Fallout Equestria: Wasteland Guardian

"Alright I got a story for you," said Purple. "Yeah it's another one from my six-time great-grandma Sapphire Love."

They didn't care what the story was about. But they wanted to hear something to pass the time.

Two hundred years ago.

At Equestrian Outpost Nightmare.

It was a calm warm day with the Equestrian flag proudly flying in the wind.

LtCmdr Sapphire Love walked outside of a barracks in her dark olive green uniform and walked over to the command post.

"Lieutenant-Commander," said the Lieutenant-General, "Take your squad and meet up with some Zebras who..."

LtCmdr Sapphire Love replied, "Zebra's who support our cause and rebel against their own for a better future. Is that what you were saying?"

The Lt-Gen said, "Yeah. But the terrain is inhospitable along the way. But you'll have Ms. Drawn Skies, Ms. Lovely Sprinkle, Ms. Kale Tiger, Mr. Marble Blitz, and Ms. Flower Heart. They're a part of the Zebra Legionnaires. They'll act as your guides to the resistance location."

LtCmdr Sapphire Love had her reservations and had no problem fighting with the Zebra's but a squad helping them. The Zebra legion being the most dangerous in the war gladly helped the Equestrians. Something didn't sit well with her but she also thought it was her prejudices due to their being at war.

LtCmdr Sapphire went and talked with Sgt Drawn Skies, the squad commander for the Zebra squad that would be helping them traverse the land to meet up with some Zebra's who'll support the Equestrian war efforts over their own war efforts.

They got their gear and went with the Zebras but the entire time she and her boyfriend thought they were going to be led into an ambush. But the trip was long and there was a path they couldn't go through without a guide or a map because the path was dangerous with animals and rockslides.

Zebra's never expected their enemy to use one of the few passes that they don't watch. They didn't care that in the pre-war days smugglers used unwatched passes to smuggle and the few guards sent to stop them were bribed.

Ten hours later.

"Alright the town," said Sgt Drawn Skies, "But the Zebra's are everywhere in the town."

They saw Zebra patrols walking around not adding they did door to door searches for any resistance. They already loaded up a bunch of Zebra's onto wagons to sabotage resistance, steal industrial blueprints, sabotage infrastructure, sabotage resources, steal military blueprints, steal navy blueprints, steel air forces blueprints, and infiltrate the civilian administration.

LtCmdr Sapphire Love, PFC Farming Green, CPL Violet Soaring and Chief Warrant Officer Five Aurora Spring decided how to get into the town. But LtCmdr Sapphire thought about freeing the prisoners.

"Anything we should know before we continue?" asked Corporal Violet Soaring.

Sgt Drawn Skies replied, "There's four 85mm dual-purpose AA/AT that overlook the town that'll blow any Equestrian tanks and Steel Rangers sky-high. But all four are castmates. There are four quadruplet Anti-Air guns with HE-Frag nose fused with tracer rounds that will cut your pegasi in their fancy-schmancy pegasi power armor and aircraft. Also, do me a favor when you return to Canterlot. Call Fluttershy a 'dumbass bitch' for us. I mean the C.A.R.E. That she made is one thing. But I'd got a warning your government would do well to heed. Zebra engineers are reverse engineering them into Balefire bombs.

"Their necromancy is an enhanced version of a dragon's fire that's strong enough and supposedly can level whole cities if detonated in large quantities. But it'll do more than I imagined. The Gov't thinks just three of them can wipe out a city like Manehattan and completely destroy it leaving no survivors. Oh, all the easy paths that'll put you under the castmates are mined with fragmentation and pulse mines so it'll be easier to sneak around and strike from behind."

Ltcmdr Sapphire was hesitant to thank them but Private First Class Farming Green did it for her. Even the squad of Zebra's with them understood why and the Zebra's with them didn't mind and knew they would've done the same if the situation was reversed.

The squad went down into the town but none of them have a suppressed weapon only a 7.62mm Battle Rifle and a 5.56mm Assault Rifle for LtCmdr Sapphire Love, a 7.62mm GPMG battle saddle for Farming Green, a 5.56mm battle saddle for Violet Soaring, and a scoped 7.62mm for Aurora Surge.

They moved from cover to cover and stuck to the shadows. But at the house they got to meet with the Zebra rebels.

In the house.

A Zebra stallion had a Zebra Assault Carbine stuck it in Ltcmdr Sapphire's face and told her to drop her gun.

"Get that damn gun out of my face or something bad is going to happen!" said Ltcmdr Sapphire Love.

The Zebra stallion replied, "What are you going to do about it?"

