A Scaly RevelationEarly the next morning, Twilight came home and shut the door. "Spike, I'm home!" She called out to her assistant who was fast asleep with Scootaloo in his arms. Hearing Twilight call caused Spike to slowly open his eyes and look at Scootaloo, he gasped at what he saw and sat up, he rubbed his eyes to make sure that what he saw wasn't a dream. Scootaloo woke up next as she let out a yawn and stretched. She saw that Spike's mouth was agape in shock prompting a curious question from her. "What's wrong, Spike? Scootaloo asked as she put an arm out to hold his shoulder. She gasped as she saw her hand was now clawed, getting up quickly she ran into the bathroom and shrieked in terror at what she saw. The shriek was so loud that it alerted Twilight who came running upstairs to see if everything was ok, as she rushed through the door she saw Spike comforting Scootaloo who was rocking back and forth in the fetal position, Twilight's jaw dropped at what she saw. Scootaloo who was once an anthro pegasus, was now an anthro dragon. Standing there shocked, Twilight just gazed at her adopted son and an anthro dragon who used to be an anthro pony. "Twilight, please help!" Spike cried out not knowing what to do. "I-I don't know what I can do, Spike. How did this happen?" Twilight asked as she approached them to get a better look. "I'm not sure either, I just remember that we were having inter……" Spike began to say before being nudged by Scootaloo who didn't want him to tell Twilight. Spike looked at Scootaloo before speaking. "We have to tell her Scoots, we have to figure this out." He said in a caring tone. Scootaloo sighed. "Ok, I guess it's the only way. Spike begins to speak again, but gets interrupted by Twilight. "Hold on, Spike. I'll go get Ember, Smolder, and Garble and his friends, maybe they can help." Twilight said as she started to pen a letter. "In the meantime, you should stay here, Scootaloo." Twilight said, getting an understanding nod from her. A few hours later Garble and his friends showed up with Ember in tow. Smolder had already arrived to keep Scootaloo and Spike company, taking a break from her studies to help out. Twilight had also summoned Rainbow to come over, thinking she should know. "Thank you for coming, I could really use the help." Twilight said as she greeted the guests and led them to where Scootaloo and Spike were. Twilight opened the door slowly as the jaws of her guest dropped at what they saw, the pony they once knew was now a dragon from head to toe. She sat on the floor as Smolder rubbed her shoulders trying to keep her calm as Spike searched frantically through the books in the library for an answer. "I'm glad you called us Twilight." Garble said breaking the silence as he entered the room, he looked Scootaloo over, examining her from all sides. "I've heard of this before, I read about it a long time ago. Spike is the type of dragon that can transform another creature into a dragon." Garble started to explain before being cut off by Rainbow Dash. "YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT WHOEVER SPIKE BUCK WILL TURN INTO A DRAGON!?" Rainbow yelled, a little distraught about Scootaloo's metamorphosis, but also had a hint of intrigue in her voice. Garble put a claw up. "Please, let me finish, but to answer your question. No, it's not that simple. The dragon who can do this has to truly love the one their bucking, same as the partner, and the other party has to want it to." Garble looked at Scootaloo. "You all told me Scootaloo couldn't fly right? I'm guessing her love for Spike and the desire to fly is what triggered this transformation." Garble informed Twilight with nods of conformation coming from the rest of the dragons. "C-can it be reversed?" Rainbow asked only for Garble to shake his head no. "No, it's a permanent transformation, you can change her for a day back to pony, but she'll always revert back." Garble informed them as he took a seat next to Twilight. "My friends and I can teach her how to fly and to breathe fire, but you all better discuss what to do from here." Garble said as he began to walk out the door, passing Thorax on his way out. Thorax was out of breath as he huffed and wheezed. "I came as soon as I could, is it true, is Scootaloo really a dragon?" He asked as he took a deep breath. "Yes, it appears it's because Spike is a special dragon that can do that. But it has to be mutual." Twilight said as she threw her arms around Thorax in a hug." Sounds of eight footsteps could be heard as Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom rushed into the castle, their eyes widened when they saw Scootaloo. "Scoots, yer a dragon now?" Apple Bloom asked as Scootaloo nodded. "That's so awesome." Sweetie Belle exclaimed as she came over for a closer look. "You always told us you wondered what it was like to be a dragon." Sweetie Belle continued as Scootaloo blushed, not having told that to anyone else. "Sweetie Belle come on, I told you that in confidence." Scootaloo replied out of embarrassment. Rainbow Dash came over to Scootaloo and put her hand on her shoulder. "Don't be embarrassed, squirt. I actually wonder what it's like to be a griffon." Rainbow told Scootaloo so she wouldn't be that embarrassed. "Really? Scootaloo asked only to get a nod from Rainbow Dash. Twilight giggled because Rainbow had told her this too, but she had to pull the brakes on the idle chit-chat. "So, what are we going to do?" Twilight asked. "Well, I think we should let Scootaloo's parents and aunts know." Rainbow chimed in with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle nodding in agreement. "Alright, I'll pen a letter to the parents myself, or better yet, I'll teleport there myself. Applejack, could you go tell the aunts?" "Can do, Twilight." Applejack said before galloping off. "Wait, I did this to her, I think it'll be best if I told her parents." Spike said as he came closer to Twilight, holding her hand to teleport with her "Right, that is understandable, you've become so mature, Spike. Momma's so proud of you." Twilight said as she gingerly pinched his cheek causing him to blush. She then prepared her teleportation spell and teleported away.
