"Remember, your greatest power comes from the piece of me in all creatures." Those were the last words the goddess spoke before Lightning was thrown beyond her world. After being taken by the Chaos, Lightning arrives in Valhalla. However, before she can become a Knight of Etro, Lightning must pass a trial proving her worth as guardian. Taken across the sea of Chaos, and beyond the voids of time and space, she arrives in Equestria. There, she must come to understand the power of friendship, learn to live with the annoyingly friendly Elements of Harmony, and all the while trying to discover the power her goddess claims to be within.
