"Memories, a fickle thing to have on the mind wouldn't you say? Especially since some could give either good or bad feelings from them, but you're here for one thing and that's to know what happens next, so I shall give thee my tale till we are caught up, ok? Glad to hear it now let's start a few years after, well his horn was being ripped off his head, shall we?"

~~~flashback~~~
POV: Thing
Location: library of Stitchings Manor
I was wearing an old dirty white collared shirt with some grey stains of what I believed to be dust stains but didn't bother to care for it as over it was a simple dark vest to cover the white-collared shirt underneath. Still, I like this attire, the white-collar though simple and plain, ignoring those grey stains over it was a dark vest with a chest pocket that held a handkerchief, the color-matched my dark ashy mane and slightly complimented my dark blue coat. It was simple yet felt natural to me yet similar to a strange perfect for me a well, hornless unicorn remembering the 'incident' I call always brought me the light pain to my head but thankfully, by Celestia's blessing, I still could use magic. However, Zara told me that I should only stick to the basics as she doesn't know what the outcome would be if I used magic that I didn't know or could handle, so I only stuck to simple levitation magic and short teleportation spells. With the help from Zara, she taught me only those she knew from the books down in the basements storage who knew rummaging through rich ponies old stuff that they probably didn't even care for or remembering to learn from, nobles sometimes the same and sometimes just Plain predictable, pathetic yet what can you do.
However, though I managed to 'prove' myself to the nobles of the Manor that I could be 'useful' to them from with being their stress buck-bag when they're pissed off, they force me to work as their servant of the Manor for not only a roof over my head but for food even if that roof was just the ground floor and the food usually scraps of meals it was hard, but you bare with the problems, no matter how cold, painful or starving they were. But looking past that, I was tasked with cleaning chores and only given rules; 'Don't interact with any pony unless instructed to.' 'Obey Mr.Stitchings and Ms. Violet and address them by "sir" or "ma'am".' and probably the worst one 'Don't cause problems for any of the staff or nobles of any kind.' All that boring piles of minitour shit.
Though I was my current chore was to un-dust the library shelves, I sometimes, when no pony is looking, take a read of what kind of books the nobles own, and sure enough. It was interesting readings; they had books of history, mathematics, current engineering, medical health, science, and some newspapers reports of the past and current, along with some holding pictures of lands far away from the land of Equestria, which I was home too. From what I read, Equestria had opened its first railroad track system and train engine named; ‘The Friendship Express,’ though the weirdest name, but I was more fascinated on the train engine itself more than the name connecting to some major cities far from where I was, but the short amazement quickly faded as I heard the giggle of what I could deem the two most annoying mares that I could have ever forced to be working for.
The twin daughters of ‘The Stitchings’ noble family and the two most painfully mares to ever breath on this land, ‘Silver String’ a golden mane and her twin sister ‘Golden Thread’ with silver-grey mane and both share the same pearl white color coat. Oh, anything but these mares makes the beatings of Mr. Stichings hooves feel soft. The verbal threats of Ms. Violet feel like complaints as to why these two mares do to me making my life a living Tartarus, but being forced to work and the fact that they were the children of my noble ‘masters, I had to grant their request and obey their orders as they giggled at me for reading putting away the books and newspapers as Silver String spoke in that annoying pitched voice of a spoiled brat.
Then I heard a voice, a voice that I'm familiar with ever since the 'incident' which every time I hear that annoying, but it was always faint, like a whisper behind the back of my head as it was always those exact words that seemed only to irritate me "Hate, pain, Fear." I pushed the thoughts away and ignored them as I focused on the two damned twin shiny brats without knowing the personalities of these two salt-licking mares; they could be passed as beautiful stuck-up noble mares.
“Hey Hornless what you reading there didn't daddy order you not to read his books in the library, you wouldn't want something to get I'm angry again wouldn't you hornless?”
“Yeah, especially since we all know you can't read or speak it would be ashamed if some pony were to relay this situation to him wouldn't it?”
Golden Thread added hearing my head begging to just walk away and leave but pushing that voice out I sighed quietly and gave the ‘servent stare’ that sir Silver Bell taught me when I started.
“It bad, yes his graces...kin, I has faith, that this would be give anger...his grace, from busy days.”
I was only replied with laughter for the way I spoke to them; they laughed at my poor equestrian tongue because it sounded how Zara spoke. But I let it sail and awaited for whatever scheme they had planned for me to either humility myself or make me more foolish for even the nobles to laugh what shame I had, to which standing there waiting as their laughter slowly died down to giggles they both took a breath calming themselves and spoke their order or request.
“Oh don't worry hornless we promise not to tell our father for a small tiny winy little thing we need for you to get for us.”
“And that be, young misses?” I ask Golden Thread in a dead tone as they tried to hold their giggles again.
“We need you to get us some ink from mothers office along with a few pieces of parchment, along with going into town to get a basket we ordered from the local bakery.”
She ended with both of them having that mischievous smile on their faces as they giggle, to which I remember Mr. Stitching that I wasn't permitted to leave the manor by any means in case to 'disgrace the family' as I sighed quietly in my mind.
“Young Miss Golden thread and Young Miss Silver String, I am not allowed outside, Manor...his Grace sta”-
With a hoof point up at me keeping me from finishing both their smiles turned to quick snarls at me as they both locked eyes with mine and I stood there ‘servent staring past them. As they both spoke in unison.
“You are ordered to obey nobles' requests or orders even ours, are you saying you can’t follow our orders Hornless?”
As much as my body and mind screamed for me to say no, I ended with a sigh internally and shaking my head as I started to walk off to the library door opening it with my sparking and turning my head to face them.
