Chapters ???POV
"WWWWOOOOOOOOOOO." I yell with excitement as I go down the Rollercoaster. "HAHAHAAHA." the Roller Coaster suddenly makes a left turn goes up and goes in a circular way.
"Hhhmmppph" I hear my friend Michael gag as his face turns a little green.
"Don't worry dude. Rides almost over. Hang in there" I comfort him as I see the end nearing.
SSSSHHHHHRRRRREEEEECCCCHHHH the gears on the coaster cry out as it stops.
'Thank you for boarding our Rollercoaster today. We hope you enjoy the rest of your day.' The guy over the megaphone says as we exit out of the coaster.
"You good man." I ask Michael as I see him wobbly get out the coaster. He puts his thumb up as we walk together towards the right part of the amusement park.
"Hey guys!" We hear my other friend Adrian call out as he runs towards us.
"Hey man how were the Go-Karts?"
"Good but I couldn't shake Cheryl and we tied for 1st." he shrugs as I chuckle.
"Looks like you've met your match huh."
"Just you wait next time we come here she won't know what hit her. " Adrian says as I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I turn and see Michael pointing towards a churro stand near us.
"You want one?" I ask him. He nods. I pull out some money from my pocket and check it. "Alright let's get a churro then head home alright." I say as my two friends nod and we head to get some churros.
40 minutes later
We walk in a neighborhood as we talk.
"So what do you guys wanna do tomorrow." I ask my friends. Michael just shrugs as Adrian spoke up.
"I say we prank Mrs. Jerenson."
"Eh, you sure because last time we did that it didn't end too well for any of us."
"That was only because I didn't expect the dogs." Adrian says before Michael hits him in his head only hard enough to make a point. " I said I was sorry didn't I. " Adrian says as he holds the spot where he got hit.
"Alright so let's say we go with your idea. What's the escape plan."
"Okay so we bring some of your mom's steak with some peanut butter-"
"Are we escaping or planning to give those little shits a buffet?"
Ponyville POV
"Spike, I could use some help. I need to get some more gems before I run out again. Are you free?" Rarity asks
"Of course I can help. Uh, Twilight I'm going to be gone for a while, can you manage?"
"Yeah don't worry I'll be fine, actually I've been meaning to reshelve these books for a while."
"Ok Twilight I'll see you later."
"Alright bye Spike I'll see you later take care you two." Twilight says waving.
"Now come along Spike we mustn't dawdle." Rarity says heading towards the flatland with Spike following behind.
20 minutes later
"I found more gems here and here." Rarity says, marking the ground with X's as Spike digs using his claws and tail.
"That should be all I need and bit for you as payment." Rarity says looking at Spike.
"Being with you is payment enough."
"What was that darling."
"Nothing just thinking."
Soon the ground starts to rumble and out pop three dogs.
"Not you three again." Rarity says with annoyance clear in her voice.
"I'll protect you, Rarity." Spike says as he stands in front of Rarity
"What is it you brutes want."
"We only want the gems pony. Now step aside or pay the price."
"Go find your own gems diamond dogs we found these first."
"Doesn't matter this is our territory which means we can do anything we want here."
"Yeah get out of our way or you're gonna get it."
"Rarity what should we do?"
"Fine keep the gems just leave us alone."
"Good choice."one of the diamond dogs says to Rarity as third one looks to Spike "You heard your owner pet get out of our way."
Spike looks at him "Fine mineral mutt."
The diamond dog looks at him in anger. "Your gonna pay for that!" the diamond dogs says as he throws a punch at Spike only for him to dodge it and punch him right in the nose.
The diamond dog groans in pain and back peddles as he clutches his nose as the two other diamond dogs look towards Spike in anger and get ready to jump him before Rarity teleports him a good distance away and start to run.
"What are you doing Rarity I could've taken them on."
"I'm not sure you could have it would have a 3 on 2 and you saw what happened last time."
"I guess." Spike says as he looks back only to see dirt start moving towards them.
"Rarity run!" Spike said as he and Rarity started to run.
"Stay away you uncouth brutes!" Rarity yells as she blasts one of the diamond dogs who tried to grab Spike's leg.
"Nice one Rarity! We should be able to reach ponyville before they can catch up again."
Spike says as Rarity looks back to see the dogs tunneling become faster and wobbly.
"Come on almost there!" Spike cheers as one of the dirt tunnels goes in front of the others.
"What gives we almost caught white pony and purple lizard!"
"No. If we caught them the other ponies would hear and interfere. We can't afford to be reckless." The diamond dog says as the others grumble and one punches the ground. "Worry not brothers we will get another chance but for now we head home."
At Carousel Boutique
Spike closes the door behind Rarity as she catches her breath.
"That was too close to Rarity. We should try and find a new gem farm."
"We can't Spike."
"Why not? It's getting too dangerous to go there. The first time they let me go and I was able to rescue you with the help of the girls, this time we got lucky we can't keep going there."
"Since when is a little danger going to keep my brave prince away." Rarity says to Spike who has a blush struck on his face before shaking his head.
"Rarity." he says as he stares at her in her eyes as sweat starts to form on her forehead.
"Fine. The real reason I can't give it up is because when I got my cutie mark I was pulled in that direction and I feel as though giving it up would also be giving up a piece of me." she says looking at Spike with puppy eyes.
'So that's why…. If it's that important to her' he mentally said "Alright but if we're going back there we need back up."
Rarity jumps in happiness and hugs Spike as he blushes profusely. " Rarity?"
"Yes Spike."
"Could you please let me go."
Rarity smirks as she starts to let him go. "But of course darling." As she struggles to hold in her laughter as she looks Spike's furious blush.
Everfree POV
A cloaked pony looks unto the town of ponyville.
"So this is where the princess's pet and her friends are. " The unknown pony says scoffing.
"Hey. Remember why we're here. You have your orders and I have mine don't mess up again, alright?"
The pony ignores his words and starts walking towards ponyville groaning the second pony followed.
Rose is walking in a dark hallway and chittering could be heard all around.
"What the hell." Rose says as he continues down the hallway looking around.
Rose eventually makes it to a fork and he feels he has to continue the same way almost as though something was guiding him. A voice that doesn't use words. He stops at a door lined with barbed wire and a lock on the handle. He decides to ignore the door and tries to walk away but he always ends up back at the door no matter which way he went.
"Why are you so important?" He asks while looking at the door when suddenly a new door pops up. This one has an oak door with no barbed wire and no lock. Rose looks at it and almost grabs the handle but decides not too. As soon as he removes his hand the door starts to bleed from the top. The blood turned into words reading 'Turn back now' then 'if you don't you'll regret it' before falling to the ground."
This time though the door has a bloody hand print in the middle of it. Around the hand there are bloody paw, claw, talon, fin and a few prints that he can't make out all over it that then turn into a message that reads 'LAST CHANCE BOY! OPEN THE DOOR!!' Naturally Rose backs away from the door. "No thanks." Rose says to the door sternly it then explodes into smoke and when the smoke cleared all that was left was a key that had engraved in it. 'Thank you'.
'What the fuck?' Rose thought as he looked at the locked door before approaching it with the key at which point the barbed wire covering the door melted and all that's left was the lock. Rose uses the key on the lock and the door suddenly opens wide and Rose is sucked into it.
Michael POV
I cover my eyes because of the bright light that the door emits as I'm sucked into it. All I could think was 'this is one weird dream'. I then see a cyan shadow but it's transparent and glitchy. ' A..ou..to...Help...? ' I jumped at the way it spoke. "What are you?"
