Dreams of a sith and first contact
Everfree forest
Ivo foota woke up and looked around, behind him was a black vortex which he must have come out off, he was on a planet with basic flora, trees and grass, he was in a forest, there wasn’t a forest near the temple but the tree’s in this forest were the wrong type. It was also daytime and by the sun it was the wrong time of day, it had been mid morning back on Naboo and here the sun was setting.

The artifact must have been a relic that teleported you to unknown locations, it was the only explanation, “i honestly expected a holocron jedi or sith” Ivo thought now, he then heard a loud crackling noise behind him, he quickly turned around to see the vortex beginning to close. “Oh that’s not good” Ivo said to himself as he wasted no time in running away from the vortex and behind a tree.

It was not enough unfortunately as with a loud BOOM the vortex imploded and anything not embedded into the ground was sent flying from the force, including Ivo, he hit his head and became unconscious immediately, this was not good for him. Just to note Ivo would have a migraine when he woke up not because he had hit his head but because of the after effects of the portal explosive energy wave which any very powerful force sensitive would get a migraine from.

Canterlot castle
This is exactly what happened to two very powerful beings on the planet, for Ivo was on the world of equestria, where magic was used to develop and not technology, though tech was a part of pony life. The ponies were anthropometric as most sentient species were but they wore clothes of random ages and were very primitive compared to some other species in the galaxy.

Celestia was one of these beings, she was a white Alicorn, that is to say and combination of an earth pony, pegasus and unicorn, with large wings, a long horn, a multicolored mane and tail that moved like it was in the wind on its own accord. She wore a very light blue almost white dress embroidered with gold.

She was lowering the sun so Luna could raise the moon, then the two felt what could be described as an invisible wave pass over the two sisters, Celestia lost focus and lowered the sun for a second. She recovered and resumed until the sun was fully lowered then turned to her sister who started to raise the moon as they started their conversation.

Luna was dark blue alicorn and was slightly shorter than Celestia, with a sparkling blue main and tail and wore more of a warriors outfit as she still liked to keep to the old fighting ways, unlike her sister, Luna was the more quick tempered of the two and always had trouble letting go of the old ways, though even Celestia would agree to her sister when war was inevitable.

“Did you feel that Luna?” Celestia asked, “yes it’s strange, never have we felt anything like this before” Luna replied, she had gotten used to not using the old english version of speaking and had come to terms with modern pronunciation and vocabulary since her banishment was over. “It came from the everfree, we’ll send guards first, whatever created that wave felt weak shouldn’t be a problem for them” Celestia said confidently.

“And if they don't, do you realize that those guards have become more and more useless, correct?” Luna asked, “then we’ll send Princess twilight and her friends along to defeat it” Celestia said still confident. Luna wasn’t as sure but she would have to trust her sister for the moment before they would have to take things into their own hands.

Unfortunately it was not the only portal to be opened and in fact it was the only one close enough to be sensed by them, the rest scattered around the world.

Dark side of the moon
The ship known as the Wrath of Night had been teleported behind the moon out of sight from equestria, in fact the ship itself had to land on the moon in order to check for damages, and to send drones to explore the surface of the moon. Kala-ra was absolutely pissed but did have restraint unlike many known sith, “well your highness what now, shall i bring a platoon to explore the world?” asked Cro proa, “no eleventh brother not yet” Kala-ra said as she sat on her throne and collected her thoughts.

Proa sensed the force around her and after a minute she returned to reality, “my apprentice, the bounty hunters and Stryker live” she declared, “they are on the planet trying to contact them” “yes ma’am” the ship communication engineers replied.

“What about our enemies?” Proa asked, “if we survived then it’s likely they survived as well” Kala-ra admitted, “be ready to find them and engage them if they are on the nearby planet”

Unknown location
Algress mago woke up and claws at the earth with his metal arm, he felt the dirt, he looked around, he was in a thick forest, he drew his axe lightsaber and began cutting with the metal blade, whatever that crystal was it was certainly powerful, very powerful, but he was sure of one thing, “curse i’m on an unknown planet”. Someone was trying to communicate with him but his communicator was damaged, regretfully he continued to trek through the uncharted territory.

