All of Russia and Europe has been silenced by a horrible, seemingly unstoppable enemy, the Chimeran virus. After France, the last of European resistance, went dark the people of the United Kingdom blockaded the English channel and waited, hoping that they were safe, and prepared their military, but after a few months, in October of 1950, the Chimera arrived. Nothing the British military used could stop them. They were hungry, they were heavily armed, and there seemed to be an infinite number of them. A number of British soldiers were abandoned by panicking, inexperienced commanding officers, one particular soldier and his squad were abandoned during an intelligence mission. What happened to that soldier, Sergeant Drake and his men, is unknown. Though he was marked as KIA, the truth was he was saved in a way, sent to a land of peace and happiness beyond his wildest childhood dreams. But has he really escaped from his world? Does he want to leave his world? It will take someone special to help him make his choice.
