Fallout Equestria: Wasteland Guardian

In the forest.

The sun was rising and the sun hit Purple's eyes at an angle so he got up and noticed all of them have their backs turned to him. Purple then just grabbed his rifle and went on his merry way.

In the distance from them, they heard the echo of a gunshot and they all jumped up and stupidly galloped to it. They only found Purple with his rifle.

"Damn Radhog!" Purple mumbled, "How you're going to come back. Charging headfirst is the cause of so many deaths of non-intelligent. But you're a mutated pig."

Purple took another shot with his rifle and with one bullet he killed the radhog with a well-placed headshot.

Purple then walked over to it and picked it up with his magic and took it back to their camp where out of sight of them he skinned the Radhog for the meat and made bacon.

Albatross was horrified of ponies eating meat and even called his son out on it only for Purple to say, "Remember what you use to tell me pop? When I wouldn't eat? You said and I quote, "If you don't eat then you'll starve and don't complain while your starving.". And out here what you don't kill will kill you and eat you,"

Albatross was redundant and didn't want to eat the bacon. So he didn't.

After the others ate they followed Purple who followed the map on his Pipbick 3000.

They soon entered a building and entered a breakroom. They saw some wall graffiti and it said "FOLLOW THE RAILROAD TRACKS TO ECHO," another said, "THIRD ENGINEER REGIMENT IS DUG UP NORTH,", another said, "FOLLOW THE TRAIN TRACKS!", another said, "WATCH OUT FOR THE FERALS THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! BE SAFE IF YOU GOTTA WALK OR FLY!"

"Damn flying ferals!" said Starry, "They're more of a pain!"

"Flying Ferals?" asked Albatross, "What are flying ferals?"

Rainy Night replied, "Yeah. You think regular earth pony or unicorn ferals are bad. Then Pegasus Ferals. They can still fly. I've seen a majority of them fly before I killed them."

Albatross replied, "Who are you?"

Rainy Night replied, "Specialist Rainy Night. Grand Pegasus Enclave Third Army, Twenty-Fifth Airborne Division, Sixteenth Regiment, Third Battalion, Second company, First platoon, Fifth Squad. My job is to keep communications up and running and to keep the squad's gear and equipment up in tip-top shape."

Albatross was confused, "Airborne? I thought all the old planes didn't work?"

Rainy Night replied, "No we get deployed by Vertibuck from ten thousand feet, we jump out and get deployed behind enemy lines or enemy-infested places for a short amount of time and get relieved within twenty-four to a week after being deployed. Actually, we got four Airborne Divisions there's the Seventeenth, the Twenty-Fifth, Two Hundred and Twenty, and Two Hundred and Twenty-Two. There are only 2800 Pegasi in the airborne divisions or 112000 combined. but we're more of a regiment though. I'll tell you more about the Grand Pegasus Enclave later."

Purple left them for a few minutes but he told Starry, Paladin Sapphire, and Rocky, "If I'm not back within fifteen then come find me. If I turn into one of them then kill me."

They heard some gunfire in the distance but only Albatross and Rainy Night were worried and against what Paladin Sapphire, Rocky, and Starry told them they both still went out to find Purple.

They walked in the darkness and soon they saw Purple sitting on a ledge shooting down at the ferals down below but some came up to charge him down and Purple didn't hesitate to shoot the ferals in the head.

Some of them said, "Luna bless you,", "Thank you,", "I'm coming home (random mare or stallion pony name) thank you,", "Finally being reunited with my family,", and, "Thank you, your a kind pony,"

Purple felt happy about putting down the ferals knowing they can leave this realm and go into the afterlife and be reunited with their families. Knowing they're going to remeet their mothers, fathers, siblings, spouses, and offspring. But he isn't a psychopath he just feels happy about putting them out of misery. He doesn't know how long they have been roaming the same warehouse for where it could be days or months or decades if not the past two or so centuries.

"I'm a good crossbred alicorn for putting suffering ponies down?" Purple asked, "I feel good about doing so but at the same time I don't."