Ltcmdr Sapphire Heart knocked the gun out of his hooves and punched him hard across the face breaking some bones but knocking the Zebra out.

"That's what I'll do," said Ltcmdr Sapphire.

Aurora Spring said under his breath, "Hot damn I love her."

They met up with the local resistance and they weren't entirely liked due to the Equestrian Air force been dropping both high explosive incendiary, earthquake bombs on both military and residential targets. A couple of days ago the Equestrian Air force razed a Zebra town with ninety-six incendiary bombs.

The resistance leader told them that Zebras built a massive railroad gun that can lob a ten thousand pound high explosive round. They planned on mass producing them to halt or even turn the tide of the war.

Before Ltcmdr Sapphire or anypony in her squad could say anything the resistance leader told them that the defenders are Zebra Legion soldiers who took precautions of mounting anti-air guns which will cut down pegasi in power armor and the Equestrian fighter-bombers, and bombers. Not adding machine guns as well for anti-personnel roles.

It was getting dark and it was a very long walk from the Zebra resistance in the town and locked the Special Forces Group in the attic due to at night Zebra patrols doing door to door searches. But mostly do half-assed jobs of doing so, not adding they kill any Zebra who didn't support their war effort but supported the Equestrian's over theirs.

The attic was hot but they saw posters wanting peace and harmony with Equestria over fighting with them. They also saw wooden weapon racks with both Equestrian, Stalliongradian and Zebra weapons.

What creeped Aurora Spring out was the scythes but that's because he's from a middle-class family from Maretime Bay. He was also a military brat with his father being a Lieutenant-Colonel and his grandfather being a five-star general, and his great grandfather being the General of the Equestrian Army and inventor of gunpowder with his father Aurora's great-great-grandad who was a Major in the Equestrian Army.

"Once it took hours if not days for armies to destroy each other," whispered Aurora Spring. "Now armies can destroy each other within seconds if not minutes. Castle walls like the ones that protect Canterlot make those walls useless. It also made the old armor useless as well,"

Ltcmdr Sapphire whispered, "Yeah. But the war would last twice if not three times as long if we were still using spears, javelins, bow and arrows, crossbows, lances, axes, maces, daggers, and trebuchets. I mean we got pistols, shotguns, automatic rifles, sniper rifles, submachine guns, dynamite, satchel charges, plastic explosives, grenades, and other ballistic weapons. But yeah we had muskets but some ponies wish it was like the old days when friendship, harmony and bleh."

They went to sleep with Ltcmdr Sapphire Love and Aroura Spring cuddling only for her to have a nightmare of her returning home one day and walking in on Aroura Spring having sex with another mare. Not adding when he was eighteen he was in multiple issues of Playmare the mare version of Playcolt and he was ranked number one of the sexiest stallions alive.

Aurora Spring had to console her and reassure her that he wouldn't cheat on her no matter what and if it'll make it better he promised to be a house husband when the two officially tie the knot. But Ltcmdr Sapphire told him she doesn't care if he gets a job with his mother posing in those dirty magazines for mares.

"Only thing I want is to make you happy," whispered Aurora Spring. "I'll do anything you want. Especially when the war ends. I will do anything to keep you safe and sound even if we end up with a house full of foals, you're going to be my top priority."

Ltcmdr Sapphire replied, "I love you too. And I'll do the same."

The two shared a passionate kiss before going back to bed.

In the morning.

The special forces squad got up and some of the Zebra rebels came and told them the location of the railroad gun which was sitting and waiting for the Equestrians to get close and blow them sky-high. Not even the Steel Rangers will be safe.

They were escorted by some of the Rebels and it was also a long hike. The time was 7:30 in the morning when they got up and got there at one forty in the afternoon.

At a scenic overlook.

They saw the massive railroad gun with the crew maintaining it, waiting for the day and time for the Equestrians to get close so they could blast them back to the stone age.

"Alright we'll go right," said Ltcmdr Sapphire Love. "Aurora, you stay behind and provide sniper support. But use subsonic rounds over your normal rounds dear,"

Aurora Spring switched over to the subsonic bullets he has and sniped the Zebra's that were isolated. He even shot a small treehouse look alike that had a Zebra sniper with a Zebra sniper rifle only for it to break and make the Zebra soldier fall to his death.

The Zebra soldiers with the SFG used their knives but couldn't believe that they're betraying their own country for a better future. But they knew it's a pointless war and knew they're going to lose and they're losing the war.

They also hid in the tall grass and snuck right under the Zebra soldiers' noses and didn't even notice the Equestrians until they either had their necks broken or throats slit. Ltcmdr Sapphire also strangled some Zebra soldiers to death with either her 5.56mm or 7.62mm rifles.

