“Wake up, come get up!” a familiar voice called that showed a sigh of relief as my eyes fluttered open. As if this person was a stranger to my sees I stared for a few moments and wandered who this stranger was. I sighed with relief I fully realize she was my mom.
Even though I figured out who she was I still had a sense of wander across my face it seemed because she stared at me as if something was wrong. With this though she stayed mute to the situation. After a few minutes of a staring contest it seemed she exited out of the room dramaticly fast for some apparent reason.
To what I have woken up to and tangible knowledge of this building's structure I had no idea of where she was off to.As I pushed off the bed to stand up in the corner of my eye I saw movement.
I turned to find a boy it seem that he was about eleven years old. He had dirty blonde hair and he seemed to be about four point seven feet in height.
His eyes were a navy blue colour it seemed with lighter shades of blue surrounding his iris. I noticed him as he stumbled around, as I saw this I took into account he may have just woken up.
I slowly walked out of the room to find myself in a small hall. I continued forward to later find myself in a larger room that consist of two figure in it one was the boy which I assumed was my brother sitting down and the other my mother making some sort of food.
As I saw this I wanted to examine the room more ,but as I tried to move nothing happened. I looked down toward my feet as my vision slowly faded away.
As my vision reappeared I looked around to find myself in some sort of vehicle it seemed.My mom, she occupied the front seat. I was about to ask her why and where I was but I was silenced by a ringing noise. After the bell stopped she said with a slight grin "Have a great day ,Nick." After she finished her sentence I thought to myself "Nick... Is that my name?" I pondered this but was interrupted with “Come on,get out!” She yelled with some frustration in her voice.
As I exited the vehicle she drove off leaving me to stare at this strange structure that stood before me. I saw this as if a beacon and follow it as I entered the strange building. For some odd reason I ended up in this strange room about twice the size of the room I woke up in.
As I entered the strange room a woman greeted me in "Nick sit down please." There it was again... Nick. Am I this Nick character? I found myself sitting down in a seat to the far left back corner of the room. I then heard a whisper of a voice said “Nick, come on stay focused!” I asked with curiosity in my voice “Who's there and where are you?”.
The strange voice said “What? Why would you of all people ask me that you should know.” I asked “What do you mean “I should know”?” The voice said having a sense of annoyance “You are the one that created our link to each other ..I am Time Surge and I am your pony-self.” Still confused I asked “Pony-self?” Time Surge said now with a sense of concern “Do you not remember anything?” I said “Well I did wake up in a weird place that seemed familiar ,but now at the same time. I don't know how else to explain it.”
Time Surge said “Interesting ,I hope this has nothing to do with my recent activities.". I asked “Activities?” Time Surge said “Well, I found out I could open the door by myself. Well not by myself I had your consciousness with me my door saw the two minds and let me through.
The door is a door to anywhere and/or anytime but I need one other person else to open it. The door is gray with six signs on it and signs are : a stone, a cloud with thunder blot , shards of ice , some fire ,a gust of wind ,and a wrist watch.” I then asked “Like that?” “What ?How did it...get to you?”Time Surge struggling to form words asked. There before me stood the door matching Time's descriptions completely.
As I took a quick glance around the room I saw something that shocked me. The wall of the room have disappeared and nothing was there besides complete darkness.
I found this completely odd for many reasons but what happened next was comforting to see. At the door of the room stood a person. I thought to myself "Well at least I not alone talking to myself.". I had my eyes set on the person and was shocked when he turned around.
The person had no face but still continued towards me I swear if that thing had a face I think it would be the creepiest smile I have ever seen. My eyes dragged to the person's left hand as it started to fade in and out. It slowly materialized to form a blade. I said under my breath "O come on, you have got to be kidding me." Time Surge then asked “What?! Nick was is wrong?”.
I didn't have time to offer the answer to his question. I used my time to avoid this thing's attacks. Time Surge said having a slight sense of worry in his voice “Nick are you ok answer me. No Twilight this is important!” The thing saw my lack of attention and used the opening stabbing my right shoulder.
I cried with the amount of pain that rushed through me.I tried to push the pain aside to deal with the sudden risk of life on the line. I quickly glanced up away from my wound to see that the thing ,from from it's attack left it wide open for a counter. I quickly steadied my left hand and hit the gut of the thing with as much force I could muster.
