My Little Pony: Student Six Timeskip AUby damiranc1ChaptersChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 5Chapter 6Chapter 7Chapter 4Chapter 1Author's Note (YES! I finally thought of a perfect concept for my second story! This time no removals!) In this AU some couples never married each other, or married somepony completely different. G5 tag for one character that appears here. That's why this AU exists in a first place. Enjoy! Chapter 1 Twilight Sparkle moved on with her viability, her knowledge, and her entity from journeys with her horde and kind of friends and came smarter, chary, and meticulous than ever became. After Legion of Doom was striped out of their power, petrified, and deposited somewhere in a royal garden, there was such a time in Equestria that no passable amount of enemies showed up. It carried a sufficient benefit for the Mane 6. No danger nor chauvinistic vital forces taking nourishment and nurturing on the slavery of mortal beings, steering clear from healthy morals drawing breath around the corner. It meant only one thing, retirement from herocracy for the greatest stretch of time. The fresh monarch after Royal Sisters' retirement, princess Twilight Sparkle moved onward with their reign. As her first diplomatic venue, she chose Mount Aris as this one apology for Queen Novo for stealing the pearl. The queen of hippogriffs forgave the purple bookworm, not it's like she didn't forgive the pony princess before, but because her daughter encouraged her to do so. Twilight Sparkle didn't leave immediately. Her eye caught a flying guard, with which she had not deliberately caught with her wing. A male azure peer hippogriff. As lost in his profession as she was, he managed to regain a great posture of things he protected. His name was Sky Beak. His playful attitude and farcical polite manners told the purple alicorn everything about how he really seemed. That's why Twilight Sparkle fell in love with this phony full of baloney hippogriff dork. First, they started knowing each other better whilst dating, then when they got to know each other well enough, the couple took themselves to the altar and got engaged in Ponyville. Their chemistry was equal and beautiful. One year passed, Twilight and Sky sat on the bench and were staring at couples with strollers. When all was said and done, both strongly agreed on the conception of bearing a family together, as Celestia and Luna also gave a nod of approval on this aspect. The beautiful day made progress the moment little Silverstream arrived at this world. Dork as her daddy and taking the same species as him, the slightly purple bird horse had some skeletons in her closet, thanks to the influence of Auntie Pinkie, whose modus operandi Princess Silvy took an example during babysitting. The duo got along really well. By pulling pranks on their relatives, it was no wonder why the little friendship princess was grounded almost all the time. ...But at least... Silverstream had something to do. The second newborn got a name Terramar, also hippogriff bothered more seriously about proving to be good, but cut loose about being royalty as much as his older sis. The younger sibling was just like his mother; an avid reader, that nearly combed all the shelves from content, to find a perfect book for himself. Terramar always looked up for a good title he can take and lonely snooze above during the nights in his bedroom. The third foal was a pony, however, not an alicorn like his mother, but... earth pony that inherited some of hippogriffs fluff on the tiny chest. He was called Argyle Starshine and was loved the most by his parents, not because he was just born recently, but thanks to his personality. The viewpoint of his daddy, but the smartness of his mommy. One word: Perfect. Due to being a toddler unable to fly, the earth pony descendant was kept under surveillance most of the time. His greatness couldn't be wasted. Let's move on with a different member of Mane 6... Oh, I know! Fluttershy! The yellow pegasus tarnished down her relationship with Discord after the entire Grogar and Mean 3 situation, but still left her cottage for him as some kind of amends. The entity of chaos appeared heartbroken at his best friend's wedding, with a breaking point at a shy pony swearing her love to the prince of changelings, Pharynx, that won back her heart in exchange for Discord's delayings. It didn't mean that Fluttershy detached the draconequus from her life. As the yellow pony mothered and raised her own changeling filly with a precious name she granted for her, Discord ended up appointed as little one's babysitter. At first, he miserably despised Ocellus and yelled at her for even mirroring the behavior of his beloved. Fluttershy scolded him every time he did that to her daughter. After all. It made a little bookbug downcast and scarred from happiness to a very low-esteem caused by