"Hey True, Boss wants to talk to you." True heart groaned and shook her Celtic Blue mane with A sea-green strip, and her bronze orange coat. Her Grass Green eyes looked at The Brown Buck, who she came to know as, Uncle. The lazy bastard prefers to do anything but actually work, getting drunk constantly. She could tolerate him, he's not bad company, everyone else hated the leech. He's fun to talk to and he has some good advice. Sadly he is so damn old, it's a wonder that he can still shoot his rifle. Speaking of Rifle she needs to find one, True heart got out of bed and slipped on her Armored duster, Armor meant for melee attacks nothing worse, she didn't expect to get shot. Though it happens, She put on her hat and smiled. She lived a Bandit and will Die a bandit. She grabbed her Revolver, a Hoof crafted master pistol, she made it herself, one of the best guns she had the fortune of owning. She engraved the Title, 'Justice Will be Served Cold'. So she calls it Justice Or cold depending.
She put her Pistol in her holster, The Gun that was crafted from the weapon that killed her parents she took inspiration from that bastard that killed her parents, Now she runs with a gang. She walked out of her tent and into the light, seeing the children around them, it was early morning, The sun rising from the sky they lived in a cave, safe quiet, and cold. Better than the heat that burns their skin outside, The West sucked.
She walked over to Silvers's tent, and sighed, happy to see her boss talking to their plan maker. GoldenEye, or Hashbrown, The Old stallion was the oldest member of our gang. Also, the smartest, keeping Silver in Check, and always keeping others safe. We had others also, need to name them off.
We had Poison Eye or Birch Leaf, The Sharpshooter worse than Trueheart, but his skills are not taken lightly. Then we have Uncle, meet him. Next is, Silent Eye or The gang only Zebra, he goes by the name of Icarus. Next up is, Explosive eye, the gangs explosive expert, the battle saddle stallion was terrifying, he had amounted Cannon! Then the Pony True Heart hated, he went by many names, True Snake is what True Heart called him. This gang was small but powerful, And I haven't even finished with all the names! That will come later when we see them.
True heart put her Journal away, Writing in the Second person made her feel better. She looked at her boss and Hashbrown and blushed as they were staring at her expecting a talking. She spoke her voice was deeper and more threatening than most Mare voices. "Yeah Boss?"
Silver shrugged and sighed, "Look True we understand your devotion, but you are a kid! We can't expect you to keep killing ponies." Kid? She is 25 now! she faces hooved.
"Boss, I'm 25 I'm young but not a Filly anymore, Also I want to help the Gang. I know what this is about, It is about the next Job Right? It must be dangerous if you are asking me to stay behind, But if it is this dangerous you know you need all the help you can gain. You should know that Boss." He looked at me and sighed.
"Look I just don't want you dead, I have big plans and they NEED you, I WANT everyone else to help BUT I NEED you for The big Job, What we are doing now, is little more than Cleaning up." Clean up? "The Syrup Gang is still active, and it seems they hit a food caravan. Something we have to look into, for one someone could still be alive and two We need food. Also, it will assist to make the Gangs fear us more." True Heart nodded, Fear is important, if other gangs fear us they will be less likely to attack us.
"I understand Boss but I love to just make pony shake in fear! As long as they are not innocents, as much." True heart smirked slightly, though inside she cringed at the eagerness of her own voice, why was she even here if she didn't like violence. This Gang served Death, she will also end up dead, though she knows why. They saved her from certain death, allowed her to avenge her parents, she will repay them or die trying.
She looked at the boss and he smiled and nodded, "Let's go, Boss! I wanna kick some assholes flanks! Silver Tongue smiled and nodded, grabbing Gun and gathering the gang.
We galloped through the desert with the whole gang of capable ponies, all of us armed with rifles, well Except for me. Still had my revolver, though I don't need a Rifle, it's obvious why I'm called Deadeye. Each target gets hit in the eye and dies, though like everyone I make mistakes, I'm not perfect.
When we reach the location the smell of burning flesh spread across the desert, We all cocked our weapons ready for a battle, I spun out my Revolver and loaded the 6 .357 rounds. I did what I normally did a snuck forward with the stealth of a predator ready to attack their prey, because I was. When I exited the bushes I saw something that truly angered me. A dark grey Pegasus Mare with Silver mane and tail with blue and red swirls, The Pegasi's eyes struck True heart are Pretty, A type of Turquoise one that expressed true kindness behind those eyes.
