face, Applejack bowed her head in respect. “Trixie!” Starlight cried. Tears started to roll down her cheek as she picked her friend up in her hooves. Spike gulped not knowing what to say or do, he walked up to Twilight. “Did Trixie...”. “Yes, Spike” Twilight choked on her tears, “She did... she saved us”. “Trixie! Wake up!” She cried as she shook her friend hoping for a reaction. Sunburst walked up to her, “Starlight she’s gone...” He regretfully replied. “No!” Starlight shouted, “Trixie!, this is a trick right!? It’s not funny, please!”. “Starlight...” Twilight said softly. Tears from Starlight dripped onto the mare she was holding, she could not believe her friend was gone. “Trixie...” Sobbed Starlight, “Please... anything! I’ll teach you any spell you want, I’ll never get angry at you again, I promise! Pinkie promise! Please just open your eyes...”. “She saved us...” Twilight was still surprised, “She sacrificed herself to save everypony!”. Starlight hugged her friend tight and burst into tears. She couldn’t believe she was gone. “Please! I don’t want to lose you! You’re my friend!” Stardust begged, she didn’t hear or feel any pulse, movement, breath or heartbeat. Her ears dropped when she realised that her friends, indeed, was dead, there was no bringing her back, she did such a selfless thing. Starlight just wished she could have at least said goodbye. “T-Trixie-e-e” Starlight sobbed hard as she hugged her friend’s lifeless body. “Nooooo!”. A month had past since Trixie’s death and funeral, Starlight was a bit better but still missed her friend dearly. Starlight kept most of Trixie’s belongings, especially her wagon and outfit. Trixie was buried at a very special place where she’d be recognised as the hero that she was, get the love she deserved after everything she did, she saved Equestria. She might not be around anymore but her dream came true, she was widely known, popular and famous. Author's Note Gonna try to make this one longer...

Twilight, Luna, Celestia and Cadence were visibly beaten up, bruised, messy and chained to the ground by shackles on their hooves, their magic was also drained. Twilight’s element of harmony, magic, was in its crown just out of hoove’s reach. The rest of the Main Six were no where to be seen, they were less deep in the cave trying to find their way to the princesses. In front of them was a large dark quadriple figure with claws, possibly a giant dragon. “I-I’m sorry... I failed everypony” Twilight sobbed. Celestia sighed, she put a wing around her former student trying to calm her down. “No Twilight... there’s nothing we could have done... we did what we could...” Celestia let tears fall from her eyes. All four of them knew what was about to come, this blast was going to end them. Luna put her muzzle on her sister’s wing and sobbed hard, Cadence hugged Twilight the best she could with the chains and shackles around her. The blast in the mouth of the dragon got bigger and brighter. Tears poured from their eyes as they watched the incoming blast, only to see a silhouette jump out in front of them after shouting. “No!”. The blast hit them instead sending them flying to the wall behind the princesses, the Main Six ran towards them, the elements on their necks. Twilight grabbed her crown and put it on, all the elements glowed lighting up the room in a rainbow glow and it lifted the ponies up. A rainbow blast violently hit the beast making it vanish into nothing, the Main Six proudly landed back onto the the stones ground, the princesse’s shackles were broken and magic restored. Twilight smiled as she looked at her friend. Twilight looked around for whoever sacrificed themselves, deep inside she hoped that they didn’t die “This war wouldn’t have ended like this if it wasn’t for”
