Fallout Equestria: Wasteland Guardian

Eighteen-year-old Technician fourth grade Rainy Night was with a Grand Pegasus Enclave six pegasi squad.

"Alright we got to find those missing army troopers," said the squad leader, "They just didn't vanish into thin air. Somepony or something out here got them."

A Grand Pegasus Enclave soldier replied, "Commander. The distress beacon should be around those boulders or rocks."

The squad leader replied, "Alright squad let's go over there."

The squad went over there and saw a few Raiders was eating something but the Raiders ran away.

They went over to the meat and it was a strange color. But they went inside the cave.

"This ain't spooky," said Rainy Night

They went down the cave to a Stable door that says "192" on the door.

Rainy Night went up to the door panel and worked her magic and Rainy Night hotwired the Stable door control and the Stable door slid open.

"Shit somepony opened the door," Said a raider, "They're going to wish they didn't mess with the Hawkeye Gang!"

Several Raiders came out with blunt objects and a few unicorns with 10mm pistols.

The Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers including Rainy Night didn't hesitate to shoot them quickly.

"Not worth the time or effort," said a Grand Pegasus Enclave assault specialist.

Rainy Night replied, "Don't get cocky now. There's probably more down here probably more dangerous or more of a challenge."

The squad entered the hallway and due to their's six of them Rainy Night, the squad leader, and cold sniper went east while the Heavy Weapons expert, hyper lethal one, and assault specialist/CQB one went to the west.

I sure do love that hyper-lethal one, Rainy Night thought, Even though I have never seen him out of his armor. I haven't seen his eyes. I wonder his sexuality is straight or bi-sexual.

More Raiders jumped out and attacked them. But they were killed with ease and they had primitive armor dating back to the cave ponies very far before the three tribes got together.

"I wanted a challenge," said the sniper, "These Raiders. They're poor-quality to be a threat. They're just rift raft and not really a threat. Yeah, they're a big threat but just thieves."

The squad commander replied, "Even they're inferior to us. But they'll use the same tactics as us. They'll set booby traps and do what they want to survive. Just watch out for their booby traps."

They soon came across an elevator and the three got in the elevator and the squad commander pressed the most bottomed bottom to the "mainframe" room.

"I'm going to skull fuck those raiders," said the sniper

Rainy Night replied, "Hope you don't mind Raider diseases, Warrant Officer,"

The Sniper replied, "What? Raiders don't have diseases. I don't think they don't have diseases."

The elevator door opened and the three stepped off.

"Alright Technical Fourth Class," said the Squad Leader, "This is your specialty."

Technician Fourth Class Rainy Night went into another room and saw a Crusader Maneframe.

"I thought only three were built," said Rainy Night, "I guess some built more illegally or the rest aren't on record. Alright better get to work."

Rainy Night went to work and tried to access it only to be blocked out from it.

"Alright if you want to play this game you dumb Crusader Maneframe," said Rainy Night, "I'll find a way to get into you."

Rainy Night did her best to hack into it and tried to override it. But every time she did she kept getting locked out and doing an override to let herself try to hack herself in.

An hour later.

Finally got you, you bastard, Rainy Night, Thought you were so tough but nothing can stop me from hacking and getting through anything technical. Bring it on Crusader Maneframe. Think you're so tuff. If you bring your A++ game I'll bring my A+++ game.

Rainy Night was able to get in only to find out what Stable's 192 purpose was. It was for racism where it had a population of 2000 and a half were Zebra's and half were Equestrians. Not citizens but soldiers.

Rainy even found out that the plan somewhat backfired and some put an end to their racism against each other and some actually started families even though it's not what the role of it should've been. Twenty-five percent of the Stable became another version of Stable 3 but Zonies faced more racism and hate than the Zebra's and Ponies.

"I would hate to be them," said Rainy Night, "But that was a long, long time ago."

The Heavy Weapons Specialist, Assault Specialist/CQB, and Hyper-lethal one soon joined them.

"They posed not much of a threat." said the Assault Specialist/CQB GPE soldier, "My Novasurge Scattergun is limited with ammo. Those Raiders were easy."

Rainy Night then left the Illegally made Crusader Maneframe and opened the door and screamed in horror a bit.

