I swayed from side to side in the air, I looked amazing, my skin turned to a shade of red, the white in my eyes black, claw like hands, pointed ears, large wings attached to my back, this feeling of power.

I knew the crown had magic, but I never would have thought it’d have this much.

I let out a laugh and turned to my 6 opponents. The currently powerless opponents that caused me no threat. In return they stared back at me in full terror and fear. The looks on their faces were so satisfyingly fearful.

My gaze fell upon my two assistants behind them, Snips and Snails, they wore the same fear on their faces but a hint of excitement. I gathered up the magic and shot two beams of light straight for them, they both transformed into a similar form as I, with their own looks of course.

The two advanced towards the girls all backing away except Twilight, she only looked angered until she looked behind me. I turned around with a devilish grin to see students attempting to run away until they ran back in when I stared at them.

I flew towards them my grin turning into a frown of hatred. “You know, I’ve had to jump through way too many hoops tonight just to get my hands on this crown. But really if we’re being honest, it should have been mine all along.” My eye began to twitch as I glared at them menacingly. Before I let it drown and turned to a look of genuine happiness, “But let’s let by gones be by gones. I am your ruler now.”

I harvested up the same magic as before using it this time to throw away the front of the school walls exposing the crowd to me, this was truly empowering. I flew into the building as screams of terror could be heard around me and pupils running in all directions. Gathering even more magic my eyes began to glow, a hypnotic symbol rolling around in them. Harnessing the power I didn’t even know I could control I began zapping the students without even moving.

They all turned around looking at me like they were all some sort of zombies. “Round them up and gather them at the portal.” I ordered my two assistants as they quickly ran off to do so. I walked outside again to be met with the 6 girls.

“Hmm, spoiler alert, I was bluffing when I said I was going to destroy the portal. I want nothing to do with this pathetic world. I want Equestria, and I have my own army to do it for me.” I laughed at Twilight’s face before it quickly changed, “No, your not!” My amusement dropped at those 3 words, “Oh please. What could you even do to stop me? You have no magic may I remind you?” I glided forward slights my hair flaring up before it swiftly calmed.

“Yeah well she had us!” I heard an all too familiar voice say. I snarled as those idiots ran over to Twilight. I quickly turned back to my evil smile. “Well, the gang really is all together again, now move. Twilight had interfered with my plans for long enough.” I gathered the magic between my hands again. I shot the magic straight for Twilight.

Until those other 5 idiots jumped at her like it was some sort of group hug. I laughed as the smoke form the blast cleared before quickly being interrupted, “Okay, what the fuck!?” I shouted as a pink magic hugged them closely.

“The magic contained in my element was able to unite those that helped create it. The same pink magic was started to flow from the crown upon my head towards them. The group started putting on some sort of light show as the started growing pony ears and tails? Even Twilight, Rainbow and Fluttershy grew wings!

“Together with the crown make a greater power than you could ever imagine! The crown may be upon your head Sunset Shimmer, but you cannot wield it as you do not posses the most powerful magic of all! The power you don’t have the ability to control! The power of friendship!” The 6 flew together to form a heart, how is that even possible?

Suddenly twin rainbows emerged from above them, circling around each other before forming together and heading straight for me! I acted fast and band together all the magic I could firing it straight at the rainbow headed full speed for me. I heard surprised gasps from the 6. Did they really think That would stop me?

My magic quickly overpowered theirs, it hit them full force as they all fell towards the group their ears, tails and wings all fading away. “What?! H-How?! It’s the magic of friendship, friendship always overcomes the evilest of evil!” Twilight began rambling on and on about the power of friendship and how it always works, blah blah blah. “Did you genuinely believe a little light show would stop me?” I began uncontrollably laughing, before I cut myself off and let a dead expression lay on my face.

“Goodbye Twilight.” I said softly, repeating the same cycle as before and hitting Twilight with it. Her face was frozen in shock as her body started to decay into mere dust. Sobs could be heard from the remaining 5. “You know. I was thinking about doing the same to all of you, but I’m feeling generous today. Instead you can join my army and take over Equestria with me.” That fake face of genuine happiness came over me. I did the past thing with my eyes as I hypnotised them. They showed me no resistance, they’d finally given up.

The wicked grin returned to me again as I laughed. “Alright, threw the portal my loyal subjects!” I called and watched as they swarmed through.

Once all of them had entered I followed, I remained with my demon like appearance just with pony features, I kept my large wings and a large horn was now on top on my head, right in front of the crown. I looked around, we were in a castle, an all too familiar one. I heard a door bust open as I turned around.

I came face to face with her.

Princess Celestia stared at me in horror. “Good to see you again. Celestia.” I said in a low voice. I used my horn this time to gather together the magic, the same type I’d used on Twilight. “And here I thought all these years you would come back seeking my gudience. It appears not. But before you zap me, I must ask what of Twilight?” I didn’t expect her to ask, but it’s her last moments she at least deserves to know.

“She’s dead. I’ve done to her what I’m about to do to you.” My voice remained calm the entire time. Her eyes went wide as I threw the magic at her. Suddenly as I did two more alicorns burst in, I’d never seen one of them before. She was a dark midnight blue colour. And the other one, Princess Cadence. Without intending to I zapped both of them as well. All 3 fell to the ground and started decaying.

“Goodbye old teacher. I did love my time with you before that night.” My voice was warm and welcoming as I said it to my old teacher who stared back at me tears in her eyes.

About an hour later. I sat on a large throne of gold, fire on both of my sides. I was alone in the large room. Tears fell from my eyes. I’d used my army of teenagers, teenagers for Celestia’s sake, to take over Equestria. I succeeded, but at what cost?

I’d killed my former teacher, Princess Cadence, that other alicorn I found to be Celestia’s sister Princess Luna. I’d killed Twilight, that army I assembled, a lot of them died, teenagers who had their lives taken because I was selfish. And the 5 idiots counter parts, I didn’t kill them, but I put them through so much pain and took their elements to harvest it into more power. For my own selfish needs. More tears escaped my eye.

“I really am-“

This was kinda painful to write.

I don’t think I’ll be doing a sequel or another chapter. But I might later on. It’s unlikely though. But I hope you enjoyed this story.

Was a quick one with little planning ahead of it and semi- rushed, just a quick idea I wanted to do.