The Zabrak cut away at another bit of foliage and walked out to find something not too far away from his particular spot, “a hive kingdom?” Algress said out loud recognizing the particular design of a castle-like structure up ahead. “Odd. perhaps these are the native life forms, and perhaps they can aid me”, and with that he slid down a ledge into the baron area of the land and began walking towards the castle-like structure which seemed to be made out of rock.

But then from a rock a black humanoid bug/horse-like creature appeared, no it had been the rock and had just transformed in a burst of green flames, “odd. But could it be some kind of magic” Algress thought as his homeworld was dathomir, he knew well of the nightsisters magic and even his right arm seemed to have some magical properties.

More creatures similar to the first one walked around, appearing the same way as the first one, male and female. They buzzed around and much to Ra's surprise, spoke. From a distance, the man spotted a female creature in a castle of sorts, he assumed it was the leader of this kingdom. Maybe he could manipulate her to his advantage and then the remnant empire's advantage.

“I wish to speak to your leader” Algress declared, the creatures looked at each other before motioning to follow, they brought him into the castle from their two more of the creatures escorted him, these were bigger than the others and wore bluish green armor and had blades on their arms.

The creatures knelt down in a bowing position in front of the throne which looked to be suspended in the air on a rock pillar, on it was a black insectoid that seemed female, with blue hair and a crown. It jumped down holding what appeared to be a mini scepter in hand and it’s black jagged horn on its head glowed a little, Algress could tell immediately that she was assessing him, figuring out if he was a threat.

"Easy there, your highness. I'm not here to harm you. In fact from the looks of it, you all could use some help." he noticed as he looked around the dirty hive kingdom, but he still meant his word that he was no harm yet.

The queen seemed to ponder on his words ``At ease, subject." a female voice ordered, finally deciding that the sith was not a threat and everyone immediately relaxed, a little too much in Algress’s opinion. “But what are you and more importantly who are you

"I am deeply sorry for my lack of manners, i am Algress Mago dark lord of the sith order of the remnant empire." he greeted with a bow, this was a lot of information for the queen to absorbed and she seemed doubtful and was about to ask more but Algress read her mind, both with the force and from her face "To put things simply, I'm from a galactic wide empire in a large war and i was brought here on accident." he revealed to her "Now, may I ask who and what you are miss...?"

"Chrysalis. Queen Chrysalis. And you're in the changeling kingdom. But as you can see, it is not in the best shape." she gestured to the village she ruled.

Algress nodded, "I see... May I ask how this came to be?"

Chrysalis growled and gritted her teeth, "Those ponies keep getting in our way. Our species feed off of love, but the only way we can get to eat is if we take it by force. And since Princess Celestia and her annoying subjects have prevented our chance to feed time and again, we are starving and have been ever since our failed attempt at conquering the capital some months back." she explained.

"Hm...might i propose an alliance” Algress offered, “a bit of shared information about the galaxy i come from and this world to my side, and help form an alliance with the Remnant empire and then if my master see’s fit, aid in conquering this world for the empire”.

“How do I know I can trust you?” Chrysalis asked, “give me a few hours to contact my empire. if i was transported here, it is likely some allies of mine would have as well”. Chrysalis decided on accepting the offer, “very well do what you must but don’t take too long” she said.

Algress sat down in a corner of the room and meditated in order to contact his master.

the Everfree forest the middle of the night
inside the everfree forest there were Six ponies traveling, the first one had received a letter from Princess celestia, she was an alicorn named princess Twilight sparkle who was the student of Princess Celestia and the most recently crowned princess of friendship and the council of friendship.

She wore a rather schoolgirl-like uniform, her mane and tail were purple with pink stripes in it, her purple wings were folded up close to her back, she still hasn't gotten used to them, “okay everyone clear on the situation?” She asked the rest of her group her friends.

