It's been over a month since I've moved here. And how's it going for me ? Well, so far, good, but progress is still slow.
Even though I enjoy the school's environment while also having to deal with some idiots, but progress to move away from my past is very slow, considering that I still have to carry the burden on my back.
What about the Mane 7 ? Well, I've got along with them pretty well, we sometimes chat and joking around with each other. The person who I mostly hangout among them is Rainbow Dash, I love her rebellious attitude and since that I like tomboys, I would sometimes had a crush on her. Also, I would sometimes watch her plays some of her favourite sports either lunchtime or after school, which I love the way of her skills. And I even invited her to my house two weeks ago ! Which we got along pretty well.
The second person I mostly hangout is Fluttershy, I like her shyness since I like a girl who is very shy. And also, she is very kind as well, like, really kind. She would help some students who are struggling on something, and eventually resolve them very easily. And she would also sometimes bring animals with her, which is unusual, but she said that she wanted to take care of them, even though she can do that in her Animal Rescue Center.
As for the rest ? Well, pretty average. Sunset is just like any normal girl, Rarity would talk about fashion, Pinky Pie would joke around a lot, Applejack would talk like an average Texan, and Twilight would discuss about which scientific topic.
So, even though I would hangout with these girls, but I thought to myself that I didn't hangout with them enough. Because I mostly kept everything to myself, I didn't communicate most of the students in Canterlot High, due to paranoid. But I still want to hangout with them, so I thought to myself, how would I do that ?
One night, I was lying on my bed in my bedroom, thinking about how am I gonna do it, while also scrolling through my phone and looking at the photos. I come across an old photo, it was me along with 2 other old friends from elementary during a sleepover in my old house.
Ah, the old days. Still remember that one time Ryan scared me while I was getting a drink. And Joe just chugged a whole snack.
It was good days nonetheless, as me along with my old friends had a lot of fun. Then, I thought to myself :
Hey, what if I invite one of the Mane 7 to my sleepover ? I hadn't had one since elementary. I mean, why not ? Maybe I should do it tomorrow.
I eventually turn off my phone and went to sleep, waiting for the next day.

Another day, another boring schedule...
As I brushed my teeth and dress up my clothes just as usual, I went down the stairs and already saw my breakfast has been ready for me. Just as I'm ready to eat, I ask Connor ( my guardian ) about one thing.
"Hey Connor, can I have my own sleepover ?"
He turns his head and looked at me.
"You're planning on making your own sleepover ?" As he seemed surprised a bit.
"Yeah, I haven't done that for a long time."
"Well, what was the last time you had one ?"
"Since elementary, I've been thinking about it." I answered.
"Same here. The last time I had a sleepover with my friends was during high school. Man, those were good times."
"Really though ?" As I asked Connor.
"Yeah, we joke around a lot, telling shitty jokes, eating lots of snacks and telling stupid horror stories. Like Jesus Christ, I can't deny that they're so memorable."
"I mean, why you didn't go to one anymore ?" As I ask curiously.
"Went to college, drop out of it, then they called me in to take care of you." Connor replies.
"Ok, so can I have my own sleepover now ?"
"Yeah, but under one condition."
"Well what is it Connor ?" As I continue to munch my breakfast.
"I can probably only let 2 of your friends in, I would be ok with you if you invite two girls from the Mane 7."
"I can accept that, but why though ?"
"Possibly either some of them had a busy schedule or just tired."
"Yeah, yeah. And can you now go get some snacks for the sleepover ?"
"Alright on it, but what about your sleeping bag ?" Connor replied to me.
"It's underneath my bed, in my bedroom." As I finished my meal.
"Alright, I gotta go now !" As I pick up my backpack that contains the stuff I needed for the day.
"Don't expect for me to prepare the things you needed !" As Connor replies to me while I shuts the door.
I continue to drive to school just as usual, but I started to think about who should I invite to go to my sleepover.