Adore's POV
'..lp..them!' it shouted this time. 'This is getting me nowhere.' I thought as I walked up to the cyan shadow and as I reached out my hand to grab it tentacles sprouted from it and slowly moved to my hand.
Third POV
As the tentacles slowly move towards their hands. "Fuck it" they said before they suddenly dive their hands into the shadow and a white light explodes. They wake up with a jump.

"I did it." I say to my friend as he looks to me with confusion on his face.
"What did you do?" he asks me as I start laughing.
"I got the cavalry." I responded 'although they did get more than I meant to give.' I thought as my expression turns grim 'What was that interference? This changes things.' I though as I stood up. " Alright come on, we gotta prepare." I tell my friend as him and I go into a room.
Afternoon the next day : Rose POV
"I'm telling you I know what I saw and felt." I tell her.
"But you were dreaming right."
"Yeah, but that's beside the point."
"Nuh uh you dreamt it so it couldn't have been real."
I just sigh at her antics. "Fine don't believe me." I walk off as she sticks her tongue at me.
I start heading towards the cafeteria where I see my friends. "Hey guys how have you been?"
"A bit sore but pretty good." Adore says as
Michael sticks his thumb up.
"I had one of the strangest dreams I've ever had."
They both look at me with questioning looks on their faces. "What happens in your dream."
"Well I wake up in a dark hallway and after a while I come across a door lined with barbed wire and has a lock. Then I see another door this one has nothing on it and I can open it but I don't and started to-" I'm interrupted by Adore.
"Bleed." He says as I look at him with a shocked look. " How did you know?"
"I had a similar dream. I didn't open the second door and it bled like you said and it told me that I had one more chance to get out but I refused it and it turned into a key." I look at him dumbfounded.
I look at Michael "Did you have the same dream?" He nods his head 'I used the key to unlock the locked door and I was sucked inside before seeing a cyan shadow and it saying something about help.' he signs.
"That's very weird. What do you think it means?" I ask them
"It means it wanted us to help whoever that cyan shadow was talking about about."
"Alright but who would that be? I mean the cyan shadow didn't give us much to go off of."
"True but that doesn't mean he won't come back."
"You think he'll be in our dreams again."
"Exactly."
"I guess that could happen. What do you think Michael."
'I don't know, but I want to see where this goes. I wonder if we'll be transported to another world with powers. '
"If that happens I'll give you 20 bucks." Adore says with a slight chuckle.
'Bet.'
Ponyville POV
The unknown pony entered Sugar Cube Corner with the bell above the door jingle alerting the pink cashier and the front desk.
An audible gasp could be heard from the pink pony and she cartoonishly jumps in the air. "I've never seen you before so you must be new. Hi I'm Pinkie Pie. Questions, what kinda cake do you like, when's your birthday, where did you come from, ok so your gonna tune me out…"
'I will kill you and your friends. Mark my words but not yet.'
"And that's how Deadpool, The Mask and I saved the universe." Pinkie finishes up her story and turns to the unknown pony.
"That's really interesting but I must get going so can I get the chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles." The unknown pony asks Pinkie.
"Of course. Will that be all? Oh and please come by later today I'll have your party ready by then." Pinkie says with a heartwarming smile.
'Tch.' The unknown pony thought before saying "Yeah that will be all and I'll be sure to come by." he said with a smile.
'Weird what was that?' Pinkie thought as the unknown pony paid for his food and left.
Marketplace POV
Derpy flys through the air looking around with her mail satchel. 'I should get Mom a gift for her birthday but what should I get her.' she thinks as she spaces out and doesn't realize she's falling.
A alabaster stallion with bright green eyes is walking down the path looking at vendors and their stalls. 'I don't need to eat food but I can. I wonder what it'll taste like.' He thinks as he looks into his pouch and sees a good amount of bits. 'This should be enough to get me a couple nights and food but I'll need to find some work.' He thinks while sighing. 'The sooner we finish this the better.' He sighs mentally when suddenly something crashes into him and he lays down on the ground unsure of what just happened.
When he comes to, he sees a grey pegasus saying something over and over but he can't make it out. "Sorry, sorry ,sorry sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I didn't watch where I was going and I was thinking about something then I started falling and I'm really sorry." Derpy says to him then looks away waiting to get yelled at. The stallion stands up and looks at her and offers her his hand to get up. She just stares at his hand for a while then shakes her head and grabs his hand and gets up.
He sighs "Just be careful next alright. You could've been hurt." He says as he starts to walk away. Derpy just stares in disbelief. 'He didn't yell at me?' Derpy thinks as she quickly catches up to him. She just looks at him In curiosity.
'Why is she just staring at me?' He thinks as he continues to walk. They walk in silence until the stallion breaks it "Why are you following me?"
"You were nice." Derpy bluntly answers.
"How does me being nice explain you following me?"
"Not many ponies are nice to me, if any." Derpy says dejectedly.
'Huh I thought everyone in Equestria was nice to one another.' "Why aren't they nice to you. Did you do something bad?"
"If you count messing up the mail, dropping furniture, damaging public property and messing up the weather then yeah."
"Quite the klutz huh?"
"Yeah but."
"But they stll keep you around no?" He said looking at her questioningly.
"I..I guess." She said dejectedly
"Then i guess they still have a use for you."
"Yeah... Yeah you're right! Maybe i can make up for it." Derpy said hopefully and bit of joy. "What's your name?"
"My name? …. My name is Mourning Daze, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you Morning Daze, I'm Ditzy Doo but many ponies just call me Derpy."
"...I think I'll just call you Bubbles instead. How about it?"
Bubbles smiles and nods. "I like Bubbles. Thanks." As she grabs his hand and pulls him. "Come with me." Daze slightly grimaced before matching her speed.
A few days later: Rose's POV
Rose walks down the street with his friends "So what's the plan for today?"
"I don't know maybe go to the arcade again?"
'Maybe the park?' Micheal suggests before hearing. 'The time has come for your arrival.' All three of them look around trying to find the person who said it before they start to blackout.
"G-guys" Rose holds out his hand for the other as they grab it and fall unconscious.
Rose's POV
Michael, Adore and I wake up in a Japanese style house with a demon like mask on display below a katana. We walk around for a little before a TV lights up with static and we see the cyan shadow.
"Y-you head out." The cyan shadow said glitching.
"What?" Adore asks confused.
"B-be careful of th-." The TV suddenly turns to static as we just look at each unsure of what to do. Michael stands up and goes towards the door and opens it. He abruptly closes it and calmly goes sit on a couch.
Adore and I just stare at each other as we see Michael just sitting there in a thinking pose. "Hey dude. You alright?"
'Look outside' he signs. We stand up unsure of what to expect. When we opened the door we saw earth. As in outer space earth we try to step outside but Michael grabbed and yanked us back in and closed the door. He then hit us both on top of our heads causing bumps to pop up. We put hands on top of the bumps and rub them as he signs. 'I said look not go into space. What the hell were you two thinking!''
"I thought I'd open and exit the door like a normal person." Adore says sarcastically, causing Michael to hit him again, making a bump appear on top of the other.
'Got anything smart to say now.' Micheal signs as Adore shakes his head.
The TV changes from static to showing a forest. "Be careful of the many dangers of the-." The TV turns to static then shows varying pictures of different animals. "...They will help you start your journey but you must find and help them first. There will be others a few of them are-*static*." The TV then shows the cyan shadow.
"Now then are you ready to start your journey."
"We heard almost none of what was played." I said deadpaning.
"Oh.... Welp we have no time to replay that video and-*static* we have to get started now the-*static* damn thing. It's worse than I thought."
