“Wait, what was that?” Rainbow Dash was staring back at her wide-eyed, her cheeks a heavy shade of red. “Wh… What would be easy to do?”

“J-Just forget it!” AJ kept her face hidden while waving her hoof in dismissal. “They… T-They’d probably notice if one was missin’ anyway…”

As soon as that impulsive statement came out of Applejack’s muzzle, all seven of the heroes remained silent in serious thought. Even Twilight had to clench her muzzle, her knees buckling from that forbidden idea that crept into her mind. But as the Princess tried her best to remain silent, it didn’t take long for one of the others to speak up. Pinkie Pie’s eyes darted back and forth, and her lips trembled into a sheepish smile. “Uhhh… heh heh heh… I mean… who’s to say that Chrysalis would notice one egg going missing from her hive, right? Like… she probably makes so many of them every day...”

“E-Exactly!” blurted Fluttershy with a frantic nod. “If anything, maybe… maybe Chrysalis wouldn’t mind if we took a few of them. F-For research, I mean!”

“OOH! Good idea!” Rainbow Dash was quick to chime in. “Twilight, you’re into all that science junk, right? What would you say about a couple of us taking some of those eggs? Like… I’m sure we could sneak them out somehow…”

Applejack was trying to discreetly scoot in close beside Dash, and even pushed Spike out of the way so he couldn’t hear her whispering in the pegasus’ ear. “Hey, so ummm… how would ya wanna do that?~”

Rainbow let out a sly little giggle before whispering into AJ’s ear, “How would you wanna do it, hmmm?~”

“Uhhh!! I just remembered something important!” Spike kept his claw raised high to catch Twilight’s attention. “I, uhhhh… I can feel my dragon instincts kicking in! Like, just now!! And uhhhh… I need one of those eggs to, ummm… t-to keep myself from growing super big again! PLEASE!!”

The dragon’s eyes darted back and forth, and his bottom lip was bitten after giving such an unconvincing excuse. Twilight was trying her best not to listen to her friends’ increasingly desperate attempts, but it was becoming more difficult by the second to ignore her own thoughts on the matter. Despite having just watched her own brother being confined to such a sorrowful state, her marehood was winking repeatedly with a tingling sensation she knew she couldn’t sate herself. If anything, she was really feeling like Chrysalis was speaking directly to her when she brought up that deep… lingering feeling of emptiness that could only be sated by one of her massive eggs pressing up against her--

“NNNGHHHH!!!~” Twilight threw the pencil across the room with her aura, nearly hitting Fluttershy as it embedded itself in the wall beside her. When she turned back to face her friends, all six of them were frozen in worry from how abruptly she caught their attention. Twilight was looking legitimately concerned, and she lifted a hoof shakily to address the group as a whole. “L-Listen, we… w-we really need to stop talking about the eggs, alright? We… W-We’re becoming too distracted by it!”

“Yeah, but…” Rarity paused for a second with her face becoming more red than white. She tried to glance away from Twilight sheepishly before muttering under her breath, “If… If we’re going to be right there already…”

“I-I mean, if you wanna go to the Throne Room first,” noted Pinkie Pie, who was fidgeting her hooves and averting her nervous gaze from Twilight, “I’m sure that some of us could split up and investigate the egg room ourselves.”

“I VOLUNTEER!” shouted Spike, even though he was desperately trying to hide his erection with one of his claws. “J-Just so my Dragon Greed won’t act up!”

“Ooh! I helped him with that last time!” chimed Rarity enthusiastically. “I’ll go with him!~”

Twilight face-hoofed with a groan, which made her realize how badly she was starting to sweat. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were nestling in closer to one another, giggling devilishly and whispering things into each other’s ears. None of the others could overhear much, but their elated shivers and blushing cheeks made it obvious what the main topic of discussion was. Twilight was finding it harder to keep her focus in check, but she breathed out pertly while addressing the group.

“E-Everyone, PLEASE! I… I know that it sounds really tempting--I mean important! It… I-It sounds important to investigate all of those eggs. And to… t-to, uhhh… to see how they might… w-work…” After a few seconds, Twilight closed her eyes and groaned in frustration. “Ugh… W-What was I talking about again?”

Rainbow and AJ pulled away with equally flushed expressions, and stared back at Twilight wide-eyed. The two darted their eyes between the Princess and themselves for a moment, as if they were thinking the same thing. Applejack, who was supposed to be the Element of Honesty, blurted without a shred of regret in her firm voice. “We were… talkin’ about how many eggs we can bring back.”

“Mmmhmm!” Rainbow nodded her head vigorously. “That’s right! A-And, uhhh… we might have a way to sneak them out without detection~” The two snickered at each other with a couple of knowing nudges.

“G-Girls, I…” Twilight was growing more light-headed as she struggled to stand upright. “... I don’t think that was the plan…”

“How many do you think we can hold?” Spike, as well as the other three mares behind him, were all staring at Rainbow and Applejack. Dash scoffed with a bashful smirk, and shrugged before answering nervously.

“Oh, I dunno, uhhh… I’m sure that we could each take at least one without Chrysalis finding out~”

“Hmph~” Applejack rolled her eyes with a scoff of her own. “Ah could take more than just one…”

“W-Well, uhhh…” Rainbow tensed up from her friend’s confident-sounding claim. “I-I’m sure I could as well! Like… maybe three eggs!”

“Ah bet Ah could take five.” Just saying that number made the farm-pony shiver with a bitten lip. “Nnnnghhhh… Oh yeah~”

Rainbow Dash narrowed her eyes on AJ with a sharp glare. “Oh yeah?! I bet I can take EIGHT of those eggs!”

