While in the old military training city standing on a cathedral that once worshiped Princess Luna.

"I don't know if it's going to come or not," said Purple. "The Steel Rangers and my brother's army could counterattack or not."

Starry replied, "I'd say we go and find Wild Pegasus Whiskey,"

Purple replied, "Where are we going to get whiskey at? This was an old military training city to simulate urban combat. Not the biggest bar in the wasteland. Maybe there is whiskey somewhere out here in the city but it's not today."

A unicorn replied, "Can we do someth..."

There was a hole in his head and his body fell over and all of them took cover but Critical Shot looked through his scope and Purple looked through the scope of his scoped Lancaster lever-action rifle.

"Damn where is this fucker," said Critical.

Purple replied, "Critical. Snipers glare dead ahead down the main road."

There was a gunshot and they all looked at Purple who placed in a new round.

"Enemy sniper down," Purple said. "Alright me and Critical will stay up here and provide sniper fire while we can. Go down below and meet up with Paladin Sapphire she's with Sentinel Glace, Paladin Groomy Fury, Paladin Galaxy Swirl, Knight Sugar Pumpkin, and Knight Prismatic Twister."

Rocky Road rolled her eyes because she and Paladin Sapphire act like sisters who don't get along and try to fight each other. Purple acts like a father who has to break up the fighting.

Out on the streets.

"Let's secure this city," Paladin Sapphire said. "They don't get nothing on us!"

The Grand Pony Enclave Infantry were mostly equipped with submachine guns and rifles but not really much of a threat because the Raiders are more of a threat than them. But their officers only carry submachine guns and rally them and the Wasteland Guardians and the Grand Pony Enclave usually target the officers first though.

They're more Grand Pony Enclave soldiers such as their Airborne forces which were Grand Pegasus Enclave airborne soldiers but their power armor or uniform is a green-gray uniform. They were armed either with rifles or assault rifles but they're very skilled and deadly in combat. But their snipers and officers are the same but they are extremely deadly.

"Hey up here!" yelled Purple, "That sniper! Go see who it is! Well, who it was!"

The group then went into the building but there were ten Grand Pony Enclave soldiers armed with both Zebra Assault Carbines and Equestrian Storm Assault Rifles which the latter were issued to Equestrian elite soldiers. They are three times deadlier than the Zebra Assault Carbine and one round can blow a ponies head off even though it's chambered in 7.92x30mm rounds.

They used cover effectively and fired blindly. If they had grenades they would have used them. The Grand Pony Enclave had basic infantry but they were the Grand Pegasus Enclave Airborne soldiers who defected over to Base. Some were random Zebras armed with their deadly Zebra Assault Carbines.

Critical and Purple provided sniper cover and the Grand Pony Enclave didn't care or didn't notice the light glances on the two scopes before their brains met the cobblestone or brick road.

"Your brother really wants this city all to his wholesome," said Critical.

Purple replied, "According to Rainy Night. My brother left to go to Frozen North this morning. He probably doesn't know we're here. But who knows. But Rainy Night is monitoring their communications and she relays messages to me. So we got the upper hoof. I don't think he has a radio or some way to relay orders or commands back to his soldiers or something like that so we don't entirely don't have to worry."

Critical replied, "I hope I have enough bullets. Yesterday I bought one hundred rounds in my spare bag. And I only have thirty remaining, not adding the five I got in my rifle."

Purple replied, "When we go home. I can show you how to make more ammo."

Outside of the bombed-out brick three-story building.

Paladin Sapphire went in first with the remaining of the Steel Rangers who defected over to Purple entered and Starry, Rocky, Twyla, and Opel went into the building. They went to the second floor and saw the dead Pegasus Grand Pony Enclave sniper.

Twyla waved towards Purple and Critical and they both saw it.

They were engaged by Grand Pony Enclave soldiers. But they were easily dealt with because they were normal wastelanders forced into the Grand Pony Enclave and they were all stallions.

On the ledge of the cathedral both Critical and Purple got scared because Lieutenant Honey Cake came and she wanted to share some good news.

"You got some help incoming within an hour," said Lt Honey Cake. "Some expected help."