Purple then reloaded his automatic battle rifle where he placed the hot casings back into the magazine and the magazine into the ammo pouch he has. But for some reason, he holds the rifle at a 45-degree angle while reloading and he uses his wing to slide the bolt back so it can go forward.

He got startled when he heard a gunshot only to look back to see it was his father who fired his .30-30 Country rifle.

Purple was going to say something but didn't due to he may be an adult well a young adult but he isn't going to backtalk his father or say anything rude to his father. Without getting hit or anything worst.

"Thanks Dad," said Purple

Albatross replied, "Your welcome son,"

Rocky, Paladin Sapphire, Rainy Night, and Starry soon joined them and put the feral ghouls out of their misery and went down to the main floor and went through a door and another door said, "IF THIS DOOR OPENS THE ALARM WILL SOUND!"

If it's almost pitch black dark in here and it's sunrise, Purple thought, I highly doubt it the alarm will sound.

Purple opened the door and as the door sign said the alarm did sound.

"Thanks, I wanted to beaten to death and chewed on by Ferals," said Rocky, "I wasn't planning on dying today!"

Instead of fighting they all ran and followed Purple who didn't run as fast as he could or they would've lost him easily and they soon followed the railroad north into and into a big gap in the concrete wall and made it to a maintenance room.

They soon heard the ferals banging on the steel door but they catch their breaths for a short time and soon left the room and hoped the ferals don't catch up. But soon they left the tunnel and re-entered the forest.

"I bet back before all this," said Purple, "This place was lovely I think it was. I've seen pictures of this place back in the Stable in old picture books and they were called "Pictures before the Balefire Bombs". And it had stunning photos of way back then. If the Balefire bombs didn't go off and the war ended peacefully I would've brought my family here. My wives and foals." Purple shivered, "Didn't want to but I was glad I was able to help them."

They just kept following Purple and soon they got attacked by giant mosquitos which Purple's and Albatross's Pipbuck S.A.T.S called them "Bloodbugs"

"FUCK OFF DAMN IT!" yelled Paladin Sapphire, "Fuck off you damn Bloodbugs!"

They were easily killed but the bloodbugs are a pain in the ass and usually travel in a pack from two to eight if not more and are usually found in heavily wooded areas or areas with houses or places ponies & other creatures might go or be.

Soon they went up a hill, into a concrete structure, down some metalic stairs, and soon found more railroad tracks going north east and Purple decided to take a short cut. He used a freight train car and knocked down a wooden bridge and they went that way.

They climbed it and soon after they found a warehouse and they looted it for supplies.

There wasn't a lot just old military equipment that's no longer needed such as CSARC (Careful Screening Aerial Radar Combat) Radar that was mounted on Equestrian ships, JSSUW (Joint Strike Submarine Underwater) Radar that was mounted on Equestrian Submarines. There were torpedos that were used on Equestrian Submarines and Destroyers even though they no longer serve a purpose and old bombs that once were dropped by pegasi and later planes. Also, there were old naval munitions that won't fit inside of the artillery guns the Wasteland Guardians or Base's Grand Pony Enclave have.

"Us Equestrians loved coal," said Albatross, "But when the coal mines ran out or started to dry up. We turned to the Zebras. But when the war broke out we created alternate fuel sources for our military. Kerosene was more popular due to how cheap it was to use and produce. Charcoal was used as a temp alt to coal for our navy back then until we found a source of it and I mean coal."

They soon kept going north following the tracks, went through a train caboose and kept walking on the railroad until they came to a collapsed train tunnel where they climbed on top of another train and walked through an elevated cut in the hills.

They walked on it for a while until they saw corn stalks for a long way.

"There's Outpost Echo," said Rainy Night, "Let's stop by and say hi,"

They all jumped down and walked through the cornfield and approached the two-story farmhouse and entered it.