Hm...since Connor said that I can invite 2 people to my sleepover, who should I invite ?
I thought about it for a bit, then I thought about Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, two of the girls I mostly hangout with.
Hey, how about Dash and Fluttershy ? I mean, I mostly hangout with them after all. Maybe I could ask them to come over to my sleepover.
When arrived to school and entered it, I tried to find them in the hallways, but couldn't find them.
Huh, they already went to the classrooms ?
I looked at the time on my phone, it's still around 10 minutes before class starts.
Oh well, I may as well find them after class ends, gotta go now.
I took some of the books I needed for my class. Then I walk to my class as I mentally prepare myself for the day.
*Sigh* "This is gonna be a long day."

*Brinnnnggggggg*
"Oh my god, now I finally had my opportunity !"
It was pretty exhausting during those classes, we only listen to some facts explained by the teachers, wrote some notes, etc. Although I tried to pay attention, but just like any other student. I didn't listen to what the teacher says, because everything they say will just flow through my head. But enough of it, scratch that.
Alright, now this is the opportunity to find both of them.
Now that I finally have free time, I decided to find Dash and Fluttershy for my sleepover.
I walked down the hallways, tried to find both girls. Then, I saw Fluttershy was seem to be putting some of her stuff back in her locker. I walked over to her for a request.
"Fluttershy ?"
She looked to her left and saw me waving at her.
"Oh hey James, how's your day ?"
"Yeah, it was good. But can we have a talk for a minute ?"
"Sure, what is it ?"
"Um, well I'm preparing my own sleepover."
"Oh that's great ! Is that why you came here for ?"
"Yeah, I wanted to invite someone for my sleepover."
"Oh, I would love to go to your sleepover. But I don't know where your house is."
"Well, here's my address. That'll help you to find where I live." As I handed out the paper which contains my address.
"Thanks, but I need to pack up my things first before I could go to your sleepover."
"So, you sure you don't need a last minute change ?"
"Nope, all I need is just taking care of the animals at the animal shelter, then I'll go to your house. That's it." She replies.
"Uh, ok, but make sure to bring some of your items you needed for the sleepover."
"Alright, and should I tell the other girls to go to your sleepover ?"
"Uh, no thanks Fluttershy, I'll do it myself, considering that my guardian don't want a lot of guests. See ya later !" As I walked down the corridor.
"You too !" As she shouts.
Alright, now that she accepts it. Now's the time to find Dash !
I continue to walk down the hallways while I tried to find her. I expect that she might be at the gym/school hall to play basketball, but she wasn't there, so I went to the school field to maybe find her playing football.
I eventually arrived at the field, and I saw Dash was just taking a rest after playing football. I walked over to her.
"Hey Dash."
"Oh, hey there James ! Why come here ?"
"Um, we just need a talk."
"Sure thing !" As she finishes her water bottle.
She finishes it and walked to me.
"Alright so, what is it ?"
"You see, I'm having my own sleepover, and I wanted to invite someone for it, so do you wanna come ?"
"Yeah ! I got all the time in the world, and I'm willing to go to your sleepover."
"Really though ? Don't you worry about your homework ?"
"Homework ? Nah, that's the least thing I'm worry about." As she replies exaggerating.
"Ok, so you're willingly to come ?"
"Yeah ! But I need to pack up my stuff back at home first before I go to your sleepover."
"Well fortunately, because Fluttershy seem to accept it."
"Wait, you asked her to come too ?" Dash asked me.
"Yup, she seem to accepted it, but I'm not sure if she's gonna make it or not."
"Aw yes ! This gonna be the best sleepover ever ! Now that Fluttershy is in, we're going to have a fun time together with the three of us !"
I was kinda surprised for a bit that she wanted to come.
"Ok, I'm gonna go now. See ya !"
"Stay cool James !" She replies as I'm walking into the school.

As I walked down the hallway to the exit, I was wondering about how this sleepover is gonna turn out.
