Don't complain about this chapter that it's in the past but Twyla was reading what her 6 time great grand father wrote down but its in a was from the pilots not from Twyla's point of view. Also,
I haven't seen anyone do war chapters so I decided to do a crack at them and think that both sides would have stuff that they would be new. So I had technology like planes where if the Grand Pegasus Enclave have Vertibucks and Cloudships then that would require flight so I came up with planes that were new and didn't get a chance to be mass-produced but they flew along with the Pegasi where after all the Undiscovered West will have more militarized stuff that won't be In other places of the Equestrian Wasteland.

Chapter 37: Lunar Island

Sitting around a campfire Twyla had a journal which she started to read it. Rocky Road asked what she was reading for her to say to Rocky Road,

"A journal that was handed down to me when I was a kid. It's a story of how this pony from way back then says about the "The Battle for Lunar Island" and how they kept the Zebras off of it." said Twyla, "And the pony says how he's lucky that the E.A.F have a new thing called a "plane" that runs on Kerosene, the same kerosene in lamps. But he thinks the Zebras are catching up as well."

Two hundred and five years ago
On Lunar Island is four friends a five-mile island. On the island is Airpony Silver Drawer a pegasus who's the pilot of a new Equestrian "Rainbow" Fighter which is new off the factory floor, Airpony ASW AO the pilot of a new Equestrian light bomber B-55 "Lunar" twin-engine bomber, Petty Officer Arty Ease the pilot of a new Equestrian TB (Torpedo Bomber) 32 "Luna" and there is Airpony Humming Peace.

They were happy that their crush, an entertainer mare named Silver Strive. She volunteered herself to the Equestrian United System Operations to go on tour to Equestrian Bases and to raise morale for the Equestrian soldiers.

The four friends got front row seats to see the movie star they love but they know that she's a radio star. But they don't know that she's a big whore where she had sex with hundreds of stallions in Bel Celestia and more in Applewood not adding she had sex with stallions in front of their own wives and own families.

Ms. Silver Strive the nice lovey silver and cream-coated unicorn mare started to sing and shake her hips on stage. Airpony ASW AO had to hide his boner with his leather air cap.

The show was cut short when an air raid siren went off. A pony over the PA system just said "Man your battle stations. Man, your battle stations' enemy forces are inbound!"

The island garrison manned the seventeen flak cannons, ten anti-air .30 caliber and .50 caliber water-cooled machine guns, twelve field guns, and the numerous machine-gun bunkers.

Silver Drawer manned his plane and took off with the other 23 Equestrian fighters who went to engage the Zebra fighters and dive bombers which the Equestrians haven't seen before.

"The Zebras." said Airpony Silver Drawer, "They finally caught up with flight. We don't have the element of advancement with aerial combat anymore. Well, our aerial luck was meant to run out somewhere."

The dogfighting was easy where the Equestrian Airforce doctrine is "Strategic Destruction" which favors air superiority but also strategically bomb the enemy homeland. The Zebras is well they don't care about their pilots but want to gain Air Superiority. They try to do infiltration bombing of tailing back Equestrian Pegasi and planes and bomb their facilities. The result very from location to location.

"They must have ships somewhere nearby," said Airpony Drawer, "Alright Fighter Squadron 1. Let's go find those ships."

"The great thing about planes." said a Pegasi Pilot, "They don't get shot down easy as us pegasi. One shrapnel round can cut off our wing. Planes won't lose their wing due to a shrapnel round. "

They flew around for a while until Airpony Silver Draw radioed in a fleet location. He used binoculars and he saw four eight hundred and eighty-eight foot long ships, and countless smaller ones around them.

Back on Lunar Island.

Airpony ASW AO, Petty Officer Arty Ease, and Airpony Humming Peace manned their planes and headed to the coordinates.

"Hey, Humming Peace. ASW AO, Silver Drawer." said Petty Officer Arty Ease, "Whoever goes back first after sinking the enemy fleet. We have to fight who gets Ms. Silver Strive."