It was abandoned but they saw GPE insignias and decals on the walls and saw a giant map of the area and various warnings of where ferals, Hellhounds, Grand Pony Enclave, Raiders, Slavers, and other dangers even the Wasteland Guardians are labeled as hostiles on the map.

"Some councilpony or all of those councilponies are going to have a big trouble coming after us," Said Purple, "We're not pushovers. We're not raiders, not slavers. We don't rape, we don't commit murder, we don't loot or plunder. We defend the ponies and creatures of the Undiscovered West. If they don't like that then they can kiss my flank!"

In the room they were in had some ammo, ballistic and energy weapons, on a table is ham radio, notes, binders from the old Equestrian military, and other pre-war Equestrian military equipment and Grand Pegasus Enclave equipment.

Rainy Night stayed in the dining room where the map and all the gear was, Paladin Sapphire and Purple went up to the second floor and Albatross thought they were going to "spend quality time".

Rocky and Starry decided to search the outside of the perimeter to make sure Ferals or any other evil creatures didn't make it within the farm perimeter.

On the second floor, Paladin Sapphire went and sat on a king-sized bed and thought it was comfy for her.

A feral came out of nowhere from the other side wearing a Grand Pegasus Enclave officer's uniform. Purple busted in and knocked the Grand Pegasus Enclave officer off of her, and through the window, and Purple used his magic and used the knife he has and stabbed the feral multiple times where the heart is.

Purple then got off of him and went back in the house.

In the dining room

"Rainy!" said Purple, "See if you can get anypony on that radio. My gut says we're going to be attacked soon."

Rainy nodded her head and got on the radio.

"Hello?" said Rainy Night, "Anypony on this frequency?"

A pony responded, "Holy Luna fucking shit! Captain! Somepony is on this frequency! Hello, who is this? Identify yourself!"

Rainy Night replied calmly, "This is Specialist Rainy Hailing Night, from the
Third Army, Twenty-Fifth Airborne Division, Sixteenth Regiment, Third Battalion, Second company, First platoon, Fifth Squad. I'm stuck at a place called "Outpost Echo" and there's Ferals closing in on this place."

The pony replied, "Roger that. We'll send an Evac flight to your location and a Vert-Assault team to protect you. Radio back when you're ready!"

Rainy replied, "I'm ready. Also, I have some Wastelanders with me."

The pony replied, "Roger that. They'll be there E.T.A. twenty to thirty minutes!"

Rocky and Starry soon ran in and slammed the door shut.

"Ferals got a ton of them!" said Starry, "Coming through the cornfields!"

They took no time and barricaded up the doors and windows leaving a few windows barricaded and soon they saw what felt like an endless wave of Ferals. Some of them were in Grand Pegasus Enclave power armor too.

"I'll be back!" said Purple before teleporting away.

Rocky replied, "Well Purple ditched us. Guess he doesn't want to stay and die and left us to stay and die."

Albatross replied, "My son is not a yellow belly! Your lucky your a mare or I would've slapped you on the back of your head!"

Rocky replied, "Don't get mad. It's the truth he ran off."

Purple was only gone for a few minutes. He used his magic and brought some of the old bombs from the warehouse they passed and he used his magic to throw the at the ferals.

It killed some of them but it felt like with one dead three more will take it's place and Purple kept going back to the warehouse to get more and more each time he would throw them. It seemed endless though. But Purple soon started to use the torpedos which also felt pointless to use.

Purple then went inside of the house where they were and soon they heard banging on the bedroom door. The ferals started to break through and it was the job of Purple and Starry. The moderate purple alicorn and green Earth pony used the two shotguns they had and fired them.

The problem was that

But they all missed Critical Shot. He still wore the pre-war riot armor used by the old Equestria riot police and a balacalva mask. But they miss his aim and all that.

The latex glove blue mare, sapphire & cobalt blue mix ,rocky road colored mare, and crimson red unicorn stallion focused on fighting the Ferals outside. But bullets left the weapons less than it took Ferals to replace one that was killed. It felt like that when Crimson, Rocky, Paladin Sapphire (the sapphire & cobalt blue one), or Rainy Night (the latex blue one) killed four it felt like twenty took the four's place.

