A Cute Little Pony

Sweetie Belle is pacing back and forth; unsure of whether this plan of hers is a good idea or not. Meanwhile, King Sombra is just laying on top of Sweetie Belle’s bed. Reason? Sweetie Belle is pacing in her room, and that she brought King Sombra with her just because she thought of something to do with him that could be potentially childish… . And also because she’s scared that Opal might ambush her and scratch her. She’s getting old after all… . And old cats are definitely not to be trifled with.

“I’m not so sure if I wanna do this… “ Sweetie Belle said in slight nervousness.

King Sombra got up and said; “do what… ?” in confusion. “What’s the problem?”

Sweetie Belle whimpered a little out of nervousness, but then sighs; preparing herself for the worst, and then says; “we play dress up… ?”

Sombra blinks, snickers, then says; “seriously… ? That’s the problem? Dress up?” Sweetie Belle nodded with a pouty lip. To which point; Sombra then began to burst out laughing. Sweetie Belle; thinking that she’s being laughed at, starts to whimper; tears forming in her eyes, and then she began crying. Sombra picks up Sweetie Belle, then says; “so what? It’s not that childish. And it isn’t embarrassing either… . Only if you dress me up in nice suits and tuxes, then it’s fine… alright?”

Sweetie Belle sniffled, wipes her nose with one of her hooves, and then says; “owkay…” while nodding her head. King Sombra then says; “that’s right…” and sets her down.

After some careful thinking and planning; Sweetie Belle smiled, clapped her hooves together, and then says; “alright… let’s do this!”

King Sombra is looking at himself in a mirror; admiring his new look. Surely… he didn’t think that he was a “formal” pony… . But he guess now that he in fact is… . And he’s loving it!

Sweetie Belle however, was just giggling to herself, and is also looking at herself in the mirror; thinking as to how in the world can a simple formal dress still make her look so cute and adorable… .

After some time of checking out each other in their formal attire in the mirror inside Sweetie Belle’s room; Sweetie Belle then gave a twirl, and says; “I look ridiculous…” hiding the fact that she herself thinks that she looks cute.

King Sombra chuckled, and then said; “to me; I think you look rather adorable… . Considering that you are in fact still little… and such. Despite the fact that you’re not actually little… you know?”

Sweetie Belle looked at her reflection once more, and then said with a huff; “I guess you’re right… . I’ll never be a grownup… .” Sweetie Belle then began to walk off; looking defeated.

Seeing this; Sombra proceeded to pick her up, cradles her like as if she’s still a child, and then says to Sweetie Belle; “and so what??? Like I said; you can’t grow up instantly just like that… . It takes time… . I mean… after all. If you were to be instantly grown up, then clearly, you’ve missed out on all the fun stuff that you could do as a kid. Am I right… ?”

Realizing that he has a point, but also still feels bad for appearing young, Sweetie Belle then replied; “I guess… . But I don’t know though… . I still wanna grow up… . Yet…” she continued as she jumps down from Sombra’s grasp. “I can’t really see myself as a grownup yet… .”

Sombra snickers again, and then says; “and what’s wrong with that… ?”

Now realizing she’s at a loss, Sweetie Belle says; “nothing… ?”

Sombra nodded, and then says; “exactly!” while also picking up Sweetie Belle again, and then cradling her. This made her giggle, and then Sweetie Belle began to hug and nuzzle him while being carried. Blushing, yet chuckling at the same time, Sombra then asks; “what’s that for huh???”

Sweetie Belle giggles again, and then replied; “because you’re making me feel young… and so I’m acting young. Sound fair?”

Sombra shrugs, and then says; “fair enough… .” Sweetie Belle nuzzled Sombra some more, but then began to yawn. Seeing this, Sombra asks; “want me to put you down so you could get some sleep?”

Sweetie nodded, but then says; “you’re gonna have to carry me though… . And tuck me in as well…” while giving Sombra a playful smirk.

Sombra smirks as well, chuckles one last time, and then says; “that’s fair… hahaha… . But don’t expect me to read you a bedtime story now… . Got it?” Sweetie Belle then waved a hoof at him, and began drifting off to sleep.

After tucking in Sweetie Belle, Sombra then starts to ask; “you need anything? Or at least; need to brush your teeth or something… ?”

Sweetie Belle waved her hoof, and then says sleepily; “I’m too tired… . I’ll brush my teeth in the morning… . And besides…” she said as she gets up a little. “I can always do those things myself you know… . You don’t have to treat me too young now… . Okay?” After that, she yawned again.

Sombra nodded, shrugged, and then said; “that’s fair… . Goodnight.” and began to leave.

But before he could leave, Sweetie Belle said; “wait!” and rose up slightly… . “C-can you get me one of my plushies? Please… ?”

Sombra then said; “for real… ? But I thought you don’t want me to treat you too young… ?”

Sweetie Belle whimpered from being tired, and said; “cmon. Please… ?”

Sighing, Sombra said; “okay… . But don’t expect me to do you any favors…” and went off to get one of Sweetie Belle’s plushies from her plushie pile. Despite Sweetie Belle getting older, she still likes plushies… . Almost like a certain princess in mind… .

Anyways; Sweetie Belle got her plushie, hugs it, and then says with a smirk; “oh please… when have I ever wanted to ask you for any favors… ?”

Sombra then smirked back and said; “you mean aside from the previous ones? Or… .”

But before he could finish, Sweetie Belle wrapped her hooves around Sombra, and then dragged him down onto her bed with a giggle, and says; “goodnight, you old bag…” and falls asleep soon after.

Sombra chuckles, and then says; “goodnight, you big baby…” and then get up to leave Sweetie Belle alone for the night. Sweetie Belle then nuzzles close to her pillow, hugging her plushie with one of her hooves, and then falling asleep on top of her other hoof. With that, Sweetie Belle began to snore, and drift off to sleep again.

And as for King Sombra; he’s laying in the guest bed already because he passed out even before he got himself tucked into bed. Nevertheless, he’s asleep, and began snoring loudly; thankfully without Sweetie Belle hearing him.