She also noticed a good number of ponies around the cage, maybe 12 or so, True heart gulped, Half the Loaded ammo needed to kill them all if she had perfect shots. So maybe, instead of going loud, She looked at her bag and saw the 9 Throwing Knives. She levitated all the knives with perfect precision, and time slowed to a crawl, as she allowed her focus to overtake her mind. She targeted each pony right in the throat, well 9 out of 12, it's okay if she missed some. The Knives are still dangerous, and these are serrated, so they tear flesh. She soon launched one knife at a time, you could hear the sound of the air splitting around the knives. Then before anypony could tell each pony that True heart targeted got a knife either in their throat or in the back of the neck. Multiple ponies feel, though sadly not as many as she hoped, The Surviving ponies yelled and screamed Intruder!
Gunshots echoed across the Desert, True heart jumped into cover behind a crate and spun her revolver in the air, and poked her head out of cover only to receive and Bang and stinging pain on the side of her face. She retreated and noticed she had been shot, she snarled and launched out of cover and time slowed again. Her revolver moved at a Blur and the little revolver thundered after each pull of the trigger. One bullet found its way To one stallion's balls, actually ripping them off. The second shot hit a Stallion in his throat causing his eyes to glaze over and he fell over dead. The third, It a mare right in the eye spraying her brains on the wall behind her, she actually stumbled and fell back, alive. The Fourth Bullet, Hit The Gun the Unicorn mare was holding in her levitation magic actually splitting the Gun in half. The Fifth, just hit a stallion in the chest causing him to fall over dead.
The sixth shot backfired, covering True Heart's face with Burning Gunpowder. She screamed and fell back rubbing her face, though the pain didn't stop. Damn you! Why did that bullet backfire?! She quickly without opening her eyes reloaded her revolver, As her eyes were burning in pain. She heard a sound behind her, Her ears perking up as she leaned against her cover. Then in a split second, her revolver blurred into motion pointing directly between a battle saddled Earthponies eyes. His face was priceless, well that was until his head ceased to exist,
Boom Boom Boom!
Her revolver shot as fast as she could though she knew hitting something was near impossible, though she had to make the pony hide for cover. That's when she heard a second shot after hearts though she didn't feel pain anywhere, she knew then that the ponies in her gang have come to assist. She feel over panting hard as she rubbed her eyes, using Dead Eye (the Skill) uses a ton of energy, she is still blind though. She felt a bootle push on her lips and she drank it, the healing potion started to heal her eyes, the feeling make her squirm slightly. When she opened her eyes again she saw a dark brown Buck with a Bolt action rifle, he had a black and white mane and tail, with amber eyes. She coughed and smiled at him making him back off. I looked at Hashbrown and sighed, Or Goldeneye.
"How are you doing Kid, Your bullet backfired in your face huh?" True heart grunted, and Hashbrown sighed.
True heart got to her hooves and looked at the Pegasus and saw she was bleeding from her front left leg.
"HEALING POTION PLEASE! WE HAVE A SURVIVOR!"
True heart looked at the Injured pegasus mare and thought, 'I did that didn't I while I shot randomly, she got hit in the foreleg with one of MY bullets, I need to take responsibility for that action.' She started to walk towards the pegasus, only for the pegasus to push herself into a corner in fear, True froze and in place not allowing the pegasus to feel threatened. "Boss where is that healing potion! We need something that will stop the damn bleeding!" I was not happy, But mostly angry at myself I shot her. "Hey, it's okay Miss?" The pegasus didn't respond only leaving awkward silence, "Hmm, Well I'm True Heart, Part of this group." The pegasi's eyes widened, "No, no it's okay! we will not hurt you understand?" My voice was a little firmer than I intended and winced, "Sorry I shot you I need to be more careful, maybe I'll let you shoot me later." Though it wasn't a joke the pegasus chuckled softly and I smiled, "Okay I need to let you out of this cage is that okay?"
The pegasus nodded, and I made my way to the lock and sighed. "Fu- I mean horse apples, I don't have the skills to unlock this kind of lock. A fu- I mean, It's a Magic Lock, used for unicorn magic and only opens for that type of magic." I started to think of ways to bypass the lock, Guns would just make the Lock backfire releasing all its energy, I looked at the pegasus. I can't do it that way, I will not take that risk with a captive, so what am I supposed to do? Ding! I smirked, this will be payment enough, I spun around and bucked the lock as hard as I possibly could. While I am no earth pony my body was covered in condensed muscles like farmer ponies, the lock didn't hold, it snapped in half. The cage door broke also and the hinges separated from the wooden planks, I heard a whistle from behind inside the cage, I looked over and saw the surprised pegasi's face.
