The My Little Spacefarers Files

A series of ancient files, from an almost forgotten spacefaring age, are found. The files follow 8 ponies in 4 different timelines. They try to solve whatever come their way, from a disease to an invasion.

I might do a sequel to this. Dunno, depends on many factors.

"This is Ensign Starscout! The Changelings have attacked Waystation Trottingham! Admiral Equinox told the scout ship Rainbow to get to the nearest battlecruiser."

*Hooves clopping on metal*
*Heavy breathing*

"Horseapples. Captain Caldera, please...I'm so sorry. I never meant for it to end this way. Forgive me."

*Metal screeching*
*Panting*
*Screams*
*Crying*
*Shouts*

"I've got...to download...this file...and...send it to the nearest..."

*Door fwooshes*

"Horseapples."

*Scuffling*

"I thought I saw someone come this way."

"You're getting space fever, nopony came through here."

"I swear I saw somepony come through here."

"Come on, the hive queen will be mad."

"Fiiiiiiiiiine."

*Door fwooshes*

"Horseapples, that was close. Just got to send this file. Come on...why does downloading always take so long? YES, finally! Lemme just stop thi..."

Starscout was a name I just couldn't put into a space fimfic. It's a perfect name!

"Whew, protocol has m'beat. Ah dunno if ah can survive any more of this. Ah wond'r what big br'ther is doin'"

*Sigh*

"Hey bro, t'day ah helped negotiate a tr'ty with the yaks. Good news, they have decided tah join the Unity. Y'all be proud of mah. Ah stayed true tah mah pr'mise. Ah sticked w'th P'ny C'mmand and rose tah the p'sition of Commandah."

*Shuffling*

"Imma just sit d'wn. The Unity has gr'wn larger 'ver the past d'cade. M'ny creatures have joined, 'cludin' the yaks. Adm'ral Shower really likes this deal. The yaks pr'mised tah show us how tah make Yakium. The str'ngest metal s'nce Bulkium."

*Sneeze*

"S'ry 'bout that. Got a bit of a cold. Anyways, ah hope yer doin' b'tter. Flux out."

"Ahh, crewpony Syrup. Your station will be over there next to crewpony Fit."

"Hello, my name's Syrup. We're neighbours!"

"Are you logging right now?"

"Logging?"

"Yeah, lemme just fix this..."

"The ponies of the Sunset are a hardy crew, couldn't be more proud of them."

*Hiccups*

"Good news Admiral, the Sunset and the Twilight were successful in our attempts to make peace with the griffons. They were hostile at first and apparently only respect strength. I was more then happy to oblige to show them our arsenal."

*Drinks*
*Swallows*
*Sigh of contentment*

"Storm ale is good stuff. Anyways, the griffons have agreed to join the Unity. Pony Command will be happy with this, I suppose."

*Hiccups*

"Do me a favor, will you Admiral? Tell Binary he was right, he'll know what it means."

*Swishing liquid*

"Weeeeeee, happy new year Admiral! Imma join my crew now...just gotta press the stop button..."

"ENSIGN, GET BACK TO YOUR POST! The Luna is not done yet! We just have to hold till our sister ship gets here!"

"Lieutenant! I just got word that the Celestia is under attack. They can't come."

*BOOM*

"FUCK THOSE GRIFFONS!"

*Grumbling*
*Intercom crackles*

"Ponies of the EQS Luna, Celestia is not coming to our aid. We are on our own. Our Captain has bailed ship, and our Commander is in the med-bay, but we are PONIES AND WE WILL STAND IN THE FACE OF DANGER!"

*Resounding roar of anger, heartache, and firm determination answered the Lieutenant*

"That, is how it's done."

*BOOM*

"Ensign Baguette, evasive manoeuvres. Fire at will, Lieutenant Gallen. These griffons will not defeat us!"

Baguette is based upon Lieutenant Paris in Star Trek Voyager. Gallen is based upon Lieutenant Worf in Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek the Next Generation.

"Today has been a hassle. We got held back by the hoof-and-mouth disease. Many of my workers have reported sick. The starship Celestia, the first of it's kind. Guess it'll have to wait."

*Deep breath*

"13 earth ponies, 3 unicorns, and 19 pegasi. All of them sick, all of them good workers. Is space travel really worth it?"

*Fast forwards*

"Just had a drink to calm my nerves. Wild Pegasus, always there to help me. Don't tell this to Admiral Whistle about this, he'll be furious."

*Drinks*

"Ahhh, that hit the spot. So I've been thinking, the Storm Creatures have been helping us with our spacecraft and they do it all for free. What's in it for them? If I remember my history correctly, and I think I should, got top marks in my class, the Storm King took over Equestria. Sure, Twilight converted them, with the help of Fizzlepop, after the Storm King was defeated. But, what's in it for them? Why are they helping us?"

*BOOM*

"FUCK YOU GRIFFONS! I SPENT TO MUCH TIME FIXING THIS CELESTIA DAMNED SHIP!"

*Sigh*

"32 missions into deep space. Carrying goods across the universe. Those were good times."

*Beep*

"Fuck. Deck 14 through 18 have been flushed. Admiral, Equestria needs to know the truth. Why the griffons broke away from Unity. Fuck protocol, fuck Pony Command. Equestria deserves the truth. Captain...Captain needed to know the truth."

*SHRAAAAAAAA...FWOOM*

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT...nononononono, shit. Admiral, fuck you..."