Ok, now that both of them have accepted it. Now let's go home to see did Connor bring the stuff I needed for tonight.
I eventually drove back to home, wanting to see what he had brought back.
"I'm home mate ! Did you brought the things I needed for tonight's sleepover ?"
"Yeah, but did anyone accept your invitation ?"
"Of course, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy accepted it, but I doubt that they'll come soon."
"Well, that's a good thing that I bought all you needed for the sleepover, popcorn, snacks, etc, and I also bought some pizzas from a nearby store, which that'll be heated later."
"Well, that's good news. But do you think it's enough for my sleepover though ?" I asked Connor.
"Possibly, but I've seen some tips on online says that you need to decorate your room first, so you can add some atmosphere in it."
"Really ? Do I really need to do that ?" I asked him while a bit shocked.
"Well, which room you're gonna sleep with your friends aside from your bedroom ?"
"In the living room, it has much more space than my room."
We walked and entered the living room and looked around a bit.
"Hm, looks like you don't need to."
"Why though Connor ?"
"Well, you see James, let's say that you wanted to tell a serious horror story, you wanted a room to have a paranoid atmosphere. Right ?"
"Um, yeah ?" As I asked him and confused a bit.
"This is the perfect place for it, you got two entrances on both sides and one in the middle, and a fireplace. So when you tell a very real horror story, they may get paranoid by expecting that the fire will blow out and something is gonna come into the room at any moment." As Connor explain to me.
"Huh, I guess your right."
"Ok James, I'm gonna go upstairs to do some work, and wait till your friends come here."
"Alright, have fun working on your laptop." As I replied to him while he's going up the stairs.
Now that I have everything prepare, all I need to do is wait till they get here. I mean, what are they gonna bring though ? Is Fluttershy gonna bring an animal ? Or Dash is gonna bring some comics with her ?
Nah, maybe I worried a bit too much. Let's just hope that this sleepover will go well.
It's now around 7pm and I'm already ready for tonight's sleepover. My sleeping bag is already at my living room, my console and the controllers had been set up, snacks are ready. Everything has been set up now for tonight, but there's one thing that's missing, Dash and Fluttershy.
I checked to see what time is it again, and started getting anxious. Did they forgot about my sleepover ? Or are they still doing their own stuff and didn't have time for it ?
At this point, I thought to myself, maybe all of this wasn't worth it. However, Connor noticed me as I was getting more anxious.
"James don't worry, they might come here at any moment. Sometimes friends would come to sleepover at a very late time."
"I know Connor, but I'm still worry that they would not come."
"I could said the same thing as you when I'm organizing a sleepover for my friends. So, just be patient will ya ?"
*Sigh* "Alright."
I continued to wait around 10 minutes, till I suddenly heard a motorcycle just stop by our house. I looked out from the window, and it was Dash herself.
"Aw hell yeah ! She's here !"
I ran out of the living room and opened the front door.
"Dash ! You're finally here !"
"Glad to see you James ! Better have everything I needed for the sleepover !"
"Yeah, we got everything as much as we could for tonight. Come in."
She entered my house, took a deep breath for a second.
"Ah, feels good to be back here !"
"You really do like hanging out in my house isn't it ?"
"Yeah ! It feels very cozy in here."
"But, did you tell Fluttershy where I live ?"
"Yup, already told her, and I show what the front of your house looks like. I'm sure that she won't have any difficulty of finding your house."
"Yeah, sure..." I replied.
"Alright, where should we settle then ?"
"Probably in the living room, it has much more space than my bedroom.
"Ok, once I put my sleeping bag and my other stuff, I'm gonna need something to eat."
"Alright, suit yourself then Dash."
However, the issue is Fluttershy hasn't arrive yet, so we waited around 5 minutes for her to get here.
"It's been 5 minutes, where is she ?" As I looked at the time on my phone.
"She probably still trying to find your house, let me text to her."
Dash pulls out her phone, trying to ask Fluttershy where is she.