"Heh thanks, I try, You okay Miss?" This time the Pegasus answered me, something I was happy of.
"Apple cake, Mom was an Earthpony dad was a Pegasus, And mom was part of the largest earth pony family in Equestria. Sad Mom and Pa didn't survive this group of bandits, Ponies like this make me sick! Taking and killing who they want, no remorse for others, some even think they are the good guys. Disgusting, If only more ponies like you existed, I wouldn't have to worry about losing someone. That damn Snake Eye gang is the worse, Can't believe they attacked a village and killed ponies for fun." How wrong can one sentence be?
"Well they didn't attack a village, in fact, I was in that village, Family all gone, I didn't have much of a choice in the matter either, starving is no good, and I need protection." My eyes widened as I released my secret like a fool! Apple's cake's eyes widened and then narrowed, fuck me sideways.
"Oh yeah, who are you!? Your not Snake eye, Or one of the big 5," Her eyes widened as she saw each of the corpses, all missing their eyes, "FILLY DEADEYE OF SNAKE EYE GANG!" My ears pinned back, Yeah my trait for shooting the eyes bites my ass again, It's like my calling card. No one else dares to make that move, it's hard to hit the eyes, but for me, it's like a game.
"Yeah I'm dead eye, though the ponies have to be wrong, I don't kill as many as you believe." Apple Cake snarled, "Boss Stay away from here I have a loose end to deal with" Apple's cake's eyes widened in fear at the implications.
Boss looked between the two of us and nodded, "LETS GO GANG LET'S GET BACK TO CAMP!" They galloped away, and when I was sure they were far enough away. Though one pony remained, His name was Stick Eye, a snake for betrayal. He listened in on what True heart and Apple cake said.
True looked back to Apple cake and sighed, "I didn't want this life, I also know can't leave it, I was forced into this. It was either that or my body would be found in that village I was born in, I had no choice, I'm not a good pony. Though I'm not evil either, nor am I full bad, I just want to help others. Here I'll tell you this How many corpses have I left?"
"25 Deputy, 2 sheriffs, 50 or so Gang members. If the wanted papers are to be believed, and it is not illegal to shoot Gang members. True heart why would you kill Them ponies?"
"I had no choice." She snarled in rage, oh boy this will take longer to explain.
"Then why didn't you just leave the gang?!" Oh, true heart laughed, Apple cake looked confused.
"Left the gang, that's a funny joke, most of us have magic near our hearts that will kill us for sharing Other names of the gang. As for just running away, that's the real fun part, that same magic will explode our hearts if we leave for a month. Only skilled mages can remove the magic, and I haven't found one, I hear one is in Equestria though. Though I do not wish to risk my life, the reason why I am allowed to talk about this magic and not dead is to help ponies who have been captured. I Ensure that have a chip to use, because if they say Boss or anyone else true name other than their own, boom. Though the magic doesn't kill just because you say the name it has rules in place, so we can talk normally though if captured the Magic will activate." A.C looked thoughtful and sighed, She realized that True heart was a captive, and had to do what everyone else says or risk dying. She had no choice, and she would be hung if only she was found to be a captive.
"How many others are there like you?"
"Four of us, Stick Eye, Mooneye, Light eye, and Four eye. The last one is one of the big boys, he always wanted to have alife but couldn't, The gang picked him up young and raised him. An Stick Eye is listening to us right now."
Stick Eye swore, "Really Dead Eye? Why are you so damn observant, also Boss will kill both of us if he finds out about the agreement we all have in the." He saw the pegasus and smiled, "So you the mare the Group wished was dead it seemed, Don't worry Miss Deadeye will not allow you harm, well unless she is dead. Then no one will help you, though Deadeye is hard to kill, Snake Eye knows this. What's your name miss?"
"Apple Cake." Stick eye whistled.
"A member of the Apple, these bandits must be stupid, that Family is protected by the princess. Only an idiot would attack them, that or someone foolish." He looked at Apple with sadness, "We need to get you to a secure location safe from the boss."
He looked in the distance, "Someplace you know of, miss True heart." Her eyes widened. "The Village That we found you at."