It stumbled back a little it still did not close the opening in it's defences. I picked up my leg and kick it with what little energy I had. This had sent it flying a few feet back. Time Surge cuts in “Are you alright Nick?” I answered now having some time “Ya but I wounded if anymore of those....” Holding my right shoulder in pain with my left arm I look at the darkness of the wall that was on the other side of the room.
More of those things started to crawl out. I then heard an unearthly cry "Stay, Nick. Stay with us!". I asked Time with worry pouring out of my words "Um... Time if you have any helpful ideas please tell me about it now.". Time quickly said “You said that the door was there. Then go through.” Aw I am such an idiot I forgot all about the door. I then said “Alright.” I stared at the door for a moment then I touched it. As if reacted to my touch it slowly opened.
I looked back the things were almost within attacking distance. The door got to a point it was open just enough for me to get through. I stared to run into the crack in the door. Suddenly my world went black.
“Nick! Nick! Come on you have to wake up. Please be alright.” said a familiar voice. My eyes opened with a tired struggle. I looked up to see a gray unicorn with dirty blond hair staring down at me.
“Good you are awake. I thought I lost you.” the gray unicorn said. I stared up and asked “Who are you?” the gray unicorn said “Come on you still do not know.”. I asked “Time Surge?” the gray unicorn said “Ya ,that's me!” Time said now excited for some reason. Time then said “What bugs me is that of all places you end up here and now. Also that you came out a Changling."
"What? A changeling? What is a changeling ?" I asked. "Well, a changeling in short, is an oddly shaped creature with a horn and wings. Also, they has some hole on the hoofs. Nopony knows why. They have a great ability to mimic the shape of anypony, but they are horrible when it comes to acting." Time said with a grin. "What?" I asked him. "Oh, nothing important, I am just so happy to finally meet you face-to-face." Time said. "Wait one minute, if I am this... changeling, then how did you know it was me and not just a changeling when you first saw me?" I asked Time. Time answered "Oh that ,that was easy to figure out.You came out of the door." he pointed a hoof to the time door thing. I asked "Ok, but can you come up with a name for it I think it would be better to give it a name?" .Time said with a smirk "Oh how about Tuntuoon?" I said slightly confused "What? How about just "The Element of Time"?". Time says with approval "Ya that sound better. Ok The Element of Time is what you came out off."

I swear, Time has been acting weird lately, just standing in one place for hours on end. It is just weird. I wonder if there could possibly be anything wrong with him.It may have something to do with his brother, Fire Spark, leaving to do a mission alone. I hope his brother comes back from his mission from Celestria. I wonder what the mission was anyways. Oh well, I still need to finish reordering the bookcase today. I really find it odd, too, that Princess Celestia hasn't responded to any of my recent scrolls. Twilight come on stay focused! The faster I get this done the better. One thing is for sure, that my library will look amazing to anypony that visits after this. Still, with all these odd things happening, it seems that only one thing could make this day worse...What the? What is a changeling doing in my library and why is Time standing right next to it!?
"So what now?" I asked. Time said with a grin "Well, you can try out the changeling thing. You know, changing could be fun.". "What the!? Time what is wrong with you!? That is a changeling, a vampire of emotion! The ones that tried to messed with my brother's wedding and tried ripe us apart!" shouted a female from behind me. Then, without notice, I started to float in the air and a purple bubble formed around me. As I turned around, I faced a purple unicorn, her horn glowing and a tear in her eye.
"Twilight, it is not as it seems. This is Nick." Time tried to plead to the purple unicorn. "Oh you are giving these things names now. Time you seem so childish sometimes." My head felt funny and suddenly around the unicorn was a green bubble almost matching hers beside that fact it being a different color. I looked at her as her anger quickly turned to surprised back to anger in the blink of an eye. I said, quickly realizing that I did that "Sorry, sorry! I did not mean to do that! Sorry." Twilight quickly sneered at me then said still focused on me "Time, what did you do to this changeling? He is acting strange." Time replied with a quick smile, trying to hide his worry of what Twilight might do to me "He is an alternate me I believe." He shot me a quick, ear to ear, grin."He came through the Element of Time." Twilight took her eyes off of me asked "Element of Time?" Time said "Oh, it is something Nick and I came up with for the door. Now it has a name."