Rarity was the white unicorn with a purple main and in a white and blue dress that was absolutely not suited for the everfree forest, but she didn’t wear anything else and besides everyone was used to her complaining.

Next was Rainbow dash, a cyan blue pegasus with a rainbow main and wore a sports outfit, considering her speed and tallent it was appropriate, if she did have her fault it was her arrogance and boasting. Still she was as loyal to her friends as the royal guards were to their princess.

Next was the ever carefree Pinkie pie, true to her name she was all pink with the exception of her black and white shirt she wore under her pink shirt, she always seemed to bounce around and had that smile on her face. Sometimes it was a bit off putting especially in a serious situation.

Applejack, safe to say, was the best pony to have on a mission like this, she was brave, strong and overall suited for this kind of mission, she wore a cowboy ranch style outfit complete with a cowgirl hat, her family owned an apple farm so it was reasonable enough that the family was rather western.

Fluttershy was the second best person to have on this mission, although you would never have guessed that from her shy demeanor hence her name, the butter colored pegasus with the pink mane, green dress and white skirt, always tended to the animals from the forest, even the ones that tried to eat her the first time she met something.

And finally there was Spike, a small purple and green dragon, but he was strong for his size considering he was carrying everyone’s camping gear, he was still technically a baby dragon since he had no wings yet, he was the smallest of the seven but was very useful to have around.

All of them were rather tired but had managed to get to bed early due to a very vexing day. They had all slept perhaps from 5:00 to 11:00.

“Uh yeah but are you sure we are going the right way Twilight?” Rainbow dash asked, “uh the letter said the place where the magic burst happened was near the castle of the two sisters” Spike pointed out. “Spike’s right, just keep an eye and ear out for anything unusual,” Twilight said.

“Uh dear me” Rarity said as she stepped into a muddy puddle, it would dry off but Rarity still made a big fuss about her high heels, “if you're going to complain next time wear something different” Applejack suggested.

“Uh I wouldn’t dare leave my favourite dress especially in a time of urgency” Rarity retorted, the group sighed contentedly. “Hey Guys guess what” Pinkie pie said jumping in front of the group, “what?” Fluttershy asked quietly, “where here!” Pinkie said revealing that they were indeed at the castle of the two sisters, “we should make camp inside” Twilight said, ``we'll search the everfree tomorrow for clues.”.

Everyone heartily agreed, it was never a good idea to search the everfree at night, it was bad in the day but it was far worse at night, at least they could see during daytime, so they walked across the bridge and entered the castle setting up their tents and a fire they had a small second dinner before going to bed and sleep.

But as they drifted to sleep someone else awoke, not too far away.

Unknown location north of the palace
Ivo woke up with a migraine like I said he would, he took his time to recover by meditating for about 10 minutes, it was a rough 10 minutes but the headache was gone by the end of it. “Now it’s time to find out exactly where I am,” he said to himself.

He set off in a brisk run down south, it was the best option because there was the outline of a castle roof that way that could be seen just over the tree line.

Ivo ran for a good few minutes when he began to sense something around him, all Jedi, even Padawans, knew how to sense things and how to distinguish them. In this case Ivo could sense that something was hunting him.

So he slowed himself down and waited in the forest, from the shadows somethings did come out, pack hunters easy to tell, and canine like. All made out of wood and surrounded Ivo, their green eyes watching him, “Strange” Ivo thought as he observed them, “looks like they are not willing to let me off”

Ivo ignited one blade of his purple lightsaber, the first one punched by Ivo sidestepped and cut off one of the creatures legs and deeply cut its side rather close to the area where the heart would be, the thing fell to the ground and crumpled into wood. The other creatures took a few cautious step back growling, but not backing down as two ran around and tried to attack at the same time, but Ivo caught the first one and held it with the force and cut the second horizontally.

He then crushed the first one and threw the crumpled creature at its remaining compatriots; the impact made wood spray everywhere. That was easy, if there were more it could have been a problem, but whatever these creatures hunted must have been easy to kill for them to be almost cocky in a way.

