1 The First Beast Appears - Mew, Sin of Curiosity
"Spoiler, We All Die In The End." ~ Atticus
It was a normal day in Canterlot. Celestia, was walking through the Garden's, staring at the Sun, contemplating if she made it too hot today. But that would be the least of her worries soon. But not yet.
So she wondered about the sun's warmth, and let her mind wonder, worrying about Today's day court which would be starting soon. Because she was distracted, she didn't notice a invisible creature floating above her. Now most ponies wouldn't be able to notice an invisible creature either way, but this was Celestia.
She had lived for many centuries, and while it hadn't happened in some time, assassins' were nothing she wasn't used too. Granted, they couldn't turn invisible, but she had developed a sense which allowed her to know when somebody was approaching. Quite handy for stealing cake without any of the chefs noticing. Luna even posted a notice to not allow any of the servants to bring her any! She wasn't putting on any weight, it was the dress she swore that made her look fat!
The invisible entity now decided it was time to revel itself. It was a cat like creature, with no fur and pink skin, as well as a long thin tail that was as long as its body. It floated a few feet above Celestia, before making its presence known.
"Howdy!" It said through a telepathic link. This unfortunately startled her, and reflexively fire a stunning spell at it. It hit, and sent the Pink creature spinning comedically through the air, and through a window.
The world seemed slowed down as she thought through what just happened. 'A pink creature suddenly appeared in front of me. The spells in place around the castle should have warned me of an intruder, but it slipped past. It seemed non-hostile, but it snuck up to me! It could have attacked me while I wasn't paying attention, but it didn't. I fired a stunning spell, which sent it into...' She looked at the broken window, 'The Female Servants Changing Room"
Time seemed to speed up again, and their was a single moment of pure, unbroken silence, before she heard,
"Uhhh.... This is a Accident?"
The creature sounded unsure, as if it too, was processing what just happened.
"AHHH!" A Monster!" "Worse, A PERVERT!" several female voices screamed, which were heard throughout the entire castle.
"Wait! I swear this is a Misunderstanding!"
'Why is their a window to the Girl's Bathroom in the middle of the Garden, where people could look in?' Celestia wondered. Then she remembered who designed their castle. A famous pervert, she shuddered when she recalled when she discovered a secret passage to their room.
She was brought out of her rather embarrassing thoughts when she heard a loud, resounding, SLAP! Celestia Winced, as more shouting and fighting could be heard, before the pink creature was thrown out the window, and landed on the ground. It now supported many bruises, and had swirls for eyes, and look as though it had fainted.
Celestia inwardly wondered how she got into this situation. She was sitting next to the pink creature, as it now supported many bandages and and arm sling from Faust-knows-where. The creature had its arm's crossed, and was pouting. She idly contemplated having the creature arrested, but immediately threw the thought out. It hadn't shown any malicious intent, and she did fire a stunning spell at him, so she felt he deserved the benefit of the doubt. After a few more seconds of silence, she relented.
"I'm terribly sorry for the spell, but you startled me."
The creature sighed. :Well its partially my fault for not announcing my pretense. But you didn't have to blast me with magic!"
"Then can we start over?" she asked
"Deal"
"Then why are you here? What are you? How are you floating?" She asked. .She had been contemplating these questions ever sense she saw it.
"For your second question, I'm what is called a Mew, but my kind has long sense gone extinct."
"My Condolences"
"Eh, It was a Millenia ago, I've come to terms with it. For your third question, telekinesis is a natural ability of my kind, and doesn't require magic to use. For your first question, I've come to warn you that your world is ending."
Huh?
This was not how Celestia expected her day to go at all. She was currently sitting on at a table in the garden. "What is this about world-ending beasts?" She asked. The creature, Mew, insisted they talk over some tea.
"Well, what do you know about Gods"
"That's a broad question. I've read lots of folklore and legends, if that's what you mean." she answered.
"Well, their kinda not legends."
"What?"
"Gods are real. Well, most of them died off, but still."
Celestia was shocked. Then she immediately doubted what Mew was saying.
"Can you prove this?" she asked.
"Yes, but not right now. Basically, millions of years ago, gods walked the earth. Due to 3 main events, they eventually died, out, ending the time known as the age of the gods, and starting the age you live in now, the age of ponies."
(For those fgo and fate wiki readers, yes, i know about the age of faries, but that will come in later.)
Celestia and Mew had a lengthy and heated discussion, which would lead Celestia to write a letter to a certain princess, telling her to gather the elements and come to the castle immediately.
In a large floating temple, huge trees and pillars made of flesh and eyes grow, centering around a white, marble throne.
Upon the throne sits a man in white and red robes, with ling white hair braided into a ponytail. His arms are covered in runes and symbols, with gold arm bands on each arm, and 10 gold rings.
He looks amused, before looking into the white, infinite sky, where thousands of tendrils of light encircle the domain, each with the power to obliterate a planet.
"So it begins. The Beginning of the end." he said with an emotionless face.
"Soon All 666 Beasts will descend upon the world, and end it. The World has changed so much sence we last ruled it. Don't you agree, Goetia?"
In the center of the moon, a huge, hulking white titan slumbers. She stir's, before thousands of whispers, some human-like, some in strange, demonic languages, lull the creature back to sleep. But the voices know they can't keep this up for much longer. She has been waking up too often. It's only a matter of time till she wakes.
In the dark void, a man stirs. Covered in thousands of markings, Angra Mainyu awakens.
"So its that time?" The man Chuckles.
"The Poor Bastards don't know what's coming. I almost feel sorry from them. I mean, having to face the real Angra
Mainyu? They won't know what hit them." He starts chuckling, before breaking out into full blown laughter.
"Its funny. The end of time has just begun." ~ Bob Dylan