"What is?"
"Find whatever is jamming it and destroy it. It's the onl-*static*." The TV cuts off and is silent. We then see the door start to glow cyan and read. 'I can't help you anymore. I've given you each gifts. Use them.' The door then opens and we are pulled in.

Daze and Bubbles are enjoying their time at the park when they see a rainbow streak make a sharp turn towards them.
'I got a bad feeling about this.' Daze says biting into his sandwich as the rainbow streak gets closer and closer to them. Before stopping suddenly in front of them revealing a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail.
"Hey Derpy, you're late for your shift." the rainbow pegasus tells Derpy causing her to pause and think. She then spits out her drink in realization.
"What I totally forgot! I'll head over there right now. I'm so sorry Daze I comple-" She turns to see Daze covered in her drink. She immediately reaches for some napkins to try to dry him off but in doing so she causes the bottle with their drink to fall and spill onto his lap. She apologizes profusely to see Daze light up his horn and dry himself off.
"Hey hey hey it's alright Bubbles." He emphasizes himself with his hands. "No harm, no foul. Either way I believe you have a job to do." He points to the pegasus.
"R-right well I see you later then." Bubbles says getting ready to leave.
"Yeah I'll see you later" Daze says waving as they start flying towards the center of ponyville. "Right then let's clean up" he starts to grab the dishes and glasses. He hears the bushes behind him start to rustle and another pony comes out.
"Hello brother." The unknown pony says with a cocky smile.
"You're no brother of mine, traitor scum."
"Sticks and stones my brother. I have come to tell you that the master wishes to proceed with the plan."
"When." Daze says facing the other way worried but maintaining a calm face.
"Well if all goes well it should start within the next few weeks. Master has already sent messages to his followers in Canterlot to start preparations for the Master's plan."
"Well thank you for telling me in advance. I will tell my partner it's almost time."
"There's no need for that."
Daze freezes grabbing a knife. "Oh please tell me why."
"The Master has deemed you a liability. Hence why he had me and a few of our brothers come to 'dispose' of you." The unknown pony says as 5 more ponies come out from the bush.
"Well how nice of you but I'm afraid I'll have to decline."
The unknown pony chuckles at his response.
"Well I'm afraid this isn't optional" he turns to the ponies. "Dispose of him but don't make a mess. I don't wish to spend more time here than we have to."
"I'm not so easy to kill you know" Daze says getting a fighting stance.
"I was hoping you wouldn't fight but one can only hope. So that's why we brought this." He turns back and holds out a violet melon shaped fruit with various swirls and curly stem on top.
Daze looks at them in shock and fear. "You wouldn't dare. We all know what that has the capability to do."
"Oh yes we do, which is why we thought we would try it here. Master didn't tell us what it could do but I'm excited to find that out aren't you brothe-." The pony sees one of his men jump in front of him. Angered he pushes him out of the way only to see a knife lodged into his throat.
"No!" Daze exclaimed while clenching his hands and shutting his eyes before opening his eyes with some hesitancy and getting back into his stance.
"Well now if you're going to play like that let's even the playing field." He takes a bite and swallows it. "Egh that was horrible but a small price for the power I now hold." He says extending his arms toward Daze as he prepares for something to happen.
Nothing seems to happen but then bubbles shoot from his hands towards Daze who dodges them. "Bubbles?… seriously that's your power." Daze looks at them struggling to not burst into laughter.
"Quiet!" He shouts at Daze as he looks at the fruit. He throws it to the ground then stomps on it. "Useless useless useless useless useless!!!" He shouts out in a rage then looks toward Daze with fear and dread in his eyes. Daze starts to walk towards them.
"Well now I think it's time we got started wouldn't you agree 'brother'. " he says in a taunting voice
"G-get away from me!" He looks to the others. "Don't just stand there you morons get him" the other ponies start to backpedal as they see Daze get nearer.
"I-I think this is above my pay grade." One of the ponies says starting to flap his wings and start flying only for a knife to embed itself in his back hitting his wing tendon as he screams in agony and falls to the ground. The others can only stare in fear as they know there's no escape.
"I'd rather die fighting than running away as a coward." One of them says getting into a fighting stance.
"Honorable but foolish." Daze says picking up the knife from the first dead body. The other ponies reluctantly get into position as they hold their weapons albeit shaking.
"G-go kill him now!" He says, shaking. The other ponies circle around Daze.
"..." Daze starts walking towards one of them.
"S-stay where you are!" The one Daze nears say as the other slowly backs away.
'Cowards that's all you guys are.' Daze thinks as he stands over one of them. "I'm surprised your master sent you guys to kill me. You guys never could do anything without one of my brothers or sisters holding your hand."
One of them growls in anger and charges. "Die!" He goes for an overhead swing but Daze dodges and grabs his head then headbutt his nose and knees him in his balls. The attacker falls over groaning in pain. Daze picks up his weapon and stabs it into the attackers legs then arms making him scream in pain. Daze turns to the others."Anyone else?"
They looked at him with fear in their eyes before he jumped to the side and behind him came a beam of bubbles which hit the last two of them sending them into trees knocking them out.
Daze looks behind him and sees the last one and starts to walk towards him. "N-no stay away!" He shouts, shooting more beams of Bubbles but each one Daze dodges and continues forward. Soon Daze stands over the last one as he just accepts his fate and gets into the bipedal position. Daze goes into the bushes and pulls out the one hurt in the wing as he screams and shouts begging to be set free. Daze knocks him out with a hit to the head and throws him to him.
"Collect your brothers and leave." Daze starts to walk away. "Oh also tell your Master I'm coming for him."
He could only stare at Daze in hatred and disgust. He grabs his brothers with his magic, mourning the one they had lost and pulls them back into the bushes.
??? POV
"C174 was successful in his fight with your sons. C174 showed mercy towards them after unintentionally killing one and rendering all but one unconscious. A personal note: The DF user and his brothers were incompetentand highly overestimated themselves." The unknown said into a scroll showing no emotion.
"Very good, continue to monitor him and report anything unusual."
"Very well. What of the rest?"
"Dispose of them we have no need for them."
"Of course." The unknown figure says as they head into the forest.
3RD POV
Bubbles and Rainbow are helping to move clouds and poof them. "Hey Derpy, were you on a date?" Rainbow says with a sly grin causing Bubbles to mess up with a cloud and crash into it.
"W-w-what do you mean Rainbow?! W-we're just friends." Bubbles almost yelled with a notable blush.
"Uh huh yeah that's totally the case. You and him definitely weren't on a picnic date in the park." She nudges her with her elbow. "C'mon tell me, what's he like?"
Bubbles lays there inside the cloud with Rainbow looking down at her. "Well he's nice to start. He's different." She looks down. "I dunno I just like to be around him."
Rainbow smiles." Seems like you him ay Bubbles." Rainbow teased.
"Please don't call me that." Bubbles responded looking at Rainbow.
"Oh and why shouldn't I." Rainbow teased with a knowing grin.
"W-well it's just he called me that so…" Bubbles blushed
"Bwahahaha see I told you you have a crush on him." Rainbow cheered as Bubble's blush became brighter. "So I'm guessing you haven't told him have you."
"No. No I haven't." Bubbles sighed dejectedly only for Rainbow to grab her arm and pull her up from the cloud.
"Well then when do you plan on telling him?"
"W-Well it's not so easy to just come out with your feelings!"
"Cmon, just tell him. It can't be that hard."
"If you had the same kind of feelings toward somepony you wouldn't be saying that so casually." Bubbles huffed and crossed her arms.