None of the others, Twilight included, tried to stop the two as their previous shared-interest turned to a jealous rivalry. Applejack glared back at her as she readjusted her Stetson. “Oh, is that so?! Well, AH bet Ah could take TEN of ‘em!”

Rainbow got up closer to her face. “Fine! I’ll get TWELVE!”

“Ah’ll get FIFTEEN eggs!”

“TWENTY!!”

“THIRTY!!”

“FIFTY!!!”

“AH’LL TAKE A HUNDRED BEFORE YOU CAN OUTDO ME!!!”

“I’LL GET EVERY SINGLE EGG BEFORE YOU EVEN STEP INTO THE ROOM!!!”

“GIRLS, STOP!!!”

Twilight lit up her horn to grab both of the mares, and encased them tightly in her aura. After pushing them away from each other’s faces, she shuddered hotly and tried to extinguish the situation. “We don’t need to take ANY of the eggs!! W-We don’t even have enough bags to hold more than a few if we decided to!”

The two glanced back at her and asked, “Bags?” at the same time. Luckily, they both instantly realized their mistake and tried to correct themselves.

“O-Oh, yeah! Ha ha ha ha!” Rainbow Dash’s laugh was faker than her forced smile. “Y-Yeah, we… we would need bags to hold any eggs, wou… w-wouldn’t we…”

“Mmhmm, yeah!” Applejack nodded hard enough to nearly fling off her hat. “Ah mean, it ain’t like we could… u-use somethin’ else to hold all them eggs nice and snug…”

Twilight’s magic fizzled away from her horn when she clenched her eyes, desperate to get the first thought in her head away as quickly as possible. While Rainbow and AJ were freed from her aura, the others were all looking at one another and fake-laughing as well.

“Y-Yeah, that would just be crazy!” Spike scratched the back of his neck to stop himself from shivering like a junkie. “We couldn’t just… stuff ourselves with eggs like Shining was doing! Heh heh, that… t-that would be…”

“I-I’m sure it would be difficult,” muttered Fluttershy while rubbing her foreleg. “E-Especially if we found a really... really big one that needed a warm place~”

Rarity had to bite her lip briefly before interjecting. “Nnnfff… I bet they would be really secure inside of a womb…”

“Oh sliding down my throat,” moaned Pinkie, all while fanning her increasingly sweaty face. “Oooohhhhh… I bet I’d look pregnant if it went down to my stomach like that~”

“Yeah, I bet my brother did that already,” confessed Twilight, unable to even look at all of them while smirking to herself. “He probably stuffed himself to the brim like a good little slut~ HUUUUHHHH!!!”

Her shocked gasp was just barely loud enough to pull the others out of their lustful stupors. Twilight was wide-eyed with a legitimately terrified look on her face. “W-Wait, WAIT!! This… This isn’t right!!”

“Oh, fuck,” muttered Cadance up in the vents, her expression immediately flattening. “I think you need more of those pheromones for her, Sunburst.”

“T-That was all I had on me!” He was gawking down at Twilight with a shocked expression of his own. “I-I don’t understand, that was just as potent as one of the bombs we used back in the Crystal Empire!”

“Ugh, I can’t believe we underestimated her…” Cadance almost wanted to be proud of her sister-in-law for keeping her resolve so efficiently; but at the same time, the Princess’ stubbornness was making her grit her teeth in aggravation. She and Sunburst shared a look up in the vents, while Twilight struggled to get her friends’ attention down below.

“Can’t you all see how you’re acting right now?! We… W-We’ve just spent the past few minutes talking about Chrysalis’ EGGS! S-Something is seriously wrong here!”

Spike muttered with his arms crossed over his chest, “Yeah, we don’t have any yet.”

“W-Wait, she… she has a point…” Rarity breathed out deeply as she pinched the bridge of her snout. “Nnnghhh… Why… Why can’t I stop thinking about them?!”

“Oh, who cares?!” Rainbow Dash was getting more fidgety as she squirmed her ass against the cold floor. “Mmmffffff… I just wanna get to that castle already~”

“Me too…” Fluttershy was looking just as antsy as she constantly shifted her weight between her writhing legs. “May… M-Maybe one of us could be a distraction for Chrysalis! Um… I’m sure she could focus on filling me while you all save Shining~”

Pinkie gawked at her with great offense. “Nuh-UH! I wanna be a distraction for Chrysalis’ ovipositor!”

“Oh, she’d probably stuff us to the brim if we got caught…” Spike’s eyes rolled back for a moment as he shuddered with a dopey grin. Just as a thick glob of drool was about to seep out, he jerked his head back to reality. “I’LL DO IT!!!”

“No, WE’LL do it!” Rainbow Dash pulled in Applejack close by her side, and stared up at Twilight firmly. “Chrysalis can take the two of US instead! We’re strong! We can take it!”

Applejack didn’t look offended at all by her friend’s insistence; instead, she blushed with a bashful and gracious smile. “Dawww, thanks, Dash! Ah was hopin’ you’d ask me to join in~”

“GIRLS, NO!!!” Twilight was becoming more frantic, and her rapid breaths were almost sounding like sobs. “We can’t… W-We can’t just surrender to Chrysalis!”

“Well, I don’t see why you all can’t~”

The sound of Cadance’s amplified voice through the vent got all of their attention, and they gasped while looking up. The metal grate was kicked out of the shaft’s frame, allowing for Cadance and Sunburst to finally make their appearance...