Twenty minutes later by the bridge.

Lieutenant-commander Sapphire took the satchel charges and because she's the lightest one of them all and she placed the charges on bridge legs.

Two minutes later there were multiple explosions and the massive railway gun fell below with the Zebra crew falling to their deaths and they returned back to the place.

Unknown to them that all of the Zebra towns and villages in a thirty-mile radius around the bridge are now under strict enforcement. Now they were doing brutal oppression on their own citizens and prohibited them from leaving town to see their loved ones in other towns, villages, and prohibited soldiers from seeing their own families.

At night after spending all day in a hot attic sweating like a pig they snuck out to have a fake delivery to the Zebra war dept with paperwork looking official and they didn't bother to check to see if the order was legitimate.

Several hours later.

The Equestrian Special Forces soldiers were on a hill overlooking a Zebra harbor which had a few Zebra Anti-Air guns and a few searchlights searching the night sky for any Equestrian Pegasi, Chariot bombers even thought a lot of them had been phased out of service, and aircraft such as the V-1 Vertibucks.

"Alright let's take this harbor out of commission," said Ltcmdr Sapphire. "At least we can severely hurt one of their supply lines."

Everyone used their binoculars and saw Zebra soldiers and Military Police walking or standing guard and Zebra sailors loading wheel barrels full of coal on board for long trips to take supplies to Zebra soldiers and bases across the North Lunar Ocean.

"One less harbor for them," said Corporal Violet Soaring. "And fewer supplies for them makes it easier for the Marines to secure the Islands."

Private First Class Farming Green replied, "How many Marines, Shadowbolts, or Sailors are going to return home with fewer supplies than the Zebra's have? I mean the less ammo for their guns and artillery they have the better. But our logistical system is so fucked up that a lot of our coastal cities like Baltimare and Manehattan are to the East but the war is in the West. It takes about what? Thirty days under normal weather conditions if not more."

They went to work silencing Zebra soldiers, Zebra Military Police, and Zebra sailors, and they sabotaged the Zebra anti-air guns and searchlights. But after twenty minutes they heard tumbling where the Zebra's were deploying their light tanks onto patrol.

Ltcmdr Sapphire came raided the armory and picked up a missile launcher and two shots destroyed the tanks and the commanders of the tanks climbed out on fire.

The Equestrians and rebelling Zebra's didn't even bother to put them out and let them burn to death as the fire burned their fur off and let them scream in agonizing pain.

With the Harbor now in ruins they walked into the night as more and more explosions came destroying buildings. But Ltcmdr Sapphire Love and Warrant Fifth Officer Aurora Spring stole a crate of vaccines for Malaria, Typhus, and Polio and brought them back to the village.

In the village.

Ltcmdr Sapphire, Chief Warrant Officer Five Aurora Spring, Corporal Violet Soaring, and Private First Class Farming Green administered the vaccines to the village residents. What was shocking but heartwarming was that a Zebra colt walked up to her and gave her a hug.

Ltcmdr Sapphire hugged the colt back. She saw all Zebra's as the enemy and the propaganda and newsreels in cinemas don't help and in the newspaper, they said a ton of racial things towards the Zebra's even Zebra's who are Equestrian citizens.

They were thanked almost nonstop by the residents but when PFC Farming Green started to walk off, Aurora Spring asked where he was going.

Farming Green replied, "Doing what I did best before this war. And that is to get laid. Back in Appleloosa I always got drunk and got laid every night."

They let him go because they were going to be there for a while and they radioed back to Headquarters that they liberated a village and the residents were on their side. But HQ also asked if there's anything else for them to report.

Ltcmdr Sapphire replied, "Tell Fluttershy... I'm coming to get her. As well, find her or I'll hunt you down if you aid her in escaping my wrath!"

They stayed there for a couple of weeks and waited for reinforcements which they did and they fought off the hostile Zebra's. Ltcmdr Sapphire Love stayed close to Aroura Spring and even kept her back end towards him because she thought a Zebra stallion would've raped her.

Ltcmdr Sapphire even had nightmares that she would've been raped, enslaved or brainwashed by a Zebra if not by a Zebra Ceaser or legate or the leader of the Zebra homeland making her a sex slave or wife.

Aurora Spring had to reassure her that he'll go to the millionth level of Tartarus to defend her no matter who or what even he'll go to the trillionth level of Tartarus to protect her from her parents.

"Maybe you should write them," said Aurora Spring. "Just say something."