"Alright, you want to make a bet." Rainbow proposed
"What kind of bet?"
"The first pony I fall for I have to grab them and say how I feel about them but you have to tell him how you feel." Rainbow extends her hand out.
Bubbles stares at her hand and thinks hard before sighing and shaking it. "Deal."
Rainbow starts to softly chuckle before she bursts out laughing. "You forget Derpy, I'm not interested in anyone here!"
"So you plan on being an old cat mare."
"..." Rainbow just stands there mid laugh Dio pose before comically falling onto her back and going into the fetal position. Bubbles laughs at her antics and helps her up.
"Cmon Rainbow we have to finish this"
"Already want to see him again?"
Bubbles huffs and floats above the cloud before poofing it causing Rainbow to fall for a bit before she catches herself and starts to laugh.
Everfree Forest POV
Above the Everfree teleports Michael who promptly falls to the ground face first and make a comically perfect hole of himself in the ground. He stands up after the fall and starts to walk.
'Where am I?' Michael thinks to himself before moving deeper into the Everfree. After walking for what seemed like hours Michael hears what seems like howling around him before seeing wooden wolves pop out of the bushes around before biting into him. Micheal screams out in pain and falls to the ground before stopping and looking around. 'Why doesn't this hurt?' He looks to one of the wolves who was currently biting into his leg before being grabbed by Michael and having the back of its neck crushed with ease causing the wooden wolves to explode. 'Woah!' He looks to his hand covered in sap and splinters. Then to the rest of the wooden wolves who look at him in surprise and fear.
He stands up with several wolves latched onto various limbs who are just as confused as him. 'You guys wanna let go?' The wolves look all around them before they let go of his arms and legs. 'Much better. Now then I need to find my way out of here. Wherever here is.' He continues to walk into the forest while the wolves follow behind him, one even bites into his leg. Michael stumbles but then grabs onto the wolves and lifts the wolf to his face where he glares at it causing it to start sweating and looking around. 'Don't ever do that again.' He signs while angrily staring at him.
The wolf nods in agreement and Michael puts him down. As Michael continues walking the wolves keep following him, Michael chooses to ignore them for the time being and enjoys his walk through the forest. He stops suddenly causing the wolves behind him to crash into each other. Michael looks back to them and yells in shock in his head. 'You guys are made of wood!' The wolves behind him fall comically in disbelief.
"Now you notice!" The wolf in front of the pack yells out.
'Well I mean…. Wait, how do you know what I'm thinking?'
"Uh I mean woof bark woof bark bark…" Michael depans at this. The wolf stands there still as a statue as if Michael wouldn't see him if he stood still. The wolf behind him smacks him upside the head causing him to topple over with a bump on his head.
"Ugh great you blew our cover Oak." Oak lifts his paw.
"Actually you just did. I had him completely fooled with my perfect impression."
" 'No you didn't.' " both Micheal and the other wolf say/think in unison.
'Alright but back to my question, how do you know what I'm thinking?'
"Well the cats out of the bag" the wolf says before being surrounded by twigs, leaves, and branches before appearing as a 5'7 anthro wooden wolf. "Also we're called Timberwolves."
'Alright… hi I'm Michael.' Michael says, sticking his hand.
"Hi I'm Pine Tar." She says shaking his hand and the other wolves turn into their anthro versions. "We can kinda read minds. Helps us tell what our prey will do next."
'That's pretty cool. Hey, you mind telling me where I am.'
"Sure you're in the Everfree Forest. Now what are you."
'Oh I'm a human.' He responded nonchalantly causing the wolves tense and started to slowly step backwards. ' What did I say something wrong?'
"A-a human!" One of the pack members yelled out in surprise.
'Yeah and.'
"And! What do you mean and!"
"Shut it Rain!" As the two enter a yelling match Michaell goes to sit down near a pile of rocks. When he looks around he sees a small Timberwolf coming to see what's happening.
'Hello small one. What are you doing out here?' Michaell says, carefully lifting her into his lap and petting her. Oak turns to see what Michael is doing only to be horrified at the sight.
"H-hey human." Oak says slowly walking towards him.
'Yeah wassup."
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing to worry about. Now why don't you give me her." He points towards the small Timberwolf.
Micheal sees his expression and gains a devious look. 'Oh and what if I don't want to.'
"That is absolutely fine but let's pretend you did want to."
'Hhhhmmmm nah'
"Human please."
'.... fine.' Michael hands the baby Timberwolf to Oak who sighs in relief as he grabs her. Michael stands up and pats Oak's back causing him to stumble a bit before catching himself and angrily glare at him.
'Why so serious.' Michael laughs as the leaves behind start to rustle and out jumps a Timberwolf with his jaws wide open aimed at Michael's throat. Michael snatches him from the air and pins him to the ground. The Timberwolf struggles to break free from Michael's grasp and the other wolves see this and rush to help.
"Human let him go!" The commotion causes the baby to start crying
Michael doesn't respond as the wolf's face starts to turn a slight shade of blue. Oak rips Michael's mask from him causing Michael to jump up releasing the Timberwolf beneath him and cover his face with his hands. Michael turns suddenly to Oak who throws back his mask to him. Micheal catches his mask and puts it back on.
'Never Ever do that again!'
"It was either that or let you choke my friend!"
'Your friend tried to kill me!'
Oak struggles to find his words and Pine intervenes
"Alright both of you, that's enough! Michael is right for defending himself also what took you so long to get here Clover."
Clover takes deep breaths as he's surrounded with branches and leaves and then stands up.
"You guys were gone by the time I came too and some manticores came to see what was going on and I kept getting destroyed. I was able to distract one long enough for me to escape and I came here as fast as I could. I saw a giant shadow hitting Oak's back and I thought one of them got here before me."
"... They didn't follow you did they?"
"No, I made sure they couldn't." Clover turns to Michael and starts to walk towards him. Clover then sticks his wooden paw out. "Sorry I had you pegged as a Manti."
Michael smiles behind the masks and shakes Clover's hand. 'Sorry I almost killed you.'
Clover walks over to Oak "Let me hold her."
"Sure."
Clover starts to hum and sway her, starting to calm her down. "Alright now that she's calmed down. Let me ask something."
'What's on your mind?'
"Last time I saw you. You were pinned to the ground by me and my pack."
'Well to answer that right after I crushed the back of your neck. Sorry about that but after that I just stood up.'
"You just stood up, that's a good one. No but seriously, how did you get out of that?"
'I'm telling you I just stood up.'
Clover looks to Oak and Pine who sigh in defeat and nod their heads, causing Clover to start laughing and the baby follows his lead.
"I can't believe you just stood up HAHAHAA!" He puts the baby down and starts to hold his stomach. "Oh oh my stomach, that's too good." Michael gains an amused look and joins in on the laughter.
"Yeah yeah laugh it up." Oak crosses his arms and looks away.
"Aw~ don't be like that Oak"
"I'm going to go look for food!" Oak angrily stomps away as Michael and Clover laughs and Pine giggles.
After a little bit more Michael and Clover calm down and catch their breaths. "I haven't laughed like that in a while. Anyways my name is Clover. What's yours?"
'Names Michael. Pleasure to meet you.'
"Nice name also, what's that thing you're doing with your hands?"
'Hmm?... Oh I'm using sign language.'
"Sign language?"
'Yeah I use my hands to make certain shapes that represent letters and that's how I communicate.'
"Oh so it's kinda like hoof language."
'Hoof language?'
"Yeah I've seen some ponies do it. It's like your sign language but they include their hoofs to make certain beats that represent letters."
