Luna rolled her eyes then spoke. “My dear sister, we may have fought but you were always my sister, sleep well.”

“As much as I hate to say this we have no time to mourn for our loved ones death.” Chancellor neighsay said.

Everypony gasped in shock of the pony’s words.

“Before you all get mad reminder this is a serious situation and we are being timed. We can’t just sit around and do nothing.”

“How cruel!” Rarity said.

“Believe it or not neighsay is right.” Maud said.

“You too?” Pinkie pie said.

“In order to actually survive this we have to figure out which one of you is the blackened, so I suggest we split up and investigate the crime scene.”

“Wise choice, I’ll split everypony up.” Neighsay said.

Twilight, you’re with Starlight.

Applejack, you’re with Rairty.

Sunset, you’re with Trixie.

Luna, you’re with pinkie pie.

Rainbow dash, you’re with spike.

Cadence, you’re with sunburst.

“It seems the victim was beat up to death then strangled on top of that.” Twilight says investigating the body

“But what I don’t understand is why Fluttershy would leave her door unlocked?” Starlight questioned.

“I remember when I was talking to her before you got here she mentioned something about going to dinner with some pony, but that was before the whole killing thing, I didn’t ask who that pony was and just brushed it off, maybe instead of having dinner with that pony, she did something else with them instead that involved them coming to her dorm, then killing her, although, the killer probably wasn’t even planning on killing Fluttershy, it seems pretty rushed like it just came to mind, I mean beat up to death? That’s a pretty weird way to kill someone then strangle them with a blanket and stuff pillow fluff in their mouth? That sure is something- and here I am rambling again—.” The lavender Alicorn said.

“Wait, that’s a good theory, but there’s no way of knowing who that person is.”

“If only I had asked her, we could’ve had this!” The lavender alicorn said putting her hooves to her face.

“Don’t blame yourself Twilight, none of us knew we would be dragged to a killing game. Starlight had told her putting a arm on her shoulder.

“W-well yeah, that is true, let’s get back to investigating.”

• Cadence and sunburst were investigating the bed, the whole set was messed up and half of it was torn to pieces, they took a peek inside the pillow case and found a love letter that reads:

“Aww a love letter, how cute.” Cadence said reminiscing from the times she sent love letters to ponies.

“This isn’t the time! This might be a very important piece of evidence.”

Sunset, Trixie, Maud, and Neighsay had decided they wanted to team up searching the bathroom for clues.

Trixie picked up a opened bottle of “mint relaxation shampoo.” “Oh, it seems she must have been taking a shower before the devastating event.

As Sunset was investigating the toilet she stumbled across a few vitamins she found on the ground.

The orange pony licked one of the vitamins.

Chancellor Neighsay turned around just in time to see it.

“You incompetent fool! Why would you do that??” Chancellor said.

“To make sure they were vitamins.”

Trixie jumped in the conversation and added on, “but what if they weren’t vitamins! Plus that’s unsanitary.

“Sorry, I know I should’ve not had licked it.”

“Who would need vitamins at this time anyway?” Trixie asked.

“Perhaps, someone that needs energy.” Maud said.

The three all did a gasp.

“I still don’t get why are investigating the door, I mean what does the door have to do with any of this?” Princess Luna said confused.

“You know why silly! That’s where Fluttershy was killied! A few inches behind the door, where Twilight and Starlight are investigating.

“Then shouldn’t we be looking *behind* the door?”

“Nooo”

“Wha-“

“I have a hunch.. something tells me that the killer didn’t *immediately* kill Fluttershy after coming to her dorm.”

“What tells you that?”

“Nothing, just a hunch!”

Rainbow dash, Applejack, Spike, and Rarity also teamed up, but at that point all they did was argue over what happened and got no investigating done. Then, before everypony knew, the trial announcement comes on.

“Puhuhuhu, times up! It’s time for the famous class trial!! The trial room is on on the 13th floor of this building!! I know, creepy right? But since I know you all are lazy make your way to the elevator on the 2F and go the the room “TR” on the 13th floor once you get there. Puhuhuhu! See you at trialllll!

“I really don’t want to participate in this, but for fluttershy sake.” Rarity says.

Everypony made it to the elevator and once they got to the 13th floor they went straight to the trial room. As Starlight opened the Trial Room doors everyone gasped at how big it was and how it looked like a real court room.
