"Here ya go, Zecora. The last Zap Apple of the bunch! You were lucky we kept one left from the harvest!" Applejack said, picking the literally last apple of the barrel.
"Thank you very much, kind Applejack."
"My pleasure to help but you know how Zap Apple Jam is made?"
That accidental rhyme made both mares blink in surprise and then laugh.
“Worry not, my dearest friend; for this single apple is not lunch but a special medicine.ingredient”
Applejack scratched her head, the first she had heard of Zap Apple having medicinal uses but she still waved the zebra goodbye.
On her way back to town, Zecora ran past a rainbow streak who was pushing some storm clouds off town.
"Hey Zecora! How´s it going?"
"Just fine, Rainbow Dash..."
Her usual ego prevented Rainbow to notice the odd mood the zebra was on, so she just flew by. Zecora watched her go and, with a very noticeable frown, checked her list. Only one item left but it was the most difficult to get. She needed the feather of an owl, an animal very elusive. There was one owl who will gladly lend one of his own but that would mean visiting the library and Zecora didn't want Twilight to know what she was doing.
Luckyly, fate decided that was the right moment to run into three little fillies.
"Hey Zecora! What´cha doing?"
Zecora smiled at Appleboom and offered the Crusaders yet another chance to earn their marks.

Zecora keep stirring the brew while adding small petals of flowers that could only be found in the darker and deepest areas of the Everfree Forest. Once she added a few slices of the Zap Apple, the brew changed colors, turning into a glowing whirlwind. The last ingredient was the owl feather. Zecora hold it on her teeth and silently wished for the spell to work. For nothing to interrupt her...
"Hi Zecora! Applejack told me you get the last of the Zap Apples. Are you planning on making a pi-"
The words died in Twilight Sparkle´s mouth once she saw the zebra looming over the cauldron, a single feather on her mouth. She only need one look to recognize what potion she was attempting to create.
The second Zecora let go of the feather, Twilight yelled and used her magic to levitate both the zebra and the cauldron away, the content spilling all over the floor.
"No! Twilight Sparkle, what have you done? You destroyed all my work with just one move!"
"What I have done? What were you trying to do?! That potion would have changed the colors of your coat and mane permanently! You teach me about that potion and warned me never to use it carelessly!"
Zecora tried to grab the last remains of the potion and applied it furiosly on her mane but it was already too late. The floor absorbed too much of it and now it was useless.
"Zecora, what happened?
With tears of frustration and anger, the zebra began to explain: "What other purpose could I seek but to make this horrible stripes disappear?!"
"But why..."
"Look at me, so plain and dull; while any other pony is like a flower in bloom! Your friend Rainbow for example, has such a beautiful mane; every single colour of the spectrum, such a perfect name! While here I am, stuck in simple plain and white; with a mane so old fashioned that makes your friend Rarity cry..."
Twilight gently approached Zecora and caressed her mane. "Why are you saying such things, Zecora? You are such a pretty pony, well zebra..."
"Please do not lie, what part of me could somepony possibly like?"
"Well..." and Twilight slowly nuzzled her snout. "I like your snout."
She then moved her lips at the zebra eye, softly kissing her eyelid. "I like your eyes."
Twilight moved to the ear, playfully biting it. "I like your ears."
Zecora put an end to her tears as Twilight keep moving across her body. "I like your neck."
Twilight pushed Zecora into the ground as she kept placing small kisses across the fur of the zebra, occasionally biting her chest, grabing the skin with the teeth and causing a pleasurable amount of pain.

Dear diary, today I witnessed something unexpected.
You do know I can be a little over imaginative when it comes to mares being affectionate to each other. That led me to having the nasty and not at all appropriate habit of assuming that when two mares are touching each other there´s some hidden motive behind. I had seen how close that green unicorn and the candy maker are and, while I would never admit this to anypony (except to you, my dear diary), I have to confess I had indulged in “personal entertainment” as the teachers at the Celestian Institute for Proper Mares used to call it; while thinking about those two.