"Did she responded to you Dash ?"
"Never mind, she already found it." She replies.
I looked out of the window and saw a small car pulled up, and emerge from it was Fluttershy. I went to the front door and waved at her.
"Hey Fluttershy, over here !"
"Hi James, just a minute !"
She carry's her backpack and walked across the road to my house.
"Took you long enough, come in." As I let Fluttershy enter my house.
"Oof, it's very difficult of trying to get here. Considering that I'm not very familiar with your house."
"Don't worry, that happens sometimes to other people as well."
"So, where should I settle then ?"
"That'll be the living room, this way."
I guided her to my living room, and Dash was already in there waiting for her.
"Fluttershy, you're here !" As she reacts while I opened the door for Fluttershy.
"Hey Dashie, good to see you're here !"
"Come on in, put down your stuff here."
While Fluttershy was put down her backpack, it started raining outside which I thought it was unusual, but I realized that my Weather app already says it'll rain around evening.
"Is it raining outside ?" Dash asks.
"Yeah, it seems so."
Then, suddenly Connor opened the door, and asks us.
"Alright guys, snacks are ready, who wants to eat ?"
"Me !" All three of us shouted.
We went to the dining room/kitchen, which I remind you it's crammed into one room. And I don't know why whoever designed the house, just thought it's a good idea to put two house features into one room, which is not small, but still don't know why.
But anyway, we enjoyed the food that Connor bought them from several stores, which is what we needed. Dash and Fluttershy seemed to enjoyed it nonetheless.
"Mm, this pizza taste delicious as hell !" As Dash munches a slice of pizza.
"This cupcake is also tasty as well." Fluttershy replies.
"Glad that your guardian bought most of these for us !"
"Well thanks Dash, that's basically what he can buy to be honest."
"Speaking of your house James, could you take me a tour around the house ?" Fluttershy asks.
"Yeah sure, why not ?"
I took Fluttershy around the house so that she can navigate around it if she wanted to go somewhere, from the office to my bedroom. But she noticed the attic door and was curious about it.
"Is that leads to the attic ?" She asks.
"Yeah, but it's very weird."
"Why is it though ?"
"Well, it has two rooms that are on each side and there's a table at the end of it, for me that looks doesn't normal at all." I replied.
"Oh, ok...can we continue now ?"
"Yeah, let's just scratch that."
I continued to give her tour around the house, till we reached my bedroom. We went back to the living room so we can get this sleepover started.
"So, what should we do now ?" Fluttershy asks.
"How about we play UNO ? That sounds reasonable."
"You know what, I'm in favor of UNO. How about you Fluttershy ?" Dash replies.
"I guess I could play it as well."
"Alright mates, we're gonna play around 7 rounds got it ?"
"Yeah, I'm agree, but I bet I'm gonna win every single round !" Dash exclaimed.
"I doubt that..." I replied.
So we played UNO for a while, and it was a lot of fun, Dash just pulled out a 4+ card on me just as she's about to win the 2nd round, only for me to return the favor by giving her the same card as well, forcing her to pick up 8 cards. Fluttershy did well, although she blocked me several times. But as the game progress, all three of us were getting a little bit of paranoia about our surroundings, but we tried to calm us down by telling jokes, which one joke made Dash laughed to like a kettle.
In the end, Dash won 3 rounds while I won 3 rounds as well with Fluttershy only won 2 rounds.
Now that we finished playing UNO, it's time for us to tell some spooky stories.
"So, now it's time to tell some horror stories, who goes first ?" I asked.
"Me." Fluttershy answered.
"Alright Fluttershy, what is your story ?"
"Well mine is about a 'bird' that flew above the ruins of Chernobyl. But this wasn't just any 'bird', it looks a dark figure, with glowing red eyes, and a 20 foot wingspan."
"Whoa, seriously ? It's wings that are 20 foot in length ? We only saw Twilight and Summer had grow wings in the Friendship Games." Dash replies.