The Squad leader and the Hyper lethal ones entered the room and saw three Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers nailed to a wall and two laying on the floor with their wings torn off.

"We found the missing soldiers," said the squad leader, "Come on airborne pegasi. Let's secure this area for the Grand Pegasus Enclave."

All of them besides Rainy Night left to secure the wasteland within a mile around Stable 192 around the whole Stable even flush out the entire Stable.

Rainy Night then hummed and waited for the Crusader Maneframe to be more proper and work until it started but for some reason, it started to throw sparks so without tools she used what she could to fix it.

"I kind of miss my older identical twin sister," said Rainy Night, "Even if she would trap me under the blanket and fart in my face while sleeping. But I miss her though. But she's at FOB Echo. Just sitting here talking to myself."

What's the point of the Grand Pegasus Enclave Airborne Divisions, Rainy Night thought, I mean we jump out of a Vertibuck from several thousand feet and soar down. We got Cloudships that can transport hundreds if not thousands of Soldiers. Those ThunderHeads may transport thousands and act as mobile military bases. But why are we needed? The Army, Marines, and AIrforce I can understand. The GPE Army for defending bases, serving as assault soldiers, and garrison soldiers. On the other hoof the GPE Marines they're just responsible for a majority of land-based military operations, combined arms, surface raids, and hunting down deserters, not Dashites. Nothing like hunting down pegasi who turned against us and fled without becoming a Dashite. The Airforce I can understand because they fly & maintain the V-1, V-3, V-4, V-5, V-6, V-7, V-8, & V-9 Vertibucks.

Rainy Night just tried to hack into the other terminals in the room only for some of them just shut off on her for no reason and one of them blew up on her when trying to access it.

"Lucky me," said Rainy Night, "Others aren't lucky. They had their faces blown off."

The glass shards fell off of her face power armor and she went to another and for some reason, that one shut down.

Rainy Night then went back over to Crusader Maneframe and saw a mare's face on it.

"Hello?" said the voice, "Who are you?"

Rainy Night replied, "Technician Fourth Class Rainy Night. Third Grand Pegasus Enclave Army, Twenty-fifth Airborne Division, Sixteenth Regiment, Third Battalion, Second company, first platoon, fifth squad. Who are you?"

The Crusader Maneframe replied, "I'm Overmare Bell Break or for the past couple hundreds of years I'm Crusader Maneframe CM-0012OMBB. Would you like to play a game?"

Rainy Night replied, "What kind of game?"

The Crusader Maneframe replied, "Chess or a game I made called "Balefire: Nopony Survives". Which one is it?"

Rainy Night chose the Balefire one and the screen changed to an outline of Equestria and the Zebra homeland. Rainy Night was the Zebra's and the Crusader Maneframe was Equestria.

"How do I play?" asked Rainy Night

The Crusader Maneframe replied, "There are five levels. EDEFCON 5 is where you can place your units, in EDEFCON 4 You can still place down units and buildings but you can see your enemies, in EDEFCON 3 your naval units will go attack enemy Naval units in the South and North Lunar Seas and your airforces will dogfight, in EDEFCON 2 Your bombers will prepare for first-strike capabilities, and in EDEFCON 1 either one of us has to launch our Balefire missiles and drop our Balefire bombs."

They played the game and Rainy Night lost very quickly.

"How do I win?" asked Rainy Night

The Crusader Maneframe replied, "You don't. Everypony loses."

Rainy Night then wanted to play chess so the two played chess until the squad came back.

Four hours later

The squad came back and the hyper-lethal one was covered in blood and saw Rainy Night talking to the Crusader Maneframe.

"It's alright Overmare Bell Break." said Rainy Night, "They're my squadmates."

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "I remember my squad back during the war. Sergeant Hawk was a no-nonsense squad leader, Corporal "Bucklyn" even though he was Manehattan. But he was the nerd, Private First Class Withers, and me, Private Bell. Do you want me to tell you a story about how I and the platoon I was in holding back a whole regiment of Zebra's from overwhelming us?"

The squad leader replied, "Not now. Another time."

Crusader Maneframe/Overmare Bell replied, "Oh ok then. Be safe and hope to see you all soon."

