Sunny Starscout and Hitch Trailblazer are married to each other and are now officially a couple, their friends and many other ponies from Maretime Bay, Zephyr Heights, and Bridlewood were all very happy for their sake. Pipp set up a wedding for the couple in their castle and everypony had a blast, Sprout cried multiple times due to him being very happy for his friend, his crush Izzy Moonbow had to nuzzle him to comfort him.

Months later, Sunny announced to her friends that she is pregnant and Hitch got extremely exhilarated that he fainted which made Sunny giggle in return, he sure was excited to be a father to their foal, just like how his wife Sunny was excited to be a mother. Their friends were exhilarated to become aunts and uncles to their new child too.

12 more months later, Sunny was sent to the hospital due to her needing to give birth to her child instantly, therefore, Hitch took his wife to Maretime Bay hospital where she will give birth, and after three painful minutes of pushing form Sunny, the young mare gave birth to a healthy young colt whom they named Chase Trailblazer, the colt had aqua green hair like his father, an aqua green mane, green eyes like his mother, and his body was light amber like his father the two ponies were happy to be a family.

Maretime Bay 8:00am

It is early in the morning in Maretime Bay, the ponies of the city were seen walking through town, doing work, having a chat with each other and many more like they always do in their daily lives.

In a lighthouse located far from the town lives the Trailblazer family who are the latest family in the town. On the second floor of the house, a young five years old colt named Chase Trailblazer was seen sleeping comfortably in his bed after another successful term at his elementary school studying sports and Physics. At first, everything seemed tranquil but then, the young colt's alarm clock began ring.

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP*

"Mmm." Chase moaned as he slowly opened his eyes, having been woken up from the sounds of his aggravating and loud alarm clock "Alright, be quiet already." He said as he pressed the button on the alarm clock, silencing it in the process.

"Ugh, the mechanisms of this alarm clock is sometimes aggravating." Chase said as he slowly sat up from his bed. After that, he stretched his hooves and let out a yawn "Time to greet my parents." He told himself as he got off his bed. After that, he began to walk to the stairs that leads to the living room.

In the living room, Sunny and Hitch Trailblazer were both seen having a lovely char with each other on how great their lives are right now as a family and how proud they are towards their son on how successful he is at school, and how kind he is towards his friends.

"Hey Hitchy, do you remembered the time I was sent to the hospital to give birth to our son?" Sunny asked with a smirk.

Hitch's eyes widened when he heard her question, he was beginning to sweat from his forehead as the petrifying memory returned to his mind.

Maretime Bay hospital 5 years ago

In an ICU room in Maretime Bay hospital, there was an apricot coloured mare seen lying on a stretcher painfully giving birth to her child, and her husband was seen holding her right hoof.

"Breathe in and breathe out Sunny." The doctor instructed her.

"You can do this Sunny, I believe in you." Hitch encouraged her.

Sunny took her husband's encouragement and pushed again while squeezing his right hoof as leverage to endure the pain but, it didn't seemed to work, she continued to scream in agony.

"You okay Sunny?"

"I-I'm okay, just a little tired."

"Keep pushing miss Trailblazer." The doctor told her.

Sunny nodded, took a deep breath and pushed harder this time, however, this one was more excruciating. Then, the mare looked at her husband with anger in her eyes.

"HITCH TRAILBLAZER! I WANT YOU TO LOOK AT ME IN THE EYES! AFTER I GET OUT OF THE HOSPITAL! I'M GONNA KICK YOU SQUARE BETWEEN YOUR BACK HOOVES SO HARD THAT YOU WISHED THAT YOU WERE WAITING OUTSIDE!!!" Sunny screamed in an angry and detrimental tone.

Hitch was frightened at this point, although it was Sunny who wanted to start a family between them first but, it was mostly his fault for getting her in this excruciating situation of hers.

After fifteen more seconds of pain, Sunny successfully gave birth to hers and her husband's child.

"Waa! Waa! Waa!"

"Congratulation mister and miss's Trailblazer, you two have a son." The doctor congratulated with a smile.

Present time

Hitch shuddered after remembering that daunting memory, he remembered how his wife Sunny said that she will give him an excruciating repercussion by kicking him square between his back hooves, it would be painful to endure through something like that.

"Um... uh... am I still in trouble?" Hitch asked with an anxious expression.

Sunny giggled before replying to her husband with a gentle kiss to his cheek indicating that she forgives him, after all, it was her who wanted to start a family. And Hitch was relieved from this action.

"Daddy mommy, good morning- ah!"