"Ok...can we continue ?" I asked.
"Yes, as I was saying, this thing had been terrorising the workers at the plant before the meltdown occurred. This eventually forced many of the workers to not go to work, not to mention that they also had nightmares of that creature, many of them had to lie by saying they're sick or other excuses. But they have to go back after receiving calls from their supervisors from the plant." Fluttershy explains.
"Wow, they basically called them to go back to work ? That's so uncool."
"They thought those claims of seeing the creature was fake or just nightmares, that's why Dash."
"The sightings of this creature increased during the meltdown. Workers that tried to put on the fires has been harassed by it."
"Is it because it tried to warn them to get away from being poisoned by the radiation ?"
"Yeah, but as months progressed, the reports of sightings of that creature has been dwindled, and this creature was given a legend name, 'The Blackbird of Chernobyl'."
Me and Dash had a blank stare for a few seconds.
"Ok, that was a little bit dramatic there for a person who loves animals. But cool story you go there !"
"Oh, thanks Dashie."
"That was interesting, but I doubt that this 'Blackbird' existed as it's really difficult to prove it. Anyways, who's next ?"
"My turn !" Dash answers.
"Alright, hit it mate."
"Ok, so since I sometimes I'm into cars, do you know that there are cars are haunted ?"
"A haunted car ? I mean a movie already made one, which is only from a novel. So what car are you gonna talk about ?"
"Well, that's what I'm about to say James."
"Continue on then." I replied.
"Well, there is this one car that is haunted actually. This one was built in the 60s, and it was first bought by a police station in Maine. At first, there seems to be nothing unique about this car. However, the officers who drove it, would go on to die as a murder or suicide. So, less than 12 months later, it was quietly sold to a local resident. This resident was the one who repainted it to its iconic golden colour, which is why this haunted car was nicknamed, 'The Golden Eagle'."
"The Golden Eagle ? That's interesting of naming a cursed car."
"Anyways, it was used by the resident for 7 years, till it was transferred to a local fire department for a lengthy period, before in 1983, it was again sold back into private ownership." Dash explains.
"It was owned by a woman, who had already know about the car's reputation. At first, it was normal just like any cars. However, things started to get weird, animals that were closed to the car died, then several people who got close to it would die in a car accident, such as a resident who had argued with the owner." As she continues to explain.
I still not convinced about Dash's story, but I decided to go along with it.
"A car that kills people by getting them closer to it ? That is one way to get rid of a person you hated so much."
"However, years later, someone eventually stole the car, then scraped the entire thing in a junkyard. However, the owner didn't give up on it by searching all of the remaining parts and put then somewhere secret. And that's it."
Now that she finally finished hers, it's my turn now.
"Well Dash, your story is a bit better than Fluttershy. But both of you are not gonna prepare what I'm gonna tell mine."
"Ok, hit me then ! Let's see how scary yours."
I looked over to Fluttershy, she's a little bit scared.
"Um, Fluttershy, you sure you're okay ?"
"Not good at all, but can we finish it please ? I don't want to stay up to see a ghost."
"Alright, I'll make this quick. So, have you guys felt that someone was watching you ? Not in a school or anywhere, but in your house. "
"No ? How would someone be watching you doing something ?" Dash asks.
"Simple, let's say that you're doing something alone in your own house, either a household chore or anything else. But all of a sudden, an unshakable feeling comes over you. The hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, it feels as of someone else in the room, even though you are alone.
Then, out of the corner of your eye, you see a movement. Only fleeting ; a shadow in your peripheral vision. It was right there, but when you turn you head to look, it's gone. Or what if you're lying in your bed when this feeling comes over you ? You feel a cold chill. You look over the top of your blanket and, sure enough, there is a person standing at the end of your bed."
"Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there ! So you're saying that this 'person' would stalk you even when you're lying in your bed, like what ? Who is this 'person' then ?" Dash asks.