Damn, we're outside of artillery range, Purple thought, We're at least thirty something miles from the nearest M101A2 105mm Artillery guns and they only fire about two almost three miles. Wonder how far away the Grand Pegasus Enclave is away from us we can use the evac asap. Me, Rocky, Paladin Sapphire, and my father can teleport away. But teleportation takes a lot of energy.

When a minute passed it felt like an hour or longer passed and when a few minutes passed it felt like a few hours passed.

The bullets kept on coming and going until Purple and Starry ran out of ammo for their shotguns and it was down to Purple to use the weapons he has and he gave his .45 Auto Pistol and she fired it with her mouth due to it's small enough. Purple switched to his rifle and fired that.

Twenty-four minutes passed and the sound of a vertibuck came and soon they heard the sound of Novasurge rifles, and magical energy miniguns. The ferals got cut down in no time. But more and more kept coming.

A small window came for them and they had a total of ninety seconds to reach the vertibuck or they'll be left behind. But they galloped and made it and got on the V-3 Vertibuck.

All of them were knocked out and after several hours passed.

Grand Pegasus Enclave Base Daylight

All but Rainy Night were tied to chairs out in the hot sun so the sun can "bake brains and boil blood"

Soon Lieutenant-General Cantel Waterfall Walkover walked over to them with a knife in his wing.

"Alright Rainy," said Lt-Gen Cantel, "Which ones should I send to my special camps to work forever and which ones should I gut like a fish just more painfully."

Rainy replied instantly, "All of them. Send them to one of the labor camps."

Lt-Gen Cantel replied instantly, "Nope. There's five of them. Three of them need to die or be sent to one of my labor camps or vice versa."

Rainy couldn't decide until she walked over to Lt-Gen Cantel and knocked him out in one punch. She then took his knife and cut them free.

Rainy said, "Your gear is in security. There's two security buildings. One in a wooden barracks and one in a reinforced concrete bunker. Your gear is in both."

The base is one large base with three Vertibuck pads, a dock with an old Equestrian motorized boat that doesn't work anymore, an airstrip, a single hanger, and fifteen wooden buildings used as barracks 5x, mess hall, kitchen, storage, workshop, security, infirmary, armory, mailroom, shop, & visitation. The latter is well family members can visit them, shop so they can buy stuff, mailroom so they can get mail, the armory is where they keep their Novasurge and other weapons, infirmary so the injured can go to, Security so they can have guards, workshop so they can build things for leisure or something, and the rest are self-explanatory.

Even though it was day time they stuck to the shadows and they soon came to the wooden security room. Paladin Sapphire took the knife, walked in, and she stabbed, sliced, and shivered every Grand Pegasus Enclave member in the room which there was only seven.

There was only Crimson red (Albatross), and Rocky Road's rifles in it and the two reunited with their rifles.

"Cloudship," Purple whispered, "I'm going to take it."

Purple then stealthfully walked away towards the cloudship he saw in a drydock.

The other's did their best to go to the other security room which they did. They charged right in where Crimson and Rocky killed the guards and they didn't hesitate.

Rainy Night then sat at a chair while she tuned the ham radio to a special frequency.

Albatross stayed by her side to protect her just in case any Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers do come and inspect the gunshots.

In the basement, it was terrible of seeing skeletons in the old jail cells. But on the walls in some rooms, they saw old pre-war Equestrian propaganda against the Zebra's.

They wondered what the skeletons were not knowing that this was a place where sometimes Zebra Prisoners of War came to and tortured even raped and they died of starvation or thirst or both.

Some of them were occupied with captured Raiders, Slavers, Grand Pony Enclave, Wasteland Protectors, and Wasteland Guardians. Not adding average wastelanders who just survive day in and day out.

They freed them all even though the Raiders and Slavers went back to their old ways and were killed right away.

