A Little Bittle Of Sunshine
Epilogue
Previous ChapterAlphabittle slowly walked up to the door of the old house, wincing a little at the bruises that still hadn’t quite faded. Stopping in front of the door he took a moment to gather his thoughts before knocking on the door.
There was a moment of silence before steps sounded coming closer from inside the house. He watched as a sparkling, faintly amber hued light wrapped around the door, focusing on the doorknob a second before the door swung open.
He looked up at the mare standing on the other side, looking happier and more energetic than he’d ever seen her despite the few traces of greying hair in her mane, lit by the sparkling glow that still surrounded her horn. He shuffled his hooves for a moment before giving her a shy, nervous grin.
“...hey, mom. I’m back. Guess you were right after all.”
Bittle Boop smiled back at him, tears building at the corners of her eyes and magic sparking as she wrapped it around her son to pull him into a hug, both of them leaning into each other.
“I told you, didn’t I? A little Bittle of sunshine is all it takes, sometimes.”
Author's Note
Alphabittle's mom is called Bittle Boop and I will die on this hillcanon.
A friend of mine sketched up her cutie mark at my request.
(There is no clear description of her because I honestly couldn't decide on a specific design and didn't really think about it in the first place. She's the warmest smile in Bridlewood, soft hugs and good advice and a cutie mark of sharing love through pony boops. I feel like that's all you need to know to know how she looks.)
