This was just a story i done for a halloween collab with Princebluemoon3 and after that, i decided to put that little scrip in this site. I hope you like that little story.
The deal
The storm king was the great and ruthless emperor of his vast empire who used his thunder as his drums to announce the river of blood that will follow if they do not unite. No kingdom could stand against the wrath of the heavens, the savagery of steel, and the burning of the thunder.
The empire was titanic, but not free of problems, it was necessary to take care of it too much if it did not want revolutions to emerge, it was not enough with invasions nor do theaters about the deaths of the rulers to destroy morale, the storm king needed something more, a great power.
So the king start to read the foreign books he had for trophies and entertainment. He found the legend of creatures thirsty for chaos that could twist reality itself like toys, the feared and enigmatic draconequus that could transform whoever dares to enter their kingdom into one of their own.
He only had to sacrifice something precious to have the key. It's hard to make the decision, so he gave the only one he liked and that, if he laughed at his jokes, Gubber, a night that he would never forget.
Storm King and Gubber had dinner under the moonlight as they talked about their days while dancing in the tangle of waves to Gubber's favorite song.
They were the only moments where Gubber didn't feel like trash, but they had to end those moments with a knife to the back, accompanied by sobs of confusion. The storm king could only regret.
He wasted no time and began with the rite, making a circle of blood symbols around the victim and then finishing the job with his eyes closed so as not to see the suffering of his comrade.
A resplendent light closed the curtains of the ritual and everything became dark. The king was patient for a long time until, unexpectedly, Gubber stood up as if he were a zombie that greatly surprised the storm king.
Gubber is walking in the same direction with a lost look and did a ritual moving his arms in a mechanized way to open a triangular portal. A great ambient silence to generate discomfort, but it was destroyed when Gubber turned his head in such a way that there was a loud crack and babble about following his blood trail.
The king follows the words of the corpse and enters a dimension where he can only see 2 things, Gubber's gray eyes and an infinite pink void that is only accompanied by music from the 50s and the only thing that would not let them fall from said void. It is the crimson trail left by the late comrade.
Gubber stopped walking and put his hands in his mouth to open his head so that his tongue can look up at the sky. Said tongue lengthens to become stairs of flesh. The storm king is too sorry and disgusted by the whole thing, but the payoff will be well worth it.
The king went up and up until he reached a warm and suspiciously quiet cabin, where the goat of anarchy lived, Discord who welcomed him with hot chocolate. The two sat in a carefully decorated dining room to eat some cookies to discuss that the king has been the first visit they have had for centuries and he knows that Storm is here to become a draconequus, since no one would sacrifice loved ones just to visit but It would be nice if it were the opposite.
Storm King confirms Discord's assumption, he just wants to keep his empire afloat. To which the goat of anarchy cordially says that he must overcome the scenarios that the inhabitants of the chaotic place that will only be 3, and do not worry too much, his will not leave him with psychological scars unlike those of his girlfriend and Her cousin.
Discord shows him the door that the king must follow to continue his journey and wishes him to break his leg as a sign of good luck.
Birdsong sets the green garden and vast of life where the Storm King is right now, paradoxically there was nothing strange in a place manufactured by a chaotic entity, the yeti obviously felt that things were going to be wrong.
Suddenly the chorus of birds coordinated to sing an oddly familiar song, announcing a heavy shower of chocolate. The storm king tried to find shelter while he was still listening to the songs of the birds.
Not even the thunder that turned into serpents when they hit the ground stop the chorus of birds.
Storm King tries to control the weather since they call him the king of storms for something, but it was useless, the only composer of nature here is Discord who showed up with a jacket of a king of pop and a mask of a Phantom of the opera in a stadium that 100 flying pigs carry to make it fly.
Discord with his stick makes an orchestra of heavy rain of hot chocolate, snake thunder and silver spikes that rise from the ground to destroy the garden with great intensity, bizarrely his orchestra can reproduce the same song as the birds.
The king could only flee as if he were a citizen of a kingdom that he previously conquered, he tries to keep his composure while he prevents the thunder snakes from biting him. It seemed like an infinite road that could be because of Discord's mischievous nature, however, Discord knows that a game where the host only wins is boring so he left another door for him so the king could get out.
Upon entering the door, he found a city of Gothic architecture that was devastated and with pieces of living flesh that was stuck in the concrete, with eyes that stare at the yeti that is somewhat tired but determined to continue with the journey. The only thing he had to worry about was the tentacles and spikes of bone that surrounded the place that were not as intense as Discord's.