“I obey request, I bringing your ink and paper and baked goods from town Young Misses.”
I left, closing the door behind me with fading. It hurt to use my magic since, without my horn channeling, it makes it harder and heavier on my mind, and that was just levitation spells. I gently rubbed my head and walked down the hall, walking past other maids and staff of the manor all looking at me with either worry, disgust, hate, or not even noticing me at all moving to the grand hall seeing all the family paintings, paintings of far lands and some décor that looked like trophies and other strange things climbing up the stairs as I looked at one painting of a family tree of the nobles and their ancestors.
I didn't care or bother with it one part of it was off-putting that it was all pegasi and earth ponies, no unicorns at all, and one branch of the family tree seemed to be missing or ripped off as if somepony didn't want somepony to see it but brushing it off I went to Mr. Stitchings office knocking on the wooden door to be greeted with no reply, shortly I opened and peeked my head in and which by 'Celestia's grace' he wasn't there quickly walking in to grab both ink and parchments to turn back to the door and see only the pegasus Ms. Violet there standing in the door frame, quickly making me snap to attention out of instinctual fear as I only see the burning hatred in her eyes as she gives me that dead stare practically looking to my soul as I felt my body tense up and almost start to sweat, only to watch her enter the office and using her wings to close the door behind her and only to be utter silence in the room as I could hear my heart beating in my chest as she stands there eyeing me up and down with that blank dead stare.
“What are you doing?” she asked in that tone of emotionless tone as she slowly walked keeping a distance of six hooves away from me and circling me as I just stood there staring straight ahead.
WARNING
Just a heads up if ya got a weak stomach or a bit sensitive to gore might want to skip this part to the green, if not then go and “see” for yourself.
Ye be warned lad
“Granting request of Young Misses”- she stopped standing to my right side with quick speed interrupting me and her face practically a snarl that I could feel her eyes burning on the side of my head.
“What are you doing here in this office, in this manor even.” she spoke in a more enraged tone to me, only remembering how she easily gets enraged just by the mere presence of me as I stood there doing my best to stop myself from shaking as I see her moving to the desk of the office and picking up a feathered pen quill as she looks at the pointed metal tip of it.
“I-I, no excuse, no reason h-here... ma’am.” I felt the shaking in my voice as I uttered out those words feeling sweat slowly dripped down my head as she walked over, holding the quill in her hoof, and stopped to stand right in front of me as she looked into my eyes as I kept my stare holding the best I can to continue to stare past her and see the metal tip of the quill point at my right eye.
“No reason or excuse huh, you are a terrible abomination in my eyes, you ruin this household, and even the staff here. WHY SHOULD SUCH A DISGRACE TO LIFE BE BLESSED TO BREATH THE SAME AIR AS I AND HER MAJESTY CELESTIA!”
With those words thrown at me, I then felt her hoof grab my head, and before I could even react, the quills pointed metal tip gets trusted into my eye, and as she used her wings to hold my mouth shut as all I did was stand there and took the thrust crying out of both eyes blood from my right starts to drip and mix with the tears.
Feeling her hoof twist, push, pull and move around in my socket made me drop the ink and papers on the ground as I groaned and breathed fast and quick as she pulled the quill back slowly, only to feel a pulling my socket. I felt nothing but pain as the pegasus slowly pulled my eye out from its socket and turned the quill making the eye and socket make a ‘POP’ sound as now from my right eye, all I saw was red. The feeling of both blood and tears dripping my face and eye, to which I breathed hard and shallow seeing the pegasus then pull on my eye once again with her hoof dropping the quill as she pulled hard and with a light fleshy tearing ‘SNAP’ the pain became more eminence as she holds my bare eyeball in her hoof and holds out for me.
“Swallow it, or be blind for life and not to see that zebra thing you call a mother creature.”
Tightly covering my bleeding eye socket only and falling on my flank out of pure pain, looking up at my eye in her hoof weakly raising my own to take she retracted her hoof and looked at me with more of her anger disgusted face.
“No, use your magic of what's left of that broken stub you call a unicorn horn,” She commanded, hitting the stub of my horn, causing a shape pain as my vision of my left eye almost faded and obeyingly her order, my horn started to spark out and using the magic to painfully grab my eyeball from her hoof and put it into my mouth as she then in the same voice commanded.
“Slowly.” I began to chew my eye in my mouth, crying, holding my bleeding socket, feeling only a hole where the eye and eyelids should be, and giving most of my strength to hold back from passing out and crying harder. Feeling my teeth tear my eyeball to a mushy paste as I swallowed it down my throat and came to a shive up my spin as I sit there realizing what I have down and only looking up at her in pure fear and sorrow with only one final command from her as it was back into her calm, collected voices she used to speak with guests or other nobles.
SAFE ZONE
Hey if Ya made it here by reading hope it your ok or you are just a twisted person like me, if ya skipped it then my apologies to you and sorry for making it “hard to see” it.
“Leave this office, crawl back to that dark hole you came from I don't want to waste my air in your presence again.”
With that said, my horn generated its sparks of magic. With a light teal blue light, I vanished teleport to the manor's basement. I fell flat on the floor, with mother Zara hearing my teleportation and seeing the light quickly rushed to me and said my face as she knew what happened, not even bothering to ask and only dragging me back to her small alchemy work area and performing her healing chants and tonic. My vision started to fade and left me to pass out into sleep from the blood leaking down my face and my mind only echoing in my mind repeating repeatedly, but it wasn't in my voice.
"The princess can't help you, Zara can't help you, no one can.
But theirs no need to fear, your time will come and all the pain, the hate, and the fear will be marked on those who wronged you for what they done, all you have to do is wait, and only remember these words forever on your soul.
"Hate, pain, fear."
