The Dragon Ninja

The next day, Spike was training at the Lin Kuei temple and was blindfolded while near some bells. Sub-Zero flicked rocks at the bells, with Spike kicking the bells the rock touched.

As Sub-Zero flicked rocks, Spike continued to kick the bells. Sub-Zero then flicked a rock at Spike directly, but the dragon ninja grabbed it with his hand.

"Good job, now to test your other senses." Sub-Zero said

Spike was then with Sub-Zero at a garden, the grandmaster had a chicken and placed it on the ground. The chicken ran as Sub-Zero said

"Find the chicken, listen to it, hear it."

The blindfolded Spike did so and carefully used the loud sound of the chicken to chase it. As he did, he managed to grab it and held it steady when it ran to a nearby corridor in the temple. The next task was to balance on a beam while his arms held buckets full of rocks, when Sub-Zero directed him to do so. As he jumped at the last beam, one rock fell, but Spike caught it with his foot.

The next exercise involved Spike using his sword to slice projectiles while still wearing his blindfold. Sub-Zero fired an ice ball at Spike, who quickly sliced it in two. The Grandmaster repeated the process from left to right and the center, until he threw a rock. Spike did not slice the projectile, he instead caught it in his left hand.

(In Canterlot)

At the Canterlot Animal Shelter, Fluttershy was gaining a lot of customers who wanted to either donate, have a pet or both. Fluttershy was happy that the shelter had enough support to be able to help herself and the animals.

"Spike...thank you." Fluttershy thought with a smile.

As Fluttershy helped the customers, the 3 bullies from before were watching and giving devious smiles as they ogled her hourglass figure.

"We jump her at night time boys." Dumbbell said

The other 2 nodded and followed him out the shelter quietly.

(With Spike)

As Spike was now back at Canterlot City. He simply took time to enjoy the sights and look around. As he walked, he heard a window being smashed.

"Help! That man stole my jewelry!" A shop owner shouted

Spike saw the danger and put on his mask. He then leapt from building to building to chase the thief.

As he pursued the thief, he saw the Rainbooms were joining too.

Spike saw an opening and jumped off the roof. He saw the thief run to an alley and kicked the thief in the face into the alley wall while in mid-air. He grabbed the bag full of jewels.

"Wait please!" The thief said in fright.

Spike however kicked him in the face again, this time knocking him out. He tied him up and dragged him by the leg. As he did, the Rainbooms saw him.

"Spike?!" Twilight said.

Spike however, simply punched the robber in the gut and smashed his face on the pavement and said

"All yours."

He then headed to the shop that was looted and returned the stolen items and left, leaving the girls confused. As Spike was walking away, a few bystanders saw him and clapped their hands at his good deed.

"Hey wait!" Sunset said, trying to talk to Spike.

But the dragon warrior would not speak, he merely left in silence and went his way, even jumping on some walls and buildings to avoid unwanted company.

The Rainbooms only looked on as Spike was leaving the area.

As Spike began to parkour around the city, he stopped and reached a large tower in the city. He jumped on a gargoyle head and overlooked the entire view of the city

As Spike viewed the city, he only readied himself for the unknown and backflipped from the gargoyle statue to the next building and used his rope dart to soften his fall.

Spike continued to run from rooftop to rooftop and even jumped at some large billboard signs to reach his destination.

However, as Spike jumped around, he saw the Animal Shelter being broken into. Fluttershy also was there and was about the enter the building. Spike, putting on his mask said

"What the shit?"

The 3 bullies from before were sneaking around the Animal Shelter Fluttershy worked at. As they snuck around, they began to trash the place and scare some of the animals in their kennels or cages.

"Let's see how that animal loving bimbo loves her place now!" Dumbbell said with a smirk.

"Yeah! When I see her, I'm gonna tap her big titties with my load!" Score said with a lustful grin.

However, they saw the door was opening and Fluttershy had seen the now trashed area.

"What in the FUCK?!?" Fluttershy shouted in shock.

The three vandals looked and Dumbbell shouted "Get her!"

They charged at Fluttershy and she activated her abilities. She was able to call her animals, and they each escaped their cages and subdued Score and Hoops by tripping them with some ropes. Dumbbell, who was now infuriated, pulled out a gun.

"Tame THIS, bitch!" Dumbbell said.

However, the moment he said this, his left eye was stabbed with a shuriken and an shadowy figure slashed him in the chest with a sword

"AAAAAGGGHHHHH! MY EYEEEEEEE!" Dumbbell said holding his left eye and his face in pain.

The unknown figure the roundhouse kicked Dumbbell out while kicking Hoops and Score's heads hard to the ground.

Fluttershy, getting a good look at the figure, recognized him. "Spike?"

The dragon ninja only helped the animals and placed them in their cages or kennels. A hamster even jumped on Spike's shoulder, but Spike placed him in his little hamster cage with 2 others.

"What happened?" Fluttershy asked again

However, Spike only placed everything back in place and put some change in the donation jar. After that, he tied up the 3 vandals legs and arms and teleported away in flames from the scene.

Fluttetshy only gave a bewildered look as he left. She pulled out her phone and dialed 911.

(An hours later)

Spike was once again parkouring the city of Canterlot. He was trekking the city for more danger. As he did, he noticed the girls were in the cafe Pinkie Pie worked at, but he refused to bother. However, as he jumped on the cafe's roof, he heard some talking.

"Hey! Lay off Score!"

Spike looked closer and saw it was Score. He was talking to Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy was behind her with tears in her eyes, falling down her cheeks.