the all stress preserved in her mind. Ocellus' daddy, Pharynx was also not amused at Discord's doing. With a stern order, the adult changeling forced the draconequus to leave, before Fluttershy had a lot of better choices, do to do for the safety of her grub. The yellow pony had an idea. Better than those her husband could come up with. Fluttershy offered Discord to stay, but on one condition. Avoid getting distressed, while in the meantime, try to learn things differently from Fluttershy that her daughter likes. In the end, let him tell everything about Ocellus' likes and dislikes from his own memory. That is a better move, is it? The entity of chaos pandered to pegasus' motivations, simply understanding that he needs to distance himself from the family that was not even his, but he stopped thinking about that. With some time, Discord began accepting Ocellus and her privileges, as if he realized chattering is more valuable than getting angry. First and foremost, he was the reason for this disaster. The little changeling was flabbergasted after a sudden change in... "Uncle's" behavior. Surprisingly, to top of that, she started calling him "uncle", as If she was regaining all the trust in his direction and starting to accept his freakiness as a part of her life. It was a pleasure, that Ocellus started getting along well with him. Even better, Fluttershy was really happy, that her daughter stopped shuddering for ridiculous reasons and at least calmed down. Pharynx still remained grumpy toward the chaos creature. Still with not enough trust in draconequus direction. he kept Ocellus as an overprotective father could. Chapter 2The first day in The School of Friendship 8 years later blossomed like a field of violets and other lofty flowers, as Headmare Starlight was back at her paperwork to greet the garden-fresh saplings, aka students like colts, fillies, and extra creatures of different heritage, that enrolled there. The building showed off with its prime like it used to nigh on a decade ago. Thanks to the dazzling endowments of Prince Blueblood and the foreign rulers some months after the defeat of the nasty trio, The School of Friendship with such good supplies had no obstacles for applying for their status as a public school. Not only, but also mandatory education for every born creature around the globe. Specifically, the school offered a speech therapy for Yak youngsters, who often manifested a disgusting third-person dialect. ...And that's how the system presented itself. The orange teenage pegasus watched over her 8-year-old blue griffon nephew, gently giving her way for yak parents of a little calf named Yona, whose reason of being there were actual lisp problems of her tonations. The chickub quirked an eyebrow, as he stared at the little bovine moving along with her parents in a shared similar pace of movements. Then, he glanced at his right and spotted a little hippogriff hovering above her lavender alicorn mom. "Scoots? Is this Princess Twilight Sparkle I heard a lot from mommy?" Scootaloo picked up her attention on the sky. "No, birdbrain," she chuckled and moved his head forward. "...It's her daughter, Princess Silverstream. Twilight Sparkle is the purple pony right there..." The young griffon rolled his eyes and looked behind. The green color with a lime outline of head drowned out every part of his eyesight. "Who ARE you supposed to be?" "Oh," the green earth pony colt looked above from his books and awkwardly smiled. "It's my game to introduce myself, Sandbar's my name. The only child of Big Macintosh and Sugar Belle, and the great-grandson of Ponyville's founder. And I'm here to make some friends!" The blue chickub rolled his eyes once more. "Care to introduce yourself, then?" The young griffon sighed. "Gallus." "My family has a lot of those on their farm," Sandbar shook his head. "But only for eggs, we are all herbivores. Eating meat has frowned upon our society." "It's my name, you dolt." "Hold on," the wingless female orange dragon approached the duo, visibly snickering. "What!?" Gallus frowned. "Y-yy... You are named after A CHICKEN!?" "I didn't say anything..." the green colt disapproved, wretchedly placing a hoof on his chest. "IN THE HONOR OF APPLES! I PROMISE!" "Shut your beak, nerd..." "GAR-GAR I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" The 8-year-old griffon flushed in embarrassment watched the little dragon running and pausing next to the outwardly older red dragon. After whispering something in her brother's ear, he grinned. "Well, well, well." the red dragon pouted. "My sister is in a school with a chicken? What are those? A cooking class?" Gallus didn't care much about being called this way... right? Yep! He shrugged them off. The chickub appeared to be apathetic about taunts and was more curious about two Princesses being here with their own presence, than jagged overcooked shrimp