Sapphire Love replied, "Nope. Nothing but bad blood. My father... my father after I reached puberty he...he...he raped me tried to see if I was fertile and all that. He met a knife into his lung. My mother was and still is a total bitch always doing the chores that my brothers and sisters had to do. They go out on Friday night and what do I do? I had to haul water, tend the garden, fill the wood box, milk the cows, feed the livestock, and so on and so forth. On Saturdays and Sundays, I had to do the laundry by soaking them overnight then using soap and boiling water then rinsing them then wrung them out, mangling them, drying them, stretching them, and flat ironing them.

"Then I would redo it the next day which I didn't finish. School wasn't better. I had two Zebra teachers, a mathematics teacher and a history teacher. Well my, they more or less wanted me to spread my legs so they can have sex with me and I was just a minor in school. My school says 'Report anything to a fellow staff member for any misconduct and report it and we can help.' But they just filed it and put it into a paper shredder or just filed it away and did nothing."

Aurora Spring replied, "What happened?"

Sapphire Love replied, "I told my parents. They 'shockingly' did nothing. I demanded to go to new teachers but the schools laughed at me more or less and didn't do a damn thing. In High School the Zebra history teacher I had told me to lift up my tail so he could fuck me in the ass. I told him to get hit by a train and stormed out. But I reported him and they asked him one question and he refused and told me that nothing will be done due to lack of evidence. I told them that I overheard their investigation and they asked him one question and walked away. "

Aurora Spring replied, "What did they do?"

Sapphire Love replied, "They kept me in the same classes. Same teachers. He did his best trying to scare me into sleeping with him but it backfired. He even used some kind of alchemy to brainwash me so he could take me to meet his son so I could be his or son's bride. Before you ask with his son I sliced from neck to neck to point and to his balls. My teacher well I drop kicked that fucker out of a second-story window.

"Tried to charge me with murder and the principal said that I should've come to him about the problem he was giving me. I told him that I did twice but they just sweep it under the rug where the school failed me in protecting me and all that. Even my own family hated me for it. But some other mares came out even mares who already graduated saying what I said about him was the truth."

Aurora Spring replied, "Let me guess. They said that they also reported to the other teachers and even principals but they asked one question then swept it under the rug?"

Sapphire Love replied, "Yeah. They said the same thing but the only reason they had sex with them was to get their math and history grades up. But now wishing they kept on the offensive like how I did it."

Aurora Spring gave Lieutenant Commander Sapphire Love a smooch on the forehead and hugged her with love and care.

Present-day.

The group stopped for a quick rest and let their legs and hooves rest for a bit. Purple placed his right hoof around Paladin Sapphire Heart and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Flared Blizzard did the same with Rocky Road. Double Tap was alone with Critical but Critical's girlfriend was and still is with Honey Cake and Double Tap really never had a lover.

After they got done resting they went on their way going southeast to the Conflagration Raider Gang held up in an old fortress. But with their flamethrowers and incendiary grenades, they'll be made almost impossible to dig out.

"How was life do you think was back then during the war?" asked Critical Shot.

Purple replied, "Wasn't pleasant. The police entered residences and rounded up Zebra's. When war broke out xenophobia swept through Equestria like a wildfire, not even Zebra-Equestrians or Zebra citizens to Equestrians didn't help. The police and military police, even the Royal Guards went into the towns and cities and entered residential neighborhoods and rounded up Zebras, Zonies, and the spouses of Zebra's. They were sent to 'camps' but the camps were made for forced labor as the war continued there was the reduction in food and deaths from disease and malnutrition increased. Not adding the Military Police ponies used police brutality on the Zebra's. Not adding the Zebra's on the streets of random cities and towns, well they were attacked on the streets for no reason and heavily discriminated against."

Double Tap replied, "Anything else happened?"

Purple replied, "Yeah. Well in some cities there were nonviolent activists to desire Zebra-Equestrian citizens to be freed and not to be segregated and to be treated as their own citizens, not as the enemy and be arrested for crimes they didn't do. Well in cities like Manehattan, Seaddle Los Unicornia, and Chicoltgo. The protests were peaceful and followed the laws and that didn't stop the police from attacking them for no reason. But as the war continued so did the Anti-War protests and they met the same response. But after a few years at Celestia University in Manehattan, the military was called in to keep a protest under control but a rifle platoon from the 49th Infantry Division opened fire into the crowd of ponies protesting the war,"

They got done resting and got up and continued Southeast.

"Hey Lavender," said Rainy Night, "Where did you get those stories that you read off of your Pipbuck?"

Purple replied, "I Illegally downloaded them to my Pipbuck from a terminal."
