Maretime Bay 9:00am

It is a bright sunny day in Maretime Bay aka the home to the earth ponies, the ponies of the city were all seen having a stroll through town, having a chat with one another, and doing work like these always do in their daily lives.

The land was in great shape thanks to the heroic and brave act of Sunny Starscout who embarked on a perilous journey to reunify Equestria by persuading the three pony species: earth ponies, pegasus, and unicorns to befriend one another and get rid of their fears over one another. Although it was rough but, it all went through, Sunny couldn't have done it without the help of her friends aka Hitch Trailblazer, Izzy Moonbow, Pipp Petals, and Zipp Storm.

On a street in Maretime Bay, Hitch Trailblazer was seen patrolling the streets of his town while his partner Sprout was redeeming himself by promising to pick up the messes that he has caused no matter how difficult and rough it is, his actions has made Hitch proud of him.

"Alright, the ponies all seem to be in check and nothing seems to be going wrong here." Hitch said with a pleasant smile as he observed the ponies. Suddenly, the sheriff felt dehydrated "Oh my I'm thirsty, it would be a good idea to buy myself a drink." He told himself as he wiped some sweat off of his forehead.

Then, the sheriff turned around and prepared to walk to a convinience store to buy a drink for himself so that he could be hydrated. But then, Hitch heard somepony calling him.

"Hey Hitch!"

Whne Hitch heard the familiar voice, he turned around to see his friend Sunny Starscout walking up to him.

"Oh hey Sunny." Hitch greeted with a smile "What brings you here?" He asked in a surprised tone.

"Oh not much, decided to go for a walk." Sunny replied with a smile "How're you doing?" She asked blushing slightly from how handsome Hitch looked.

"Oh not much, just patrolling the streets and corroborating the safety of the ponies." Hitch replied simply "I'm gonna get a drink soon though, I'm thirsty." He told her.

"Oh, you don't want my smoothie?" Sunny asked in a cute tone as she held a cup of smoothie in her hooves and in front of Hitch.

"Oh, why thank you Sunny." Hitch said with a smile before grabbing the smoothie and beginning to sip it from the straw.

Sunny was admiring that cute and handsome face of Hitch Trailblazer's with sparkling eyes and soft blushes on her cheeks, she was happy that he accepted her smoothie that she made specially for him. She also thought that this was the most perfect opportunity for her to confess his feelings to him.

A brief second later, Hitch finished drinking the smoothie Sunny offered to him, and he pulled it down letting out a refreshing exhale in the process.

"Now that smoothie of yours was refreshing Sunny, thanks."

"You're welcome Hitch." Sunny said with a smile "Hey Hitch, there is something that I've been wanting to tell you for a while now." She told him, and that made Hitch surprised.

"Huh? What is it then?" He asked with a surprised expression.

"Well..."

"Not so fast!"

Both Hitch and Sunny flinched from the loud screaming, they both looked to the source of the noise and saw Izzy Moonbow, Zipp Storm, and Pipp Petals rushing to where they were. The sight has caught Hitch completely off guard.

"Whoa? What's going on here?" Hitch asked with a nonplussed expression.

"Yeah, what she said." Izzy said.

"Nice try Sunny." Pipp said glaring at her.

"How could you you traitor?" Zipp asked with an angry expression.

"Izzy? Pipp? Zipp? What's going on?" Hitch asked in a perplexed tone, but, none of the mares answered the sheriff's reply, instead, they continued to glare at Sunny.

"Well it seems like miss perfect here thought that she could make the first move when we all agreed that we'd battle for it." Zipp said stomping her hooves on the floor.

3 months ago

In Sunny's house in Maretime Bay, four mares known as Sunny Starscout, Izzy Moonbow, Pipp Petals, and Zipp Storm were all seen having a chat with one another about Hitch Trailblazer who was doing a casual patrol around town.

"Hitch is so handsome." Pipp said with a dreamy expression.

