The Commander and the Chancellor
First Fight as Friends
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThere was a knock at Neighsay's office, which inside was the tall, lanky stallion with a maroon robe, neat mane, and a clipboard and ballpen that were levitated.
"Enter." Neighsay answered. He looked behind him and saw his beloved friend, Tempest, who was in her poncho and scarf as always. "Tempest, *scoffs* long time, no see."
"Until now I guess... I was just here for something. And you might not want to hear it." Tempest said.
"What do you mean?" Neighsay asked her.
"Look, please, I don't need you to hear this." Tempest said.
"Just tell me!" Neighsay told her.
"Okay, I have been late at practices many times, and many gurads caught me spending time with you, even Grubber, they told me I have been spending time with some distraction, Grubber was right at first, you were just a random pony!" Tempest told him.
"What's wrong with it?" Neighsay asked her. "Why they call me a random pony!?" Neighsay asked her, and he was about to blow.
"I didn't know why I chose to be friends with you! If I didn't became one to you, then this situation wouldn't have happened." Tempest said.
"Then if I became friends with you, I would have saved you from those ponies who chased you months ago! If I was a distraction to you, then why did you even chose us to be friends in the first place!?" Neighsay got furious at her.
"Huh? Now it's my fault!? Don't blame me, you should have disagreed and continue to fight like dogs and cats!" Tempest talked back.
"Maybe this why your so-called friends betrayed you! You turned into a traitor, a Mad Pony!" Neighsay shouted at her.
"Woah! If I was the distraction in the first place, I would have disagree with some dumb request!" Tempest shouted back.
"After seeing you in such a cape that looked like a criminal, I would have got a glass shard!" Neighsay yelled.
"Oh? Really? What I could do better is one kick will break more than a limb!" Tempest yelled back.
"I didn't know why I chose you to be friends... I shouldn't have gone with someone in this attitude!" Neighsay said.
"Even yours as well!" Tempest shouted.
"Don't even try to face this chancellor with those eyes!" Neighsay said.
"Oh, then what are you gonna do? Stare at me!?" Tempest shouted.
"I had enough! Don't even think you're not in trouble!" Neighsay said.
"C'mon, stare at me if you want to! I can't take it anymore as well, I DIDN'T KNOW WHY I CHOSED TO BE FRIENDS WITH A SOMEONE WHO WAS ROTTEN TO THE CORE!" Tempest shouted.
"DON'T EVEN TRY TO TO TEST MY PATIENCE, YOU TRAITOR! YOU CAUSED A PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! SO DON'T TRY TO TAKE THAT BREATH EVER AGAIN! I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN YOUR FRIEND IN THE FIRST PLACE! We couldn't be in this mess if you weren't so pigheaded!" Neighsay shouted at her with his very loud and clear Canterlot voice.
Tempest got shocked... and saddened at the same time. She looked down away from him. Neighsay saw those sad, averting eyes pouring out a tear. Neighsay had pity for her. Since he felt this feeling before, he just went near Tempest and hug her gently. Those beautiful eyes, shimmering aqua hue's cause for its reflection... was those tears. He never knew she sould be this hurt emotionally.
"Look... what I said... I got carried away... I-I have no excuse." Neighsay took a deep breath and started to say those 2 words. "I'm Sorry."
Tempest was just sniffling and crying like a quiet bunny. She tried to control her tears, but she couldn't, she would just return the hug to Neighsay.
"It's okay, Neighsay, I'm okay."
"Doesn't look like you are." Neighsay said, as he wipes a tear from her eye carefully, since this was the eye that had a scar on it. He then wipes it off her face and caress her neck. She sniffed a bit and showed that smile that Neighsay was expecting.
"That smile... You should get used to it." Neighsay said to her.
"I think I have made a right choice to be friends in the first place."
"I think you should go to practice now, you're almost late." Neighsay winked at her.
"And I forgive you, Neighsay, I owe you an apology too." Tempest said, as she gave him a last hug. Sometimes friendship isn't just about love, sunshine and bonding, but also negative emotion. That's why friends should learn how to go through it.
