The Return of Discord

“Come on, everypony! We have to get to the Grand Galloping Gala in time!” Twilight Sparkle said to her friends.

“It’s going to be awesome!” Pinkie Pie chimed in.  The six friends were running to the train station as fast as they could to get to Canterlot in time. The Gala was the next day and they wanted enough sleep to look fabulous. They were running in their usual position; Twilight in the lead with two others on either side while Rainbow Dash was hovering over them.

“Oh my, I simply cannot run in this dress! It will get dirty!” Rarity complained.

“Shush yer mouth and get movin’ Rarity! We’re gonna be late to the train station!” Applejack said. “Let’s see how dirty yer dress is gonna be when you run to Canterlot!”

“Please be quiet, you’re going to scare away the animals.” Fluttershy shyly said to Applejack.

They were almost to the train station when they saw the train chugging away. “Darn! We was gonna make it to the Gala if it wasn’t for yer whining Rarity!”

“Oh, so now it’s my fault? I say it’s Fluttershy’s fault. She was being quite a churlish laggard talking to those animals! I wouldn’t go near those disgusting wild beasts! I am a lady.”

“How about everypony just settles down? We need to figure out how to get to the Gala in time!” Twilight suggested. She quickly ran through her mental list of spells that could help them. Suddenly, she realized that she had the teleport spell memorized! She couldn’t get it completely right the other times, but she calms herself and tells herself she’s got this. Twilight concentrates all of her focus on her and her five friends and then to Canterlot. “Mmmph….” She tries her hardest…  “YES! I DID IT! Welcome to Canterlot, everypony!