'Nice also is the-' Michael was cut off by a rumbling feeling and a series of faint barks. The other wolf's ears perk up and their eyes widen.
"Do we have enough time to get all the pups out?!"
"No, they're too close, we have to drive them off!"
'Hey what's going on?!' Michael yells out confused at their actions.
"We've got a pack of manti's heading toward us!"
'What's a Manti?'
"Well it's a-'' They hear a roar nearby. "Well you're about to find out. Get ready guys!"
The rumbling and roars get stronger as the barking stops with a loud whine while everyone looks determined as they get ready to face off with the Manti's. Suddenly Oak bursts through the tree line with him missing his right arm, broken left leg, destroyed right ear and missing lower jaw. He lands with a tumble as he recovers he looks at everyone with an apologetic look in his eyes before a pack of Manticores jump out of the tree line on top of him poofing him instantly.
Pine looks away in pain as Clover clenches his hands. The manticores look away from the shattered remains of Oak towards the rest of the Timberwolves. They lick their lips in anticipation as two of them start to circle the pack. Both parties look at each before Clover and one the Manticores howl/roar and all hell broke loose. Some of the wolves jump onto a manticore biting into it and ripping part of its hide off as it roars in pain while another Manticore with a scar over its left eye poof two of the wolves one with its paw and another with its tail.
One of the Manticores sees Michael and charges but before he could make it Clover jumped on his head and redirected him into a tree. Clover turns to Michael.
"Run!!" Michael starts to run away but he stops and looks back.
'What should I do?...... Fuck it. We've never run from a fight before, why start now huh guys!' Micheal bursts out laughing before charging back into the fight and jump kicking one the Manticores through a tree and causing it to dig into the ground a bit. 'Woah I knew I was strong but no-' Michael is interrupted mid thought by a different manticore knocking him down in surprise. 'Right there's more of you!' He thinks as he struggle against it.
Clover turns away from the dead manticore to see Michael pinned by a manticore. He rushes to save him but is astonished by Michael's feat of strength when he not only starts to push the manticore off him but starts to lift it up.
The manticore flails his paws in an attempt to get out Michael's grasp but is unsuccessful when Michael throws him into two other manticores causing them to fall down and struggle to get up. Michael looks on with a determined and happy expression behind the mask. Clover grins and releases a loud howl which encourages the rest of the wolves as he regroups with Michael.
Clover and Michael exchange a look before the scare eyed manticore roars and stands in front of Michael.
"He wants to challenge you Michael."
'Huh why?'
"He says that you look like a worthy challenge."
'What me?'
"You did knock out a manticore then throw another into 2 more."
'I guess *sigh* fine but tell him on one condition. He and his pack must leave and never come back." Clover translates. Scar eye responds with a nod.
"Well there you have it Michael." Clover says as he jumps back into his pack as the manticores and wolves stop their fighting to spectate.
Scare eye roars at Michael. "What are you? I don't think I've seen one of your kind in these forests." Clover translates.
'I'm a human you see.' Scar eye stares at him in shock and surprise.
"A human huh I've heard the legends of your kind but I've never seen one till now. It'll be an honor to take your life."
'I don't think that's gonna happen.'
"We shall see but may I ask what is it you fight for."
'Currently, I don't know but everyone finds out sooner or later in life.'
"Well said human but enough talk. We fight now!" Scar starts off with a roar before pouncing on Michael only for him to roll out of the way and barely react to the outstretched tail of the beast and jump back to make distance. Scar eye grins before starting run towards Michael who slides below Scar and grabs his tail and starts to pull. Scar looks at him before lifting Michael off the ground. Michael continues to struggle with the tail before noticing that he's no longer on the ground.
'Fuck.' He thinks calmly before being smashed into the ground over and over and then is tossed into several trees. 'Ugh how am I not dead?' He looks himself over before dodging the incoming manticore and backflipping away but fails to land it and falls on his stomach. Scar takes advantage of this and lands on top of Michael pinning him and stabbing his stinger into him. Scar gets off of Michael as the wolf's look on in sadness and manticores get ready to fight again. Scar is about to roar triumphantly before he feels something grab his leg he looks down and sees Michael holding onto his back leg.
"Don't struggle human you've lost."
Michael grabs onto Scar with his other arm and slowly lifts himself up. He shakily stands in front of Scar before pulling back his arm and punching Scar in his nose, sending the Manticore skidding across the ground through multiple tree and into a boulder cracking it upon impact.
'The fights barely begun.' Michael then charges the Manticore and jumps towards him and try to punch him but Scar dodges out of the way. The boulder where he was shatters into pieces and Michael stands there and turns to the manticore who roars defiantly. The two of them face off before locking hands/paws each trying to push the other back before Michael head buts him and Scar stabs Michael in the stomach causing both parties to back off and enter a staring contest each trying to intimidate the other.
Michael breaks it by slowly closer to Scar. Scar raises his tail and strikes quickly towards Michael who catches it with the stinger going into the gaps between his fingers. Michael quickly gets a good grip before tugging and pulling the tail. Scar puts his claws into the dirt trying to secure himself but Michael starts to drag him and gains momentum suddenly Michael has Scar spinning around in the air by his tail.
'So long gay Bowser!' Michael yells before throwing Scar deep into the forest and a small dust cloud could be seen in the distance. Michael turns around to see everybody gaping jaws.
"Suuggeee!" All the Timberwolves yelled out with their eyes turning to stars. The manticores start running towards the spot where Scar landed. The Timberwolves start to surround Michael and shower him with complements and questions.
'Alright one at a time please'
Ponyville POV
Daze walks all over Ponyville before stopping in front of a store. He walks inside ringing the bell above the door alerting the cashier of a customer.
"Hello there sir, anything I can help you with?"
"Yeah actually. Do you guys have any rubber stuff?"
"Yes actually its on the fifth row."
"Thanks." Daze proceeds to the fifth where he finds thick rubber gloves, boots, hats and ponchos. "Hey, do you guys have glass or gold for sale."
"We sadly don't sadly although the store next to us does and about gold I doubt there's a store which sells it."
"Alright then we'll take all this." He puts 3 of everything onto the desk.
"Alright then that will come to a total of 40 bits." Daze puts 40 bits on the desk and takes his items. "Thank you and come again."
"Alright now for the glass and I have a different idea for the gold." Daze proceeds to buy three glass panes and goes home.
Daze digs a thin small hole in his backyard and puts a large number of bits into a pot and lights a large fire under it. "This is going to take a while."
Time skip
"God that took forever but now that I have it done all I have to do now hide this in the Everfree." Daze lifts the items with his magic and takes them into the Everfree. He walks for a while before spotting a clearing and hiding his stuff in pre dug holes surrounding and in the clearing. "Soon." Daze teleports himself back to his house and goes to sleep.
Chapter 4: *Fwoosh*
In the middle of nowhere Rose appears out of thin air and falls into a puddle of mud. He stands up from the mud and starts to clean the mud off but it smells off.
"Just my luck. Where am I?" Rose turns and sees what looks like the outlines of some gates not far from him. "Maybe they've got some answers. Hey guys you alr-." Rose looks around him to see that neither of his friends spawned with him. "Hey guys! Where are you!" Rose yells out hoping that they were nearby. He starts to hear noises behind him. He turns around to see a group of figures but can't see them fully because they were standing in front of a setting sun. They stand there unmoving. "Hey do you guys know where I am and have you seen my friends." He calls out to the unknown figures blocking the sun with his hand but all he gets as a response is a whooshing sound followed with a slight pain in his arm and leg. He looks down to see two darts as his vision grows dark and he collapses.