“Try harder and you’ll get dinner” Ivo quipped, but he knew Jedi should not get cocky themselves, anyway Ivo liked to make fights quick when he could help it while not trying to exhaust his energy on force related abilities.

Ivo continued through the forest. He was making good progress, however he took the trees and began jumping and running from branch to branch, eventually after about 20 minutes he made it to his destination.

“Impressive, amid slightly primitive” Ivo said to himself quietly, then he realised the implications, this castle though still crumbling and maybe 1000+ years old, implied that space travel was not found on this planet yet. More advanced planets often shared resources with primitive planets to help it advance quicker.

This planet was new and had been discovered accidentally and by non space travel means, getting off world or making contact with the rest of the galaxy could be ni-on impossible.

Oh well best to worry about that later, he climbed one of the towers he would rest up there for the night, and got into a reasonably comfortable position. The force would sustain him, he closed his eyes and sleep took him.

Dream world
As the night went on and Ponies grew deeper and deeper into sleep, the dreamworld became filled with more and more doors with dreams. Luna being the princess of the night was the one who would look after these dreams.

Tonight all seemed normal, not so much as one bad dream let alone a nightmare, and all these doors led to ponies dreams, if they had a nightmare she would sense it.

However tonight in the long corridor, there were two that caught her attention, one held an emotion of pain and the other was peaceful. “Odd” she said as the two felt like polar opposites and yet the same being.

“I should investigate'' she went to go to the one with the feeling of pain but when she tried opening the door, she couldn’t, she tried again, nothing, she blasted it with a magic beam out of frustration, still nothing, this door wasn’t letting her in. She tried the other one with the same result. These two must have had very strong minds indeed to resist her.

“Then she said something in the air. It was a haze of some kind, a very light haze, it was walking like it was going down stairs but it was possible that the only thing clear about the haze.

Other than that it was impossible to make out, but Luna decided it was just a simple dream construction, “leave dream construct you are not needed here” she said to it.

But those words were swallowed and the construct ignored her, and the door opened for it, and it walked inside, Luna recovered from her shock and followed just before the door closed, it was the door with the feeling of pain.

The feeling of pain was not unbearable but it certainly was uncomfortable. Luna walked in what seemed like an otherworldly forest. The sky was red and cloudy; the strange haze continued to walk unperturbed through this forest. It’s head turned in something like curiosity, to Luna this looked like a place of a nightmare, but it didn’t feel like a nightmare even if it should. She was powerful enough to tell the difference between a good dream and a nightmare and for some reason this was not a nightmare.

The Haze then turned a corner at a tree and Luna began hearing two voices conversing with each other. Luna hugged the tree and looked around the corner and saw a sight that made her shiver in fear. There was an anthropometric creature standing and conversing with the haze. Its eyes glowed a sickly orange made even more terrifying by the cloak and hood that completely covered the creature's face in darkness.

The cloak hid the right side of the creature but the left sight was visible, orange skin with black tattoos covered the creature with a warrior's loincloth and in hand was a nasty looking axe. “Unusual place, this has never happened before” said the creature as it looked around its surroundings, “no it hasn’t” the haze sounding female said. “But I believe this is what you, the demon child of Dathomir, would have been if I had not found you and trained you”.

“So this is but a dream? that’s new to the force” the creature said, “yes but let’s tend to our guest first” the Haze responded turning to where Luna was hiding. Luna had to be respected for she showed herself with little fear, “stop twisting the creatures mind apparition and leave this dream” she ordered the haze, said haze chuckled in amusement, “let me deal with this” she said to the creature who nodded and sat cross legged.

Luna fired a beam from her horn at the apparition but the magic when straight through as if the Haze wasn’t their, Luna was gobsmacked this had not happened, the Haze floated quickly over to her and reached to her head, Luna was not unduly worried by this as no dream no matter how powerful could harm her.

And that was when the Haze’s hands phased into her head like a ghost and pain instantly shot through her, she yelled in pain as the apparition with drew both hands and in between them was a sort of ink like substance that swirled around in the air gently, Luna fell to her knees.

