My Little Pillow
Hitch tried his best to escape the room. Not that you can call it a room. It was bigger than his house! The ceiling was so high up, he actually mistook it for the sky. The doors leading towards the en -suite and the doors you enter to access the room were huge and unnecessarily decorated and adorned with gems and gold.
Though the bed was comfy and the carpet was soft he had to get out of here. He came to get Sunny and that Unicorn but instead got caught by a patrol of Pegasus. He heard that Sunny and Izzy got caught but escaped the next day with the Pegasus queen’s crown. Apparently they are still at large. Ha! Even the thought of Sunny Starscout doing something like that made him laugh. The Queen Haven obviously was not amused. After that he was told his ‘fate’ would be decided and since last night he was cooped up in this room.
He did not sleep of course, every moment he tried to escape. The windows were out of the question. It was a sheer drop to the ground, which was about over 500 meters down. Who builds a castle on a mountain? He tried to break the doors but almost ended up breaking his legs. In the end desperation got to him and even went as far to attempt to dig through the marble floor. The daftest idea ever conceived by pony kind.
Hitch sighed. It was morning now and all he could do now is wait for his sentence. Was he scared? Nope. Was he terrified? Hell yes. He did not show it, obviously, being trained as a sheriff he knew how to stay calm in situations like this. It’s not like they are going to execute me right?
Hitch immediately flinched as the doors began to open. This is it, do not break, they will try to break you but you will not, you are Sher-
Hitch immediately broke from his mental encouragement as he looked at the pony in front of him. What is the princess doing here? Hitch knew there were two princesses as they were always by the queen’s side. He knew their names but did not know which one was which.
Hitch went into an awkward bow. “Greetings your Highness, may I ask what are you doing here.”
The princess chuckled. “You are such a gentle colt! I always thought Earth ponies were barbaric in manners.”
Hitch’s eye twitched. She still did not answered his question. Play it safe
“Princess has my sentence been decided?”
The Pegasus princess, much to Hitch's surprise, jumped up and down, fluttering her really fluffy wings as the doors closed behind her and jumped on to the bed.
“Yes it was,” she said happily. “Originally you were supposed to serve a life sentence-”
Hitch blanched at that.
“- but I, Princess Pipp Petals, managed to persuade my mother to a less harsh sentence.”
Huh. So she was Princess Pip. The princess of pop, according to the bit of gossip he heard from the guards. What matters though is that she managed to help reduce his sentence and that puts her in his good books.
“So… do have to do community service or-”
Pip let out a small smile. “You are officially my personal pillow!”
Wut?
“A pillow?”
“Yes! you see I have trouble sleeping in the night and my stuff teddy bears don’t help one bit.” She then looked at Hitch, biting her lip. Why is she looking at me like that? “But you on the other hoof, fit my criteria perfectly ! Your coat is fluffy and your body is in great shape and you look so cute!”
Hitch did not like this one bit. “Can’t you just sleep with one the guards then?”
Pip waved her hoof. “My mother said I cannot sleep with other ponies until I am ready.”
“But I am a pony!”
Pip scoffed. “No you not, I do not see wings on you.”
Ouch that was extremely offensive and downright racist
The princess made a motion for Hitch to come on the bed. “Hurry up pillow!” Her voice teasing him. This is disturbing
The only way I am going to end up on that bed with her is when Tartarus freezes over…
“If you don’t I will have you imprisoned for the rest of your tiny earth pony lifespan.”
…or if she threatens me with loneliness for the rest of my life
Hitch sighed as he slowly got onto the bed. He was about a head taller than her and he finally confirmed the rumors himself that her wings are extremely fluffy. Totally irrelevant information Her eyes were also a lovely shade of green. Also totally irrelevant.
“Now what?” He said, rather grumpy.
Hitch yelped in surprise as she pushed him down on the bed, lying down on his side and wrapping her hoofs around his body. “Sooooo comfy! Just like I thought it would.”
Hitch gritted his teeth. “How long do I have to do this?”
“Until I wake up for the morning,” she said as she buried herself deeper into his neck.
“But it is morning.”
“If you noticed I did not sleep last night because some earth pony was in my room.”
Hitch let out a huge sigh…again, he has been doing a lot of sighing these days. “So all I have to do is lie still?”
“Like a pillow.” Pipp said contently. “Like a pillow.”
The whole day passed with Pipp sleeping on him. She changed her position about every one hour. At first she was hugging him by his side but then she somehow, in her sleep, ended up on top of him, her face buried in his chest. Her breath tickled him a bit and he could not deny the blush that was forming on his face. She was a beautiful mare.
Her next position was her back on top of him, making him the first in pony kind to breath hair. Were no Pony kind has gone before? Oh how he sighed in relief when she finally changed her position, but to his horror her face was now nuzzling into his cheek, continuously. He would be lying if he did not mention how relaxing and heartwarming it was. A mare in his forelegs, who in turn wrapped hers around his…ash so romantic….. Snap out of it Hitch !
Hitch was dog tired when by the time the sun was going down but of course he could not sleep. Sleeping beauty has to wake up first before he could retire to bed…wherever said bed was. He’ll ask when Princess Pipp wakes up.
“OH, what a lovely sleep!” Ah she is finally awake
“Well, see you tomorrow Princess” said Hitch as he eagerly tried pry out Pips hoofs of his body…that did not budge.
“Where do you think you going?” said Pip as she whispered into his ear. “I’m not done with you yet.”
Hitch gulped. “W-W-What do you mean not done yet?”
“Let’s just say I am still tired”
“B-But that was not part of the de-”
Hitch was interrupted by a hoof on his mouth. “The deal was that you sleep during the day and act as my pillow for the night. It is now night, if you noticed.”
Hitch's ears folded back. He was so tired.
“Lie on your side,” ordered Pip. Hitch did as he was told. what kind of torture is she planning?
Hitch felt her body as she went over him, laying opposite towards him, staring into his eyes. “Come closer” She softly whispered. “Closer.”
Hitch obeyed until their coats were touching each other, the muzzles barely touching…Pip slowly wrapped her hooves around his sides, pulling herself against his chest, and burring her muzzle into his neck. “Good night Earth pony.”
Hitch felt the tiredness taking him into the realm of sleep.
“Good night Princess.”
“Equestria to hitch! Wake up!”
Hitch groaned as he rubbed his eyes. “What?”
Sunny chuckled. “Come on sleepy head, finish your coffees before it gets cold.”
Hitch stared at his cup of coffee and then his surroundings. He was in Maritime bay. It seemed that everything was just a nightmare. Whew….
Hitch felt a small bump on his muzzle. “Seriously Sunny.”
Sunny pouted. She looked so cute when she pouted….
“What?” Sunny said blushing.
“Just realizing again how cute you really are.”
That only made her blush harder. They had been dating for a week now, ever since the ‘cell incident’, Hitch confessed his feelings which delighted her and she immediately confessed by kissing him… in public. Stars above was that so embarrassing.
“You better get going,” said Sunny, her cheeks returning to normal. “You still need to return that cat you caught.”
Hitch looked down at his left leg where the cat was taking a nap. He was hunting the whole morning for the damn tom. “Oh well, see you tonight Sunny.”
“Do not forget to remind Sprout about tonight!”
“I won’t!”
Sunny bit her lip as she watched her stallion leave. She was planning something very special for him. That day is coming very soon.