laughing his haunches off on his name. A mother and her daughter, are equally pretty in their appearances. The school assembly gave the impression of exalted serenity of griffon's mind with their attendance. He was also proud of the fact that he was to share a class with the Princess's daughter, as a real gentle bird could. "Umm-my s-sincere apologies?" Gallus blinked and looked at his left. A frail very small cyan changeling with beetle-like armor on her back stood there accompanied by a larger dark-purple one with antlers. Interestingly, she had a lot of pillows stitched to her neck and chest with hairbands. "Fluttershy's daughter, I guess?" "...Y-yes... Y-you?..." "Rainbow Dash's..." the griffon nodded. "Welcome to the team. It bothers me. Why do you need all these pillows for?" "Safety reasons, kid," the adult dark-purple changeling replied. "My grubby is very fragile. Her wings are lighter than glass. Her heartless sheltered than a bunker." "...Changelings have hearts?..." "Yes, they do!" Sandbar showed off some shade with his knowledge. "From the point of view, they DO look like bugs, but, have genes from equine. Isn't that right, prince Pharynx?" "Isn't it actually the other way?" The green earth pony colt was interrupted by a slightly purple friendship hippogriff filly, who in the middle of her flying, bumped into silhouettes of Gallus and himself. For Pharynx's luck, Silverstream avoided getting Ocellus on her way, as the little changeling was fine and unscathed. "SILVERSTREAM!" the purple alicorn yelled out at the top of her lungs, while Headmare Starlight dwelled with silent chuckles hidden by her hoof. Twilight Sparkle reddened from anger and pulled her daughter up by her wing. Silverstream hissed in pain, as she was pulled in immediate eye contact. Her feathery cheeks puffed, trying to find a way to bail out of her mother's magic aura. The adult friendship princess appeared displeased by virtue of all the confusion spawned by her offspring. This little monster annoyed her more than once. "Say sorry." "B-BUT MOMMY! I was just making friends, I..." "Say... Sorry..." Twilight's eyelid twitched, her look stern. "...Otherwise, you will be grounded for a month..." Silverstream couldn't stand her pony mother's menacing gaze, but being grounded was like a shocker. She timidly chose to make a wiser decision. "I'm sorry... everyone... I was just... so excited to meet you..." As the situation in the corridor eased, Gallus and Sandbar dizzily raised on their quadrupedal positions. Gallus' aunt, Scootaloo, helped her griffon nephew regain consciousness. "Are you feeling alright, 'llus?" the orange pegasus asked. "I'm fine, ma'am." the changeling filly nodded. "Not you, grub. I'm talking to my chicken relative..." The young griffon facepalmed, but in less than a second, burst out laughing like an idiot. Sandbar still dazed, also let out a very loud giggle. In the present circumstances, Mr. Sunburst humbly announced to the microphone, that the school assembly took the plunge. Chapter 3(AFTER SCHOOL) Gallus and his aunt maneuvered their way through the crescents and boulevards of their homeland in Ponyville, to then find a way to the splendor of belonging home. And gratefully, it was all limited to the confused glances of the neighbors on balconies, who mistook the sweeping blue half-bird for the pigeon. Scootaloo, as always, stuck to the ground to strike with her sagacity, if something down there is alright. ...although there was no need, owing to the fact that the eight-year-old bragged with an amazing far-sighted ability for his quirky generation. Gallus inherited it from his mother. The pegasus teenager smiled, as her nephew landed right at the doorstep of the house, then stamped at one stair in the waiting phase. "Impatient much?" his aunt teased. "I carry it as a sign of precaution," the blue chickub replied annoyed. "I vowed to be a good student with those that stood next to my side." "I know..." she said, nudging him in the shoulder. "You did this in the middle of the street." The 8-year-old growled in response and out of spite, opened the door himself. "Easy there," Scootaloo assured. Gallus really was like a reflection of his own mother; crude, short-tempered, not pleasant, and with a thought, that nothing is worth his time. The only thing that separated them from the gulf was that her son was not a bully. The duo entered the common room, with different emotions taking their toll. Rainbow Dash greeted both, as they stumbled upon her in the kitchen. The bushy and colorful wonderbolt mane style of the pony stood still, probably thanks to the smuggling of various nutrients and gels into it. She was just 28 years old but seemed to skip two more decades indicated by her tiring eyebags. Probably from shallow stress. "Hi there, chicken wings!" she greeted both and flew closer to the doorstep. "How was your first day of school?" "Fine, Aunt Dashie..." the blue chickub retaliated gloomily. Sorrow ran over the blue "chicken's" head. The rainbow pegasus got a clue, why, but was left still available to her adoptive nephew's needs. The little griffon cub decided to stare up at his beloved caretaker. He raised his claw up and placed it back. The feathery boy hesitated. His aunt's mind couldn't make quite a sense, as she witnessed him blubbering and bleating under the orange fringe. "C-can I... Can I talk with mommy?" Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo were at the loss of words as if Gallus wanted to feel the fences of a fire. A terrible feeling must ask. However... Dashie knew how her little nephew cares about that. He carried a lot of pressure rolling down his shoulders. He didn't talk with his mom for months, while anypony else only brought a portion of food into the nooks and crannies of her room. I mean Gallus would have bitten his tongue like he didn't mean it. The blue mare's pink eyes lit up for an answer. "As you wish... But be careful... She also needs you..." Gallus silently nodded putting down his backpack in the corner of the very cold fridge. "Thank you so much, Auntie Dashie... I appreciate that..." The chickub straightly pushed himself forward and approached the door of his house's corridor. His aunt and her adoptive sister clung to him from behind. To ensure the safety of the young griff under care. The aunts followed the moment when Gallus placed his paws first. The little griffon scanned every picture and collage exhibited on the walls: From his hatch-day above any celebration throughout his very early childhood, and finally a photo with the family from an arcade store. While looking at them, he was walking on the fluffy carpet, a very warm and nice carpet. His aunts were amused by some of these. Gallus snarled unsmilingly and stopped at the wooden door some treads later. The rainbow pegasus stepped into action, pushing her favorite creature away from the doorknob. "I got this, Gallus." Rainbow Dash lifted her hoof and after thinking for a few seconds, knocked on the door. Scootaloo shivered, her instincts telling her to take her nephew and run. "Who's there?" the feminine voice echoed from inside. So inimical for pony ears, that would make Ursa bear look like a puppy. "It's me, Gil," the blue mare falteringly chose a team for a moment. "Dash." "Dash?" Gilda answered immediately, echoing across the walls. "I'm begging you! Please! Don't hate me! Don't turn away from me! I just desire to embrace the creature I love!" "Alright, my best friend! We are coming inside! Be prepared!" The pegasus mare could hear griffonesses' words aching out and genuinely being out of her own topic. Rainbow sensed something wrong and that's why she told her nephew to slightly back off. Just in case, to keep him away from the possibilities of his mother's madness. Speaking of the chickub's father. His name was Gustave Le Grande, a local baker who succumbed to his job. Gilda herself talked about meeting him back in the day of the defeat of the evil trio. She always guessed it happened somewhere in the middle of Twilight's coronation 8 years earlier. The only aspect Gilda remembered was a party made in the name of a freshly-crowned princess. From that moment on, she became something unrecognizable from that tough griffoness everypony knew. A very caring mother, with a little daydreaming problem, that really loved her chickub. It's just, that she once daydreamed so much she almost drowned her little one in his hatching time, by accident of course, which led to some drawbacks on her best friend and Scootaloo's trust with her caregiving. The door creaked with a loud sound, giving Gallus the prompt benefit of running to his mother and giving her a bear hug. "Be careful!" the blue mare scolded. "Howdy, my baby dweeb," she nuzzled him. "Is there anything you want to show me?" The 8-year-old griffon nodded happily, showing her what he carried on his back. A big textbook he got from The School of Friendship. "Wow..." Gilda smirked. "What a lovely journal!" Gallus pressed his face against the feathers on her neck. Gilda gave this hug in return, gently scratching his back in response. It was one of the most beautiful things seen by Rainbow Dash and her equally great sister. Chapter 5The houseplants in the classroom were flooded with mineral water to the brim, imitating the whole room which was filled with all sorts of students, occupying the rightful seats across the sea wave of the sides. The first ones, who arrived at the whereabouts (even before the bell rang) were none other than Sandbar and Ocellus. The honest bright-minded lads in the school. The other students took their places minutes after the metal thingy on the corridor screeched louder than anycreature thought. They sat in their seats as they waited for the teacher, chatting amongst each