Confessions and ProposalsAt Shire Lanka, Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood were working diligently combing through today's findings when they heard a knock at their door. "Come in" Mane said as she put down her pen to see their guest. Twilight and Spike came in and greeted her, "Good afternoon, Mane." Twilight said as Snap came in. "Princess, to what do we owe the pleasure?" Snap asked as he greeted them. "Well, I think you two should sit down for this." Twilight replied as they all sat down on couches adjacent facing each other. "Mr. Snap Shutter, Mrs. Mane Allgood." Spike began to speak before hesitating a bit before continuing. "The other night, Scootaloo and I had a night of passion and now she's a dragon, we can't transform her back." Hearing this immediately sent Snap into a frenzy. "ARE YOU BUCKING KIDDING ME YOU SCALY BASTARD?! WE DECIDE TO LET SCOOTALOO STAY AND THIS HAPPENS!" he shouted trying to attack Spike, but was held back by his wife. "Now calm down, dear." Mane said as she tried to calm him down. "Don't tell me to be calm, he deflowered our little girl. How are you not mad?" Snap replied as he tried to get loose of her grip. "I am upset, but Snap. There's nothing we can do, she's a grown mare and can make her own choices. She's still our daughter after all." She replied as she held him back forcing him to take a deep breath. Twilight as her arm outstretched trying to keep Spike safe as Mane holds back Snap. Spike cautiously speaks up. "I'm sorry, it seems like she wanted to become a dragon, at least that's how I'm told my magic works. But the two partners have to genuinely love each other also. But Snap, I promise I'll take good care of your daughter, and if she gets pregnant, I've already decided I'll marry her. I was going to actually propose in the future anyway because I really love her." Spike said as he got lost in thought of him and Scootaloo living happily together. Snap calmed down enough, but took a deep breath and left the room, he was gone for several minutes before returning. "Here, I want you to have this, it was Scootaloo's grandmother's ring, she wanted Scootaloo to have it when she got married. She left it to her in her will, but had us hold onto it when the time was right, and now I think it is." Snap gave the ring to Spike and patted him on the back. "I don't expect you to forgive me for what I said earlier, but I am sorry. I was just mad, you'll understand when you have kids." Snap finished as he went to continue his work. "I'm sure I will, sir. And I forgive you." Spike said as Snap left. "We better go, Spike. We still have to explain to others and think about what to do." Twilight said as she grabbed his hand and prepared her teleportation spell and gently teleported away. Meanwhile at the School of Friendship, Smolder was tellinging her friends about Scootaloo's transformation. "That's so cool." Gallus said as he and his friends listened to Smolder explain how it happened. Elsewhere Applejack was sitting on the couch across from Auntie Lofty and Aunt Holiday as she joined them for tea. "So, what brings you here, desire?" Aunt Holiday asked as she sat next to Lofty. "I really can't sugarcoat it for y'all so I'll just say it. Scootaloo has turned into a dragon from a night of passion spent with Spike." Applejack said as she sipped her tea. Lofty and Holiday looked at each other before Lofty answered. "Scootaloo's a grown filly, she can make her own choices, but I know Holiday's brother won't take it so easy, but nonetheless we thank you for informing us, Applejack." Lofty said as she offered her a tea cake. Applejack took one and took a bite savoring the sweet flavor that complemented the tea exceptionally well. "Thank you, I shouldn't stick around too long, we have to discuss what should be done." Applejack said as she prepared to leave. "You're always welcome to come over anytime if you want," Lofty said as they waved to Applejack goodbye. A few weeks passed and Scootaloo and Spike were staying at the castle. Scootaloo had been throwing up for much of the day so Spike and Twilight decided to take her to the hospital. They were joined by Scootaloo's aunts and parents, the rest of the mane six Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle, Garble and his friends, Ember, Thorax and the student six. The waiting room was packed as Spike and Scootaloo saw the doctor. After what seemed like hours Spike, Scootaloo, and the doctor came out. Scootaloo was holding a bucket as she walked. "Well, is everything alright?" Twilight asked as she got up from her seat. "Twilight, Scootaloo's pregnant with six eggs, I'm going to be a dad." Spike said as he smiled, getting surprised gasps from everyone. "Also, I'm glad everyone is here because." Spike stopped mid-sentence as he faced Scootaloo and got on one knee. Scootaloo gasped as he began to speak. "Scootaloo, we've been dating for a while now, and I've never been happier than when I'm with you, we share our interest with each other and even get along extremely well. So, in front of everyone, I want to ask you." He paused as he pulled her ring. "Will you make me the happiest drake, by marrying me?" Spike asked as Scootaloo's eyes watered up. "Yes." Scootaloo said and Spike slid the ring on her finger. "Oh, Spike. This is my grandmother's ring, she always said that when it was time for me to marry, she wanted me to have this." Scootaloo kissed Spike as the audience applauded them on their engagement. Scootaloo approached Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Smolder. "Can I ask you girls for a big favor?" She asked only to get nods. "Would you three be my maids of honor?" She asked as all three smiled and agreed. As Scootaloo talked to them Spike went up to Thorax. "Hey, bud. Congratulations." Thorax said, giving his friend a good pat on the back. "Thanks, Thorax. I actually have a question for you." Spike said as he blushed from the pat on the back. "Would you like to be my best man?" Spike asked. "I would be honored to, Spike. I wish you and Scootaloo a happy marriage." Thorax said as he accepted the role.