Twilight let out a big sigh and said "Ok I will listen, but if the story does not match the facts, I am throwing this changeling across Equestria back to the hive." Even though she had just threatened me, I focused and lowered the bubble around her. She got a smile on here face for a second but as she saw me staring at her she straightened it out. "... I am waiting." Twilight said. "Ok ,well I..." I started but was interrupted by a sudden knock on a door near by. "Can we come in dear...?" a female voice said. Another female voice shot in "...Time Surge said something fun was going to happen...". Then another female voice said "... Ya, we reckoned that we ought'a come by and see what it is...". One more voice said "...only if you don't mind us coming in." Time said quickly, without thinking "Ya you can come in." Twilight shot Time an angry look as Time realized his mistake unable to call his words back. Through the bubble I saw five ponies entered that stared right at me. The yellow one quickly hid behind one of her friends as a cyan pegasus walked up and saying "Twilight, what is a changeling doing in your house?" The bubble around me burst and I quickly fell to the ground with a thump. As I tried to get up the six ponies stared at me. I was about to ask for some help but Time pulled me up so I stood on all four hoofs. "Thanks, Time." I said. "No problem , Nick." Time said with a quick smile.
"So, I am guesting you two know each other." the white unicorn said. "Kinda, ya, that is a story but not a long one." Time said. "I will tell you all I know." I said. I told the events that lead up to now as I told my story the pony all sat down eyes opened with curiosity. As I finished with "...then Twilight attacked me" and now you are pretty much up to date." Twilight sighed knowing she could not even think that I was just a changeling anymore. Twilight said "well if your going to stay here then we will introduce everypony else this is " pointing a hoof to the pink pony "...Pinkie Pie..." then she said "Hi yaa!" Twilight continued " This is Rarity." The white unicorn said " Well... it is nice to me you dear.". "...Apple Jack..." the orange pony with a hat said, " Mighty fine to meet ya, Nick.". "...Rainbow Dash..." the cyan pegasus said "Don't even think about doing anything stupid, because I'm the fastest thing you will not ever see.". "..and Fluttershy." the yellow mare slowly stood and said weakly "...hi...Nick I am ...Fluttershy." . "Well hello everyone. Nice to meet all of you." I said as I tried to grin.
"Ok ,well I should report this to Celestria. Like she would read it anyways." said Twilight tried to keep awkward silence from seeping in. I slowly walked over to Time and extended a hoof. He looked worried for some reason. As I touched him he vanished as if he was never there. I quickly turn back around to be faced with 5 awed faces. I really could not tell with the pink pony because as little time I have know her, she never stopped smiling it felt kinda weird. "Guys...ponies I mean , where is Time?" I asked. I felt weird, my body felt wrong.It was awkward but, at the same time, not, which confused me more. Pinkie Pie said still hold the weird grin " You must have fused to form an alicorn. If you want to you can separate. All you have to do is think about yourself.". "Sounds good enough to try." it sounded like Time Surge but my mouth was moving with his voice. I quickly tried what Pinkie Pie said to do.
I closed my eyes thinking the worst had happened. As my eyes slowly opened there, before me stood Time ,looking the same way at me. Happy, yet confused on what just happened. Most of all why Pinkie know anything about it.
"Pinkie, how did you know what to do?" Twilight asked,seriously confused to what happened. "Oh silly, how else do you think I get around so fast? Sarah and I do it all the time." Pinkie said. I asked, with an even more confused look "Sarah?". "We don't know either." said Rainbow Dash "but we are going to find out.".
"Oh you want to meet her?Ok! Sarah, you can come out now." Pinkie said. "Finally! I though I would never get to introduce myself!" a voice said. It sounded near but I could not see its owner. As I was scanning the room, I saw Pinkie's shadow move. It slowly popped up to form what looked like a pony. I looked to my left to see a flash of light and then I saw a blade that resembled a key. "No! Stop, you bully she is a friend!" Pinkie quickly shouted wiping away her grin and pulled out a blade that also resembled a key.
"Doesn't everypony have a chance to explain! We gave your friend the chance why not mine!?" Pinkie shouted with an angered face even creepier then her grin. I got a closer look at Time's blade before it vanished from Pinkie's quote. It was long and gray, like his fur, at the handle it kinda looked like his door somewhat. "Ok, we'll give it a chance to talk. So do you know anything?" Time asked Sarah. "Well, all I can remember from before I meet Pinkie I heard click and clanks... like I was in a factory or something." Sarah said.
"Factory... there is only one factory around here and that is..." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash interrupted "... The Rainbow Factory."