other and passing notes around. Yona, as the casual yak used to be, was already searching for butterflies in the windows out of boredom. Silverstream daydreamed about going outside and messing around in the river, while Ocellus got rightfully annoyed by her babblings. “Silence…” the changeling filly said dryly. “Teacher will be in the classroom right on time.” “Oh, worry not, insect pony,” Yona replied, taking her attention away from the window for a brief moment. After a few more minutes the teacher trotted into the classroom, directly causing them to quite down. “Hello, my students. Today is a wonderful day.” The face of the changeling filly told it all, when her dark cyan eyes, gave her a prompt benefit to change into one of the books on her desk. Her mother, Fluttershy sought for her daughter right after opening her eyelids in front of her desk. “Ocellus? My buggy? My dearest little ladybug?” Ocellus inaudibly begged her classmates to keep shut about her location, but much to her dismay, somescaly already witnessed her object metamorphosis. “Your ‘dearest little ladybug’ just shapeshifted into a studying exam, ma’am.” It was Garble, an 8-year-old red dragon with orange fins, who seemed to have a knack for strong taunts and just like his younger sister, teasing his classmates for no reason. Smolder snickered. Everyone stared and also lightly snickered as the young changeling shaped back into her pony-like form. Poor Ocellus could only flush in embarrassment and fix the pillows on her neck when her overprotective mother approached her desk to give her another foal-like nickname. “What is wrong, my beloved grub?” Yep, Ocellus already expected those funny words. "Nothing, mom. I just wasn't expecting you to be the teacher." Ocellus answered, causing the yellow pegasus to giggle slightly. Being able to sense her daughter's discomfort Fluttershy leaned and whispered in her ear. "Don't worry my sweet grub, I'll try not to embarrass you." Fluttershy trotted to the front of the room. The yellow mare pulled down a chart detailing the diet of a brown bear, its Latin name on top as well as what it eats and their most favorable habitat. Sitting next to the unsettled changeling, Yona brutely glared at Garble and friendly patted Ocellus on the back. “Insect pony not feel sadness. Yona also dislikes red fire lizard.” “My appreciation Yona.” the bugpony said. “Does anyone here know what is a favorite food of brown bears?” the adult pegasus gave her speech for a class. “What their diet consists of?” Fluttershy addressed this question, especially for her daughter, but the latter bizzarelly disregarded it with a murmur. The 8-year-old blue griffon chick raised his claw up instead. “Taking into account an omnivorous nature of these ursids, they are eating every kind of food, varying from berries to fishes. Just like Harry.” “Top effort, Gallus,” Fluttershy beamed with joy hearing that. “You seem more present in the subject this time." Fluttershy went on with her lecture, going over all of the foods these bears love to eat. Her lecture went on until the bell dismissed the class for lunch Students left the classroom and moved to the cafeteria. As a more carnivorous being like those bears he talked about, Gallus gained for himself a sliced ham sandwich. Ocellus, slightly disgusted by a piece of animal that the little griffon munched on and because of obtaining a more herbivorous lifestyle in comparison to her mother, took hold of a simple salad. It was a little challenging, due to the pillows. “What do you need sleeping marshmallows for?” the pink hippogriff asked curiously, taking out a plain peanut-butter sandwich. Still better than Sandbar’s meal. A single apple from his farm homeland. Frankly, he didn’t complain as he took a bite of the red fruit. Ocellus blushed as she put her salad on the table. "They're for me, my parents are super overprotective of me, so they try to babyproof everything." The female cyan changeling somehow managed to remove all the packaging of her meal and levitating plastic utensils in her magic aura, moved with her lunch. “They are very careful about my well-being…” “It's a pity your pony mom didn't bring you in a baby stroller,” The group moved their crooked expressions in a direction of a table some feet away. It was Smolder along with her older brother eating some gems, whilst having some free time to taunt other classmates. Funnily enough, the little changeling wasn’t moved by Smolder’s mocks at all, which wordlessly stupefied the rest of her group. “A baby stroller? Hm, I do not think it is such a bad idea.” "That was a joke," Smolder said, trying to get some rise out of Ocellus. “I know, I know!” the little changeling joyfully rose her breath in a situation like this and then grinned. “I’m just messing with ya.” “You horrid little…!” the young red dragon mumbled through his teeth leaping up from his seat ready