They all left and went to the third floor of the Stable.

Wonder why I joined up, Rainy Night thought, Yeah I get forty-five Enclave Bits a month of my military service. So I can support my family and my twin sister gets paid fifty Enclave Bits a month. But we always had a way with technology and our parents may have been soldiers and were allowed to have two foals. And that's me and my twin.

A Raider came out of nowhere and tried to slash Rainy only for her armor not to allow the knife's blade to go through the armor to harm her.

Soon there was a bright light where another Raider threw a flashbang and Rainy Night had a flashback to her childhood.

Fourteen years ago.

"Papa?" said a four-year-old Rainy Night, "Can I have some more food?"

Rainy Night's father replied, "Sorry Rainy. I would love to feed you more. But half of our crops go to feed every other pegasus up here. And I know it ain't a lot but we got to ration our food until another harvest. I'm sorry honey. If I could I would find a way to double our harvest intake so we could have food not ration it. But we have others to feed as well. Those marines, army soldiers, and other GPE soldiers and civilians and the councilponies. We have to feet them as well. The GPE may have other farms but we all have to feed them. I wish food just magically appeared but it's not like those fairy tails I read you and Hailing Rain to bed at night. I wish mother was here and well I try."

four-year-old Rainy Night replied, "Where is mama daddy?"

Her father replied, "I'll tell you later when you're older."

"I wish mother was here," said four-year-old Rainy Night, "I wish mother was here I miss her,"

"Alright kiddos," said the father, "Time to go out and play and don't come back until sunset. And don't go underneath the cloud layer."

Rainy and Hailing Night both got up and went out to play.

Back in the present day

"Rainy?" said the squad leader, "Rainy? Rainy! Are you alright?"

Rainy replied after shaking her head, "Yeah I'm fine. Just had a flashback. I'm fine. Let's clear out this Stable from the Raiders and let's go."

The Raiders were just armed with 10mm Pistols, .357 Magnums, .44 Magnums, 10mm Submachine Guns, Hunting Rifles, and Double-barrel shotguns. But they were ineffective against the Grand Pegasus Enclave's power armor and the Novasurge Rifles, Novasurge Sniper Rifle which just has a scope on it, and the Novasurge Scattergun which just acts like a shotgun over a rifle. the heavy Weapons Specialist has a Magical Energy Minigun.

One Raider jumped on the back of the Hyper-lethal one only for him to quickly get the Raider off of him and twisted the Raider's head around in a 180-degree rotation then threw him down onto the cold steel and concrete floor.

Now that ain't scary, Rainy Night thought, Never seen no pony get their head twisted around.

As the bullets fired so did the Novasurge rifles, and Novasurge scattergun rounds increased and the raiders were killed and mostly incinerated.

With the third floor easily cleared they went up to the second floor and found it was easily fightable and the Raiders weren't easily defendable due to its mostly the atrium and the tables weren't the best cover and some of them were so high and charged at them with baseball bats or pool cues.

The ones with melee weapons were easily killed and Rainy Night saw the hyper-lethal one use the scorpion-like tail and stabbed the Raider ten times in the torso. Then threw the raider down onto the ground.

Before they could go up they saw more raiders show up. But they're armed with flamethrowers.

"More Raiders," said the Squad leader, "Alright Ethereal squad. Take them out."

The squad fired their Novasugre weapons and Magical Energy Minigun at them and the Flamethrowers had a short range which the cover they had didn't help the raiders and the Ethereal squad made short work of them.

"Damn that fire is hot," said Rainy

The Sniper replied, "Yeah. Fire is hot. But we're lucky that our power armor protects us,"

Rainy Night then went back to Crusader Maneframe and talked to it.

"Would you like to hear my background?" asked Rainy Night

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "Sure why not,"

Eighteen-years-ago

A pegasus mare painfully screamed as she pushed and soon there was a crying sound. The doctor told the two that they have a baby daughter then told them there was another foal so she pushed.