The funniest thing is that the threat was not the stage but a tiny mosquito that bit the king a little, at first he did not give it importance, but his desire to scratch gradually intensified to such an extent that he was already doing it indiscriminately all over his body without realizing that he is tearing his own flesh and the worst thing is that that same flesh is transforming into monsters.
The threat was not as catastrophic as a natural disaster and the storm king with his own claws could control the monsters, yet he still spawned more and more monsters each time he scratched himself, seeming to an infinite cycle.
In the distance the serpent of malice, Cosmos, could be seen laughing while eating popcorn on a stretcher. Storm King approaches her so she can ask her about how to stop that, she could possibly behave like someone nice like Discord.
Cosmos exclaimed to leave her alone, since her fun was in the suffering of others. Those words came out of the yeti's ear that he wanted a way to break free and complete his journey. The Serpent of Malice has had enough of the yeti and gives him a lotion to stop his itching.
The yeti quickly put the lotion on his arm, but stopped when he saw that the itch was the least of his problems, his arm is melting as if they had put acid on it. He is accompanied with the sour laughter of Cosmos who does not believe that he has fallen for that trick and thanks him for being her circus monkey in centuries.
The only answer that the yeti could give was to run as he has done all the way in the chaotic dimension, the good thing is that his pain from his melted arm makes him stop thinking about the itch. He ran and ran until he reaches an abandoned casino class where he misleads the meat monsters.
The king felt some tranquility surrounded by the darkness of the casino, he really questioned whether such outrages are worth it to obtain great power, but he slapped himself since he only needs one last stage to have great power.
The lights come on and it is an elegant casino with purple tones of neon, with a good food service although that did not mean that the casino players are made up of people who had previously killed like gray beings with green eyes who are distracted in the game. play. The yeti sits at the only table where none of the corpses were, only the peacock of misfortune, Eris.
The peacock gives a cordial greeting and saying him to don't worry about the place, her magic is more sophisticated than from the couple he met previously, here it only depends on luck. As she spoke, the tired storm king waved the dice and interrupted Eris's speech as he already wants to have the power.
The misfortune peacock was very offended by that and she is glad that her dice have given her to die 100 times when she could have gotten some money or a quiet life. Now he simply gets a pedicure while casino players assassinate the storm king in different ways such as putting wires in his eyes so that he gets electrocuted, being burned, being stabbed with glass by various parts of his body, being skinned, beheaded by a machine. slot machines, choking on bottles of alcohol, and various other ways Eris is not interested in either, she just wants to maintain her personal beauty.
Already Eris pays attention to the poor yeti when casino players merge with the yeti to form a giant, unrecognizable ball, the only reaction she has is to open an umbrella as she was preparing for an explosion of dirt and alcohol.
Moments later, a full-bodied storm king awakens in a room where Eris, Cosmos and Discord were celebrating their victory on all 3 stages, bringing a moment of happiness to the storm king because he will finally receive the magic of chaos even though he is curious why The posters in the room said they were having a baby shower and a birthday at the same time.
The silence accompanied by the smiles of the draconequus generated too much distrust in the yeti that he began to feel pains in his stomach that later emerged in that his stomach was beginning to swell.
The stomach grew bigger and bigger that you could see the red stretch marks, the king's legs no longer resisted the weight that he dropped and the pain increased. The only thing he could do was laugh as he understood the joke on the stage. His belly was the size of an adult yeti, but still the king was laughing at the situation until his tune was stopped by an explosion that filled the room with blood, leaving Discord and Cosmos covered as Eris used the umbrella for the situation.
The only response they gave was applause, but not because the show has ended but because the storm king was reborn as a draconequus that still had his yeti face with 4 eyes and a rhino horn, 2 cloud arms and another 2 of an octopus. that accompanied his torso, condor wings, tiger legs and a scorpion tail. He even he kept laughing with joy at the whole situation, he finally he is a draconequus, which means that he can use the chaos magic.
The reborn draconequus tried to make an offense against the 3 inhabitants, but nothing happened, only laughter provoked. Storm King tried to question the situation, but he felt like he was gasping for air as the laughter still continued.
Discord said that they were going to transform him into a draconequus, magic is not included even though magic allows first-time bodies to adapt their strange anatomy of organs to become a single being.
With that, the 3 draconequus are withdrawing from the place while the yeti complains about how evil they are, Eris emphasizes that he was a genocide, so he should not complain, and Cosmos contributes to the argument with that, if that were not The case, they only want fun, not to fulfill other people's wishes.
The room only had the king sprawled on the floor, he may have screamed in frustration or tried to get up to get revenge on his abusers, but he chose to cry silently while questioning whether they transformed him into a monster or if they exposed his true selves, all while the light in the room flickered to finally go out.