to hurt his reformed changeling classmate. “I’m going to change you into a bug powder!” Such a harsh reaction from a small dragon didn’t really startle Ocellus at all. Uncle Discord taught her really well how to behave at situations like these. Thankfully, before the changeling could prepare her own secret weapon, something else happened. “Calm down, Gar-Gar!” the younger orange dragoness caught his elbow. “Cool down the scales…” The 8-year-old red dragon hatchling sighed, scratched his nostrils, and sat back next to his younger sister. “She made us look like fools with her pitiful throwbacks.” Except for that, the rest of the lunchtime went very calmly. MEANWHILE, IT WAS A NIGHTTIME IN THE DRAGON LANDS… The scream of fear echoed through all of the rocky badlands. This one sound assumed a screeching gecko, but one could be said it was one. The screech surrounded nearby areas for thirty seconds, directly before the parents of the little lavender dragon hatchling trampled the door and ran inside. “IS S-SOMETHING WRONG, S-SPIKEY!?” his mother was adorned with light blue scales and eyes in synonyms of grapefruity eyes. Her husband, a Dragon Lord of all scalies, an albino took matters into his own claws and searched for dangers around. Dragon Lady Ember wasted no time. She ran to her 4-year-old toddler son and drowned him in her motherly embrace. She instinctively heard him sobbing, while she looked at her other half and the father of her baby, Fizzle. Spike’s dad sniffed as his pink fins and eyes sharpened in a defensive state. He crawled across the room and then looked under the bed by picking up the covers. He was about to attack but held himself back the moment he saw nothing. “Na-uh, no monsters around.” “Mommy, daddy, I-I-I I’m s-s-so s-s-s-scared of those bad nightmares… That b-bad sir is lurking everywhere…” he gulped in distress. “M-make t-them s-stop… I beg you… I d-don’t w-want to have them. N-NO MORE!” Ember was terrified of how consciously her son was filling gaps in sentences and how terrified he was. Fizzle also stood by his son’s side, firmly waiting and listening by their side.to every of his word. That meant a sleepless night for them. Chapter 6The lessons led by Mrs. Fluttershy had concluded for today, and the lecture had left the students in her class with things to think about as well as some much-needed research. As the bell rang, the students left, chatting amongst themselves, their chatter becoming non-distinguishable as they left the room. As all of the younglings left the classroom, Yona gave a silent glare towards the red drake, who she had an occasion to meet by him embarrassing her buggy classmate. As Garble moved his way across the reflections of his presence on the shiny walls, Ocellus, rather proudly, made her trail to the exit to be greeted by a draconequus eating a bowl of popcorn. Her “uncle” Discord in the flesh. “Not this one dwarf, again…” Terramar said in concern, due to the nuisance Ocellus’ so-called uncle usually was. The hippogriff siblings were aware of who Discord was, as the magical creature sometimes teleported to their castle and helped their mother in raising either the sun or moon, while she was busy doing something else in her royal routine. “Howdy, Ocy!” the draconequus introduced himself to the cyan changeling filly, lightly amused by the red baby dragon’s behavior who walked beside him and then missed some steps in the trance of seeing Discord, while in the meantime going downstairs in slight fear. His younger sister followed behind. “Is there something I missed?” “But of course, uncle!” the changeling declared merrily until she suddenly flew to his ear and started whispering. Discord bent his face so he could listen. With some of his nods, the magical creature gave her some thumbs up, grinning. “I always knew you would take some qualities from rightful models.” Garble, as a dragon hatchling full of ego, couldn’t stand the humiliation and looked at someone giggling behind the shoulder. “Hey, what are you laughing about, turkey?” Silverstream and her little brother kept the giggles right away, the little red dragon staring daggers at their feathery silhouettes. The red lizard saw no sign of suspicion on their beaks, most likely because they quickly morphed into indifference. “Me? Na-uh. I’m just talking with my brother about the girliest things imaginable.” she trailed off a little bit, her chuckling getting monotonous and fake. “But I digress. I’m not laughing, nope.” “She’s telling the truth…” Terramar said as the orange baby dragon approached with her stare. The 8-year-old red dragon sensed someone following him behind. “Leave her alone…” the orange dragon said as she put a claw on her brother's shoulder. "You always do this, stop looking for a fight when there is none.” Garble rolled his eyes in reply. “Yeah, you are right, sis. Why should I bother talking with two