"Alright help me lift him onto the sled." One of them says heading towards Rose followed by two others. They lift him up and start to carry him towards the town.
"What are we going to do with him? Also what is he."
"I don't know but he's not from around here. I can say that for sure but I swear I've heard a description of him before."
"Human." The group turns around facing the back where there was a small dragon standing there frozen in shock.
"What'd you just say?"
"He's a human. My parents told me stories but I've never seen one. No one has in so long but one just appears in front of our town this has to be a sign guys. We can win." The dragon cheers while jumping into the air.
"Don't get your hopes up kid, we don't know what he'll do."
"Trust me if we can get him on our side we'll win this for sure and we have to be on the lookout. You heard him he has friends."
"You're right that we should be on the lookout but not for the same reason." The teenage dragon turns to face Rose.
"If the stories my parents told me are anything to go off of, if we can convince him to help us we'll win." He says confidently as Rose stirs awake.
"Ugh my head hurts like hell, what the hell was I hit with?" All the creatures stop walking and turn to face Rose as he faces them with an angered expression. "What the hell is your deal dude. Fucking hitting me with whatever that was."
The one in front of the group was first to react by grabbing his blow gun and aiming at Rose but Rose rolls out of the way and jumps to his feet using one of them as a meat shield. He wraps his arm around their neck and sees a dagger grabbing it and pointing it against their back. "Put the blow gun down, I promise you I'm faster." Everyone stays still as a statue before the teenage dragon speaks up.
"Hey no need to get all stabby right?" He takes a few slow steps forward but Rose softly pushes it drawing a trickle of blood causing the teenage dragon to stagger in his movements and walk backwards with his hands up. "Alright Alright you've made your point."
One the others speaks up. "How about this human we will all put our weapons down-" He motions for the one in front of the group to stand down. Begrudgingly he lowers his weapon. "-And we talk about this inside because I promise you we don't want to get caught outside when night arrives."
Rose slowly begins to lower his dagger but a sudden howl interrupts him and he turns to the source and is greeted with a giant dire wolf. "Shit they're out early we need to get to town now go!!" The group hearing this start running full speed not bothering to look back. Rose before they had a chance to get too far grabbed onto the sled as they started going faster. He looked back as a pack of Dire wolf's chases after them and started to catch up. He looks forwards and sees the gates of the town growing closer he then hears a horn next to him he turns and sees the dragon blowing into a dried elephant trunk. He then turns back to the gates of the town start to open and can barley see what he thinks are archers readying their bows before cascading a sea of arrows above them. His eyes follow the arrows and sees them hit the wolf's killing some of them but the captain and the other ones shake them off but are considerably slowed.
"Come on, we can make it!! The gates are right there!! JUST A LITTLE MO-" His speech is cut short when a dire wolf jumps from a hill next to them onto the sled. "SHIT!" He looks around but sees everyone preoccupied. "FUCK ALRIGHT ILL DEAL WITH IT JUST KEEP MOVING!!" He jumps onto the sled and stands face to face with the beast and takes out his weapon's twin shorts swords. "Come on beauty, just you and me. I'M GONNA MOUNT YOUR HEAD ON MY WALL!!" He charges it impaleing it in its shoulder but in exchange gets bit in his. He uses his other sword to impale it in the stomach but the beast's thick hide prevents any fatal wounds and his weapons are stuck in it. The dire wolf bits harder and tries to use its body weight to pin him down. They wrestle for dominance but the wolf wins out and has him pinned on the ground it raises its head and howls horrifically announcing its victory over its prey.
Rose looks on with horror before breathing in and breathes deeply before looking at them "Fuck it." He then climbs onto the top of the sled. "OVER HERE MUTT!!" He draws its attention to him before it could kill the one below. "Yeah that's it, come on." He throws his dagger at it hitting his eye the wolf's whines in pain and paws at his face taking the dagger out but at the same time it's own eye it then charges him with a howl filled with rage. Rose dodges the first attack, almost falling off but he catches himself. He turns around only to see the wolf already on top him he lifts his arms over his head preparing for his end to come in a painful display of blood and howls but it never comes he moves his arms and sees the wolf slowly moving through the air as in slow motion he turns to the other and sees the same thing all of them moving at the same speed. He turns back to the wolf and walks around it and as soon he's behind it it launches forwards like a rocket surprising him. He feels the rush of air again and almost falls off but before he hits the ground a hand catches his. He opens his eyes to see the one who was pinned holding tightly to his hand. Rose looks behind him to see the wolf tumbling toward his pack mates who either jump over it or run around undeterred. Rose is pulled back onto the sled where he can see the gates getting closer and closer.
"Thanks for the save!"
"No thank you. Come on, get ready, there might be more." Rose nods and stands up readying himself. As they near the gates they can hear the sounds of horns getting louder and louder. Rose and the captain turn to see wolf's running alongside them trying to bite and the ones pulling the sled but missing. Rose looks through the sled and grabs a spear before throwing it towards the wolf missing but tripping it causes it to lose the group. The captain jumps onto the dire wolf on his side and steers it into a boulder and jumps back to the sled before it hits it. He grabs the edge of the sled struggling to lift himself before Rose helps him up. They see more dire wolf's catching up to them as they ready for their arrival, all of a sudden arrows impale them in the legs causing them to fall. The pack leader sees this and slows himself while howling and then stops making all the others stop as well; they then turn around and start running the other way.
"HAHA THEY'RE TURNING TAIL AND RUNNING AWAY. WE'VE WON BOYS AND GIRLS!!" He cheers alongside the others and Rose. They see Gates in front of them.
"Hey question." Rose asks
"Yes?"
"How do we stop!"
"... That's the neat part. We don't." He says with a grin that could rival the Grinch's on his face as Rose just stares at him with a twitchy eye.
"Fuck me."
The captain pulls some pins on the side of the sled and heads to the front of the sled. "FULL SPEED AHEAD HAHAHAHAHA!!" Rose holds onto the sled for dear life as the runners go even faster. They go past the gate entrance in blur but then they start to fall and before Rose can see what's going on the runners remove their harnesses and continue to fall. As this happens the one on top of the sled with Rose laughs like a madman before grabbing Rose and ripping him off the sled and running towards the end of the sled before jumping off and letting go of Rose. Rose looks below him in horror preparing for the end before hearing a splash next to him and then feeling a force beneath and then feeling weightless he looks around and sees the runners and the captain swimming to the surface he follows them and as they surface so does the sled with a giant raft beneath it keeping it afloat. Rose hears roaring laughter next to him and sees the rest of the group having fun in the water as the captain is brought to Rose before bursting into laughter. "You should have seen yourself, you looked hilarious!!"
Rose gained an angered expression. "The hell is wrong with you people!"
"Too many to list right now." The captain and the one carrying him just float there in the water.
Rose just groans and starts to swim towards the raft before climbing on top and laying down. "The fuck is going on?" He mutters to himself.
Time Skip
Rose and the others left the hole they fell into as Rose looks around seeing the hole being recovered behind them with a giant trapdoor. He's then led to a giant stone building in the middle of town. He goes through a maze of doors, corridors and halls before arriving at a giant room with a circular wooden table in the middle with chairs surrounding it. Rose is seated on the opposite end of an unknown figure shrouded in shadows. Rose is about to speak but the unknown figure interrupts.
"Who and what are you? Also what are you doing here?" Their voice deep and commanding.
"Well I'm Rose. I'm a human and I have no clue what I'm doing here."
The shadowy figure's expression couldn't be seen but Rose could feel the shadowy stare.