She tried one last assault and fired a beam, but like before it just passed right through, “she’s in your head your choice with what to do with her” the haze to the creature as it turned its back on Luna.

The creature grabbed her seemingly telepathically with its left hand and pushed her far away, she continued on and on until Luna was blasted out the door and back into the hallway of dreams.

Luna was weak from that mind attack however the Haze did it, she stood up weakly as she looked at the door dumbfounded by this development. However that Haze had done it and that creature, both must have been powerful to do such a thing.

She had underestimated them tonight but she had more ponies to tend to, she would deal with them later, whether it would be in the dream world or the real world.

But one thing she did know was that that magic seemed familiar to her.

Back in the real world, the wrath of night
Kala-ra had been that very same haze and she had reached into Luna’s head and given her enough information to know about the basics of the planet below, she had shared it with her Apprentice, Algress and in the process and figured out where he was.

Now she woke up on her throne in the bridge of the Wrath of Night, “I have found him” she told Cro proa, “take a patrol to find him and make contact with his new allies”.

“Allies?” Proa asked, “you’ll know them when you find them” Kala-ra said dismissively, “that princess Luna, she’s powerful but lets see how she and her sister do in physical combat when it comes to that” she thought.

Equis changeling kingdom
Algress Mago awoke in Chrysalis' throne room, “well did they agree to help us?” she asked, “my empress has agreed to meet and discuss our alliance” Algress informed, “good” Chrysalis responded, “I better not regret this”.

Oh she wouldn’t, not yet at any rate.

Equis equestria castle of the two sisters the following morning
The Mane 6 woke up and had breakfast, laid out a map and began making plans, it was vegetable soup mostly along with some fish, ponies didn’t really eat meat but fish was one of the few meat they did eat.

“Okay so this area of the everfree forest is big so we’ll split into groups” Twilight said, “Rarity, you go with Fluttershy. Rainbow and Dash you two go together, Pinky you're with me and Spike”. “Woohoo!” Pinkie said jumping a full meter into the air in joy, “letsgoletsgoletsgo” she exclaimed.

Ivo watched them through his Macrobinoculars from his tower, “they look likely to get into trouble” he sighed, it was his duty as a Jedi to keep an eye on them and get them out of trouble. But until they do he would keep an eye on them from his position.

With Rarity and Fluttershy
The two girls walked around in a chasm under the stone bridge of the castle, there was a cavern down there that had the tree of harmony in it, and in the tree were the elements of harmony. “Oh it seems only yesterday darling that we had to give up the elements to get rid of those disgraceful vines” Rarity said, “yeah i miss having them” Fluttershy said quietly, “but at least the forest is peaceful and quiet now”.

Rarity gave her a look that said, ‘really?’ and Fluttershy began to cower in embarrassing, “come darling let’s continue searching” Rarity said as she turned to leave the cave.

With Rainbow dash and Applejack
The two best friends, walked in the forest a little further then they should have gone, “uh this is boring i could search the everfree in less than 20 seconds flat” Rainbow dash groaned, “that would be from above” Applejack said pointing up, “Plus these darn tree’s have some mighty thick foliage you gonna struggle to see anything”.

Rainbow sighed but she knew that AJ was right, on most occasions she would be, but if she flew up right now she would have seen an area with fallen down trees and a slightly large crater. However someone was watching them, and not just Ivo from the tower, Ivo watched them with his Macrobinoculars as Rainbow dash noticed something.

She pointed and then ran after whatever it was at surprising speed Applejack ran after, Ivo tried to see what it was but the foliage was too dense, he was about to go down when he noticed that two other ponies were in trouble, being attacked by some kind of feline creature.

Ivo decided that the immediate feline threat was more important, and so he jumped down with a lightsaber hilt drawn and ran towards Twilight and Pinkie pie.

Rainbow dash, ran ahead and tried to keep sight of whatever it was she was chasing, “Dash wait up” Applejack called as she ran, but then from behind a tree something came out and hit her in the head mid-run, she was unconscious before she hit the ground.

