They left boutique by main doors,which was pretty bad idea because near there was Police officer which was patroling whole place.He noticed two weird looking ponies with blood on hooves

''Stop,it's a Police,please stop!''

''RUN DUDE,RUN,THEY ARE CHASING US!!!'' screamed criminalist

But they were slower than a Police officer which catched them up,and putted on cuffs on their hooves,after that he said

''now,we will take us to Police station,you two are suspects of a burglary''

''Sir,we are fine''

''oh,so what's that on our hooves ? strawberry jam ?'' asked Officer

When two criminalist left the kitchen Sweetie decided to move on from the cupboard.When she opened the doors she said her sister's name twice, but she didn't get answear.Sweetie Belle's eyes saw scene like took from bad nightmares.Kitchen was burning down and her sister's tail slowly burning in puddle of blood.

''SWEET CELESTIA THAT'S A FIRE'' screamed

She immediately came to the sink and putted on water.After short while fire was exquished.Sweetie came to her sister.Half of her body was burned,2 rear legs,tail,half of her side.Happily cutie mark wasn't touched by fire.

''R...Rarity'' she was crying hardly.Seeing her lovely sister in that condition was very painful.She tried to move her body and go to hospital,but Rarity was too big for small Sweetie Belle.She needed a help.

Meanwhile Twilight Sparkle couldn't sleep that night,she had thought that one of her friends is in big problem.But she didn't know who.she managed to do some small walk.She waked up Spike which was sleepy and said to him

''Spike,i will go outside for while,i can't sleep now''

''okay,twilight,goodnight'' he back to the sleep.He didn't know that his lovely Rarity is dying.

She exited her home and she was passing by Rarity's Boutique.But something creeped her out.Doors,which were widely opened.She said

''Maybe i should check if everything is fine''

Twilight entered the boutique by big door,and She noticed total mess in whole place,like someone just searched something ,but other thing was also disturbing - burning smell in the air.She didn't know what's happening there.She didn't saw Rarity anywhere

''Rarity ? where are you ?''

No answears.Maybe she was sleeping,but why there was opened doors and that total mess ? she managed to walk to bedroom,she had a hope that she will see sleeping Rarity which is fine.She knocked to door 2 times and opened them.She noticed widely opened doors of the closet.

''weird'' said twilight

She walked downstairs to kitchen.She didn't saw a Sweetie trying to help Rarity before.Twilight after walking to the kitchen experienced the shock.She appeared to her eyes picture like from horror or something even worse.Whole room in blood,knive near her,and Half alive Rarity in puddle of blood.Also her little sister which was trying to help her.
Twilight was looking on that scene with tear in eyes,she came closer to Rarity and started check her

''Rarity !! Rarity !! please answear'' said Twilight

Rarity didn't answeared to questions.Sweetie looked on her and said

''Help her,please,she is dying''

Twilight started to rescue Rarity.She took her on the ridge and started run as fast as she can.She was really frightened.She never saw her friend in that bad condition.After 30 minutes she arrived to hospital with Rarity.

''Doctor,please help her,she needs help'' screamed Twilight Sparkle

''Oh my god... what happened ?''

''i don't know''

Doctor putted Rarity to operation room immadiately.She was in very bad condition.4 broken hooves,totally damaged one eye,coat had a lot of scarfs which were still bleeding.She had a very shallow breathing.Her hair were drainched in blood,her tail was scorched in end.Only two things were untouched,her skin in the area of cutie mark,and her horn.Doctor said that she have very small chances to be alive.But beetwen that there was a small ray of hope,she was still breathing,and her organs were still working.But they didn't know about one thing.Bulglars before putting tape on her mouth they gived a cyan pill which after 5 weeks it will open.
Twilight had to tell about that tragedy to her friends,parents.She said that she will tell them tomorrow.After very long hours of waiting twilight was very worried what now,she had a hope that Rarity will be fine.After another hours of waiting from operation room exited doctor,twilight came to him and asked

''How is she ?''

''i did what i can,she is very brave''

''can i see her ?'' asked Twilight

''but be quiet,please''

''i will be''

She entered the room,and she felt very sad feel.Rarity was lying on the bed without any signs of life,only what can be noticed that she was breathing,her chest was rising.Her eyes were closed,one was damaged due to knive,and other one was black eye.It was very sad view to see your friend with which talk,do some things and see almost everyday,now is dying there,on hospital bed.Twilight was crying.The clock showed time 6:00,after some minutes Applejack came to the hospital,she asked where is Rarity's room,and walked to that room.She at the first thought that she came to wrong room but,no it was there.She noticed Twilight near the bed and Half alive Rarity lying on the bed.She looked on Rarity with her green eyes,and later looked on twilight.

''Wh...what happened ? why there's police in Boutique ?'' asked with worried voice

''she was tortured by two criminalists in middle of night,they left her in that condition''

''What ? what they wanted from her ?''

''Money,propably,when i found her whole Boutique was in mess,like they was searching for expensive things''

''But why they tortured her ?''

''i..i don't really know,maybe she don't gived them money,and well,they started to be more brutal''

''but they don't needed to be so brutal,just look on her'' Applejack can't hold that feelings and started to cry

Twilight was crying also.they didn't know if Rarity will be fine,or she will die.

And since Rarity was in hospital,the fight for life has started.Rarity versus death.She had a very long road before her.No one knowed what now,even doctor didn't know if she will be alive.Every friend had a hope that she will back to her normal life,and she will be okay.Sweetie Belle had to move to Fluttershy to time when Police will end Investigation.Fluttershy later told about whole tragedy to rest of the friends,they were totally broken.
