Spike T. Dragon is the Captain (and sole crew member) of the Elusive Heart, the finest mining vessel in the Sol System! OK, the ship is a bit of a wreck, but it's all his, and he loves his work. While on a routine sweep of an asteroid belt, he receives an unknown distress signal, only to discover an unconscious Changeling Drone near the wreckage. Acting slightly against his better judgement, Spike rescues the Drone, discovering his name is Thorax. But is the alien Spike was taught to hate and fear more than what he seems? And do they have a shared history?