My nasty and dirty habit even spread to my close friends,whom I can't help but think doing embarrassing and lecherous deeds behind my back. I remember all those rumors in Flight Camp about Rainbow Dash and that rude Gilda but I never wanted to believe then; that was until I saw how close she is to Pinkie Pie. How they enjoy rolling together in the grass, how they constantly bump into each other. How they´re not afraid of being seen in public holding their nuzzles together. And poor Twilight Sparkle. At first I assumed that her blushing and strange mannerism when around Applejack where just because she was sheltered her entire life, always surrounded by books instead of other mares and was unaccustomed to somepony so spontaneous and outgoing as Applejack. But those looks! Those long gazes directed at her flank! Oh, I can't be mistaken dear diary! There´s something hidding in there, some blooming attraction that poor Twilight is struggling so hard to suppress, afraid that the old-fashioned farmer may freak out!
And then there´s Rarity. Oh my beloved Rarity! How many inappropriate dreams I had with you! Oh I´m sorry! I´m terrible sorry dear diary! I went out of track! I´ll get back to the story. Like I was saying, today I saw something unexpected. I was tending my animal friends when I found a ferret that had been bitten by a rather rude snake. After I scolded the snake and had him and the ferret made peace (the poor things had problems shaking paws I must admit...) I realized the poison from the snake was already inside his system. I needed some strong medicine and the only pony who I could think to ask for help was no pony at all.
I like Zecora. i first I was scared of her, like all the other ponies. But once we got to meet her she turned out to be a nice and understanding equine not to mention pretty attractive with those stripes and her nice, round flank...oh not worry diary, I won't do it again! Despite being on friendly terms with Zecora I still fear the everfree Forest. Oh, its such an awful place! So dark and scary and all the animals in there are pretty nasty and simply not friendly! They eat each other for Celestia´s sake! But, my poor friend needed help so I gathered all the courage I could and ventured inside the darkness.
Thankfully, I had Pinkie´s song about ghosts to help me pass through but I think I messed up with the lyrics a bit. I don't remember any mention of “orphan foals”, don't know why I said that line...Anyways, I finally reached Zecora´s hut. Like always, it was a dark and unwelcoming place. All those scary masks and threatening spears at the door. How could such a nice equine live in such a terrible place? I was about to knock on the door when I heard a noise coming from inside the hut. It seemed like somepony was grunting. At first, I backed down and I was almost about to leave entirely when I heard the sound again. It was definitely the voice of a pony, a mare to be more precise and she seemed to be suffering. After a third time, I recognized the sound as Twilight´s voice. She used to visit Zecora at least once a week to gather herbs so it wasn't so strange for her to be there but, why was she making those noises? Maybe she was hurt, maybe she sprain a hoof while coming there and Zecora was bandaging her leg. My curiosity got the best of me and instead of knocking the door I peeked through the window.
Oh Zecora was taking care of Twilight all right, dear diary; but it wasn't a sprain hoof what was aching Twilight. If that was the case there was no need for Zecora´s head to be buried between Twilight´s legs. At first, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I thought that maybe the angle for the window was making an innocent situation seem dirty. But Twilight had the courtesy to laid down so I could get a full view and confirmed Zecora had her tongue inside Twilight´s “nether regions”. Twilight was clearly enjoying the service, stroking the zebra tomahawk mane with one hoof while biting the other one to restrain from screaming. In her playful rhyming manner of speech, Zecora remind her that nopony was around and that she could indulge on her pleasure as much a she wanted. She was wrong but I didn't dare to correct her. Maybe I stumped into some poison joke on the way there. But no dairy, it was all very real. Small little details, the kind that Rarity had taught me to notice, betrayed their lie. Like Zecora slight messy mane or the short glances Twilight gave her friend while she prepared her potion and of course, the unmistakable smell of recent mating. I know that smell very well, either form my animal friends or from my own experiences back in a small wooden office where an alicorn teacher taught me that I didn't need any wings to fly.
So, that´s my story dear diary. I saw something unexpected and most likely forbidden but I don't regret it at all. I will talk to Twilight eventually. I don't want to spoil her fun with Zecora but I surely will love to share some of it. I hope she is not romantically involved with the zebra and it all falls into the physical plane. Oh I would hate to disrupt a romance! But I cannot help but think about that purple star covered flank, now knowing that her barn door swings that way, if I´m allowed to borrow an expression from Applejack´s book.
