But sleep never came to the troubled pegasus.

As Celestia's sun broke through the clouds and rays of light made their way to Rainbow's tired eyes, the sky-blue pegasus sighed before crawling out of her fluffy cloud bed.

Now quiet came to her after she had awoken from her nightmare, and her eyes were now slightly red and stung.  Closing them helped, but Rainbow Dash couldn't keep them closed for long.

Their faces came back when she closed her eyes.

She couldn't understand why she was seeing them again
