Just another day playing in the forest. That's how it all started, anyway. Between the boring meetings and nightmares, Somnia could barely find time to play with Fae.

Apparently, fate had other plans. Saved at the last second from a cataclysm by an unknown force, she was thrown into the distant future where everypony she knew, except her closest friend Grar, were dead. Or so she thought.

Twilight Sparkle now needs to take care of the filly as her own daughter, a task ordered on her by Princess Celestia. Both Celestia and this filly know more about what's going on than they are willing to tell her...

Originally this story was planned to be teen-rated, with occasional references to sex, violence, blood, and profanity. Obviously that fell apart rather quickly. I can't help myself, I'm too preferential to adult themes and romance.