There weren't a lot of Grand Pegasus Enclave ponies down there and they were killed easily with broken necks. Not adding they were only armed with shock batons to keep them in line. Doesn't help some use the shock batons as sexual kinks with their partners.

They found Purple's, Paladin Sapphire's, and Starry's stuff. Unknown to them the cloudship that's Purple's on is already gone because it had to be repaired for some reason and is carry the most elite and dangerous Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers. A whole battalion of eight hundred and all of them are ruthless, can't be reasoned with, can't be bribed, and trained to ignore pain.

They're going to what was the Crystal Empire where a lot of the most dangerous and hideous mutated creatures live not adding some of them burrow underground with either nature or pony-made underground infrastructure.

Purple just had his hooves, magic, and wings.

On the cloudship.

New type of cloudship I have never seen before, Purple thought, Never mind that. Need to take this ship down before tons of Ponies and creatures get killed.

Purple stealthfully walked up behind one and Purple strangled one to death and the pegasus said, "what about my kids?"

Purple replied, "Should've called in sick then."

There was a closet on the cloudship and Purple hid the body there.

I can't take his uniform, Purple thought, They'll see through me and I don't know his personality.

Purple did his best to stay hidden from the shadows on the cloudship.

The PA system came on and a pony said, "All hands prepare for deployment within 24 to 48 hours. Get the Vertibucks and mobile base deployers ready and prepared when we arrive."

Mobile base deployers? Purple thought, Oh that's right. During the war, the Equestrians built mobile base deployers to set up bases far away from others to gain a foothold. And to deploy forces so they can have some kind of military base on foreign soil.

Purple somehow found his way to the armory and found a new type of missile launcher. Purple thought it was funny that a note was left out in the open and Purple picked it up and it says. "Here's the M3 Assault Weapon. It's a double shot assault rocket launcher that's 4.5 feet long, 0.9 feet long, and 1.4 feet tall. It carries two rockets. It's designed to be a lighter version of the Missile launcher and Rocket Launcher. It's also designed to be held and fired by the wings not requiring a battle saddle."

Purple took it and several rockets for himself and he found a saddlebag and placed the ammo in that.

Assault rifle at least now I have a weapon that doesn't involve explosions, Purple thought, But what can I do. Let's get this over with.

Purple picked up a modified Novasurge rifle that fire's automatically and a 5.56mm assault carbine.

Purple became stupid and launched a one pony assault against the defenders but he locked himself in the armory with a one way in and out with the other locked and barricaded.

Purple had the advantage of magic and blindly fired the assault rifle and automatic Novasurge rifle which he fired in bursts to conserve ammo. They were keeping Purple suppressed with the intense Novasurge, Energy, and Ballistic weapons but Purple isn't stupid enough to step out.

Purple switched to the rocket launcher and fired both shots and he heard a lot of screams where he just killed a majority of the Grand Pegasus Enclave elite troops with a blast. Not adding one rocket was incendiary and another was high explosive where the two he just placed in are a high-velocity one and a hive one which the latter has nine smaller ones inside.

A pony said over the PA. "We got damage and fire in section five. Deploying damage control."

"Nice to see that after a long time since the Balefire bombs flew," Said Purple, "Nice to see that the Grand Pegasus Enclave has damage control to keep the cloudships up and running even when damaged. But this isn't made out of cloud material. But allows all types of ponies and creatures to walk on it. But it's long. It's half a mile long. Well, everything starts somewhere."

Purple then carefully charged after them and ignored the noncombatants due to he has honor and won't attack somepony if doesn't attack him first or not fight or gives up in the fighting.

Purple kept firing the weapons he has but he kept himself well in cover but the elite Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers and officers didn't seek cover behind walls or anything thinking that their modified and reinforced pegasus power armor will keep them safe only for them to be blown away in a gorey death.

If these are the most elite, Purple thought, They're doing a half-assed job. If not terrible. Well I can always retreat back to the armory if need be. They got enough weapons and ammo to share.