turkeys?” “Yeah, me either.” As the siblings were about to head to the exit, a blue young griffon came closer to the pink hippogriff. “Are you alright?” he asked. "Yeah, they often try and pick fights," Silverstream replied. "Why don't you fight back, it's clear that words won't help?" Gallus said as Silverstream continued her business. "That's just not who I am, I don't feel like I need to fight him." Silverstream admitted. in her slower tone. “He is… just a dragon-kind of fellow.” “Absolutely, sis!” Terramar added. “They are just dragons and behave like dragons usually do.” “If you say so.” the blue griffon youngster didn’t mean to leave, as he was interested in knowing the brighter pink hippogriff better. “Hey, ya know… Princess, isn’t it?” Silverstream nodded. “Well, uh…” Gallus scratched his neck, awkwardly looking on the floor. "I was wondering if you'd like to hang out sometime, hit up sugar cube corner, or maybe catch a movie?" Gallus stuttered and blushed as Silverstream giggled. "You mean like a date?" Silverstream asked, causing Gallus to bite his lip nervously as he nodded. “Kind of.” the blue griffon said, just right before Terramar gave him a silly look, implying how much of thumbs up the light blue hippogriff was giving. Gallus desperately tried to ignore the gaze of the smarty bird and simply trailed off with a dazzled expression. “Anyways, your brother baffles me.” “Oh, do not mind him. He is just a smarty,” Princess Silverstream chuckled. “Always doing historical research to know about every creature.” “Aww, man…” Terramar groaned with puffy cheeks. “I see.” The blue griffon was not amused by wiggling “eyebrow-like” creamy furs above his eyes, so he can hide the blush. “But listen here… Do not treat it like something romantic. Just a friendly assembly. Got it?” Silverstream nodded, her blush less visible due to her rosy feathery coat. “Got it.” Deep in thought, the pink hippogriff pondered about how she didn’t notice this gentle bird earlier. Just a slow flow of memories allowed her to remember the name. “Is your name, Gallus?” “Yup.” the 8-year-old Gallus admitted to her question with a majestic bow, that made both the hippogriff siblings smile, imitating the Canterlot dialect as much as possible. “Can I acquire the whereabouts, where should we spend the time lazing around, eating popcorn and muffins?” While the dialect her mother usually spoke annoyed her, Silverstream guffawed at her classmate’s try, while Terramar was freaked out by the attempt of the older griffon. “Yes,” she glanced at her brother to ask. “Terry, do you want to come with us? Gallus will borrow some movies we can watch at the castle.” “Sorry sis,” the younger hippogriff shook his head. “I have better things to do than watching some boring tv shows.” “Your choice, Terry.” The trio moved out of the school at an uneven pace. Meanwhile, the cyan changeling still talked with her mother’s best friend. “Thanks, uncle for your attention, but I really need to go home now.” Discord furrowed his brow and smiled. “Do not need to worry about this, my little friend” With one simple finger snap, the changeling and her “uncle” found themselves back at her mother’s cottage. Ocellus’ dad, Pharynx just watched some boring newspapers as usual. His glance left the text. "You already home?" Chapter 7Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 4Twilight sprang off the bed in a rush hearing her son Argyle begin to lament in his sorrow as the toddler usually did muffle in the cradle. Her senses expanded their existence the moment she staggered into the duvet and groaned from indignation. Her spouse, Sky Beak, did not seem to be even slightly outraged by the phenomenon, but most likely still barely conscious, taken apart from his desired nap. It was obvious little Argyle Starshine inherited the power of screeching from him. Picking up the crying youngling, Twilight gently rocked him, cooing softly as she talked to the little earth pony. "It's alright little one, mommy's here." She spoke as she began to feed him with a bottle. As Argyle suckled on the pacifier of the bottle, the purple mare retired to a chair she kept in the room for such an occasion, the chair rocked as soon as she sat down in it and she then turned her attention to her husband. "I got this one, go back to sleep and you can take the next shift." The blue hippogriff with a very snowy mane refused to listen, still barely awake. “Yeah, yeah. I understand. How about… I’m just gonna walk around in the… case?” Twilight knew her beautiful hippo really really well. The moment Sky Beak said everything that tongue brought him, he already lost contact with reality. His feathery head stiffened, while his neck landed on the pillow. However, Sky Beak did not allow himself to be led into the abyss of dreams, the minute he sought something to keep him awake. “I think I need some coffee.” The queen of