Sunny and Hitch both flinched when they heard the sound of their son tumbling down the stairs and hitting the floor with a thud. The couple turned around to see their son Chase on the floor moaning.

"Oh my, are you okay honey?"

"I'm okay mommy, just lost my footing, that's all." Chase replied as he slowly stood back up on his hooves.

"Good morning son." Hitch said as he walked up to his son and stroked his head "How are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm doing great daddy, thank you for asking."

"Anyways, I've prepared your breakfast on the counter Chase." Sunny told him "It's your favourite cereals!" She finished.

"Thanks mom!" Chase said as he walked up to his mother to give her a hug and she hugged back. After that, the young colt walked up to the kitchen counter and sat on his seat to eat his cereals.

Two minutes later, Chase has finished eating his breakfast and he was already full, then, his mother grabbed his empty bowl and brought it to the sink to wash it.

"Wow, I'm full." Chase said in delight.

"Chase, come on, show me some push ups." Hitch told him.

"Oh, yes father!" Chase exclaimed as he got off his seat and walked near his father. After that, he got on the floor and began to do push ups requested by his father.

"One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six..." Chase counted as he was doing the push ups. Then, Hitch decided to ask him some mathematics questions.

"Chase, what is two to the power of two?" He asked.

"Four." Chase replied.

"Good. What is eight to the power of two?"

"Sixty four."

"What is one thousand divided by two?"

"Five hundred."

"What is one hundred times one hundred."

"Uh... ten thousand!"

"What is the Pythagoras theorem formula?"

"A square, plus B square, equals C square."

"Magnificent." Hitch said in a proud tone "Alright, that should be it." He told him, he has counted his son doing thirty push ups.

When Chase heard this, he ceased his exercising and collapsed onto he floor, gasping for some air in the process.

By the time Sunny saw her son's condition she immediately grabbed a towel and walked up to him. Once she got to him, she helped her son up and began to wipe the sweat off of him.

"You okay baby?" Sunny asked.

"I'm okay mommy, don't worry." Chase replied with a smile. Then, Sunny looked at her husband with a disapproved expression.

"Hitchy, can you stop pressuring our son to do exercises?" She asked with an irked expression "Our son is just five years old." She told him.

"Well, he says that he wants to be a great sheriff and protect lots of ponies in the future, so, he needs to prepare himself like this." Hitch told her "Even his friend Bright does this by his father." He told her, relating to the son of Sprout and Izzy Moonbow.

Sunny eventually decided to ignore her husband's remark and continue to wipe the sweat off of her son's body. A brief second later, the apricot coloured mare successfully wiped all of the sweat on his son and gave him a kiss to the cheek to comfort him.

"Thanks mommy." Chase said nuzzling his mother.

"You're welcome baby." Sunny said nuzzling back.

When Hitch saw that his son has fully recovered from his worn out state. He decided to take this chance and bring his son out for a walk.

"Hey Chase, since it's a beautiful day outside, whaddya say we head out for a walk?" Hitch asked.

When Chase heard this, he looked at his mother for permission, and his mother replied with a smile and a nod. Therefore, the young colt got up from the floor and walked up to his father.

"Wonderful! Now let's do some father and son bonding." Hitch said as he brought his son to the front door.

"Have fun you two." Sunny said.

"We will mommy!" Chase said with a nod as he and his father walked out the door to their house, after that, he and his father began to walk towards town.

Once Hitch and his son Chase made it to town after a thirty minutes walk from home, Hitch began to show his son all of the citizens of their town that they must always protect no matter what.

"See everypony here son?" Hitch asked and Chase nodded "They're are all of the ponies that you will soon protect when you grow up and replace your old man as sheriff of Maretime Bay." He told him.

"Yes daddy, I can definitely see that." He replied with a confident nod "I will do everything in my power to protect these ponies, even if I get injured." He finished in a brave tone.

"That's my son." Hitch said in a proud tone.

Hitch and his son Chase have been walking through town for approximately half an hour now, they have been doing nothing but greeting their citizens, helping them with some small obligations and many more. However, during the walk, Chase noticed some of the fillies staring at him with blushes on their cheeks as they waved at him which made him embarrassed, he has encountered a filly problem at his elementary school before, he doesn't know how but, it seems that he has attracted many fillies attentions which made some of his friend jealous of him but, he managed to endure it.

Now, Hitch Trailblazer and his son we're stopping by for some ice cream after a long walk around town.

"Cheers son."

"Cheers daddy."

Then, both Hitch and Chase began to lick their ice creams in a delightful way. However, as they licked, Hitch's eyes widened as he remembered that he forgot to grab something in the station.

"Oh right! I forgot something!" Hitch said with his eyes shot wide open.