"Well actually, this 'person' is not an ordinary person. It doesn't have any features, it was entirely black, and he seems to be wearing a fedora hat, the rest of this 'person' was just pure blackness. It was only if you peeked out of your blanket or blinked your eyes that it had it's gone."
"W-wait, so this 'person' looks at you while you're asleep ? Please tell me this is just a myth." Fluttershy asks.
"Well unfortunately Fluttershy, this is already worldwide phenomenon with people already saw it, and he was nicknamed as 'The Hat Man'."
By the time I'm halfway through the story, I saw some sort of movement outside of the window. I turned my head to looked at it, but it was gone.
"That's basically it, looks like now's the time to sleep guys."
"Yeah, I just wanted to had some peaceful sleep right now considering that yours is probably more creepier than our stories."
I got up and turned off all of the lights, while also closing the curtains just in case.
"Good night, guys." As I snuggled inside of my sleeping bag.
"Good night." Dash and Fluttershy replies.
We slept around 10am, and nothing had happened yet. But I decided to get up around 3:30am to go to the kitchen to drink some water due to my throat being a little bit dehydrated. But just I finished drinking, I looked over to the hallway.
What the hell did I just saw ?
I swear that I saw a head peeping around the corner, from one of the entrances to the living room. When I walked over there to check, there was no one there, the doors were closed so it couldn't be Dash or Fluttershy. But just as I turned my head to the right, I saw another one peeping around the corner, which leads to another hallway to the living room as well.
However, because it is midnight, I decided to just go back to sleep. But it also made me think about the head that was peeping around the corner, that made me think it was the Hat Man. So, whenever I felt a presence when I tried to sleep, I wouldn't turn my head around to look up because I knew there was someone standing while looking all three of us sleeping.
Oh god, please help me...

10:22pm
I eventually finally woke up, and oh my god, that wasn't pleasant at all. I may have possibly dozed off last night, which I'm glad that I did that. I saw that Fluttershy and Dash had already woke up, so I brushed my teeth and went to the dining room/kitchen to eat my breakfast.
"Hey, you're finally awake James, what took you so long ?" Connor asks.
"Just got up late, that's why."
I sat down with both of the girls and I eating the food.
"So, what you guys did it last night ?"
"Well, we did played UNO last night and also told some jokes along the way, which there's one joke I laughed so hard !" Dash replies.
"I'm not gonna tell that since I don't want Dash to run out of air again..."
"We also told some legends, mine is the 'The Blackbird of Chernobyl', Dash is 'The Golden Eagle', and James is 'The Hat Man'." Fluttershy replies.
"Well, this sleepover ain't so bad, right James ?" Connor asks.
"I guess so, but could've been a bit more exciting."
"But hey, we also had a sleepover at Pinkie's house and it also wasn't as exciting, but at least we got to hangout." Dash replies.
"But do you have any friends in Canterlot High though, James ?" Fluttershy asks.
"Still can't find one at the moment. But don't worry, I'll probably handle myself."
"I guess it's okay for you, because I gotta go home to take care Angel, along with the other animals at the center."
"Yeah, Sunset had already messaged me that we're gonna meet up at the mall." Dash replies.
"Well, I guess this sleepover is over then. But we should finish our meal first before both of you girls start packing up." I replied.
So all three of us ate the food around 5 minutes later, I helped the girls packing up their stuff while I put mine back upstairs. They finally packed up and just about to start walking out the front door.
"Alright, see you at school girls !"
"See you later James !" As both Dash and Fluttershy closes the door.
As they closed the door, I'm kinda glad that I was able to relive that experience today, even though it wasn't as exciting as before. And it also made me think about the head peeked around the corner last night.
However, that doesn't matter anymore as it was over. I went upstairs to my bedroom, put on my headphones and started playing my music playlist, while lying on my bed.
Needles to say, I keep in check. She was all bad-bad, nevertheless...
As I started to drift into the musical world, I thought to myself that maybe life wasn't so bad after all...