friendship was not amused. "Sky, please, I got this. You need to rest." “Nah, I’m fine.” he rolled his eyes. Twilight rebutted as she led her husband to their bed and made sure he fell asleep. Argyle finally calmed down and fell asleep as well, Twilight gently put him back in his crib and joined her husband in getting some sleep. The next morning, as usual, began with the traditional sequence of the sun entering the windows of the house with Silverstream and Terramar entering the kitchen while pushing themselves into the conversation. “You like any of your classmates, sis?” Terramar asked. “Yes, I do.” the pink hippogriff filly replied searching for a reason from her little brother to think this way. “Why shouldn’t I?” “Well, ya know…” the white pre-teen hippogriff tapped his chin. “I heard yaks don’t use shampoos and stink like Mr. Big Mac’s barn.” Silverstream quirked an eyebrow. “Pardon? Are you saying Yona smells like hay?” Terramar nodded and immediately began translating his speech. “Dunno, but I can guess so by how she behaves around.” Silverstream thought about it for a second, right before seeing through his teeth and widely grinning. “Oh, I get it, Terry. You would also like to have friends like this.”. The white hippogriff foal rolled his eyes and glanced in a different direction. “Well, uh, maybe?” The hippogriff filly squealed in happiness. “I know you so much, Terry.” They both hushed at the revelation of yawning echoing in the kitchen. Entering inside, the siblings were a witness of their mother preparing breakfast, as their father was looking through his newspapers, bags under his eyes slightly closed while in the meantime trying to give a spoon full of baby food for the toddler foal brother of the little duo. “Hi mom, hi dad. How is it going?” Twilight levitated some dishes on the table using her purple magic aura, her eyelids also darker, but not as exhausted as her spouse. “Your baby brother likes messing with us so much… This little earth pony was giving us a restless night.” The purple alicorn chimed as she set down two white plates. “I prepared your favorite breakfast.” Resting upon the pristine white plates were flapjacks, two sunny sides up eggs made eyes while a single strip of hay bacon made a smile. The kids smiled in delight as they both thanked her in unison prior to digging in after taking their seats. The king of friendship this time was more fond of his youngest foal, for whom he awarded a teddy bear. The earth pony toddler clasped the plushie close to the heart and proudly purred to it. As everything was done, Twilight also granted her place at the table, while in the meantime smelling the fresh air of the breeze crawling through the soup furniture. Silverstream and her little brother both admired the glamorous taste of their meal. some days earlier. To be more specific: Last Monday. Sky Beak would love to admire his wife’s cooking before his duties once more. but as a still half-awake gentle bird, couldn’t get any basic words with meaning. He simply addressed her with two nonsensical words. “It's pleasant.” Twilight then had another subject to discuss. “Silvy, can we talk about something?” “Mommy,” the pink hippogriff filly backtracked thinking about the situation that took place during the school year’s opening. “I swear this will never happen again.” The purple alicorn chuckled at her daughter’s misdeeds. “No, not that, my little feather. We just want to talk about your friends. Do you like them?" The mare asked as young Silversream smiled. "I really do, Yona is big and strong, Gallus and Smolder are pretty fast, and Ocellus is smart, almost like you, mommy." She said as she sat down. “Are you suggesting that this Ocellus can outsmart me?” Twilight joked sipping on the tea. “What about Sandbar?” “He is… uh… clever for a pony farmer…” Princess Twilight raised her eyebrow in wonder until her younger son brought up the meaning. “He is from the Apple family.” “Oh,” the purple mare blushed. “Silly me. How could I forget about the son of Big Macintosh?” The 7-year-old Silverstream swallowed her hay bacon before continuing to the nice sentence structure. “Mommy, my only concern is Smolder and her older brother. They bring this abnormal style on my view.” "What do you mean, my little sea wave?" her father approached her question, more soberly. "They just seem weird, they don't talk about home life, and when we have parents' day at school, they're usually alone," Silverstream spoke as Twilight and Sky Beak looked at each other, already aware of the reason. Twilight ruffled her daughter's mane as she encouraged her to sit down and explain the situation circling her dragon classmates in a more docile way.
Chapter 1Author's Note (YES!
"You already home?"
Chapter 4Twilight sprang off the bed in a rush hearing her son Argyle begin to lament in his sorrow as the toddler usually did muffle in the cradle.