Critical replied, "An hour? We can't wait an hour! We're running low on ammo, Purple is out of medical supplies. So far it's mostly me, Purple, and the other friends we have who are combat effective about half. Tell'em to hurry up. Lieutenant!"

Lieutenant Honey Cake replied, "I'm no longer a Lieutenant. Due to the mess, we left at the Gala. I was promoted to Colonel. It's Colonel Honey Cake. And I'm in charge of Combat Command Attack Honey Cake. Even though I only have three Battalions of infantry, a Field Artillery Battalion. Engineer company, twelve infantry companies, four artillery batteries, a recon company, and a Regimental HQ. I may be pregnant but I do my own scouting with my own reconnaissance company."

Purple replied, "How many soldiers do you have?"

Colonel Honey Cake replied, "Three thousand and five hundred soldiers. The remaining one thousand and five hundred are in the other companies. Don't worry my CCA will help and I ordered them to modify their power armor to distinguish them from Friend or Foe."

Paladin Sapphire then went up to the third floor and there was a loud explosion and a thud which led her to retreat back downstairs. She removed her helmet to see a hole in the helmet.

Paladin Sapphire then saw a bullet that narrowly missed her head by half an inch and she said that she was lucky. And the round she removed out of her helmet but she would need to go back to the town of Crimson to fix it. But she pushed on.

"There's an enemy sniper out there," said Paladin Sapphire. "Nearly removed my head."

Rocky Road wished that it did hit her in the head so she can get rid of her and not be a pain in her side since day one. But Rocky couldn't do anything about it and didn't know what Purple would or will do in retaliation.

They were about to leave but encountered more Grand Pony Enclave soldiers. But Purple and Critical couldn't provide any sniper support because some of the ruined buildings blocked their line of sight. But if they needed it badly then they could retreat out into the open and the two could pick them off.

"They're too powerful!" said a Grand Pony Enclave soldier, "They're stronger than raiders!"

As they retreated, Rocky, Starry, Paladin Sapphire, and the other former Steel Rangers with a few Wasteland Guardians shot them in the back as the Earth, Pegasi, Unicorns, and Zebras galloped away. Not adding some of the Wasteland Guardians had Molotov Cocktails and they lit them and threw them and set the Grand Pony Enclave soldiers ablaze.

Still on the ledge of the cathedral.

"Honey Cake?" asked Purple, "Want to hear a joke?"

Honey Cake replied, "Sure. What is it?"

Purple replied, "Why couldn't the five-year-old couldn't see a pirate movie?"

Honey Cake replied, "Why?"

Purple replied, "Because it was rated Arrg!"

Honey Cake chuckled because she used to read comic books which had pirates in them.

Purple then shot a Grand Pony Enclave soldier on a machine gun in an emplaced place with no cover above the gunner. Purple shot him through the soldier's helmet.

Purple saw another Grand Pony Enclave soldier get on the machine gun and the unicorn fired it thinking they knew where Purple was but he was somewhere else. Purple aimed down the scope and shot the unicorn in the forehead.

"Raiders are a better annoyance and can fight better than them," said Purple. "I mean at least I've fought Raiders who at least can take cover and some shoot at you to keep you suppressed while some charge you with knives, machetes, and pool cues."

Rocky snuck up behind and shot unarmored Grand Pony Enclave with her ten mm pistol and shot them without hesitation.

Rocky was shot by a bolt-action rifle and was shot in the leg. She ran back onto the other side for cover because she didn't want to be shot again.

None of them knew where the shot came from. But they thought it was dead ahead in the ruins of a four-story building.

Rocky couldn't move more or less. But the former Steel Rangers had enough firepower to lay enough covering fire and Twyla, Opel, and three other Wasteland Guardians entered the place but it was empty.

Before the elite Grand Pony Enclave soldiers arrived they were a Verti-Assault team and they had the firepower to keep them suppressed. It led Rocky, Paladin Sapphire, Starry, Twyla, Opel, and the three others to blind fire which lowered their chances of getting shot or killed.

"Purple," said Critical, "Look. Hostile armored wagons! Our bullets can pierce them!"

Purple replied calmly, "Do we have any missile or rocket launchers?"

Critical replied, "On the Eastside. Let's go, I'll follow you."