The second female foal was named "Rainy Night" while the first was named "Hailing Rain Night,"

Eighteen-years-later

"My life been mostly boring," said Rainy Night, "Just living on a farm only thing I wanted as a foal, filly, and as a mare. I just wanted food on the table not just having felt like scraps. Nothing but eighteen years of eating little where the other fillies and colts picked on me and my twin sister due to how skinny we were. But when I turned Seventeen I left home and joined the Grand Pegasus Enclave Army and was sent to Fort Breeze for my basic training but assigned to 1766. My twin sister was assigned to 777. The pay is alright but yeah I like my job. My armor has a specialized piece a microphone. So I can call for help and all that."

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "Oh fancy. Back when I was in the army we carried radiotelephone on our backs. Also, what happened to your mother?"

Rainy Night replied, "She suffered from... From Cardiac Arrest. She didn't make it and we never got to meet her."

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "Oh. I'm so sorry that you didn't have a mother and didn't have a mother figure. My mother back then was abusive she always drank and when we got into trouble she burned us with her cigars or cigarettes. I hope she died painfully when the Balefire bombs went off in Baltimare. But the war was different than you imagine. I can tell you about the war days if you want?"

Rainy Night replied, "I would love to understand how the world was then,"

Crusader Maneframe/Overmare Bell replied, "Well sometime before the war started. The coal in Equestria started to run out. Sometime after the Zebra Pirates had Seventeen ponies captured but the Princess wanted to help but the Zebra Ceaser replied that it would "increase aggressions".

"The Wonderbolts went in and four died freeing the captives and fighting the Zebra pirates. Sometime after the Wonderbolts Massacre, a convoy of Zebras went through LittleHorn and went by the Littlehorn School and was massacred by accident. I think it was an accident but after that Princess Celestia abdicated her position to Princess Luna."

"But Shattered Hoof Ridge. Big Mac he died protecting Princess Celestia when a Zebra Assassin tried to kill her but Big Mac died instead. When Princess Luna took over.

"There was no peace and well us and the Zebra's placed armed troops along the Equestrian-Zebra border and both sides dug trenches and like that war. Those Zebras were crafty bastards where they mastered stealth and wore stealth cloaks a lot. But a lot of them fought honorably without stealth but a lot did.

"But us Equestria. We had our best and brightest at work and came up with new wartime tech. Yeah, Ministry Mare Applejack and her Ministry of Wartime Technology created new tech like Power Armor and the Steel Rangers were formed. I always called them MWT Rangers. But in the war the Zebra's had Zeppelins and in response, we came up with Flak cannons and Monoplanes. But the planes slowly replaced the Pegasi but they did things that the planes couldn't do. But Soon newer planes were invented such as Fighter-bombers, and bombers.

"But after some got shot down the Zebra's started to build their own. But the Zebra's even fearing Princess Luna went out into the North and South Lunar Oceans to capture Equestrian Islands. In response, we started to build Submarines, Destroyers, Light Cruisers, Heavy Cruisers, BattleCruisers, Battleships, and Aircraft Carriers. But without coal, we started to make Charcoal as a temp which it worked. But had to use kerosene for the planes.

But to me, there are too many white crosses out there and our population before the war was forty million two hundred eighty thousand, and two hundred and sixty-five. Our Army forces were Sixteen and a half million, 3,546,179 Sailors, two million and four hundred thousand pilots and pegasi who served in the war. A total of twenty-two million, four hundred forty-nine thousand, and one hundred and seventy-nine served. The Zebra's had Sixty million soldiers against us.

But yet we prevailed with the Steel Rangers and new tech. It turned into a bloody affair nothing but a stalemate at the border so both sides resorted to Island Hopping campaign to capture each other islands and get to each other's homelands. Us Equestrians went with the Shock and Awe way while the Zebra's went with a more of a Covert way to take them."

Rainy Night replied, "Interesting. How many Pegasi fought in the war? Not the pilots."

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "A total of two million, three hundred thousand and seventy-three served. Eighty percent of those who served were killed but the remaining twenty percent formed the first council and leadership of the Grand Pegasus Enclave. Scanning Complete. Your Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Granddad was Colonel Autumn Raining Hail. He strafed thirty-seven hundred Zebra soldiers with a minigun battle saddle and a rocket launcher battle saddle. He also destroyed thirty Zebra Light tanks with two machine guns and a 20-30mm autocannon and Heavy Zebra tanks."

Rainy Night replied, "I thought Crusader Maneframes couldn't scan?"