"Piss off Skittles! I don't have time for your flat-chested ass pissing me off!"

"OH NOW YOU PUSHED IT YOU TINY CHICKENSHIT!!!!!" Rainbow Dash exploded with fury.

She began to savagely beat up the bully with rage, despite Fluttershy trying to hold her back, she continued to assault and wail on him. Score was left a bloody and beaten mess as the two girls left him in his beaten misery on the ground. Spike only gave a look of annoyance and shook his head at the pegasus's foolish actions.

Spike's stomach rumbled a bit and he looked in his wallet, he had at least two 20$ bills, three 10$ bills and one loonie. That was 71$.

"Guess I should eat, haven't had anything since supper." Spike said in his thoughts

Spike jumped down and landed safely near an alley but removed his mask. He then entered the cafe and went to the counter, not acknowledging some looks he was getting.

"Hello, what can I get you?" The waitress said

"Just a cup of hot chocolate and a muffin." Spike said politely

"For here or to go?"

"To go." Spike replied

The waitress nodded and prepared his order. He was noticed by Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight

"Hey. Isn't that Spike?" Fluttershy said

"What's he doing here?" Pinkie said, seeing the dragon warrior

As Spike waited, he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"Um, excuse me?" A young little voice said

Spike however, refused to care or bother. The voice spoke again.

"Um mister?"

Spike turned and saw it was a young boy. The boy was an young earth pony had white and brown skin and looked fairly skinny He gave a look of confusion and asked

"Can I help you?"

"Um..mister Ninja? Can..I have your autograph?" The little boy asked, holding a photo of Spike in his ninja outfit.

Spike was a bit surprised at the little kid's request. Some onlookers watched the scene as Spike asked confused.

"My..autograph?"

"Yeah. It's just that...your a dragon and your really cool and awesome and I thought you could give me your autograph." The little colt squeaked.

Spike gave a look of amusement at the child. Despite his harsh upbringing, he couldn't bring himself to hurt this young child.

"What's your name?" Spike asked

"Pipsqueak."

Spike wrote on the paper his name and a little sentence. Pipsqueak looked at it and asked curiously.

"It's better to die with honor then live in shame." Pipsqueak read.

Spike nodded and put a hand on the little colt's shoulder and said

"I almost thought I would live in shame of what I am. But I realized what i am is not a flaw, but a strength. I would rather fall to protect not just my home or my family, but who I am. You can be a hero someday young one. But always remember who you fought for. What you wish to protect. Family, home, love or friendship."

Pipsqueak gave sparkling eyes of admiration and said "Thank you thank you mister dragon!"

Spike only gave an amused and soft look at the little colt as he went to his parents.

A few onlookers gave looks of amusement as some, including Fluttershy said "Awwww."

"Nice kid." Rainbow Dash said with a smile

The waitress before held Spike's order.

"Here you are sir. That'll be $10.29" The waitress said

"Thank you." Spike said, putting the money on the counter for the waitress.

Spike then left the cafe and began to drink his coffee. As he walked, he made his way to his apartment.

As Spike walked, he began to make his way around the block near CHS. However, he heard a familiar voice.

"Dang nabbit! That's the second one this week!"

Spike turned and saw a familar truck with a flat tire near a parking area. The driver door opened and out came Applejack and from the back Big Macintosh. On the passenger seat came out Granny Smith.

"Great! We don't have any tires left! What do we do?!" Applejack said

Spike seeing the event, got an idea and approached as the Apple family began to try and remove the tire with a hydraulic jack. Granny Smith noticed the dragon teen approaching and said

"Spike? What are y'all doing here?"

Spike, however did not speak and looked at the tire and moved under the car. He managed to remove it slowly. After he did, he gently removed what punctured the tire, a sharp nail, and using his fire and ice abilities, mixed them and mended the tire, causing it to reform and the air to go in with ease while the hole was regenerated.

After he used his abilities to fix the tire, he began to slowly place the tire back on the truck and put the hydraulic jack in place.

"Wow Spike thanks!" Big Macintosh said

"Yer a lifesaver darling." Granny Smith said

Spike merely replied by nodding and teleported in flames, leaving them in silence.

(In the Fire Gardens)

Spike was continuing to train his pyromancy with Scorpion. As he did, he managed to train his abilities to form fire weapons or aura emitted abilities.

"Very good dragon warrior." Scorpion said

Spike nodded and asked "What must I learn next Grandmaster?"

Scorpion replied "While you wield pyromancy, you only see the negativity and hatred it emits. Fire is not just anger and rage, it is also balance, determination of your willpower and the beauty of life. For me, it was my family's love and my dedication to protect them. Now it is time for you to find what drives your will and spirit. Right now, get some rest, you will need it for tomorrow."

Spike only gave a look of curiosity as Scorpion left him to think.

(At the Apple Farm)

The Apple family had reached home and began to head back into their barn. It was getting late and they needed some rest. As they entered their home, Granny Smith said to Applejack

"He still won't talk to ya?"

"I know Granny Smith. I messed up. He said he forgived me and mah friends. But it's best we remain...acquaintances." Applejack said

"Honestly Applejack. I think I speak for us and him that you not only deserve it, but you don't deserve your Element like your friends." Big Macintosh said in disappointment.

Applejack only let her head down as she left to her room go to sleep, while her family members decided to do so soon as well.

Unbeknownst to them, two unknown figures were watching them.

"Hmmmm. It looks like we can strike tomorrow Flim."

"Good thing Flam. I was preparing to make use of my new muscle."

The two left in the Apple farm in the night, preparing for tomorrow....