Purple opened a door and saw some Grand Pony Enclave soldiers on the other side. He switched to his 7.62mm Battle Rifle. Critical only had his sniper rifle and really wished he had another weapon.

Purple cleared out the Grand Pony Enclave soldiers and slid over a 5.56mm Assault Rifle to Critical who then picked it up with his magic and followed Purple. They had to clear out more. But Critical could help out in combat now.

On the Eastside of the Cathedral, there were some 66mm Light Anti-Tank Launchers, Missile Launchers, and Rocket Launchers.

Purple got the 66mm LATL and Critical got a Missile Launcher, went back to the Westside and shot down at the armored combat wagons down below shooting at them with their water-cooled .30-06 Machine guns or air-cooled .30-06 machine guns. But Purple found out quickly that the 66mm LATL is a one-shot disposable Anti-Tank Launcher given to the Equestrian Marines and Equestrian Special Forces so they wouldn't have to carry the Missile and Rocket Launchers.

I hate this running back and forth, Purple thought, Screw it. I'm bringing it all.

Purple came back shortly and had the remaining five 66mm LATLs with him and fired them while aiming in front of them. He would shoot and blow the unicorns pulling it but they have a shield around them so the shrapnel can't kill them.

It took both Purple and Critical six shots to destroy both of the armored wagons which weren't shooting at them not too long ago.

The former Steel Rangers used their firepower to keep the enemy suppressed, giving Rocky, Paladin Sapphire, Starry, Twyla, and Opel the chance to throw the grenades they had if they had them to flush them out. Which it did and the Verti-Assault team was wiped out.

"Let's clear the rest of this city," said Paladin Sapphire, ordering, "Let's go, our work is just starting out!"

They cleared out the rest of the square of the city they were at, but rubble blocked them in and a V-1 Vertibuck brought them.

On Purple's Pipbuck.

"Purple," Rainy Night said, "If you can hear me get to the bridge. Reinforcements from the Grand Pegasus Enclave are inbound and they would appreciate the assistance. Even if a majority of them are assholes."

They noticed they couldn't because Purple was the only one who could go up due to his wings. But soon a brick wall exploded showing an armored wagon with an autocannon and Base's elite Grand Pony Enclave soldiers. They proved to be a lot more difficult to fight. They even suppressed Purple and Critical so they couldn't provide sniper support.

The former Steel Rangers were able to turn the tide and cut them down and destroyed the armored wagon. But there was a ruined apartment building that was occupied with more Grand Pony Enclave elite soldiers and if it wasn't for the former Steel Rangers then all of them would be dead or still pinned down.

The room to room fighting was brutal because it was hoof to hoof. But the Wasteland Guardians were victorious in the room to room combat. But when they made it to the final floor there were some health kits, sandbags, and a wide wooden board so they could get onto the bridge.

On the top floor.

"Looks like reinforcements are here," said Rocky. "We can take it easy,"

There were several Grand Pegasus Enclave soldiers walking and with armored wagons. But they saw several rockets fly by and completely destroyed the armored wagons. And fifteen Grand Pegasus Enclave Army soldiers laying on the ground dead.

The group went to go and fight the Grand Pony Enclave. But what was nightmare fuel for them was that in the armored wagons. They heard the ones inside scream in agony as they're being burned alive inside of the wreckage. But they couldn't save them and could still hear them being baked alive.

They fought and Critical did his job and that was being the sniper and shooting the Grand Pony Enclave soldiers in the head without remorse. He didn't care if they have families or not, if they're willing to kill them or the Grand Pegasus Enclave whose members have families then they're going to do the same.

"We got to secure this bridge!" said Purple, "Before CCA Honey Cake arrives and they get steamrolled."

The bullets and energy rounds flew and if it wasn't for Critical they wouldn't make it. The elite of the Grand Pony Enclave soon were killed but there was a pile up and they had to clear it which they did.

They guarded the bridge and soon after a majority of Colonel Honey Cake's Combat Command Assault Regiment showed up and either walked across the bridge or flew. But they were kind enough to let them rest or relax.

Back in the town of Crimson.

Purple was with Critical in the garage of Paladin Sapphire's house.

Purple took some copper, lead, and gunpowder and made some 7.62mm rounds. But Critical Shot followed the same and he made a lot of .30-06 rounds for his sniper rifle.