"Forgot what daddy?" Chase asked with a perplexed expression.

"Just something for your mother, now you just wait here until I grab it okay?" He asked, and Chase replied with a nod "Good." He said in a proud tone before rushing to the station.

While his father does his own thing, Chase continued to delightfully lick his chocolate ice cream and wait for him to return. At first, everything seemed tranquil in their town but suddenly, some noises were heard near him.

"Give me your hits you stupid mare."

"Please... no."

Chase's eyes widened when he heard the sound, he turned around to see what was happening and saw a stallion pressing a mare against a wall in an alleyway with a detrimental expression while the mare was shielding her face with her purse. Chase must assume that the stallion was attempting to steal that mare's purse.

"Oh no, I must save that mare." Chase said as he ran towards the alleyway.

"Give me your bits this instance mare, I'm not gonna ask twice." The stallion demanded in a detrimental tone.

"Please, leave me alone, I won't tell anypony about this." The mare begged, but, the stallion refused to leave her alone.

"That's it, I tried my best, and you gave me no choice." The stallion said with a shake of his head "Guess, I'll have to do this the hard way." He said with an evil smirk.

The mare got bewildered when she heard the stallion saying the hard way, just what was he going to do? Then, the mare got her answer when she noticed the stallion pulling out a pocket knife and aimed it near her face, the sight made her eyes widen in fear.

"I'll give you one last chance." He told her in a menacing tone "Five... four... three... two... one... say goodbye pathetic mare." The stallion said as he prepared to stab the mare in the face with the knife.

When the mare noticed this, she closed her eyes and prepared to meet her fate. But miraculously, there was no harm for her today as a young voice was heard.

"Hey barbarian! Over here!"

When the stallion heard the young voice, he looked to his right to see who was there, suddenly, he was pelted in the eyes by a cold ice cream.

"Ahhhhh! My eye!" The stallion screamed in pain.

Chase took his chance and ran up to the stallion. When he made it to him, he jumped up and delivered a kick to the stallion's chest. The contact made the stallion grunt and he was sent crashing into a wall.

"That's what you deserve criminal!" Chase told him in a victorious tone. Then, he looked at the mare "It's okay ma'am everything's fine now." He said with a smile.

"Why thank you young colt."

"Anytime."

In the station, Hitch Trailblazer was seen throwing the stallion who threatened the mare in the jail cell, then, he began to read the script.

"Sir, you're arrested for assault, attempted murder, illegal possession of lethal weapons, robbery, and intimidation." Hitch told him "I'm sentencing you to ten years in prison." He finished which made the stallion grunt and turn around to face the wall.

"Well done son, I'm proud of you." Hitch said stroking Chase's head.

"Thanks dad." Chase said giving his father a full on hug, and Hitch hugged his son back.

Maretime Bay 10:00pm

It is late at night in Maretime Bay, the ponies of the town all began to return to their homes to sleep in for the night and prepare for tomorrow.

On a dirt track in the city, Hitch was seen carrying his fatigued son on his back to their home so that they can all hit the hay.

"Hooves down, this was a great day. Despite the attempted robber and murder that my son encountered." Hitch said with a chuckle as he turned around to see his son snoring peacefully on his back "Let's get you to bed buddy." He told him.

Once Hitch made it to the front door of their house, he gently knocked on the door so that he wouldn't wake his son up. A brief second later, the front door swung open and Hitch saw his wife Sunny.

"Hitchy, what took you so long?"

"Sorry Sunny." Hitch said giving his wife Sunny a kiss to the lips "Just had some dinner outside with my son." He told her.

Sunny looked at her son who was sleeping on her husband's back, the sight made her smile warmly.

"I guess all of that has made our son fatigued eh?"

"Indeed." Hitch replied with a nod as he stepped in the house, and Sunny closed the door afterwards "Sunny, you wouldn't believe what had happened today." He said.

"What happened?" Sunny asked with a perplexed expression.

"Our son stopped a stallion who was threatening a mare."

"Really?" Sunny asked with a surprised expression, and Hitch replied with a nod "Wow, our son is a hero today." She said staring at her son with a proud expression.

"Agreed." Hitch agreed with a nod "Anyways, I need to take a shower, do you think that you could take our son back to his room please?" He asked.

Sunny nodded in response and walked up to her husband. When she got to it, she slowly grabbed his son's and carried him in her hooves. After that, she gave her husband a peck on the cheek and slowly walked to her son's bedroom upstairs.

While Sunny was doing that, Hitch began to walk to the bathroom to take a shower, today sure was a wonderful father and son bonding trip.