I think tonight I will put myself to sleep remembering that dream I saw on the Everfree Forest.
The Everfree Forest was a creature on its own. It was a breathing, fierce creature that didn't liked intruders. But Twilight Sparkle wasn't afraid of it. She had already faced dragons, manticores and even Nightmare Moon herself. She wasn't going to let a spooky forest scare her with noises and peeping eyes. She bravely ventured into the shadows, not even lighting her horn. She knew the way like the inside of her hoof after all.
Zecora had warned her about the dangers of the forest. Told her stories about ponies that ventured into the deep corners of the forest and never coming back. There were even rumors of entire towns, missing between the trees. Twilight didn't believed in ghost stories but sometimes she could feel a pair of eyes on her. Not critters eyes but they seemed almost like if another pony wa watching her steps. She turned around and found nothing but a shadow, a glimpse of something moving, something vaguely resembling a pony. But it lasted less than a second and then it was gone.
Twilight ignored the ghost and continued to the zebra´s hut. Some of her friends still find the place unsettling but Twilight had grown quite accustomed to the place and was no longer afraid of it. Instead, she found it comforting. But maybe that was because of who lived in there.
“Hi Zecora, sorry I burst in,” Twilight said, walking inside.
“Welcome back, Twilight. You know my door is always open for you, no need to say that,” Zecora replied, still stirring her cauldron.
Twilight blushed and deposited the content of her saddlebags in a table. “Pinkie sends her regards. You know, if I didn't know her better, I'll say she suspects about us.”
“Pinkie´s sense is more than a trick, it casee even through a lie so thick.”
Twilight stopped taking the cupcakes out of the box and rubbed her hooves. “Is that how you see this? A lie?”
Zecora abandoned her sitting and moved next to Twilight, gently nuzzling her. “My feelings for you are since, even if sharing with other ponies I do not dare.”
Twilight wasn't sure if that was an apology but she liked how the nuzzle felt.
“As always you bring delicious treats, will you like to take a seat?” Zecora said, moving to the kitchen.
“Okay. Should I serve the tea?”
Zecora said something but she had her mouth filled with a pair of plates and Twilight couldn't understand her. She decided to just serve whatever was in the cauldron. Zecora tasted always a little bitter but she liked it. Somehow, it reminded her of how Zecora tasted. Blushing with that thought, Twilight levitated two cups fill with hot liquid.
Zecora put the plates in the tables and sat down. Twilight took a cupcake while keeping her cup on the air while Zecora took a sip, her own cupcake waiting on the plate.
They both enjoyed this silent moment together.
“The tea is still boiling hot, what a surprise.I figured it will have cooled after a while,” Zecora said.
“Well, the cauldron is still on.”
“What? Form the cauldron this comes? Oh Twilight Sparkle, why did you choose to ignore my words?”
“What words? I couldn't understand a word you said! You weren't making some tea?”
“It was no tea at all but a rterryifiny potion.”
“Oh no, what did I make you drink?”
“I...I..I'm to embarrassed to reveal!” Zecora said and she rushed to her bedroom.
“Zecora!” Twilight rushed after her and found the zebra on her bed, grabbing her crotch area. She was obviously in a lot of pain, sweating and hissing through her teeths.
“Oh Zecora, what have I done? Tell me, what can I do?”
“I...I can't...”
“Just tell me what potion it was. I'm sure I'll find some book to help you.”
Zecora sat straight on the bed, fighting against whatever effect the potion was having on her. She tried to say something but a sudden jolt of electricity hit her entire body. Twilight watched in awe as a part of Zecora began to glow. The eerie green glow increased and Twilight saw something growing out from her body. It grew and expanded, taking into a peculiar form.
“Oh my...”
Zecora tried to cover herself her new appendage wasn't making things easy.
“This is...is called...”
“A mating spell. Or at least, that's what is called in the textbooks.” Twilight noticed how Zecora was looking at her and rubbed her hooves, embarrassed. “Umh I read a lot of books in the Academy. “I must consider this a great shame but in the city it's considered a big sale.”