"I know, he has the machismo and is very loyal and kind." Izzy said as she daydreamed about herself and Hitch together relaxing on the beach romantically.

"He is just full of awesomeness." Zipp said with a dreamy expression like her little sister.

"Indeed, he and I would look good together as a couple." Sunny said as she daydreamed about her marrying Hitch. However, her friends all looked at her with wide eyes after hearing her say that.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" Pipp asked with a raise of her eyebrow.

"I said that we would both be great together as a couple?"

"Oh no no no, don't you even think about it Sunny, Hitch is mine." Pipp told her with a stern expression.

"Oh I don't think so Pipp, he will be my prince." Zipp told her.

"And since when can you make the calls?" Pipp asked glaring at her older sister.

"The mare who will soon be on the throne of Zephyr Heights duh." Zipp said "In addition to that, I'm older than you meaning that you must listen to me." She finished which made Pipp growl angrily.

"Hitch will definitely choose me!" Izzy exclaimed slamming her left hoof on the table but, the two royal pegasus sisters did not cared for what she said.

"I'm sorry your three, I don't think that Hitch will choose any of you." Sunny told them logically "Hitch and I have both known each other since we were foals, we played together, he helped me with homework, he cared for me, made cupcakes with me and many more. This means that all of you can take a hint and leave." She finished sternly.

"I don't think so!" Pipp, Zipp, and Izzy exclaimed in unison as they glared at Sunny.

Then, all four of the mares glared at one another, all of them have fallen in love with Hitch but, only one of them can marry him and become a family. Then, Zipp came up with a plan.

"Alright then you all, let's have a battle then, let's fight over Hitch by giving him good stuffs, and helping him with his patrols. That will determine who he loves the most." Zipp suggested.

The mares all looked at one another before saying "Deal."

Present

Hitch was both bewildered and surprised to see how the situation escalated very quickly, at first, Sunny was offering him a smoothie to drink which was refreshing, now, it seems like all of his friends are fighting over him.

"I think that explains why they've been helping me so much." Hitch mumbled in a surprised tone.

"Hey Hitch, what have you and Sunny been doing?" Izzy asked.

"Eh not much, she offered me a tasty and sweet smoothie before trying to tell me something that she couldn't in the past." Hitch replied which made the three mares gasp.

"That is totally uncool Sunny." Pipp said glaring at her.

"Well I'm sorry, I had to."

"Why did you do it though?" Zipp asked.

"Because we're meant for each other." She replied simply which made Hitch blush slightly.

"That can't be true! I refuse to believe it!" Izzy exclaimed stomping her hooves on the floor.

"Whoa, that's a new side of Izzy I've never seen before." Hitch said in a shocked tone.

"Hitchy, you can say that I'm far more prettier than those three right?" Sunny asked, and Hitch blushed from the nickname.

"Uh... um... uh..."

"Oh no, don't reply to her Hitch." Pipp ordered, and Hitch kept his muzzle shut "Don't you be smiling now Sunny." She told her.

"Hehe, why don't we talk about this?" She offered.

"There's no 'talking your way out of this' option for you now." Zipp said with an angry expression. Then, Sunny gave up on being pacific.

"Okay fine, you're right, there's no way for me to calm you all down." Sunny said "Yeah, that's right, I tried to confess my feelings to Hitch, and so what? The three of you are just envious that I got to him first!" She exclaimed which made the three mares even more angrier.

Then, the four mares all began to have a controversy about this situation that they all found themselves in. The were going to have a friendly competition to decide who will be Hitch's wife but now, that is all ruined thanks to Sunny's selfishness.

When Hitch noticed the situation, he decided to come in and deescalate it.

"Whoa whoa okay, calm down everypony." Hitch said in a soft tone. And the mares all stopped arguing "Now, I know that I'm a beginner in all of this relationship thing, but, I think that I've got a solution." He told them.

"Really?"