"I don't believe you. The humans are so old that no one even knows if they existed or not."
"How do I prove to you I'm a human? I mean look at me, there's not much I can do."
"There's nothing right now that can prove you aren't just a changeling or a skinny hairless ape but for now I want to focus more on why you were outside our walls and how you got here."
"I just spawned outside not really having a choice and I decided that I would come here in order to ask for some help."
"What did you want to ask?"
Rose's face changes from a slight smile to a serious expression. "I needed to know if you had seen my friends. They're humans as well. I'm positive we all came here but I'm starting to guess we all spawned in different locations."
"I see. Hmm this is quite the predicament… unfortunately for you you 'spawned' in one of the worst places you could've because we're in dire wolf territory and it's nearing winter."
"fucken hell-" Rose holds his face in one of his hands before shaking his head. "-Goes to show what my luck is huh."
"Don't worry we'll give you shelter for the winter seeing as though you saved one of my runner groups. As for your friends I'll tell my runners to keep an ear and eye out for anything."
"Thank you. If there's a way I could help I'd be willing."
"Actually there is head over to the daycare. It's a giant building with the words daycare written on the sign. I'm sure the kids could use some entertainment."
The room is silent for a few moments before Rose spoke up. "You mean right now?"
"Yes right now. I'll ask you more questions later."
"Um alright I'll go right ahead." Rose leaves the room.
"You sure we should trust him around the kids."
"No we shouldn't not just yet but I trust the attendants to keep an eye on him. I heard from a runner that he was the one to save your captain. Is this true?"
"Yes, during our return we were caught off guard when the wolves came out earlier than we expected. We were able to get within the archers range before anything happened but one of them jumped onto our sled and our captain was forced to fight it since we were all preoccupied. Unfortunately the wolf had gotten the upper hand on him and pinned him. He was about to die when the human intervened by drawing its attention and tricking it to jump off the sled but something was off on how he did it."
"How so?"
"When he was leading the wolf to the edge the wolf leaped towards him and he was caught off guard but when the wolf was about to get him he suddenly appeared behind the wolf as if he had teleported but that's impossible he doesn't have a horn."
"I wouldn't say that just yet sergeant as I said the humans are old and mysterious race we have no written documentation on them and anyone who might have even seen one are dead. I would like a written report on everything you and your team saw it could prove useful."
"Yes sir."
"Enough about him for now. What about my message to the others?"
"We were able to push through and deliver it."
"Any casualties?"
"Two. Crash and Float. It's becoming more and more dangerous sir they're catching on."
"I'm sorry for your loss sergeant but we must persevere or their sacrifice will have been for nothing. Have you informed their family's?"
"I was on my way to that now sir."
"Don't worry I'll do it. You've done enough for today sergeant but more importantly what did they say?"
"Only two agreed to support us."
"Damn it this isn't good. Did they say why?"
"Yes they don't think we can win anymore so they are torn between surrendering or feeding themselves to the wolves."
"Has the situation truly become so dire…. Damn it... Sergeant, I need you to have your captain report to me after he's recovered enough. I have a new mission for him."
"Sir yes sir."
"That is all for now you may go." The sergeant nods and exits the room.
"I'm going to slaughter those damn monsters." The shadowy figure says as he grips the table hard enough to start cracking it.
Outside the daycare
"Looks like this is the place. I'm still in awe that I'm in a different universe… I think. Oh well I just hope my friends are ok." Rose enter the building and one of the attendants greets him.
"Welcome what brings… sorry if I sound rude but who and what are you?"
'I feel as though I'm gonna get asked this alot.' Rose mentally sighs. "I'm a human and my name's Rose."
"Huh, I've never seen a human before but another question what brings you here because I'm sure I've never seen you before."
"I was sent here to help entertain the children."
"Ooooohhhhh welp Alright come on in you've got a lot to do."
"Ok?" Rose scratches his head as he follows her. ' What's going on? Shouldn't they be more I don't know weary, cautious?'
The Attendant brings him to a door with the words 'Staff only' labeled on it. "Alright go in there and get changed. There should be some extra clothes in the back you can have."
Rose nods and proceeds to go inside and change before coming back out where the attendant was waiting for him and then led him to a room with children and other attendants inside. They wave at them, glancing at Rose before returning to their own business. Rose is led to the back of the room where a small group of children were playing.
"Hello children, can I have your attention please." The children stop before one speaks up.
"I don't know, can you?"
"... Anyway this is one of the new attendants. He is going to be watching over you 6 for now. I would like for you guys to not give him too much trouble ok." The kids nod their heads as the attendant leaves, leaving him with the kids who are just staring at him in wonder.
"What are you, mister."
"I'm a human. My name is Rose. So what are you guys doing right now?"
"Well we were playing tag with each other, want to join?"
"Sure I'll join. So who's it?" After he said that the rest of the group dispersed except for one confusing Rose. "...Wait…Damn."
"Well mister you're it." The kid said right before touching Rose. "No tagbacks." He then just walked away.
'Well…Guess I'm going to need to find the others now.' Rose stood up and walked around the area listening for any of them.
Attendants POV
I grab a paper and pen and start to watch him through a glass orb. 'He doesn't seem all that harmful at first glance but going to need to keep watching him to know more' I watch him find one of the children but before he can tag them they run off, he chases after him but trips over a toy cart and the kid gets away. I start to giggle at him as he stands back up and tries to find him again but to no avail. One of the kids throws a ball near him as he goes to investigate the children, get past him and hide where he had just checked. 'Good job children.' I mentally applaud them. The human returns and continues on his way not noticing the children. As I'm watching another child throws a ball at his head, he quickly checks around but the child already hid. They sneak around him before putting a cart in his way without him noticing. He steps on and it starts to roll, taking him by surprise. He flails his arm around trying to regain his balance but as he's about to fall all I could see was a blur as he stood upright right next to where he was moments before.
'Fascinating!' I continue to write down all that I've seen so far and kept watching.
Rose POV
'Jesus that's a rush but what the hell even was that? Hmm maybe it was because of that cyan thing. Alright let's think about what's going on. First we encountered a cyan thing that wanted us to help these people, then it appeared in our dreams, then teleported us to a Japanese style house and finally teleported the three of us to different locations. Fuck I'm not sure if we even spawned on the same planet for all I know they're somewhere completely else. *Deep breath* Alright Alright don't panic for now I need to focus on myself and getting stronger and more control over what I believe is my power…. Maybe it slows down everything aro-.
3rd POV
Rose was just standing there lost in thought as one of the kids threw a ball at him knocking him out of his stupor. He looked around him but found nothing. He stood there thinking again before he extended his arms and started to strain them. The children stared at him confused at what was happening. As he put more effort in, a feeling arose in his arms.
"Tag now your it."
"Aw you caught me."
"Yeah, now get going. Try to find your friends." The kid started walking away as Rose looked for a place that could hide him.
( Late at night )
A pony could be seen sitting down on a boulder and pulling out a small box like object
"*krk* Hey boss. Scout reporting in. *krk*"
"*krk* Hello Scout, what do you have to report? *krk"
"*krk* The rallying call the chief tried sending was a failure. Turns out the surrounding tribes are losing hope and are trying to decide if they should off themselves or surrender but if we're being honest, offing themselves would be the better option here, also the chief is going to do something drastic to show they still have hope and try to rally them together. Should I help them or do you want me to do some good old fashioned sabotage? *krk*"
"*krk* Boss said it's imperative that the rebellion is a success so you should help them but other than that anything else happening? *krk*"
"*krk* Nothing other than that. I still wish you guys would send him here. *krk*"
"*krk* You and I both know how that would end. We'll if that's it then goodnight and remember to report any changes. *krk*"
"*krk* Understood sir goodnight, over and out. *krk*"....'Now then how did a human get here and can he get out?' A green fire surrounds the pony as he disappears.