As for Rainbow dash, she got a bit turned around, in more ways than one, she had gotten completely lost, “come on where are you?!” She growled as she stopped and looked around, “come out and face me i ain’t afraid of yah” she challenged, no one came out, she had lost it, whatever it was, then she realised something, where was Applejack?

“AJ where are yah” she said and once again ran through the forest searching as something in the bushes watched her with yellow eyes and a skull mask covering its face.

With pinkie pie, Spike and Twilight sparkle
The three had gotten into trouble with a manticore, Spike breathed a bit of green fire at the beast but Spike’s fire was not the lethal kind and only served to anger the creature, “take this you big meany” Pinkie pie said as she pulled out her party cannon and fired, it shot a cake at the Manticore’s face and into its eyes.

“Good job Pinkie now let’s go” Twilight said as she grabbed Pinkies hand and they began jogging off in the opposite direction, but two more Manticore’s jumped out of the bushes, they were trapped “Hang on i’m going to teleport us out of here” Twilight said getting ready to teleport them out, but then quick as lightning a scorpion tail from an unseen Manticore struck Twilight in the arm.

The poison began to work, Twilight fainted nearly immediately, “Twilight!?” Pinkie and Spike exclaimed, catching their friend, the manticore had stung Twilight slunked out of the bush’s . It was easily the biggest manticore with horns and spikes in its mane, and where it’s wing should have been were two scorpion pincer arms black and sharp.

“Uh oh” Pinkie pie said with Spike looking absolutely terrified, as the Manticore pounced upon them and sunk its teeth into them. Or would have had it not been for Ivo who used the force and knocked the manticore to the side making it roll and growl in anger as it recovered and glared at him.

“What the heck is that?!” Spike exclaimed as he and Pinkie saw Ivo, they were startled by his appearance, “I don’t know but he saved us yeah” Pinkie said enthusiastically, “a little premature for a celebration” Spike said.

The manticore charged at Ivo with it’s lion claws and pincers raised, Ivo rolled out of reach on the nick of time and drew his blaster firing three shots at the beast, it’s hide must have been thick because the blasts angered it but didn’t kill it. The other pack members didn’t try attacking. Ivo had to guess that this was the challenge of an alpha, “so Alpha you really want to get a hard meal?” Ivo asked.

The Manticore growled as Ivo readied his lightsaber and blaster, the Manticore charged and pounced getting a slash ready with it’s pincers, Ivo however used the force to slow the creature as it slashed Allowing Ivo to role under the pincer and slash at the beast, but this creature must have had high endurance then previously thought. They wer many creatures in the galaxy that could still stand after a lightsaber slash and this appeared to be one of them.

The freeze effect wore off and the manticore backhanded Ivo and he crashed into a nearby tree, Ivo luckily recovered and ducked out of the way as the Manticores tail shot forward and stuck in the tree. Ivo rolled onto his feet and ran up to the beast and slashed at its face, it created one long scar and made the creature rear back.

The strange Manticore slashed with it’s pincers, Ivo parried one pincer but got slashed by the other, his armor protected him thankfully from anything fatal and the poison didn’t get injected into his bloodstream, even so he could heal himself with the force. “Hey meany” Pinkie pie said as she fired her cannon, wherever she got that from and a cake was shot into the Manticore’s face.

Ivo did not question how she managed to grab a cannon from mid-air but he used the distraction to jump over the beast and onto it’s back and stab it, the Manticore howled in pain, it’s pincers were unable to move enough to reach Ivo as he twisted the blade, Ivo could give the thing credit for its resilience. The thing bucked and howled in agony, however its tail curled upwards and then struck down on Ivo, Ivo sensed it in time to jump off the creature's back and it stung itself, enraged it roared and the other Manticores in fear ran away.

When their leader was enraged it tended to get ugly for enemy and allies alike, but Ivo landed next to it’s neck and stabbed his lightsaber through the neck, the creature howled in pain and it petered out to a whin as it became limp, Ivo removed the lightsaber and allowed the thing to slunk to the ground dead, the lights in it’s eyes petering out.
