I was laying across my bed staring out the window towards the giant radiant castle of Princess Twilight Sparkle. I thought to myself “I hope one day I’ll be like her.” I decided to go downstairs for a snack preferably a apple from the market. I grab my basket that I keep next to my bed with my magic and head downstairs, but before I could descend a single step, I hear my parents speaking in their room.

I listen in carefully to the words that come out of my mother’s mouth. The only ones I could make out were vacation and alone. I was oddly intrigued about what they were talking about, so I decided to head in and figure out what they were speaking about. Not even a minute after I opened the door, my father shoved me out of the room. I no doubt had a face full of shock. They come out looking at me with a death stare, I felt so scared I got up, grabbed my basket and just left without hesitation. I was so scared I didn’t want to go back home until it was later in the day. It was then that I decided to visit my childhood friend, Starcrush. It wasn’t a long run there, as she only lived a few houses down. Still terrified I knock on her door, no pony answered. I suddenly heard a loud bang come from behind the house. I made my way behind the house. There was fallen equipment from which I assume was another one of Star’s experiments or stage set. There laying in the floor was Starcrush bleeding with a piece of metal sticking out from her leg.

Standing still watching her bleed oddly satisfied me, I thought to myself “Maybe I should help her, or maybe I should just leave and let her suffer.” Honestly I must say I was kind of a crazy person back then, and still am kinda. I help Starcrush up and took her inside. I was kind of worried just seeing my friend just laying on a bed bleeding out. I call for medical care and waited for them to arrive, before going home and leaving the medics to their work. I just decide to lay across my bed and stare out the window, worrying about my friend’s wellbeing. I drifted off to sleep not too long after. But then I woke up to my parents leaving the house to their supposed “vacation”. I rush down the stairs to confront them but they were well on their way after I made it down. I just decide to head back in and go back to bed, not knowing what would come later in the night.

I was suddenly awoken by a strange noise. I stupidly go investigate the source of the ruckus, and I saw an oily figure standing in the kitchen scourging through the fridge. I stupidly say “Hello, wh-…what are you?!” It turned its head to me and pounced straight at me! It scratched my leg and I fled. I ran as fast as I could but before I could make it out of the house, it pounced on my back and started clawing at my head! I screamed! But no pony heard my cry for help. It stopped and left. Bleeding badly, I took a good look at what attacked me and it looked like a small Cerberus with horns on each head. I got up and headed to the bathroom for a first aid kit my parents had left in case of an emergency.

As I reach the bathroom I hear another noise, but this time it was coming from the bathroom. I was screwed! I couldn’t go in, I knew if I put a single hoof on that tiled floor I’d get ripped to shreds in an instant by one of those demon-like dog things. But this one sounded different, it sounded almost as if it was a pony someone. It sounded like another pony, a very confused one. I rush in as fast my wounded legs could let me and grab the first aid kit sitting next to the entrance. I grab it and turn. I stupidly looked back at the pony-like figure sitting in front of the mirror crying. As I turn my head back, I am met with the same little shit that hurt me. I back up and bump into that thing that was crying in the mirror, the last thing I saw was the Cerberus-like creature jump at me, while the other one held me from behind.

I woke up in the living room tied to the couch with some strange magic. I look up to see that I was being stared at by two pairs of bright white eyes watching me in the darkness. I heard the sound of clawed feet start to approach. I close my eyes in fear at the thought of being dissected and being used as these things dinner. But instead I hear the sound of the clawed feet stop, I open my eyes to see a strangely built monster sitting on the table in front of the couch menacingly staring at me with its white glowing eyes. I turn my head to in the hope that it’d go away but it didn’t, and it began to speak. It said “Hello Rose. You may not know us, but we know you.”

I respond angrily “ LET ME GO NOW! OR I-…OR I WILL-…uhm…” They laughed at me.

It spoke again saying “We aren’t here to kill you Rose, well not yet at least. You are useful and we need your help.”

I responded by saying “With what?” I had said it in a voice that made me sound scared.

It then said “To help us bring our world here, you have no idea how powerful you are Rose, you are stronger than those lackluster Princesses. If you help us we’ll spare you for 3 years then come to kill you, and if you won’t, then we’ll force you to help us then kill you after. So now what is your choice child?”

I respond “NO, I WON’T!” It laughed and grabbed me by the neck. I started to panic as my vision started tuning black. Unbeknownst to me my horn started to glow brightly and wave of force came out from it. The wave destroyed the magic that was holding me in place, and all three of the creatures were flung backwards. The one who had me by the neck took me with him and when we landed I was released from his grip. It was then that I ran out the house headed toward the hospital, thinking it would be safe there. I looked back and saw that the three creatures did not try to chase me. I ignored this and continued to run to the hospital. As I get there I ask the receptionist for directions to Star’s room. She said “Are you alright ma’m?! What happened to you?!”

I respond with “I ASKED WHAT ROOM STARCRUSH IS IN DAMNIT!” She gave me the directions to the room and I headed there. As I made it to her room I felt the adrenaline leaving my veins. As I walked in I hoped that Starcrush would be happy to see me.