Chapter 5: *ROAR*
Adore appeared above a thicket and landed on top of them.
"Hey guys you alright."
….
"Guys?" Adore turns around to see nothing except a sea of green leaves. "What the? Hey guys come on out, this isn't funny!"
….
"Shit. Guess I've gotta find them." Adore walks along the leaves as he's baffled at how they're supporting his weight. "I'm getting nowhere just walking." He looks down and parts some of the leaves but is greeted with more and more leaves. He continues and finally sees dirt. "AH HA." He shouted triumphantly as he digs through the dirt and falls in. "Why is it so dark in here?" He looks around and sees that he's in a tunnel but he can't see anything besides where the light is coming in from the hole. "I've got a bad feeling about this." He walks into the darkness and doesn't find anything for a while before he hears a clicking sound. He's about to walk towards before he stops himself and digs into his pocket pulling out his phone. He turns it on, blinding himself for a moment before he turns on the flashlight and points it towards the sound. "What the fuck." He muttered quietly as he quickly turned it off and started heading back the way came only to bump into something hard and dropping his phone. Adore quickly searches for his phone before grabbing it and turning on the flashlight revealing and blinding a giant ant who was hovering above him. He quickly gets up and runs away pointing his flashlight in front of him.
"Shit shit shit shit. How the fuck are there giant ants here!" Adore yelled out in fear before he arrived where he first came in only to see that a few ants were working on sealing it. "Shit!" Adore turned around and bolted back in the direction he came from. After a while he stops to catch his breath. 'OK think I'm trapped in an ants nest but they're all fucking massive… yeah I'm screwed if I don't find a way out.' Adore takes a few deep breaths before walking along the tunnel cautiously.
Adore reached an intersection where he heard clicking noises. He couldn't tell where it was coming from due to it being distant and an echo distorting it. 'I'll try my luck with the right one.' Adore continued down his path before reaching another intersection. He chose his path again and again and again and again. 'Alright!! This is ridiculous! How big is this fucking place. You know I should just dig why didn't I think of that before!' Adore mentally berated himself before proceeding to dig straight down.
The clicking noises could be heard getting louder and louder as he could see light starting to peek through the small cracks. He was almost through when something grabbed the back of his shirt and threw him back. 'No! I was so close!' Adore looked up to see a giant ant blocking his escape route. 'Fine! Since you want to fight so badly.' Adore charged the ant and tried to punch its eye but his arm was caught by the pincers digging into the flesh causing Adore to cry out in pain flailing his arm fighting to get free. The ant swung its head around swinging the human with it smashing him against the wall over and over before throwing him again.
Adore stared at the unmoving ant before something dawned on him. He quickly pulled his phone put and activated the flashlight blinding the ant. As the ant flails around Adore quickly pushes past it using it back as a trampoline jumping off it and directly towards the spot he dug. He swung down towards it, breaking through making a hole big enough for him to fall through. "HA HA Suck it ant!" He exclaimed triumphantly before looking down and realizing that while he was falling he couldn't see the bottom.
'Holy shit!' Adore looks around him as trees bigger than mountains surround him on all sides, animals as big as skyscrapers climb and jump all around them. A vine catches him giving him a chance to contemplate the situation he's in. '...' he collapses onto his back looking to the treetops seeing the giant series of dirt tubes… "Dear God. I'm fucked like actually truly fucked! H-how the fuck do I find my way out? How do I find them? H-how- '' Adore's rant is interrupted when hears a large snort behind him. Terrified he slowly turns around freezing when he sees a giant head. Neither of them move before the creature turns its head and chews on the leaves next to the vine.
"O-okay so you p-probably only eat plants w-which is a good thing for me." Adore breathes deeply before regaining his composure. Adore looks around before sighing. 'Looks like it's my only way… fuck… There's no other way seriously…. Fine.' Adore prepares himself to jump but before he can a giant bird lands on a branch near him and spots him before screeching and soaring towards him. Not having much choice, Adore leaps off the vine but before he can reach the creature's head it moves at the last second causing him to plummet towards the bottom. Adore turns and sees the giant bird dive bombing towards him with its talons at the ready and getting faster and faster.
'Fuck fuck fuck!!!' Adore spirals in the air nauseating him. As his face turns green the bird prepares to grab him but before it can Adore throws up and the vomit hits the bird in its eyes knocking it off course right past Adore crashing into the giant creature's torso dazing the bird. Adore lands on the bird and hangs on for dear life as the bird shakes violently trying its best to get rid of the vomit.
The bird screeching in anger looks around desperately to locate Adore while Unbeknownst to it Adore was clinging to it and doing his best not to scream. After a while the bird gave up the search and started to fly through the air. 'Where are we going?' Adore looked up and saw that they were soaring through the air. 'It's actually pretty nice when looking at it from above.' Adore enjoys the sight before a bright light blinds him causing him to cover his eyes. 'What the hell.' Adore looks around, and sees that they've broken through the forest and now sees a giant flatland with the occasional tree and lakes. 'It's beautiful.'
Adore looks around and breathes deeply before they land at a tree. 'I wonder why he stopped.' His answer came when he heard a loud cracking and squish sound. 'I guess he's eating. I wonder what it is.' Adore climbs higher on the bird before looking and seeing a giant beetle with its shell cracked open and the bird eating it. 'Huh this is a weird place. Thank God I have a moment to rest.'
After the bird was done eating it started to collect branches and twigs and puts them together. Adore wakes up startled but calms down after he realizes what is going on. Adore just watches as the bird makes its nest and settles into it. After making sure the bird was asleep Adore carefully climbs to the top of the nest before sitting down. 'Michael, Rose wherever you guys are I hope you guys are okay. I promise I'm going to find you both and make sure you're alright.' Adore turns to the asleep bird. "And you're going to help me."
Elsewhere
"Come on move it we don't have all day!"
"Yeah yeah I know don't rush me!"
"I wouldn't have to rush you if you did your job right!"
"Alright alright!"
Mechanical whirling drowned them out as a drill quickly struck the ground and went down. The surrounding men started to run around moving equipment and running tests. One of the men went inside a building before quickly shutting the door and sitting at his desk.
'This is a waste of our skills. A waste of time! What do they expect to find here, this island is nothing but death wherever you head. I lost 10 good men on our way here! Dammit!' The door quickly opened and closed when the one standing at the desk turned and faced the other taking a deep breath. "What is it?"
"One of our drills has broke sir-." *CRACK*. He jumps back quickly while looking at his boss, shocked to see a hole in the wall.
*Deep breaths*" Apologies, I'm just infuriated at why they would send us here for some make-believe story meant to scare foals."
"May I ask what are we supposed to find here?"
"Some giant gate they didn't give me much other than that."
"That's ridiculous there's been nothing here since forever.
"Exactly that's why I'm pissed off they sent us here."
"What do we do boss?"
"Nothing we can do other than dig where they want us to dig."
Both stayed silent, a sad blank look in their eyes.
"Don't worry kid, I'll get us all out of here." The boss said, breaking the silence and hugging the kid.
"Thank you."
"No problem, just remember I'm the Boss, it's my job to keep you all safe and that is exactly what I plan to do. For now just go back to work." The kid nods before exiting. The Boss sits down before pulling out a cigar and lighter. "God help us, we're gonna need it if we plan to escape this Tartarus."