"Yeah yeah yeah." said Airpony ASW AO, "I'd say I'm going to win. I wouldn't mind having a piece of flank like that. Don't worry I'll name our foals after you three."

"You mean that I'll marry her?" said Airpony Humming Peace, "Our foals will be named after you three. They'll be the next generation, Equestrian pilots, in the air force!"

"You three have fun with that." said Airpony Silver Drawer, "I ate her out last night and earlier."

"Come on Silver Drawer." said all three of them.

"We got to keep this PG or PG-13 not R rated," said Airpony ASW AO, "We'll catch Tartarus from the Garrison commander just for what Silver Drawer just said."

The four just argued who would get Ms. Silver Strive until there were clanking and thudding sounds. They were getting shot at so Petty Officer Arty Ease and all of the Torpedo Squadrons followed him and he said, "Ok colts and fillies slow and low. Don't drop your torpedos from heights or they'll explode from hitting the water from any heights from twenty-three feet."

Arty Ease closed the cockpit and placed on an air mask. He used his magic and switched from the machine gun to the torpedo. He got scared as flak rounds and bullets thudded against the planes where he looked around and watched as all of twenty-four torpedo bombers got shot down.

Arty Ease's plane caught fire but the cockpit glass was jammed so he used what control he had was to he dropped the torpedo. Soon there were two major explosions where his torpedo hit the magazine of the Zebra ship. The plane he was in crashed into the hanger.

There was a giant pink explosion after two big red fiery explosions where half of the bombs on board were Pink cloud bombs that were going to be dropped on the Equestrian soldiers in the machine gun bunkers and other Equestrian soldiers.

The other two got shot down and Airpony ASW AO told his crew that if they have to and that is they'll have to crash into the Zebra ships to protect Lunar Island and all of Equestria from the Zebras.

Airpony ASW AO just took one deep breath and crashed into the Zebra second carrier.

He and his crew knew it was a once way flight but they all knew what they signed up for.

Airpony Silver Drawing had to return home because the Fighter Squadrons were running low on fuel which Silver Drawing said, "This is a disadvantage of planes. We only have a limited range until we have to go back over the Pegasi who can rest in the clouds for a bit and go right back to it without turning back and going home."

Back on Lunar Island Airpony Silver Drawing got out of his plane. But he asked an officer on were Airpony ASW AO, Petty Officer Arty Ease, and Airpony Humming Peace. He was told that they were shot down and he went to go sit down somewhere and started to cry where the three were friends with him since kindergarten.

Airpony Silver Drawing started to cry in private until Ms. Silver Strive startled him and asked if he was ok only for him to tell her that his friends are dead even though what he told them he it was wrong.

Silver Strive asked what he told them.

"I told them that last night and earlier I told them that I ate you out." said Silver Drawing, "I couldn't tell them that well we had dinner last night and breakfast this morning together."

Silver Strive gave him a smooch on Airpony Silver Drawer's cheek and told him that she'll be there for him.

Three months later.

In Los Unicornia Silver Strive and Silver Drawer got married but Silver Drawer joined his wife as an entertainer where the most popular song that he did was "I wish I was back in the air force."

The two had three sons named after Silver Drawer's three deceased friends and they had two daughters.

The great news is that due to Silver Drawer's service in the military he was given a spot in Stable 192 but Silver Strive bought a spot in Stable 195 wanting to be with her husband in Stable 192 but they don't have any room for the two and their foals. Doesn't help that their kids have to go to another Stable because they don't have a room in either or stable for their kids.

Silver Strive and Silver Drawer actually gave a lot of money and had a Stable built in Hoofywood. Silver Drawer had a feeling that the Zebras would do something to win the war or something like that.

Silver Drawer doesn't know how right he is where Stable 222 got done building and the day after the Last day occurred and they entered Stable 222 with other entertainers.

Two hundred and five years later

Twyla was singing even though Purple and Midnight Twister is sleeping. But Midnight Twister was sucking on his hoof.

Rocky Road just went to bed and the others were looking up at the stars.

Twyla doesn't know that her six-time great-grandparents were entertainers and her six-time great grandfather was a war hero.