Married and HappyMonths passed until the day of the wedding, Spike and Scootaloo asked Pinkie Pie to plan the festivities. Scootaloo was heavily pregnant at this point and it showed, but she still had a month at most before she laid her eggs or so they thought. She was getting ready in her room when her parents and Rainbow Dash came in to congratulate her. Unfortunately, Scootaloo was having second thoughts as she wondered if she was ready, and wondered if Spike really loved her. Without her saying a word her father knew what she was thinking, he placed his hand on her shoulder and pulled her into a hug. "Spike really loves you, he proved that when he came to tell us. He already knew he wanted to marry you. And you're gonna be a wonderful mother." Snap said as he hugged her close. "Thanks, Dad." Scootaloo said as the organ began to play starting the wedding. Spike stood at the altar as Flurry Heart paved the way with flowers, the attendees stood as Scootaloo was walked down the aisle by her parents and Rainbow Dash. Thorax stood by Spike's side and the maids of honor Smolder, Apple Bloom, And Sweetie Belle stood with Ocellus, Silverstream, and Yona who Scootaloo asked to be her bridesmaids. Spike's tuxedo was pure white complete with a white top hat with a black strap around it. Scootaloo's dress was reminiscent of Cadence's white dress from when she got married, she wore a tiara atop her veil as she was handed off to Spike. Her father gave Spike a firm handshake before sitting down. Mayor Mare started the service as everyone sat down. The wedding wrapped up in about an hour or two and right after Spike and Scootaloo kissed, Scootaloo bent over in pain as she screamed "IT'S TIME!" Spike, thinking quickly, picked up Scootaloo and flew her to the hospital where she laid six eggs. A month passed after the wedding and Scootaloo started her training as a dragon after moving to the dragon lands, her parents watched as she learned how to fly and breathe fire from Garble and his friends. After one long day of training, Scootaloo came home to see Spike reading to the eggs. When Spike saw she was home he kissed her and as soon as he did, they heard a small crack as the eggs began to hatch. Out came three boys and three girls. Spike and Scootaloo smiled out of joy as they held their children. One day, Twilight called Spike and Scootaloo to the castle, so they had Smolder babysit for them. At Twilight's castle Spike and Scootaloo sat on the couch as Twilight pulled out a gift. "I was going to give this to you both at your wedding, but then you know, but I know you two will love it." Twilight said as she gave them the box. Opening the box, Spike and Scootaloo saw two bracelets with a push button. "They're teleportation bracelets, they have an unlimited supply of magic so you can always come here whenever you want, they'll even take you back to the dragon lands." Twilight said as she sat down next to Thorax who had a ring on his finger. Spike teared up as he got up and hugged Twilight. "Thanks mom." He said as Twilight wrapped her wings around him. When Spike and Scootaloo returned home, they saw one of their kids asleep in Smolder's arms. Seeing this Spike and Scootaloo smiled and decided. They sat down next to Smolder. "Smolder, you're really good with our kids." Spike said as he put his claw on her shoulder. Scootaloo continued Spike's thought. "Which is why Spike and I want you to be our children's godmother if anything were to happen to us." Smolder's eyes welled up with tears as she nodded in acceptance. "I would love to, thank you." She said as she laid their kid in the cradle before leaving. Years passed and one of Spike's and Scootaloo's daughters now works for Twilight's son, she is his number one assistant just as Spike was for Twilight. Scootaloo has mastered flying and breathing fire and flies around frequently. Spike smiles as Scootaloo lands next to him as they look at the sunset as it becomes night. They kiss each other as they retire to bed for the night.