"You girls are competing to try and win a chance to win my heart right?" Hitch asked them all, and the mares all nodded in response.

"Hey, I got an idea." Izzy said.

"What is it Izzy?" Sunny asked but, Izzy did not reply to her, she kept staring Hitch "Hitch, which one is us would you say is your favourite travelling partner?" She asked.

"Hmm... that's a toughy." Hitch said rubbing his chin "Well let's see, Pipp is good to be with when it comes to being famous on the media and stuff which means that I can make lots and lots of friends." He commented.

"Thanks Hitch." Pipp said with a soft blush.

"Then, there's Zipp who is one of the most coolest princesses in Zephyr Heights who is always into action and other stuffs, she always suggests good outdoor activities for us to play." Hitch commented which made Zipp blush.

"So no wonder why you suggested a competition." Pipp said, and Zipp chuckled embarrassingly in response.

"Izzy has a very kind and gentle nature and she always manages to relieve my stress during work which I'm extremely grateful for." Hitch commented.

"Thanks Hitch."

"As for Sunny, well, she is my closet friend ever since I was a foal. We played games together, did homework, made a lot of sweet muffins, took pictures with one another, and cared for each other." Hitch commented "She is just sweet." He added.

"Why thank you Hitchy." Sunny said with a soft blush.

"But, that doesn't answers the question Hitch." Pipp told him, and her friends nodded inr response "Which of us would you pick to date?" She asked.

"Hmm..." Hitch pondered.

The mares all had blushes on their cheeks due to how anxious they were for Hitch's reply, this will determine who he loves and wants to be with.

"I would choose to date all of you." Hitch replied with a smile.

When the four mares heard this, they all squealed in excitement and had blushes on their cheeks which caught Hitch off guard. Then, without warning, the mares all gave Hitch kisses on his cheeks. Sunny and Izzy kissed his right cheek, while Pipp and Zipp kissed his left cheek.

The kiss has resulted in the sheriff to blush madly due to this being his first kiss that he has received from the mares. A brief second later, the mares all pulled away and let out giggles when they saw Hitch's cute and priceless reaction.

"Thanks for your reply Hitchy." Sunny cooed.

"Yeah, we're all okay with your response, you made us all happy." Izzy told him, and Zipp and Pipp nodded din response.

"Well, see you next time handsome." Pipp said with a wink.

After that, the four mares turned around and started to walk away from the sheriff with delightful expressions on them.

Hitch was blushing so madly from the kiss that he began to bleed from his nostrils.

The next day

The next day, Hitch Trailblazer was seen once again patrolling the streets of Maretime Bay. He still remembers the kiss that he received from all four of his friends which always put a smile on his face when he thinks about it. When Sprout heard of this, he was proud of his friend but, he was a little jealous that he got to find live before he did.

"Ah, what a wonderful day it is." Hitch said breathing in the fresh air.

"Hey Hitch!"

When Hitch heard the loud shout, he turned to his right to see the pegasus Queen walking towards him with an angry expression on her face which made him perpelxed.

"Uh... something wrong your highness?" Hitch asked with a bewildered expression.

"Don't give me that face Hitch! You know what you did!" Queen Haven exclaimed but, Hitch was still confused "You kissed my daughters!" She said angrily.

"Oh, about that your highness, it wasn't me, they kinda-"

Hitch wasn't able to finish his sentence when he saw the Queen getting angrier as she spread her magical wings. The sight has petrified then sheriff.

"Not only have you infiltrated our city in the past, but you also kissed my beloved daughters! Now, I will kick your flank!" She exclaimed furiously which made Hitch's pupils shrink.

"Uh... ahhhhhhhhh!" Hitch screamed in fear as he ran away.

"Come back here!" Haven demanded as she began to chase after the sheriff.

Sprout has watched the entire drama not far from where they were standing, and he was quite surprised and shocked at the same time.

"Well, that's not something you see everyday." Sprout said with a nonplussed expression.