The most elite Grand Pegasus Enclave didn't stand a chance. But Purple had a gut feeling so he quickly ran back to the armory, got a few gas masks with goggles which looks like one of those early gas masks with a rebreather attached on it.

There was a gas bomb and a detonator so he ran to the engine room and placed the bomb in the air filtration system and galloped towards the bridge.

Purple saw through glass that it's Lieutenant-General Cantel holding his father and Rainy Night hostage and told him he has ten seconds to decide either he gives up now or both Rainy and Albatross's brains meet the metallic floor.

Even though he did a count down it was muffled due to he has a C96 in his mouth. Purple just used his left-wing to use the detonator and detonated the gas bomb and soon Lt-Gen Cantel started to cough violently.

Purple dashed in and saved his father and Rainy and placed the gas masks on them and took them to the hanger as the elite Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers choked to death on the gas.

They made it to the hanger where Rainy abandoned ship and Albatross held tightly onto his son as Purple flew down to the ground. Unknown to them that is Rocky, Starry, and Paladin Sapphire took out the remaining base defenders as a majority of them were on board the cloudship that the trio was on.

The rest was killed either by bullets, energy or choked to death on gas.

"Alright dad I'm taking you home this is getting too dangerous!" said Purple

Albatross replied, "Your my son, and I'm taking you home. Back to the Stable where it's safe! You don't need to be out here you need to be in the Stable!"

Purple replied, "I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN! I can't lose you again dad. Just those eight years and I thought you were dead and believed it. Everypony did and still does. Even mom. You don't know what I had to do to keep mom happy she even thinks I'm not going to return to the Stable permanently and she wanted me to get her pregnant so the Stable could have another Overpony when she dies. I didn't want to but you know mom not adding later I caught her in a gang bang. But everything gone to heck while you were gone."

Albatross didn't know how much the Stable changed when he decided to fake his death and leave and now he wished he could've negotiated with the Grand Pegasus Enclave to bring his family or he could've done the work in the stable and not leave and have somepony take his place that looks like me. He screwed up.

Purple took Albatross back to Stable 190 and nopony believed it and thought he was a ghost until he proved that he was still very much alive and kicking Harp was excited to have her husband back but like the others, she at first thought he was dead.

Still at Grand Pegasus Enclave Base Daylight

Rainy Night was with Purple on the old metallic boat that has duel .50 Caliber machine guns up front and a 7.62mm GPMG on the back on some kind of stand.

"What are you doing?" asked Rainy

Purple replied, "Trying to fix this boat. Wanna see what's around the bend. I'm a little bit tired from all that teleporting. Mind giving me a hoof?"

Rainy Night sat down and helped Purple repair the boat.

Paladin Sapphire actually explored the base and Rocky just roamed around and noticed a lot of old military stuff that's been repurposed for the Grand Pegasus Enclave.

Hours passed and soon night came

Rainy Night and Purple slept together on the boat, Paladin Sapphire slept in the commanding officer's room, and Rocky Road slept in a barracks by herself and Starry slept in the medical building.

Rainy Night just stared up at the stars and it was a nice night and stared up at the moon with the mare in the moon that used to frighten her as a filly.

"If I was alive during the back then times," said Rainy, "I would be a DJ or something useful."

Purple replied, "I would say it but I'm not my brother so I'm not going to say it."

Rainy replied, "Just say it. What would your brother say?"

Purple replied nervously, "My brother. Well first off don't get pissed at me or hit me. But he would say "I'm a stallion and stallions have sperm. You are a mare and mares have ovaries. You can help by bearing foals. You can start with me. I'll gladly impregnate you.". I really hate him. He sees mares in different ways he sees mares as breeding stock, healers, midwives, and be in safe occupations where they won't get hurt. I see mares differently. I see them the same as stallions even though different. I don't show any signs of sexism, patriarchy, and misogynistic life. Alright, I'm going to go to bed."

Purple then closed his eyes and went to bed. Rainy Night did the same but placed her head onto Purple.