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "I'm built to scan any anypony or anything. I was built by the Equestrian Army thirteenth Engineer Regiment without permission from Stable-Tec. The Crusader Maneframe was built and Crusader was from CMC or Cutie Mark Crusaders or popularly known as adults as Stable-Tec Trio which is well was Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle. Connecting... Connecting... Connecting... Connection failed. I cannot connect to the War Department in Canterlot."

"I wish the food was good," said Rainy Night, "Sorry. But the field rations we get and the food the GPE makes. It's bland and tasteless. Unless I got terrible tastebuds which I don't."

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "The Equestrian M.R.E's. Some were terrible and some were good. The Porkchop one was delicious but extremely rare. Can you tell me more about your past?"

Rainy Night didn't understand where she didn't know where to start with her childhood or teenage life so she started with her childhood.

"My childhood," said Rainy Night, "It was tough but me and my twin sister and our father went through with little food per month. We always had to ration our food supply and it felt like nothing. So, my father took me to go see his brother who's a Councilpony. Well, my uncle told my father that he would love to help us but he couldn't. A lot of other colts and fillies picked on us. They always said, "Why don't you eat more?", "Hey boney? Want some food? Or are you just dieting?", "Hey skinny? Why don't you eat more?". When we became teenagers the stallions were more ruthless. They were like, "Yeah I cam give you some "food" it won't make you that skinny,". That's just one but it was most common."

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "This "food" what were they talking about?"

Rainy Night replied, "Well you know. Unless if you want me to fully tell you?"

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "Yeah. I want to know."

"Yeah my childhood wasn't pleasant and wasn't easy," said Rainy Night, "But neither was teenhood. Even though I was skinny and almost boney I kept my physical shape in tip-top shape. Well, when I turned fourteen I told my father I wanted to be a GPE Military Policemare and he supported my decision to join the GPE Armed forces. My twin said, "Rainy took my idea of joining the GPE Armed Forces,". But yeah we turned eighteen and when we signed up we went to Fort Breeze for BCT. After Basic Training and Basic Combat Training well the ones going to train for repairs and engineering also radios and all that to be a GPE Armed Forces Specialist and Technician we went to Fort Cyclone or Fort Typhoon or Fort Hurricane.

"Me and my twin sister went to Fort Typhoon even though we got the same room. But I'm a Technician Fourth Grade even though I keep getting called a Specialist. My twin sister, she's a Specialist First Class and I'm a Technician Fourth Grade. She gets fifty Enclave Bits and I get forty-five. Not adding we had to share the same bed like our childhood and teenager and she still acted like a child and still held me under the blanket."

Well the ones working for us used telegraph and messaged us about us and they sent us the schematics of the Balefire bomb to us and secretly made ours without the Zebra's being wiser. They launched theirs at us first and we launched a retaliation strike even if it means the end of the world. Also, you can keep telling me about your youth,"

Rainy Night didn't know where to start due to she did have a poor family, a poor lifestyle, not enough food not adding she never met her mother who went into cardiac arrest and was picked on her entire life. Rainy Night didn't have the most happiest nor best childhood or life. But she loved it and taught her to be a better pony than being spoiled brats like her fellow pegasi who bullied her and her twin sister.

"I didn't have the best youth," said Rainy Night, "But I didn't give up and kept my nose to the grindstone. And after my training, I was assigned to the Twenty-fifth Airborne Division. Well, we either jump and fly or soar down from about ten thousand feet and land, or our Vertibuck lands some miles away and fly or walk to the targeted location. Let's say in Fillydelphia. We jump out, land, secure some locations that are important, and assassinate/kill any targets."

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "At least you kept your head up and kept working hard even though your father's financial situation. Not a lot of ponies would do that."

The rest of the squad entered.

"Alright Crusader Maneframe." said the Squad Leader, "You said you have a story for us?"

Overmare Bell/Crusader Maneframe replied, "Ah yes I do. But it's a long time ago back before you pegasi flocked up to the clouds and sealed yourselves up there like a bunch of cowards."

None of them took offense to that because they actually think the pegasi that formed the Grand Pegasus Enclave were cowards for leaving the Unicorn and Earth ponies behind and didn't help them.
